Nothing Everything

Location was good Fridge didn't work while we stayed and neither did freezer.

The accommodation itself is as photographed and clean however there’s was no hot water for 24 hrs and had to repeatedly chase before it was sorted - the fridge freezer does not work and has been strategically left out of listing so you have to plan not take perishables. Checkin was problematic and would advise arriving in plenty of time to collect key I was made to sweat at collection venue ( not the same as the residence) as the code sent came up as invalid and after an embarrassing wait with family was met by the maintenance man with replacement key. Also make sure to photograph and report any damage upon checkin to prevent incurring charges later!

Great location. Property was modern and very clean The building was a building site. Scaffolding everywhere and cladding was being replaced Not sent instructions for arrival in time. Finding apartment was very difficult Fridge and freezer were broken. One window catch was broken so you couldn’t close window. I couldn’t operate hob

This a question I cannot answer because I didn’t see it so can’t say I didn’t like been given a key with the wrong apartment number. Was really hard to find directions were not clear at all and none of the surrounding shops or workers knew where it was also no clear signage to find the apartments. When we did eventually find the building our key said 57 so we went to apartment 57 and there was a threatening note on the door. Safe to say we turned around and left immediately. I contacted Charlie to be told we had the wrong apartment so just go back, I’m sorry no!!

I liked leaving the place early due to the issues we faced. The key fob directed us to the wrong door which had a threatened message left to all visitors stating they would be stabbed in the neck if they tried to enter. H+S clearly are causing this issue with the key codes. Its deplorable that this place is recommended for families. My children were terrified. The building is also under construction and stinks of urine. Finally it was filthy and not clean whatsoever. Avoid at all costs.

Easy to find and close to Liverpool one and surroundings

It was clean and customer service was good I booked the place for my uncle and at the time of booking I did call them few times to ask about things not once got mentioned that building looked like a construction site and there was work going on. Then the fridge didn't work the whole time my uncle was there, cooker didn't work, if one person had shower hot water stopped working for the second person, heating was only available in the hall. Did call them and maintenance guy went round to say fridge need replacement but they left it and done nothing about that. I feel like I paid too much money and didn't get the service fully so I am very disappointed.

Location was good and bedding was clean. Very disappointed, firstly you get about 20 generic email and texts asking you the same questions about check in time, who is staying etc without getting an acknowledgement of your response before you even arrive. Check in is a 8-10 min walk to a shop, which is fine but once arriving at the shop I was given the wrong code to pick up the keys so I had to call up to get the correct code. On arriving at the apartment, there was loud building work in the flat complex which I think should have been mentioned to us, this doesn't look like it will end any time soon. There was supposed to be a spare key in the apartment but it wasn't there, after calling up I was asked to send a message instead which obviously no-one responded to so quite unnerving where the other key is. The fridge doesn't work and there was a mouldy milk carton in it which left us with an awful smell and we had to go and put it in the bin outside. The apartment was dusty, the bins had rubbish in them and the sofa bed is old and uncomfortable. They ask for a £25 nonrefundable payment as a security deposit before you stay which is shocking given that the fridge didn't work. After I had returned the keys, I was told I hadn't returned them which I replied to and heard nothing back.

The location is good Key collection was messed up. Noise during the weekend night because there are pubs around.

Location The checkin was a horror. The place we went to collect the key did not hsve the keys available. After a few calls 1hr later we got the keys only to go to apt number listed on key and discover apt number on key is not the same as the apt we were allocated. Finally after 3 hrs at almosr 12midnite we managed get into apt. In addititon only 1 travel size shampoo and soap was provided for 3 persons even though it was mentioned in listing toiletries will be provided. When asked, host advised they will only provide initial supply!! Even if it is meant to be initial supply, that small travel bottle of soap is not enough for 3 persons!

This is what I did NOT like - I could not add all of my comments to the 'What didn't you like' section - read this first and then the lower section after. This stay was booked by me for my son, his partner and my two grandsons (aged 9 and 11). I chose an apartment-style place for (their) flexibility, I would normally use hotels. There was no real cost saving here, this booking was as expensive as most decent Liverpool hotels but the flexibility of an apartment would be worth it - so I thought. The booking process was hardly straightforward, not the usual click and go on Booking.com. Shortly after booking I was contacted by the Host & Stay management team who needed information from me about my party and intentions of my visit. I know they are trying to vet guests for their client but this seemed somewhat intrusive. Before arriving I was informed that there would be a (mostly refundable) £250 damage deposit to pay or a £25 non-refundable waiver insurance. This was not mentioned when booking and I think it should have been. The process for paying the waiver also involved a basic 'vetting' via another agency, Superhog, it's not just about providing a card payment. I found this pretty excessive. After finally paying the waiver I was provided with a location to pick up the key to the apartment - a mini-market place not far from the apartment but not exactly next door either. This is just a plain hassle and contrasts so much with usually just showing up and checking in to a staffed hotel or b&b. The apartment. This was basic but ok. The sofa bed used by the boys was uncomfortable for them. There were issues with hot water provision. Continued... There was supposed to be a second apartment key in the apartment but this was missing, reported to Host & Stay with no action ensuing. This meant that somebody, somewhere, had a key to enter an apartment where my family was staying for 3 nights. Not good AT ALL. The front door itself would hardly close/lock and was very flimsy. In the wee small hours there was a lot of noise outside in the apartment complex interior and the door was kicked several times. My son slept fitfully due to concern somebody would kick in this door. Again, not good. On checkout we returned the key to the mini-market place but even then had a final pestering call from Host & Stay to ensure that the key had been returned (why not ask the mini-market?). Painful. Would I book this apartment again? Absolutely not, even at 50% of what we paid. I'm from Liverpool and I know that a city centre location on a weekend is going to be raucous but having to worry about security of a place once you shut the door is very bad indeed. Would I use Host & Stay again? No I won't, they are far too intrusive and their booking procedures are frankly over the top. I will stick to staffed hotels and b&bs and have the knowledge that if something goes wrong I can call down to somebody to address that. My recommendation - avoid booking this apartment and, in my opinion, avoid using Host & Stay or fully understand their processes and charges. Wholly unimpressed!

We stayed in the apartment for a week over New Years. We were three people and the house was extremely comfortable. The place is very beautiful and is next to the center, next to the bus station and next to the best pubs in town. Nevertheless the house was quiet, well equipped and clean. The owners answered all our questions immediately. We spent very nice family moments there, a small problem with the refrigerator did not manage to spoil our mood. We will definitely visit the city again and the apartment will be in our choices.

We loved the apartment and the location coyld not have been better. It was a few steps away from the Liverpool One bus station and the entrance to Liverpool One itself. Only negative was having to walk passed the property with two kids to collect the keys in a mini mart which was a bit of a walk away. This was my first time using Airbnb so I'm not sure if that was the norm? Again maybe it is normal for Airbnb but we had to check ouf at 10am which is very early as we were not flying home until 10pm that night. Also, no free option to leave our luggage somewhere for the day. All in all a very positive experience, the hosts were very responsive to any queries and we had a really enjoyable weekend at this premises.

This place was as described. Everything was nice and clean, there was a few food droplets around the sick area but other than that it was all clean. Heating worked fine, it was nice that the place was warm on arrival. Fridge wasn't working very well, it didn't seem to get cold. Parking is hard if you plan to stay in during the day as you can only park on the road for 4 hours and the car parks nearby were expensive. Other than minor bits, everything was perfect and it's good for a few nights away in the centre of Liverpool. Would definitely book again. Thank you!

Clean , good location. Hot water for showers was great. Didn’t like that we had to travel in a taxi to get the keys at a shop to pick up keys and then had to take the keys back to the shop when we checking out was about a 5 min drive in taxi. And there was only one double bed and sofa which wasn’t very comfortable.

Hosts were very communicative with my queries and the apartment is a nice space; clean and convenient. Check in was smooth with clear instructions. There was one issue with the window/blind in the apartment - it could not be closed (it was open on arrival), so this affected sleep. Other than that, everything was great, we would definitely use this company again. Thank you!

My two friends and I wanted to come back to Liverpool for a wholesome and nostalgic reunion, three years since we had seen each other last (pre-COVID). We booked this accommodation as it was a very reasonable price given the height of the Summer season and the central location in Liverpool City Centre. The location was the best part for us, having all lived in Liverpool City Centre previously, we wanted to be back in the middle of it all, and we were, but also in a location that was quiet in the evenings and so it felt residential and private, but with the availability of the city centre on the doorstep. It was the perfect location and vibe for us. It has kitchen amenities which meant that we ate in one evening, and ate out the other evening, which helped us to save money and have a quieter, more wholesome evening in the flat. The instructions provided by the hosts in the lead up to check in and check out were also clear and consistent. Thank you!

Good flat, great location. A bit noisy otherwise perfect

The apartment is in the middle of the city, a 5 minute walk away from Liverpool One Bus Station where you can take the bus 500 directly to Liverpool Airport and a 8 minute walk away from Liverpool Central Station, so that is pretty good. Restaurants, pubs, cafes, supermarkets are also just a quick walk away. The bed was really comfy and the linen clean, we didn`t use the sofa bed, so i can`t say anything about that. For a short trip to Liverpool without a car is the apartment a good choice. Reading the description of the apartment it says self-check-in via key box. But when you book the apartment you get the information, that you have to pick up the key at a mini market during certain times and return the key to the same market. That should be visible before you book the apartment. You get a lot of instructions and information, but i guess thats because it`s a commercially rented apt.

Great stay. What was really good was that I only booked on the day and the check in process to get the keys was easy. Great detailed instructions. Lovely apartment.

It was a fantastic location and as described but there was a few issues checking in which were avoidable but caused a real nuisance when me and my mates travelled from different cities and arrived at different times, We also asked for 4 beds to be made up and there was only the double made up with the Sofa bed something that we had to do so it’s actually a 2 bed and not great for 4 tall men, I cannot fault the location but a few things mean I can’t give a 5/5

Appartement très confortable, très propre et très bien situé. Cuisine bien équipée pour préparer des repas. On ne rencontre pas d'hôte pour l'installation, tout se fait en ligne. Les clés sont récupérées dans une superette (10 minutes à pied). Tout s'est bien passé, en cas de souci on peut appeler un numéro mais il vaut mieux se débrouiller convenablement en Anglais.

All very tidy and in order, well furnished kitchen, good double bed and comfortable foldable bed-couch. Super close to the city, good value for money. The check-in and check-out process was super smooth. Recommendable.

modern and spacious access

It was sparkling clean The apartment at Duke street was not available and we've been given an apartment at Seel Street which was located above a club. The noise was horrendous until 4 in the morning.

Location was ideal as we were attending a conference at the centre at Albert Dock. Handy to have a mini market and plenty of places to eat nearby. Quite noisy at night. It was a bit too warm even though the heating was off. Would have been useful to have a tea towel as we didn't use the dishwasher.

Location you’re close to everything

We really enjoyed our stay in this appartment. The location was perfect, close to the city and some really good restaurants not too far away. We had some minor problems regarding the windows, but once we called the owners , they were resolved relatively quickly. Their communication was always clear. We would definitely recommend this appartment!

the location only 1 window in living room opened and it was the hottest weekend of the year !

it’s a great accommodation for the price, placed at heart of the city, we were able to walk everywhere from Albert dock to the train station. We had to walk 10 minutes from the accommodation to collect the keys. The window got stuck and we couldn’t close it.

A clean fresh bedroom and linen. Clean bathroom with lots of hot water for a bath. The kitchen facilities you may require are there. Space to relax. Great central location. Little bits of the apartment are tired but would not need much time to resolve.

Excellent Location and very clean

The staff on the phone were very nice and very helpful as well. I had an issue with my debit card and they helped me all the way through. The location of the flat was also really good (even that you have to pick up the key in another place). And the flat was in good conditions. I did not like the fact that you have to walk around 8 min (two times) uphill to reach the keys. If you have to walk around 16 min in total with your suitcase from that property makes its location not attractive anymore. And also when you have to return the key, again, with your suitcases. I did not like the fact that the facility is not an hotel and they charge like an hotel, where you can pick you and drop you key directly and sort everything face to face on a desk (like debit card issue). I also did not like the fact that in advance you have to fill a form after you have booked the place on booking.com, on the form you need to provide your ID and why are you travelling there for. I found very inappropriate to ask such of things this days.

only positive is the location Staff was unorganised and unprofessional. and several things did not work inside apartment. cups were dirty and insects in bathroom.

location was good 10 mins to dock 10 mins to town key pick up is a 15 minute walk away from flat coming from train station that means about a 30 minute walk with luggage, needs a refresh, kitchen utensils limited, room was very hot only two small windows that open slightly large window wasn’t able to open

This place is a quiet, clean and calming place. It is very near the centre and close to all the restaurants and shops of the area.

Location superb, apartment excellent but the entrance hall etc could be maintained a little bit better by the management company responsible for the upkeep of the whole apartment complex

Fab location very clean

A good location in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Quite a secure building. No parking available so had to book parking for the length of our stay in a nearby car park

Clean, good facilities, not too noisy, very central. Altogether we were delighted.

The bed was very uncomfortable and needs replacing was completely sunken on one side so bad my partner slept on the living room sofa bed. As the main part of a stay is the sleeping I wouldn’t recommend this place until it gets replaced. The actual apartment is a great location and good value and if the bed hadn’t been so bad I would have given a better review. Also the bathroom needs some serious TLC but still a spacious good bathroom with a great shower.

Our stay in Liverpool was great! The check in and out process was very simple and the team were super responsive if we ever needed anything. Location of the flat is ideal and so close to town. Would definitely book again!

Everything (location, cleanliness, etc.) was great except for the fact that we did not have hot water for the entire 4-day trip. The issue wasn’t resolved despite communication with the team. So definitely something for them to work on.

Great Stay

Clean and tidy apartment. Great location, only a short walk to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Just note there is a walk to get the keys for the apartment. The team are only a message away and very good with any questions you may have.

Katy, Joe and Charlie were super friendly, helpful and responded quickly to any issues. The rental itself is pretty basic, but is in a great location close to everything.

Excellent communication from the team. Fantastic central location without being too noisy. Issues with the hot water not working but as I say, communication was excellent to resolve this.

This place is really good!

The location is very convenient and the flat is fine for a quick stay. Host was not super flexible as other hosts were with cancellation policy under COVID-19 uncertainty and sudden government announcement, but followed the official guidelines.

My wife and I have really enjoyed staying in Katy and Joe's place. I honestly visit Liverpool a lot and stayed in number of different hotels and Airbnb accommodations; however, this apartment was different, I had all services within a range of 5 minutes, Tesco, Home Bargains and John Lewis (2 minutes), Closest sport centre -The Gym- (5 minutes), one of the most famous street in Liverpool -Bold street- is a 5-minute walk which is known for its Cafés and restaurants.

Very spacious and tidy flat in a great location. Great communication, would happily recommend.

Lovely flat , right in the heart of Liverpool City Centre .

Just returned from a two night stay at this apartment. The location is ideal, close to all the amenities. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment. There was dirty crockery in the cupboards, bedroom carpet had not been hoovered as the last guests shopping receipts and clothing tags were still on the floor. There were a few lights that did not work. Also there was an issue with the television.

Overall we loved our stay, but compared to other Airbnb’s we have stayed in, we were left a little disappointed with this. Mainly due to cleanliness of the apartment and the kitchen/bathroom amenities. Would recommend to friends if hosts ensure better cleaning and better amenities.

This apartment is ideal for any events in the city centre/Albert Dock area. Bedroom is very quiet as it faces inside apartment block. Sofa bed in lounge is comfortable. Key collection is just a couple of streets away and there’s a secure car park literally around the corner.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Liverpool! One of our party was heavily pregnant and it was ideal for her to get around and even the bed was really comfie. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Stylish and clean living space and great for weekend in Liverpool

Great location for the centre. Easy key pick up and walkable from train stations. Stones throw from places to eat, docks and shops. Nice quiet modern flat. Stayed with my Mum and daughter whilst visiting son at uni. Sofa bed was comfy and spacious enough for two. Not as clean as I’d like ( we all have different standards) but have fed that back. Would use again

Good central location. Asked by hosts to check in a bit later so changed a few plans, they did offer to hold baggage in storage for us but it all worked out anyway.

This is a great place to stay if you are attending a conference on the Waterfront. Easy check-in. Close to the train station and quiet. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Looks just like the pictures and the tub is a nice bonus.

Questo alloggio è veramente fantastico sia per chi vuole visitare Liverpool sia per chi vuole utilizzarlo come punto di appoggio per visitare altre città. Infatti è localizzato in un punto strategico: in centro e allo stesso tempo vicino alla stazione dei bus (1 minuto a piedi) e alle stazioni dei treni (meno di 10 minuti a piedi). La casa è molto carina e confortevole, arredata con mobili moderni e con tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari (tv, phon, bollitore, tostapane, ferro da stiro...). L'abitazione è situata in centro, ma allo stesso tempo in una zona silenziosa. L'appartamento fa parte di uno stabile servito di ascensore e ben tenuto. Il team di Katy si è mostrato molto gentile e disponibile durante tutto il viaggio. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio! Se dovessi ritornare a Liverpool, questo appartamento sarà sicuramente la mia scelta!

Super airbag, allerdings eine von vielen Wohnungen. Die Wohnung war zwar "sauber", aber ein Frühjahrsputz wäre nötig.

Great spot, close to everything in Liverpool.

Truly a perfect place with an exceptional location, especially if you're on a shopping trip... close to a lot of amenities, shops, restaurants... simply amazing! Such a warm apartment, with everything you may need. Also, we loved the tips that were provided in the guidebook. Just a little note regarding some minor construction works going on outside our window during our first morning, as we weren't made aware of this... however it did not happen again during the weekend, and is of course temporary. Locating the key lock box was super easy if you follow the instructions given, so no hassle with that whatsoever. Thank you for making our stay in Liverpool delightful!!!

I very much enjoyed the stay! Everything in the apartment was excellently sorted. The apartment is also conveniently located in downtown Liverpool. Liverpool ONE bus station and Lime Street train station are both within walking distance.

Good location but presentation lacked care like some lights work, you have to find out the water heater was switched off and the flat smelt of a previous residents burn't cooking. It could be excellent with a bit more care by Katy and her team

Very central , Near Liverpool One about 200metre , so you can shopping and have a lot of restaurant , 10minute from Lime street station. So quiet , comfort bed and sofabed , have5 heater so it's warm on winter season , safety because have key card to access apartment, have elevator to carry a lot of luggage like us Nice kitchen and clean kitchenware Nice bathroom with bath tub , high pressure and warm water. But after check out , the owner request us for the penalty fee too much because our misunderstand that we left our food for housekeeper because I think it's useful for the someone, and that's why we pay cleaning fee if we must clean everything like the day we check in.

Appartement conforme aux photos,très bien placé en centre ville ! Proprietaires réactifs et toujours disponibles si besoin. Bémols : les murs sont très fins (on entend tout...), la lumière passe a travers les rideaux du salon pendant la nuit (le mieux est de ne pas dormir dans cette pièce donc partir a 2 et non a 4) et pas suffisamment de papier toilette.

The apartment is well located, it is clean and I really enjoyed it. But getting the keys through their self checking system was a nightmare as i could not find the keys (separate location to apartment), i called the 3 mobiles i had and nobody was answering and i had to drop them again in a separate location after leaving. It felt very impersonal like booking a flat through an agency, absolutely no personal contact. Very different experience from when i ve booked with Airbnb in the past.

Lovely apartment! Access to the flat was really straightforward as the lock box was only a short walk from the apartment and easy to work out. The apartment itself was clean yet cozy and perfect for a weekend away. It was in a great location, very central and close to restaurants/shops, yet it was very quiet during the evening/night. Very central to the Liverpool 1 area, easy to get to everything and has some great little bars and restaurants feet away from the apartment. We enjoyed our time exploring Liverpool.

As a Liverpool Fans, I highly recommended this apartment to fellow Liverpool Fans from all over the world. It is Located at the centre of Liverpool City. Walking distance to Liverpool One, Albert Dock, Liverpool Museum and etc. The apartment is fully furnished. 2 person is more than enough. The sofa bed can even stay another 2 person. Clean and modern furniture. I will stay here again if I visit Liverpool next time!!! YNWA

The apartment is clean, safe and well kept. It's close to anywhere you want to get to centrally and fantastic value. I would recommend this place to others.

the location of this property was great, literally minutes from centre.. we found the property could have been a bit cleaner though.. also missing some bedding despite looking in all drawers and cupboards.. ok if you just want somewhere basic

The location is fantastic and the pullout couch is very comfortable. The hosts are very responsive via messenger and explain everything clearly. Just be aware that the lockbox for self check in is 15 minute walk away from the flat so plan accordingly. My friends and I had heavy suitcases and didn't read carefully enough.

Clean and modern apartment that's about a 7 minute walk from the Lime St. station.

A great central location and easy to find! We had 3 people staying (2 in the bedroom and one on the pullout bed) and there was just enough room; it's probably more ideal for 2 and would be too small for 4.

This is a great place to stay right in the centre of things and well appointed and equiped. Clean and modern.

We really enjoyed our stay in Liverpool! It was a great little flat in an excellent location with everything we needed. Only negatives were that the key wasn't in the lock box at check in so we have about half an hour to kill and also we weren't able to shut the window in the bedroom. Two very friendly lads came around and fixed the window really quickly though so it didn't effect our trip too much. Would very happily stay again!

Lovely little flat, great location! The hosts were very helpful and provided lots of helpful information if you had never been to the area before. The only negative was the flat was hot and never seemed to cool, perhaps a fan would aid this in these hot summer months! Would definitely stay again however.

We had a great stay in a lovely central flat. Very close to Liverpool One and Albert dock and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The flat is very clean and well maintained. The hosts were great. Very quick to respond and gave clear check in/out instructions. They didn't meet us in person but this wasn't a problem as we were given plenty of contact numbers if we needed anything and they were quick to respond to messages. We'd loved to come back again.

This apartment is in a fantastic location. It's within easy walking distance of absolutely everything central that we wanted to visit during our stay in Liverpool. It was very clean and I found the hosts really accommodating and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this place.

Nice and quiet apartment, very close to Liverpool One. Everything is good except no WiFi available.

The perfect base from which to explore Liverpool. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (even with four people in it), well looked after, really clean and the beds are comfortable. Everything about our stay was first class; the booking, the communication, the checking in and out and the place itself. If I'm ever back in Liverpool I'll be back in this apartment.

The apartment is in a great location. Walking distance to every sights. Nicely and efficiently furnished and very clean. For the four guests, as we were, perfectly satisfactory. The kitchen facilities were sufficient. The hosts were very attentive and the communication with them was perfect. All information about accommodation and place of stay has been provided accurately and on time. If we will visit Liverpool again in the future, this apartment will be our first choice.
