Cobblestones is ideal for couples and groups of friends looking for a break by the coast. As well as being just a few minutes' walk from the beach, this two-bedroom apartment is also close to all amenities and shops that Marske-by-the-Sea has to offer. There are also plenty of other areas of interest to visit nearby such as the North Yorkshire Moors, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Whitby and Redcar.
The open-plan living and dining room is an excellent space for spending quality time with your loved ones at Cobblestones. With a large bay window, it is furnished with a navy blue sofa and matching armchairs, whilst the dining space consists of a light blue wooden dining table and four comfy cream dining chairs. The room also has a TV and a DVD player, so you can spend time watching your favourite shows.
The kitchen is an ideal space for preparing home cooked meals during your stay. With a fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, toaster and a dishwasher, you’ll have everything you need for your self catering stay. Light green cupboards and wooden worktops to give it a natural and warm feel.
The first bedroom at Cobblestones exudes a fresh, light-green vibe and is spacious and well-ventilated. It features a grey chest of drawers to keep your possessions neatly tucked away and keep things clutter-free throughout your stay.
The second bedroom also has a double bed. With plenty of storage to boast about, this tranquil space is ideal for unwinding after a busy day.
The bathroom in this roomy apartment is a clean and modern space. It has a bathtub with an overhead shower, a wash basin, and a WC. The wood appearance floor tiles add warmth to the room and give the bathroom a comforting feel. The walls feature large grey tiles which give the room a modern look.

For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Marske-by-the-Sea is a delightful village located on the North Yorkshire coast, less than 10 minutes from Saltburn and Redcar. The village square is packed with independent businesses, including dog-friendly cafes, pubs, micropubs and restaurants. Nearby is Marske Valley Gardens where you can explore walkways lined with beautiful flowers. Head to Marske Sands and you’ll find a long stretch of gently sloping sandy beach. The famous Cleveland Way snakes its way across the cliff tops and along the beach to Saltburn and beyond.
Neighbouring Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a great place to visit during your stay. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.
You can also find popular villages and towns such as Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby further along the coast.
Cobblestones is within walking distance of all that Marske has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn, Staithes, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Marske Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Marske. Hop on the Arriva X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby.
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Free parking is available throughout Marske-by-the-Sea.
Cobblestones will welcome 1 well-behaved dog.
Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited.
Please note that the apartment is located above a sophisticated micropub which can be busy at weekends.
Really clean, thoughtful arrival process. Big bar of chocolate, biscuits and milk in the fridge. <br/>Good selection of cooking utensils, spotlessly clean.<br/>Very minor faults in the bathroom. Sink doesn’t drain maybe due to blockage. Towel rack is loose and may come away from wall. <br/>Maybe replace TV for more modern model.
Nice and comfortable furnishings and beds. Central location. Carpeted floor all on one level made it easy to leave crawling baby to explore around<br/>Central location was great but on top of a bar so Saturday eve was very loud when you have young children trying to sleep- Floor shook from a door downstairs being opened and closed. Stopped by 11 ish though and then all quiet. Bedrooms need curtains- too light to sleep in. No washing machine. Good for a short stay but any longer than 3 nights we might have struggled
Clean, well equipped and comfy beds. Everything we could need (towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, chocolate bar) and even a voucher for the micro pub downstairs (although we didn't use it as we have young children).<br/>It is directly above a pub which on Friday and Saturday nights is obviously noisy. Although, it does close between 11 and 11:30pm so not a problem if you don't have young children.
Clean tidy. Milk biscuits and chocolate left for our stay. Lovely place for a nice quiet weekend.

Host provided tea / coffee sugar milk etc on arrival. Property is located across from the Co-Op so easy enough to get anything you need. Only 10min walk down to the beach. Had all cutlery and utensils you would need for a few nights stay. Even had few Christmas decorations up to keep in the spirit of things. The guidebook is helpful with advice on places to eat etc. If you dont fancy cooking can get decent selection of takeaways delivered from Redcar.<br/>Could do with curtains in the front bedroom to block streetlights and road noise (road isn't that busy so not major issue). We couldn't see the bins for additional rubbish even with the guidebook. Could have done with bit more space on kitchen for some food storage, but there is a lot in a small space already. Have to park across the road in the leisure centre carpark, which can get busy, but seemed safe enough.

Excellent flat, very clean and well equipped, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location, easy to park in the co-op across the road. Easy access to all amenities in Marske and a good point from which to visit other lovely locations in the area.
