Lovely cottage, easy to find and access was simple, overall the cottage was clean and comfortable a few cobwebs here and there, but otherwise clean!
Lovely area with lots of nice pubs and places to eat within walking distance. Down by the river is a nice place to walk the dog, would highly recommend this lovely place, hope to visit again in the future!

Lovely cottage. Very homely. Be prepared for some noisy farm traffic at 5am though! Better with window closed the second morning.

The cottage is beautiful and the hosts are informative and helpful. A good size property for our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, plus a quaint private garden space, ideal for our dogs. Although parking was never an issue, space outside the property is limited and the road is very busy. However, Masham village square is a 5 minute walk and has ample parking and a great pub/restaurant called the Kings Head. Highly recomend this property as a base for exploring North Yorkshire.

The cottage was very pleasant and had a garden for a dog which was very handy.
The curtains do let the Sun in in the morning so bring some blackout blinds.
The location was excellent and very close to the town centre and lots of plenty of walks straight from the front door.

Decor was good and size was good for a couple with a walk into town

Cottage was dirty cutlery and pans with food stuck on. Toilet and floors not cleaned to a decent standard. Signs of major leak and back door lock broken so unable to open. Reported issues but fobbed off by management who were totally disinterested and more concerned about the security deposit

A nice base with lovely decor. Close to market square. Some amenities (washing machine and travel cot) not accessible as advertised.

Loved our stay at willow green it was perfectly situated in the gorgeous Masham. The cottage was beautiful and very clean, the garden was lovely and so nice that it was secure for the dog. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely cottage with some quality fixtures and fittings. Very clean and comfortable. Would easily recommend. In need of a little TLC here and there but nothing that affects your stay. Parking is advertised as 'on premises' but it is actually on street, but we never had a problem parking outside the front door. Maybe it is just the Yorkshire in me but a Teapot would be nice (not included). Overall though a great place to stay and in a great location to either drive out to the many sights of the Dales or a walk into the town centre for a pub, shop or café.

Very lovely cottage well furnished. Comfy beds.

It's a noisy road with lorries going past.
The back door is a bit drafty.
We couldn't work out how to get live TV on

Very good position to take advantage of Masham. Very well equiped made magical at Christmas time with real fire Christmas Market all in the snow!

Had a lovely stay at this air BnB - thank you

Michael Eric

Thank you, we all really enjoyed our stay at your property plus there's lots to do in and around Masham, we'll be coming back next year.
Thanks again,
Mike.

Excellent bed

No welcome pack especially milk

The cottage was very clean and tidy and it's a very nice place to stay

Within town area.

Entrance bit close to Road?

Lovely house, lovely village.

We had a fantastic stay in Masham. Such a beautiful area and the cottage was perfect!
There were some roadworks outside the property but we managed to get parking on the next street.

A beautiful well equipped cottage that allowed us to relax as a family. Also a great location to explore.

The only tiny comment was the bench in the back garden was a little unstable if you sat on one edge. At one point it ‘fell apart’ as I sat on it. No worries at all but thought I would mention it as the bench might need some attention.

Very clean and welcoming
Beautiful furnishings
Location
Secure garden
Comfortable beds

Lack of parking , roadworks outside the properties

We were a party of 4 adults. We had a very pleasant stay at Green Willow. The cottage was cosy, clean and well equipped and it was easy to walk into town. We enjoyed using the facilities in the garden when the sun shone. The kitchen and second bedroom were a little cramped but this wasn’t really a problem.

The cottage was well positioned and set out nicely. The garden was great as we took our dog. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. Masham is a lovely town and plenty to see in surrounding area or lovely local dog walks if you don't want to use your car.

The cottage did not feel particularly clean, especially the downstairs bathroom. The shower tray leaked, and the toilet didn't seem like it had been cleaned. I've since looked at other reviews for the cottage and the same things have been said by other people who have stayed in this accommodation on previous occasions, which surprises me as I thought you would act on feedback. The double bed was very hard and not pleasant to sleep on and the pillows were pretty uncomfortable too.

The position of the cottage was great

Dirty laundry left from the previous stay
Loose toilet seat
Stained towels

Cleanliness and level of equipment.

Nothing

Clean, tidy, excellent arrival info via online guest book. Stunning area with incredible pubs and walks, this cottage was perfect for our little family holiday. We will definitely be coming back! X

Everything really, but, the well equiped open kitchen diner living area with open fire was lovely. The safe secure garden was also great. It felt more like a home than a holiday home as there were lots of little personal touches everywhere and had really nice furnishings.

The only things we didn't like were the areas of damp on the walls, but it didn't affect our holiday (no smell or anything, just a cosmetic thing really). Back bedroom window was a little noisy in the wind (whistled round the frame).

Our stay was very nice and the house was clean and comforable. looking forward to our stay in August

What a super little cottage, everything you could need in a great location. We will definitely be back.

The property was spotless, beautifully presented and the super king sized bed was an unexpected bonus

A really lovely place to stay for a few days. The house was clean and well presented.
The house had all amenities you would need, lovely kitchen ware… if the weather is poor and it means you stay in, the TV doesn’t have any live channels-but if you have Netflix account or want to watch something on an app on the TV, you can.
The open fire with logs ready and waiting were very welcome as the weather had turned colder and wetter. It was so cosy!
Nice sized garden that would be really great to use in good weather.
I would definitely go back and stay again it’s a stones throw away from the main town of Masham and all its amenities.

Green Willow is a beautiful cottage and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and cosy. It’s in a great location 5mins walk to centre of Masham, which is a lovey town. We had issues during our stay with front door lock jamming, this was dealt with first time but not second which was disappointing. Make sure this has been corrected before your stay! Otherwise, lovely.

Great location very comfortable beds very clean.

No lock on bathroom downstairs. Felt too many messages from host through our stay. keep reminding to leave at 10. Maybe sml carton of milk in fridge would be nice.

Cottage was fab was home from home and in a great little village, central for the things we wanted to do

Cant fault anything

Cosy little cottage, tastefully furnished and with a lovely garden and only a few minutes walk from Masham's market place. Fully kitted out with everything for a comfortable stay.

Traffic was a little noisy early in a morning if we had the windows at the front open.

My sister & I plus, Darcy the puppy had a most wonderful 3 night visit to Green Willow Cottage. While the downstairs open plan living space is compact it is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Upstairs the master bedroom is spacious while the 2nd smaller one can just about squeeze in two people. We both commented on how comfy the beds were.
Miss Darcy was very happy with her safe and secure garden for the duration of her stay. The only inconvenience is that the cottage is on a busy road with wagons going back and forth to the animal feed depot 200yds down the road. It certainly didn't spoil our stay but others might feel differently.
Masham us a characterful market town with plenty of places to eat, just a 2 minute stroll from the cottage.
We would highly recommend Green Willow Cottage, as a home away from home and would gladly return.

The cottage was extremely well furnished, to a very good standard. and the kitchen was more than adequately stocked with utensils, pans, crockery, glasses, etc. The shower needed attention to the grouting at the bottom. The tv would only let us watch BBC 1 and 2 live, ITV, C4 and C5 on catch up !!!!

Absolutely lovely cottage within walking distance of beautiful Masham square. Very comfortable and homely and well equipped kitchen. It was great having outdoor space and garden furniture because we were lucky enough to have sunshine during our stay. It was a pleasant surprise that the tv was a smart tv and we could access Netflix etc because we were away with our choccie lab and stayed in during the evening. Highly recommend this cottage!

very clean and cosy. well equipped and good location not far from the market place. Lovely garden. Communication and information from host is good.

curtains in back bedroom need to be hung correctly as some hooks broken.. care needed entering the property as uneven floors. some parts seem loose. wi-fi password stated is incorrect.( second last letter).

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is lovely and in a great location 5min walk to the market square. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could want, also has a bbq and a nice area to sit in the enclosed garden. It was as described and was very well looked after. Would highly recommend the cottage and would stay again.

fabulous position

the shower screen was broken so we were unable to use it as the water leaked all over the floor.

Really lovely little cottage in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town square. Clean, well equipped and easy to park right outside. Could not fault a thing.

Just the issue of the curtain track hanging off the wall but we appreciate it’s not easy fixing these in an old property . Pictures show 2 double beds and did ask fir this but 2nd room was still a twin room

property was good location in Masham. very comfortable and clean. garden was an extra especially. in the good weather we had.

nothing

Great cottage comfortable , clean and well equipped.
Great location and things to do in Masham and surrounding area.
Fully recommend.
Martin

Marvellous place to stay, very well furnished and exceptionally clean. Great places to walk, eat and drink. Lovely relaxing weekend away

Great position for our family wedding at Swinton Estate, the cottage was lovely and clean and cosy for our stay. The 5 minute walk to shops and pubs in the square was ideal for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable, if a little wonky (the floors in this old cottage are quite sloped). All in all this cottage was the perfect base for our family of four in Masham.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location.
We really loved the outside seating area.
We would love to stay here again

A lovely little cottage with a nice garden. Great to have a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival.

A lovely cottage, beautifully furnished with a great garden. The location is perfect. Parking available on the doorstep and just a short walk into Masham.

Close to many places of interest.
Cute cottage

Cleaning left a lot to be desired.
Only on road parking on a busy road.

Great place to stay

Would highly recommend

This is lovely, lovely cottage. It’s clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved my stay here. Thank you so much.

As described, great location and brilliant for the local breweries.

Had a great weekend at the cottage. Just as advertised, comfy, clean and close to the centre of Masham.
Great that it had an enclosed garden as we had a pooch with us. Parking is on the roadside but got outside the door on both evenings.
