Fantastic property with an absolutely fabulous bath! Great location 5 mins walk to the beach & pubs. Morrisons local less than a minute away for essentials or treats. Lovely bit of the beautiful north east coast. All the homely touches in the property were great. We thoroughly enjoyed the duck ornaments, crockery, even the tablecloth ?. You wanted for nothing at this property. There was even an umbrella. There was nothing we didn't like! The area deserves some investment & marketing by the local council. We chatted to many of the friendly locals & enjoyed it stay despite the changeable weather.

The house was very well presented and had everything we needed. Nice and modern and really very clean. The garden. It was very dirty and there were piles of dog poo which had not been cleared away by previous occupants. Also we were constantly reminded to vacate the property by 10.00 am despite replying to say we would be away in plenty of time and still had a further message asking us to ensure we left by 10.00 am.

Cosy house nestled in a small quiet street close to our family. Very tidy on arrival. A small gift box left for us to all snack on. Very spacious. Very much liked the motion sensor lights, especially at night in the dark. Front door kept sticking involving us having to lift the door and push or pull at the same time. Kept banging my elbow on the cabinet next to the toilet. Two out of three beds were very uncomfortable.

Good size property with comfortable beds and a clean airy atmosphere. Close to the beach and a few doors down from a convenience store. Functional kitchen, good bathroom and plenty of space throughout. Only minor things such as no freezer, very small glasses, the floor mop don’t spray and the hand wash was virtually empty but didn’t impact our stay. Like I say, very minor!

WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Make sure you fully read the advert as they do ask for a £25 non-refundable deposit or a £250 refundable one. I was convinced this was against the rules of Airbnb to use an external site to collect a deposit but turns out it's not. I had a lot of issues with the host repeatedly sending an expired link to collect the deposit which went on for over a day. This issue did lead to me loosing a nights stay in the property for no fault of my own. The host wasn't overly fussed about this and was more interested in getting the deposit sorted. Luckily I did get my refund for that night from Airbnb. I wouldn't book again as the only word I have to sum up the whole booking was HASSLE!

Great property, from the outside looks rather small but when you enter, a very pleasant surprise at how big it actually is. Very clean, have everything you require for a home from home stay. Location great, we visited Cragside, Bamburgh, Warkworth Castle and beach as well as Seahouses and then Cresseell Beach on our way home. Didn’t spoil our stay but a TV in bedroom would have been appreciated to relax after a full packed day

Host and Say require multiple steps to complete the booking including using an external site to verify your identity (even if you have multiple reviews as a customer). They then require you to pay a deposit (250 euros for me) and a hidden 10 pound administration fee. I believe this information is available before you book but it wasnt very clear. The hidden fee for admin seemed unfair. I paid the 250 deposit on 26th Dec and now on 10th January, there has been no communication from Host & Stay about the deposit and it has not been returned. They are very keen to make you jump through multiple hoops to complete the booking but then forget to proactively manage the deposit. House is fine but the agency is over-bearing and doesnt follow up on the additional money they required to complete the booking.
