Property Details

The Space
Benton Road has a bright and welcoming open plan living, kitchen and dining area. With neutral tones and large bi-fold doors which open out to the garden, you’ll instantly feel relaxed in this modern space.

The property boasts a beautiful, immaculate kitchen in white. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, you’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals. Enjoy your home cooked meals at the dining area which includes a wooden dining table with six comfy dining chairs.

Benton Road also benefits from a second living room where you can sit back and relax in front of the flat screen TV, or just chill with a good book.

Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find three cosy bedrooms. The master bedroom has a luxurious king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower, WC and basin. The second and third bedrooms are also home to king beds. Each bed has crisp, white bed linens and plush bedding to ensure you get a great night’s sleep.

The family bathroom features a bathtub, overhead shower, WC and wash basin for your convenience.

Benton Road’s fantastic features don’t end inside. Head outside and you’ll find a large rear garden with artificial grass and outdoor seating.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Benton Road is located in the village of West Allotment in the Borough of North Tyneside. A short 10 minute drive from the popular seaside town of Whitley Bay and the coastal settlement of Cullercoats, you'll be perfectly placed to enjoy the sea during your stay.

If you are visiting on a work stay, the UK's largest office park, Cobalt Park, is located just a mile away from Benton Road.

West Allotment is also 15 minutes from Newcastle City Centre where you'll find top cocktail bars, clubs and entertainment venues all within easy walk from each other. Enjoy laidback cocktails, live music, local pubs and energetic clubs. If you’re looking to dine out, you’ll be in your element. Newcastle Train Station is a short 20-minute drive from the property and here you’ll find regular routes to Edinburgh, Liverpool and London amongst many others.

Eldon Square bus station is a 15-minute drive from the property with routes to Gateshead, Houghton, Chester-le-Street and Jesmond.

it was very comfortable



Great house with lovely space definitely would stay again



House was lovely I cannot fault it<br/>The location was a further 4miles from the location I was given. Turned up at an address given and it was someone's actual home! Resulted in extremely expensive taxis to and from Newcastle. Hosts were well no help at all didn't really seem to care offered a discount of future booking, what good that is I don't know!! Then just ignored my emails from then on. Lovely place just a shame the address was incorrect and bloody miles away from Newcastle!! 30quid in taxis each way.

The place was impressive with lots of space and clean. Bit of drive to Newcastle but quiet surrounding



We enjoyed staying at this accommodation and would happily stay again. Very spacious and comfortable.<br/>The beds were very cosy also.<br/>The only downside to this accommodation was that there was no heating and due to the time of year we were very cold during our stay.

The property was very comfortable and clean.<br/>The dishwasher would not close after we opened it so were unable to use it during our stay,.<br/>The property had an incorrect postcode on the booking site which made us think we were closer to the city centre than we actually were. <br/>It would have been handy to know that the Metro into Newcastle was a 10 min walk away. Instead we took our car and it was very difficult driving in Newcastle city with all the road changes and lack of car parks.






The house is lovely with lots of space. Rooms are very homely with both on sweet and upstairs bathroom having lots of room too with very good showers might I add. Local paper shops just across the road and Asda is even walking distance if you have no transport. Beach is lovely with rentable paddle boards etc. locals are all nice too. Great stay.



The accommodation was lovely, very clean, inside and out. All the facilities we needed where there. The bedrooms again very good, plenty of room and storage, really enjoyed it thanks ?.

Nice house with everything you need. Shop just over road and a really nice restaurant just down the road called sambuca’s.



Never leave bad reviews, as you will see from my previous stays this is the first bad review I’ve ever left and the reason is as follows:<br/><br/>The location is literally miles away from the advertised location.. I purposely booked somewhere (or so I thought) in the city centre of Newcastle, this is due to my partner not driving and me needing to work so it gave my partner some freedom as everything would be central, however, this location is actually about half hour away from the city centre? Advertised as NE7 but is actually NE27… when I queried this I received no helpful answers, the host stated that NE27 was the address advertised yet when I sent them a screenshot of the listing advertising NE7 they simply told me to take it up with AirBnB.<br/><br/>Upon arrival the cutlery is so disgusting and covered in old food, every single knife was actually just covered in rust and required me to buy a new set. <br/><br/>Run out of words but not impressed.. they are a company so don’t use.



Nice and modern. Great living space. Double beds in all bedrooms.
