The cottage was very well equipped and had everything you need for a comfortable stay .
Perfect for the family and dogs, too. Good walks, friendly place.
Everything worked well. No dislikes.
Comfort and facilties
Problem with fridge door
No views
Location excellent for walking and access to local pub. Accommodation top quality ?
Nothing, it was great!
Beautiful surroundings- very peaceful and relaxing with great walks from the front door
Inside the house there were high quality furnishings yet it also very comfortable.
Enjoyed the layout of downstairs -separate sitting room with two double settees. The central heating was adjustable which was good as one day was very cold and wet yet the other warm and sunny.
Both showers didn’t work in the morning so I had to go retro and was my hair under taps in the bath! There was quite a lot of dust and dirt in the kitchen on the table and the cooker when we arrived so needed a good wipe around. There were no coffee pods for the machine and nowhere nearby to buy any. You can only get a few channels on TV. There was no toilet brush in the downstairs toilet. The £10 administration fee on top of the £250 good housekeeping bond was irritating - we just paid the £24 waiver insurance fee as we couldn’t the faff of it all so I guess it’s probably a nice little earner for the management company!
Prachtig ingericht huis, veel ruimte.
Ideaal met 2 stellen. 2 badkamers + tuin.
Aanrader.
This apartment was perfect for us. It is close to shops, restaurants, the train station and the beach, all of which are just a short walk. Inside, everything was very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Great place to stay, very well presented and very clean
Fantastic rural location, very well furnished & fully functional property, clearly no expense spared with furniture, appliances & decor. Excellent beds, so slept vert well. It made my stay all the more special.
Definitely want to return.
The cottage was fantastic, everything you need and more. The views were stunning, the local pub was great with fantastic food. If you want peace and quiet out in the sticks with luxury thrown in this a fab place.
They charge a damage deposit or a waiver fee. There was damage in the cottage and you do worry about who will be blamed for this, so we felt the need to take photos just for our peace of mind. There is 1 piece of furniture in the dining room that just doesn't go with the cottage at all, the furnishings are modern and well presented but the dresser is an eye sore and should be removed and replaced with something that blends better with the other fixtures and fittings.
clean and modern
all the automated emails about damage waiver etc
The location was incredible, so peaceful and beautiful scenery
Chasing my dog round the village as they escaped the garden, not secure fencing
Lovely clean and spacious cottage. Has everything you need.
There was no information about the Wi-Fi password so we had to e-mail the owners.
The Cottage was just perfect for us to enjoy Middlesmoor.
Nothing
Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. The surrounding countryside is amazing & we were lucky to have glorious weather too.
Although the outside was enclosed, our dog could still escape into the adjoining properties.
No plastic cups/plates for children.
Exceptional cottage with everything we needed for a short break.
There was nothing not to like.
We stayed here in March, and had a lovely time, the local pub is great for food, and the walking around Middlesmoor is fantastic, we will definitely be back.
The cottage is just perfect, sitting at the top of the village and on the edge of the moors. Loved the 50 meter stroll to the traditional pub and the star-lit skies were magical. The cottage is beautifully appointed and well-equipped. It was immaculate and exactly what we’d hoped for. There’s such a lot to do in the area. We were impressed with the events and the sights to see. And the scenery. Wow! I’d rebook in a heartbeat.
What a great location- straight out the front door to wonderful walks- the property offers all the facilities for a comfortable stay- one pub a stone throw away where you can meet the locals and another down the road which again does fabulous food ! We went in February- and it blew a few cob webs away which is just what we wanted - came home refreshed- can’t wait to go back again.
Lovely cottage, beautifully appointed. The village is excellent with a friendly pub. Great walks from the front door, beautiful views. Would highly recommend.
