Whether you’re travelling with friends or family, Roslyn House will provide a comfortable base to explore Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales.

Property Details

The Space
Roslyn House has two spacious living rooms where you can unwind during your stay. With comfy and spacious velvet sofas, both living rooms inside the property are lovely places to relax with your loved ones. You’ll also find a flat-screen Smart TV in one of the living rooms so you can keep up with your favourite shows throughout your stay.

The immaculately presented kitchen includes a large oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer and dishwasher so you can cook easily during your stay. The roomy breakfast bar style dining area includes eight bar stools so you can sit back in comfort.

Bright and colourful, the main dining room has a large wooden table where you can socialise and enjoy meals together.

Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find two super-king size bedrooms and a king bedroom, all of which with ensuite bathrooms. Each with their individual colour schemes, all three bedrooms provide tranquil environments to enjoy a blissful night’s sleep.

A separate family bathroom can also be found on the first floor. The space boasts a bathtub, separate walk-in shower, large vanity unit with a wash basin and a WC.

Take the stairs up to the second floor and there are a further two double ensuite bedrooms and a king-size room with an ensuite.

The outdoor space at Roslyn House includes a private, enclosed courtyard, perfect for letting your four-legged friends and little ones stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh North Yorkshire air.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Experience all the charms of rural life in the delightful little town of Pateley Bridge. As the starting point of the Nidderdale Way, it is the perfect place to begin your exploration of the Yorkshire Dales. This circular route covers 53 miles, looping around the stunning scenery of the Nidd Valley, so you can get lost in the landscapes and enjoy an area which is renowned for its floral beauty.

Brimham Rocks, a National Trust site, forms part of the Nidderdale Way. This weird and wonderful collection of shaped giant rocks were created by an immense river 100 million years before the first dinosaurs walked the earth.

With a collection of independent shops and quaint tea shops to enjoy your morning cuppa and a slice of homemade cake, Pateley bridge is a welcoming town with character in abundance. For those with a sweet tooth you can visit the oldest sweet shop in England for your midget gems or lemon sherbets.

For history fans, you can visit the Nidderdale Museum and explore the cobbler’s shop, school room and a collection of relics and artefacts depicting the Yorkshire way of life.

No matter what the season you can enjoy a whole host of things to see and do in this stunning North Yorkshire town.

Getting Around
Getting around the surrounding area is quick and convenient with the towns and villages located so close together. Enjoy the beautiful countryside as you cross valleys, rise up over hills and wind round the country roads.

From Pateley Bridge take the No. 24 bus, known as the ‘Nidderdale Branch’, which takes an idyllic route along the River Nidd into Nidderdale loosely following the old railway line, and stopping in the pretty villages that line the length of the Valley as it turns from rolling hills to steep fells and moorland.

The historic town of Knaresborough and the medieval city of Ripon each have several services an hour to and from Harrogate so no planning is necessary, just catch a bus and go.

The nearest train station to Pateley Bridge is Harrogate, which is approximately 14 miles away. Regular trains to Harrogate are available from either York or Leeds mainline stations.

Free on-street parking is available on a first-come, first served basis on the roads surrounding Roslyn House.

Please note that while the private courtyard is enclosed, the fences are quite low.

Was expensive for what we have paid previously in the past in St Ives - with a better location and maintenance on the house. Had several problems with the hot water, water not draining, damp leakage and washing machine missing. The beautiful decor covers alot of the maintenance issues.

The house was great , loads of space and it was lovely to have so many bathrooms . The host was extremely communicative and everything was as advertised . The house was perfect for a family gathering

Great space to meet up with friends. It was great that every room had an en-suite. Large living rooms and close to nice walks.

This house is such a lovely stay for a group of friends wanting a get together. Having en suite bathrooms in each room was amazing and gave each family a private space. There is also a large communal bathroom, kitchen and great dining area for having meals in which we did every night. <br/>As the listing is new we did find a few teething problems that I have provided private feedback to the host about but we really did enjoy our stay. The main issue was the outdoor space not being usable due to excess rubbish left and not having some basic items in the kitchen which we had to go and buy. Definitely bring your own pans if you are planning on cooking as a big group as the ones in the house are very small and definitely need bigger ones for a group.<br/>Would still 100% recommend this place, the beds and decor are lovely. With us being one of the first guests there were just a few things that felt a bit rushed.

Overall property was good and suited our needs. Had a few issues with showers. The one in the main bathroom just dribbled, in another en suite no hit water from the basin tap. Disappointed that a few amenities such as soap and towel in downstairs loo, tea towel in the kitchen were not provided. The tv was a challenge to us non techie folk! <br>Despite all this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, beds were comfy but could have done with curtains at bedroom windows as come dawn the rooms were full of light. Location was great and Pateley Bridge is a charming town with all the amenities we needed

Beautifully and newly renovated place in central Patley Bridge location. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms in every room which was amazing!
