Travelling by car is simple, with the park located just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and roughly a 25–30 minute drive from York. The A1(M) and A64 provide excellent connections for those arriving from further afield, and each lodge includes free on-site parking for easy access throughout your stay. If you’re travelling by train, York Railway Station offers direct connections to London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From there, taxis and car hire options make reaching the park quick and straightforward. Bus services also run regularly between York and Pocklington, with the final stretch from Pocklington to the park taking only a few minutes by taxi. Guests can explore local highlights such as Pocklington’s independent shops, cafés, and restaurants, or enjoy walks and bike rides through Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve nearby. Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date. Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay. There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times. Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.
