Good location-close to train station, short walk to beach<br/>Large apartment<br/>Tea, coffee etc provided upon arrival<br/>Easy to access building<br/><br/>Stain on carpet (wet) in main living area when we arrived <br/>Hot water nozzle on shower jammed so could only have luke warm shower<br/>Plug wouldn't stay in the bath so unable to have a bath<br/>Communication was very poor, although there were a lot of automated messages regarding checking in and out, I sent multiple emails and messages regarding issues we were having only to be replied to when it is too late.<br/>Yesterday a man knocked on the door claiming to be the owner with another person claiming he wanted to show this other person an empty apartment? My husband did not let them in and surely if you are the owner, you know which Apartments are occupied? <br/>The apartment was also quite dusty, cobwebs up in the corner of the room.

The location is good and the actual apartment is spacious and very light and airy.<br/><br/>The entrance hallway was grubby and unsightly. The beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom has mould around the bath. The wardrobe doors and window blind broken, there were stains on the living room carpet.

Airy and spacious apartment in the centre of Saltburn, near the railway station and very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space in the living room.<br/><br/>The shower wouldn't heat above lukewarm. <br/> <br/>We received several emails emphasizing that guests would be held responsible for any damage, then found (minor!) broken/missing items on arrival. Communication could have been better - any messages resulted in several unnecessary automatic responses, including another warning about damage, before we were answered (politely and helpfully) by a real person.

Absolutely amazing couple of days break away in Saltburn by the sea. Fantastic apartment, great find, very spacious, very clean and perfect location for our 3 days at the beach on what has been the hottest days of the year so far! Great place to relax and lay our heads at the end of a busy day, all slept well and apartment had everything we needed. Will definitely be recommending to friends.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a home away from home. The apartment matched the pictures and description. This is a very beautiful apartment in a serene and calm environment. It's very close to Sainsbury's and within walking distance to Spar and the beach. Easy check-in and check-out. We really had a great stay. We might be back here again later in the year.

The property was fine , however the £25 non refundable security deposit wasn't made clear at the time of booking booking, so its basically a hidden cost of almost an extra 10% , what the justification is on actually not refunding the fee is I'm not sure either

Lovely apartment, central, light and spacious. Only a couple of things - the shower didn't run hot, instead was on the edge between tepid and slightly warm, and kitchen lacked glassware apart from wine glasses. Neither an issue for us staying one night, but on a longer stay maybe could be. Otherwise comfortable, thanks for having us.

The apartment was clean and comfortable had everything you would need the letting company where excellent as well did everything to make your stay the best it can be

It was okay. Disappointed that there were a lack of consumable items available such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, hand soap (in the kitchen), cleaning supplies, salt, pepper, oil. We had to go out and buy most of this stuff when we arrived, not ideal.<br/>We did ask host and stay for some cleaning supplies at least so we could clean the apartment during our stay, which they said they would deliver, but never did. <br/>We also didn’t know it was above a pub that had live music at the weekend and it felt like the live music was in the apartment with us, it was so loud. I’ve seen other reviews mention this so it’s a shame that host and stay haven’t updated the description to pre warn people. It would have been nice to know. <br/>The location is great and Saltburn is lovely. The bed is comfy.

Lovely and spacious. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 kids. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants etc. lovely and quiet<br/><br/>Just a couple of little maintenance issues which absolutely did not affect our stay at all.

had a lovely stay u til sat wve when the band in the pub below started what sounded like an elvis tribute night. We could sing along word for word. it was so loud the floor vibrated and could still hear it in the bedrooms. This was not mentioned in the listing.

The property was spacious, and really lovely decor. It had a Nespresso coffee machine which was just what we needed. There was a high chair for meal time and it was perfectly placed in the centre of saltburn.<br/><br/>On arrival, we had not been issued with the key code to get into the property, which required us to call the host, once we got in the property it was 13.5 degrees, absolutely freezing!!! I had two small children and it took until about midnight for the property to warm up. Then when we eventually went to bed it stunk of sweaty feet / wet dog. It was foul, I contacted the host via booking.com and was assured someone would come and changed the bedding, this did not happen. <br/><br/>The carpet was covered in stains and it did not look like the property had been cleaned properly for a long time. I when to use the hoover and once again was hit with the stench of wet dog. The filtre of the hoover clearly hadn’t ever been cleaned. <br/><br/>The website advertises that the property is above a family friendly pub. Probably worth calling out they have live bands on, which we actually really enjoyed but it was a miracle the kids slept through it.

The location, ease of parking close by to the apartment and access to Saltburn town with its abundance of cafes, restaurants and lovely local shops. The apartment is modern, beautifully furnished making it really pleasant place to relax after a long day walking the local area<br/><br/>The excessive security deposit with admin charge could have swayed me to look at an alternative option

Just the location that’s all nothing else . It was very close to the shops (Sainsbury’s was around the corner which was helpful). Also the train station and the beach was just a stone throw away<br/><br/>Well it was uncomfortable as one of the bedrooms which had a double bed had two of the slats broken and making it uncomfortable to sleep so we had to leave a day earlier. The owner sent a man to check the damage but he turned up without any notice (phone call or txt message) and was going to force his way in when we refused to answer the door because we were not sure who it was. He just took the broken slats and left. I thought he would return to fix it or replace the broken slats but nobody returned. <br/><br/>Also the internet (WiFi) couldn’t reach all the bedrooms even though it was all on a single level. There was enough plates but not enough cutlery. <br/>Under the bed was very dirty full of rubbish like it hasn’t been cleaned . I didn’t intentionally check under the bed but because the mattress kept dropping because of the broken slats , I saw under the bed and wasn’t impressed.

Lovely furnishings in the apartment. Comfortable beds. Apartment in a great location. Extremely quiet- over a pub so I was expecting some noise, but absolute silence at night. Saltburn was so quiet!<br/><br/>The flights of stairs to the loft apartment could provide a challenge to less fit people. I don’t think that this apartment would suit a family with young children. Key safe box was a bit tricky to use.

We had a great time staying in this beautifully presented apartment. Everything appeared just like the photos. Really great location in terms of being walkable into the town or to the beach, parking wasn’t an issue whilst we were there but may get busier in the height of summer. Overall had a great time and would recommend (I’m sure we’ll be back ourselves!).

Carpets need replacing. Pics of 2nd bedroom confusing - one showed 2 twins, another a 1.5 bunk bed; turned out it was a 1.5 bunk bed which is pretty rickety with 2 adults in there...maybe good for kids? Main bed mattress too soft / past it.

I loved the property. I loved the location. We had a lovely stay and the property is great very spacious and the facilities are excellent. Such a shame I couldn't give the property a 10 and all because it was let down by the cleanliness. It wasn't filthy and I would definitely stay again but I would expect better. I don't go away and expect to wipe surfaces down and pick up sweet wrappers left by other guests. That said I would definitely stay again.<br/><br/>The cleanliness

Looks exactly like the photos, is really spacious, light and modern. Apartment was pretty clean overall, considering pets are allowed as well.<br/><br/>Apartment is very central, (a good base/starting point if you want to explore other areas) is near both the beach and the train station which makes it ideal as there is a Sainsbury’s next to the train station as well, takes you around 5 mins or so at the most from the train station to the apartment!<br/><br/>Could do with handwash/soap in the kitchen, the TV signal was a bit hit and miss sometimes but was never a major issue, would’ve been nice to have been given extra toilet roll just in case. It also might be a good idea to include a coat rack/hanger somewhere in the apartment entrance? Wasn’t needed for our stay as much due to the nice weather but might be an idea when it comes to more colder months?

Great place to stay in walking distance of all the best bits Saltburn has to offer. The apartment itself has a lovely large kitchen/lounge, just like the photos. Would recommend.

Fabulous apartment with everything provided, great space to create home from home<br/><br/>Beds were too soft and pillows not comfortable, stairs up to apartment were a struggle for my OAP mother-in-law, some washing powder would have been good but these are minor things that certainly didn't ruin the stay.

the location is great.<br/><br/>This was our third visit to these apartments. last twice was amazing, however standards have slipped. Had to clean the bathroom before use and no welcome pack as previous. Entrance hall grubby, peeling wallpaper and electrics on show, definitely not safe if children staying. Also host and stay used a previous credit card from my previous booking last year, which should not be kept on their system. I emailed about this numerous times and ignored.

Lovely well-appointed apartment. Very central location. Quiet, clean and modern.<br/><br/>The sitting room is on the top floor and is lovely and light and airy but as it has velux windows you can't look out while you are sitting at the dining table or sofa.

The apartment itself was lovely, beautifully decorated throughout and clean. The location was fantastic for exploring Saltburn.<br/><br/>I would have rated our stay very highly, up until our final evening I couldn't fault it. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night over the Coronation weekend with our almost 1 year old daughter. The apartment we stayed in is directly above the Victoria pub, on the Sunday evening there was a live band playing from 9pm-11pm and the music rang through the entire apartment waking my daughter, it was so loud and impossible to sleep through. There really should be some mention of this in the description because it happens every weekend, so it's really not suitable to stay with small children if you're trying to put them to bed. As lovely as the apartment was, if we'd have been aware of this we would have booked somewhere else.

The central location makes it easy to move around the local area. The apartment is light and airy with nice extra touches like a coffee machine and cleaning products .<br/><br/>This property is advertised as NO PETS ALLOWED but on arrival it was clear that this is not the case and dogs are allowed which worked out very badly for us. I had specifically requested a pet free property as my husband has allergies. The bean bag is clearly a 'dog bed' and there were dog hairs on the furniture and carpets. Tv remote has been used as a chew toy. Our stay was uncomfortable as a result. Host and Stay dealt with our complaint poorly- couldn't offer alternative accommodation or a refund.

Location was excellent.<br/><br/>Kitchen tap was faulty and a small fountain. The cleaning staff must have known. It was very difficult to explain to Host and Stay how urgent a plumber was needed. It was fixed a day later. <br/>The beds were lumpy and need new mattress.

The apartment and host & stay were always in contact if needed. The location was great lots of restaurants & shops nearby. Could walk to the seafront and the lovely sea view restaurant which we had booked. Went to Whitby & status which were only 30 minutes away. A very enable stay we will be back. Our first visit to this part of Britain and we lived it.<br/><br/>The weather could have been better but this is the uk.

The apartment was in a super central location and very tastefully decorated. It was the perfect spot for a couple of days by the sea and had everything we needed for our stay. We would consider coming back here if we are ever in the area.<br/><br/>We had to pay a non-refundable £10 fee when paying the security deposit which seemed unreasonable. There was no door mat for shoes which could have been handy as we experienced wet weather one day!

A group of 4 of us stayed there was not enough hot water for us all to get showered in the morning.

The location was central to Saltburn and easy to get to the shops else well as the paths down to the seafront. <br/>The design of apartment C was lovely and spacious. <br/>The property was very clean with modern appliances.<br/><br/>The pub next door played very loud live music until 11.30pm on the Saturday night. We couldn't go to bed until the music had finished. Of course we didn't know when it was going to end. <br/>For the price, a welcome pack would have been nice. Fresh milk, fruit, etc. <br/>A courteous request to have a late check out (as the apartment was not booked for at least a week) was turned down without any negotiation. 10am felt a bit early to check out, especially when you can't check in til 4pm. <br/>WiFi didn't work very well at all and 4G was a lot faster. The router probably needed rebooting to clear the cache. <br/>Didn't expect to have to pay the agent Host & Stay an extra £10 just for them to say the £250 security deposit could be returned. I felt, for the cost of this apartment, this fee should already have been included. I don't like hidden costs.

Easy to find, near to railway station and town centre. Extremely clean, all facilities that could be required. Beautiful decor, comfortable, lots space, quiet. No frying pan and although not huge issue would have been good to have option - would also have been nice if few other essentials available (salt & pepper) No heating on when we arrived and did heat up fairly quickly but was very cold in bedrooms overnight - better second night as heating had been on during day. No lock on bathroom door and living area carpet very stained - we paid damage insurance so assumed others had before us and so should have been cleaned / fixed) Tiles in shower could have been cleaner.

So when we entered we were very pleased. Very modern and spacious. We planned when we were coming again. The carpets have stains on which could have been spot cleaned between bookings. <br/>All good until the band struck up in the pub next door. We could sing along to every word and could feel the vibrations in the living room.<br/>There wasn’t a frying pan. I cooked sausages in a saucepan. £200 for 19 hours. My dad, nearly 80 woke up and couldn’t get out of bed to go to the loo. In the morning when he looked, 2 slats were out of the bed and he’d been in a hole. A pint of milk was left in the fridge. The date was 12th November. Today is the 27th.

great location. very spacious.<br/><br/>felt it missed just a few things. coat rack, we had to hang our coats in out wardrobes. another living area seat would have been better, we each has to take it in turns to sit on the floor in an evening. not sure why there wasn’t a toilet seat lid, a couple of things ended up falling into the toilet due to it not having a lid.

The entrance is very poor with electrical boxes on show which was very unsightly and dangerous with young children. It’s probably worth saying this is the first negative review I’ve posted on here. So I’m not just ‘one of them’ but this stay was genuinely disappointing .<br/><br/>Pros first - <br/>Not a bad location. Saltburn is lovely, the flat is quite central. Easy to access. Though above a pub so some noise.<br/><br/>The flat itself is a good size, well furnished, pleasant decor.<br/><br/>Negatives outweighed these though unfortunately -<br/>Just not clean enough. Very obvious dusting of crumbs, food debris and sand on the kitchen floor - we had to sweep this up. Stained carpets - these looked recent and like something that could have been cleaned, but hadn’t been. Food debris on dining table. Cutlery and cups had to be washed before use. Stray hairs in bedroom. <br/><br/>They had forgotten to put a duvet cover on one of the double beds ! Duvet was stained in a very unpleasant looking way. Even one 10 year old guest asked if someone had ‘had a period on it’ ! We drew our hosts attention to this via email (granted outside office hours) and were told nothing could be done. Everything! There was nothing not to like!<br/>Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and sitting room. Great shower room. Spacious and airy. Duel aspect windows in sitting room. Big tv although we didnt need it as it was within easy walking distance of a good selection of lovely bars pubs and eateries.<br/><br/>We will certainly book again.<br/><br/>Just the windows were sometimes a bit difficult to open.<br/><br/>There were a few stairs but not a problem for us.

It was without breakfast. We bought our own stuff.<br/><br/>The Wi-Fi was weak... couldn’t used at the bedrooms. <br/>Even at the living room, stop working a few times. On the zoom, freezes many times. I need to give up. Asked for help nobody came, nor even call me back with an answer. Sad really.

Very clean, very comfortable, was very well equipped and had bars, shops, restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Easy to get parked outside too which is always a bonus.<br/><br/>Only downside was (very) loud roadworks right outside the property which started early both mornings but which is totally out with the control of the owners and still didn’t spoil our stay in any way.

Good location for Saltburn attractions<br/><br/>Advertised as free parking, which is actually on street parking with no guarantee of space in this busy residential area. It feels wrong to be told we can park in front of other people's houses. We should not be a nuisance to people who live there. <br/> <br/>Steps. 39 steep and narrow steps up to apartment. Should be clear there is no lift, for those who have mobility issues. Would not like to try and get a buggy up there either. <br/> <br/>Beds and bedding were cheap and uncomfortable. So much so we came home a night early. Main bed was also broken. Let the apartment down. <br/> <br/>Advertised as having a view. We were in apartment c, whose living space is in the loft. Although light and ventilation via velux windows, there was absolutely no view. A little disappointed.

A bright modern flat in a great location. Easy to check in and great communication. The flat could have been more thoroughly cleaned which was our only issue during our stay.

This apartment is perfect. The location could not be any better and the apartment is amazing and one of the best apartments I have stayed in. I was concerned with the damp and gas meter I read on the reviews, thinking it might an entrance on the back, going through a dark dingy alley to get to entrance but it couldn't be further from the truth. Entrance is on the main road and you collect the key from the keysafe. As you walk in there are meters on the right for the apartment, did it bother me? Not 1 bit. I'm there to enjoy the town, the beach the apartment, why would I focus on the entrance that I will spend less than 10 seconds in?<br/><br/>This place is amazing. I have already looked at booking it again next holidays.<br/><br/>This place is perfect. I can nit pick and look for faults or what could be better, but then I should do that for my own house first!

The bunk beds were very badly made, shaky and unstable! not suitable or safe for two teenagers. All the mattresses were were soft and lumpy. The dishes were all unclean and needed to be washed before use. The rugs had not been put back after an attempt at cleaning therefore we had to arrange them on arrival. The internet was too unstable for use. Very disappointing.

It’s a great place to stay when you’re in the area. Very spacious, modern style, clean and professionally managed. Distance to the beach is around 10 minutes, going down. So returning you need to climb up some steps, but shouldn’t be any issue if you’re healthy. There are sainsbury, bakery, etc nearby and pubs are just around the corner. We’ll definitely come back to stay here if we ever visited the area again.

Having read through reviews right back to last year, all reviews mention "lack of mirrors" Do you not read the reviews? Are reviews not passed on to the owners? I'm pretty disappointed nothing has been done, especially after a YEAR of guests saying this is an issue!

Great apartment located in the centre of town. Exceptionally clean, with a spacious bathroom and kitchen area. Bed is super comfortable and the place needs for nothing. The pier is only yards away as well as the shops. Will definitely stay again.<br/><br/>Nowt

More info on heating controls and how to turn it up or a portable fan heater would have helped.

Thought the toiletries and towels were poor quality for the price

The apartment was super nice and and comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed. It was cleaned to a high standard and felt like a home from home.<br/><br/>The double bed could be improved, as the bed is very soft which was ok for one of us but he other needs firmer and the slabs underneath kept falling out through the night so was woken up at different points through the night.

(Would have been good to know)<br/><br/>Nothing disliked. Helpful suggestions: a second key to front door. Full length mirror upstairs or one in each bedroom. Soap holder and cleaning rubber blade in the shower. Scissors, bread knife, oven gloves and second teatowel in kitchen. If 4 people more pans and a larger frying pan would be needed.

Beautiful apartment , spotlessly clean and a high standard of decoration. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and cafes. Easy walk to the cliff top , and steps down to the beach.<br/><br/>The bedrooms were lovely, minimalist in design, had hairdryers, but no mirror...only mirror was in the small shower room, not suitable for electrical appliances. And a small wall mirror in the lounge, wasn’t really suitable <br/>Only small problems, the freezer was iced up , and we couldn’t use it. The remote for the tv didn’t work, we bought some batteries, and then it was ok . Just little things, but didn’t spoil our stay..

The location is superb, town centre and seafront on your doorstep. Easy to explore the local area by car from this base. <br/>Apartment very spacious and comfortable with all mod cons. <br/>Perfect for self catering but also plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants very close by.<br/><br/>Entrance hall to the apartment block is shabby and unclean, gives a very poor first impression. <br/>Although fine for us being relatively fit, stairs are very steep up to the apartment and then the apartment itself is on two floors with bedrooms/bathroom up yet more stairs. <br/>Lacks a few fine details, such as mirrors in the bedrooms and a loo roll holder in the bathroom

Beautifully presented spacious apartment which is perfectly situated for exploring Saltburn.<br/><br/>Wouldn’t be suitable for somebody who struggled with lots of steps as it’s on the top floor but then I would say the same about Saltburn as a whole due to the steep incline down to the beach.

What a wonderful stay in such a fantastic location. A very short walk to the beach (easily managed by young children). Situated on a quiet road with free on street parking. Great amenities: church fish and chips, Thai and brilliant pork pies from the bakery around the corner. The children loved the bunk beds. The apartment was beautiful clean and was so easy to check in and out of. We had such a great holiday. Thank you.

My wife, daughter and grand kids stayed here for three nights. Expertly managed by "Stay" this self catering flat offers everything you (eg a family or two couples) need for a great stay in Saltburn. We were all very impressed with the flat, the luxurious furniture and beds, bedding, towels, fixtures, fittings, appliances, kitchen utensils, crockery, glasses, TV complete with Netflix, great WiFi etc etc; everything's been thought of including the supply of cleaning stuff, toilet paper, kitchen towel etc. There's a Nespresso maker (with capsules supplied), a cafetiere, dish washer and a washing machine with dryer. Shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, bistros, curry house etc are close by, yet we still found it to be a very quiet location. On street parking is right outside and proved useful for leaving stuff in that you may need when you go out, but don't need in the flat. All in all, everything you need for a great, relaxing and enjoyable stay.
