Good location-close to train station, short walk to beach<br/>Large apartment<br/>Tea, coffee etc provided upon arrival<br/>Easy to access building<br/><br/>Stain on carpet (wet) in main living area when we arrived <br/>Hot water nozzle on shower jammed so could only have luke warm shower<br/>Plug wouldn't stay in the bath so unable to have a bath<br/>Communication was very poor, although there were a lot of automated messages regarding checking in and out, I sent multiple emails and messages regarding issues we were having only to be replied to when it is too late.<br/>Yesterday a man knocked on the door claiming to be the owner with another person claiming he wanted to show this other person an empty apartment? My husband did not let them in and surely if you are the owner, you know which Apartments are occupied? <br/>The apartment was also quite dusty, cobwebs up in the corner of the room.

The location is good and the actual apartment is spacious and very light and airy.<br/><br/>The entrance hallway was grubby and unsightly. The beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom has mould around the bath. The wardrobe doors and window blind broken, there were stains on the living room carpet.

Airy and spacious apartment in the centre of Saltburn, near the railway station and very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space in the living room.<br/><br/>The shower wouldn't heat above lukewarm. <br/> <br/>We received several emails emphasizing that guests would be held responsible for any damage, then found (minor!) broken/missing items on arrival. Communication could have been better - any messages resulted in several unnecessary automatic responses, including another warning about damage, before we were answered (politely and helpfully) by a real person.

Location Property was perfect for us as two couples. Very comfortable<br/><br/>A few stained sheets. Broken lock in bathroom door. A few places it wasn’t as clean as it could be.

Great clean apartment, only thing is 4 flights of stair to get to apartment and 1 flight of stairs in apartment to bedrooms, may be hard for some people to climb

The property was fine , however the £25 non refundable security deposit wasn't made clear at the time of booking booking, so its basically a hidden cost of almost an extra 10% , what the justification is on actually not refunding the fee is I'm not sure either

A great place to stay for a seaside break in Saltburn. The flat is a short walk from the seafront and very spacious. A lovely place to stay, especially with two toddlers, the large living room was a great space for them to play. The whole flat felt very roomy, light and comfortable. <br/>We had a lovely long weekend staying here!<br/>Thankyou ?

Location, size of property, parking, cleanliness and price.<br/><br/>First impressions in the hallway of the property were a bit misleading. Once upstairs and inside the apartment I was more than pleased with this property.

Apartment is spacious and just as in photos. There are a lot of stairs up to apartment! It is quite well equipped but some things are in need of replacement. There was no oven glove or mattress protectors or coat hooks provided. The pans are small which proved tricky when cooking for a family of four. On Saturday night the pub below had a band on which was very loud. It didn’t bother us as we were staying from Wednesday to Monday but think it could be annoying if visiting for a quiet weekend away! Overall it’s a lovely apartment in a great location.

Lots of steep stairs. <br/>Apartment nice, clean and tidy (apart from shower), lots of light. Excellent location to explore Saltburn. No essentials provided that should have been. Broken and unsafe highchair - no straps, broken tray.<br/>Bedrooms comfortable with big beds. No mattress protector and no fitted sheet meaning the sheet constantly came off so ended up laying on bare matrress.<br/>Apartment is above a pub but not stated in listing. Live music meant the whole apartment was taken over by extreme noise. Furniture and pictures on the wall were vibrating, could hear every word. Would not have booked if I had known this. Should be stated in the listing as it ruined the night and following day.<br/>Communication over the top and pretty bizarre. Appeared to be a bot replying or using ChatGPT. Very frustrating as often didn't make sense.

The property was spacious, and really lovely decor. It had a Nespresso coffee machine which was just what we needed. There was a high chair for meal time and it was perfectly placed in the centre of saltburn.<br/><br/>On arrival, we had not been issued with the key code to get into the property, which required us to call the host, once we got in the property it was 13.5 degrees, absolutely freezing!!! I had two small children and it took until about midnight for the property to warm up. Then when we eventually went to bed it stunk of sweaty feet / wet dog. It was foul, I contacted the host via booking.com and was assured someone would come and changed the bedding, this did not happen. <br/><br/>The carpet was covered in stains and it did not look like the property had been cleaned properly for a long time. I when to use the hoover and once again was hit with the stench of wet dog. The filtre of the hoover clearly hadn’t ever been cleaned. <br/><br/>The website advertises that the property is above a family friendly pub. Probably worth calling out they have live bands on, which we actually really enjoyed but it was a miracle the kids slept through it.

The location, ease of parking close by to the apartment and access to Saltburn town with its abundance of cafes, restaurants and lovely local shops. The apartment is modern, beautifully furnished making it really pleasant place to relax after a long day walking the local area<br/><br/>The excessive security deposit with admin charge could have swayed me to look at an alternative option

Just the location that’s all nothing else . It was very close to the shops (Sainsbury’s was around the corner which was helpful). Also the train station and the beach was just a stone throw away<br/><br/>Well it was uncomfortable as one of the bedrooms which had a double bed had two of the slats broken and making it uncomfortable to sleep so we had to leave a day earlier. The owner sent a man to check the damage but he turned up without any notice (phone call or txt message) and was going to force his way in when we refused to answer the door because we were not sure who it was. He just took the broken slats and left. I thought he would return to fix it or replace the broken slats but nobody returned. <br/><br/>Also the internet (WiFi) couldn’t reach all the bedrooms even though it was all on a single level. There was enough plates but not enough cutlery. <br/>Under the bed was very dirty full of rubbish like it hasn’t been cleaned . I didn’t intentionally check under the bed but because the mattress kept dropping because of the broken slats , I saw under the bed and wasn’t impressed.

Lovely furnishings in the apartment. Comfortable beds. Apartment in a great location. Extremely quiet- over a pub so I was expecting some noise, but absolute silence at night. Saltburn was so quiet!<br/><br/>The flights of stairs to the loft apartment could provide a challenge to less fit people. I don’t think that this apartment would suit a family with young children. Key safe box was a bit tricky to use.

Carpets need replacing. Pics of 2nd bedroom confusing - one showed 2 twins, another a 1.5 bunk bed; turned out it was a 1.5 bunk bed which is pretty rickety with 2 adults in there...maybe good for kids? Main bed mattress too soft / past it.

We stayed at Apartment B, Cornerhouse Apartments in Saltburn for 3 nights. The location was good for what we needed. The apartment is certainly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as you have to go up 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment. On the whole it was ok but things were starting to look tired in parts. The bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedrooms were fairly clean but missing attention to detail. For example, there were bird droppings on the inside of the bathroom window, a high level of dust on the beams, no soap was left for the hand basin. The table and chairs in the living area were past their best and needed replacing ideally. That said for what we needed it was fine but we didn't spend much time there, I wouldn't recommend for more than 2 nights (and really it's more suitable to 2 people given the small bathroom) for the price you would find better. Communication from Host & Stay was v.good but be mindful of the sneaky deposit!

Fab place to stay , lovely apartment. Its above a pub so beware Saturday night it can be noisy. It didn’t bother us . Apartment could do with some hanging hooks for coats and in the bathroom to hang towels other than that it was a perfect place to stay .

I loved the property. I loved the location. We had a lovely stay and the property is great very spacious and the facilities are excellent. Such a shame I couldn't give the property a 10 and all because it was let down by the cleanliness. It wasn't filthy and I would definitely stay again but I would expect better. I don't go away and expect to wipe surfaces down and pick up sweet wrappers left by other guests. That said I would definitely stay again.<br/><br/>The cleanliness

Looks exactly like the photos, is really spacious, light and modern. Apartment was pretty clean overall, considering pets are allowed as well.<br/><br/>Apartment is very central, (a good base/starting point if you want to explore other areas) is near both the beach and the train station which makes it ideal as there is a Sainsbury’s next to the train station as well, takes you around 5 mins or so at the most from the train station to the apartment!<br/><br/>Could do with handwash/soap in the kitchen, the TV signal was a bit hit and miss sometimes but was never a major issue, would’ve been nice to have been given extra toilet roll just in case. It also might be a good idea to include a coat rack/hanger somewhere in the apartment entrance? Wasn’t needed for our stay as much due to the nice weather but might be an idea when it comes to more colder months?

Host & Stay team were helpful throughout with clear instructions all the way. The apartment was spacious, clean and had a good style about it, as well as comfortable beds!<br/>Central and east location within Saltburn. Dog friendly too, and is situated near the top entrance to the woods that lead down to the beach front. Ideal for doggy toilet times. <br/>Would recommend!

Wanted to take the kids away for a couple of days. I had two of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. Very comfortable beds and furniture. <br/>Very close to the beach and pier.<br/>I would say that the surrounding area was a lot quieter with not a lot for the kids to do or see but an enjoyable trip nonetheless.

the location is great.<br/><br/>This was our third visit to these apartments. last twice was amazing, however standards have slipped. Had to clean the bathroom before use and no welcome pack as previous. Entrance hall grubby, peeling wallpaper and electrics on show, definitely not safe if children staying. Also host and stay used a previous credit card from my previous booking last year, which should not be kept on their system. I emailed about this numerous times and ignored.

Lovely well-appointed apartment. Very central location. Quiet, clean and modern.<br/><br/>The sitting room is on the top floor and is lovely and light and airy but as it has velux windows you can't look out while you are sitting at the dining table or sofa.

The apartment itself was lovely, beautifully decorated throughout and clean. The location was fantastic for exploring Saltburn.<br/><br/>I would have rated our stay very highly, up until our final evening I couldn't fault it. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night over the Coronation weekend with our almost 1 year old daughter. The apartment we stayed in is directly above the Victoria pub, on the Sunday evening there was a live band playing from 9pm-11pm and the music rang through the entire apartment waking my daughter, it was so loud and impossible to sleep through. There really should be some mention of this in the description because it happens every weekend, so it's really not suitable to stay with small children if you're trying to put them to bed. As lovely as the apartment was, if we'd have been aware of this we would have booked somewhere else.

The central location makes it easy to move around the local area. The apartment is light and airy with nice extra touches like a coffee machine and cleaning products .<br/><br/>This property is advertised as NO PETS ALLOWED but on arrival it was clear that this is not the case and dogs are allowed which worked out very badly for us. I had specifically requested a pet free property as my husband has allergies. The bean bag is clearly a 'dog bed' and there were dog hairs on the furniture and carpets. Tv remote has been used as a chew toy. Our stay was uncomfortable as a result. Host and Stay dealt with our complaint poorly- couldn't offer alternative accommodation or a refund.

Lovely flat in a great location - just minutes from the beach in one direction, and loads of cafes and shops in the other direction. Perfect for a little weekend away :)

Location was excellent.<br/><br/>Kitchen tap was faulty and a small fountain. The cleaning staff must have known. It was very difficult to explain to Host and Stay how urgent a plumber was needed. It was fixed a day later. <br/>The beds were lumpy and need new mattress.

The apartment and host & stay were always in contact if needed. The location was great lots of restaurants & shops nearby. Could walk to the seafront and the lovely sea view restaurant which we had booked. Went to Whitby & status which were only 30 minutes away. A very enable stay we will be back. Our first visit to this part of Britain and we lived it.<br/><br/>The weather could have been better but this is the uk.

The apartment was in a super central location and very tastefully decorated. It was the perfect spot for a couple of days by the sea and had everything we needed for our stay. We would consider coming back here if we are ever in the area.<br/><br/>We had to pay a non-refundable £10 fee when paying the security deposit which seemed unreasonable. There was no door mat for shoes which could have been handy as we experienced wet weather one day!

The location was central to Saltburn and easy to get to the shops else well as the paths down to the seafront. <br/>The design of apartment C was lovely and spacious. <br/>The property was very clean with modern appliances.<br/><br/>The pub next door played very loud live music until 11.30pm on the Saturday night. We couldn't go to bed until the music had finished. Of course we didn't know when it was going to end. <br/>For the price, a welcome pack would have been nice. Fresh milk, fruit, etc. <br/>A courteous request to have a late check out (as the apartment was not booked for at least a week) was turned down without any negotiation. 10am felt a bit early to check out, especially when you can't check in til 4pm. <br/>WiFi didn't work very well at all and 4G was a lot faster. The router probably needed rebooting to clear the cache. <br/>Didn't expect to have to pay the agent Host & Stay an extra £10 just for them to say the £250 security deposit could be returned. I felt, for the cost of this apartment, this fee should already have been included. I don't like hidden costs.

Spacious, well equipped, clean and within 5 minutes walk of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. It worked perfectly for our party of 4 adults. <br>We were prepared for the stairs up to the second floor so considered it as training! <br>We had lots of kit for walking, running and swimming, so shelves/ drawers in the bedrooms wouldn’t have gone amiss and a few hooks for towels/coats would have been useful but there was plenty of floor space for all our stuff.<br>Saltburn is a lovely little town with great facilities, a beautiful beach and lovely walks on the doorstep. We'll definitely be back and would happily stay at this apartment again.

The flat is beautifully presented, clean & well equipped.<br/><br/>The flat is directly above a pub which had live music on the Saturday night that could be heard loudly throughout the flat. The other nights were quiet though and the music was only 9-11pm.

No frying pan and although not huge issue would have been good to have option - would also have been nice if few other essentials available (salt & pepper) No heating on when we arrived and did heat up fairly quickly but was very cold in bedrooms overnight - better second night as heating had been on during day. No lock on bathroom door and living area carpet very stained - we paid damage insurance so assumed others had before us and so should have been cleaned / fixed) Tiles in shower could have been cleaner.

Everything! There was nothing not to like!<br/>Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and sitting room. Great shower room. Spacious and airy. Duel aspect windows in sitting room. Big tv although we didnt need it as it was within easy walking distance of a good selection of lovely bars pubs and eateries.<br/><br/>We will certainly book again.<br/><br/>Just the windows were sometimes a bit difficult to open.<br/><br/>There were a few stairs but not a problem for us.

It was without breakfast. We bought our own stuff.<br/><br/>The Wi-Fi was weak... couldn’t used at the bedrooms. <br/>Even at the living room, stop working a few times. On the zoom, freezes many times. I need to give up. Asked for help nobody came, nor even call me back with an answer. Sad really.

Very clean, very comfortable, was very well equipped and had bars, shops, restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Easy to get parked outside too which is always a bonus.<br/><br/>Only downside was (very) loud roadworks right outside the property which started early both mornings but which is totally out with the control of the owners and still didn’t spoil our stay in any way.

Good location for Saltburn attractions<br/><br/>Advertised as free parking, which is actually on street parking with no guarantee of space in this busy residential area. It feels wrong to be told we can park in front of other people's houses. We should not be a nuisance to people who live there. <br/> <br/>Steps. 39 steep and narrow steps up to apartment. Should be clear there is no lift, for those who have mobility issues. Would not like to try and get a buggy up there either. <br/> <br/>Beds and bedding were cheap and uncomfortable. So much so we came home a night early. Main bed was also broken. Let the apartment down. <br/> <br/>Advertised as having a view. We were in apartment c, whose living space is in the loft. Although light and ventilation via velux windows, there was absolutely no view. A little disappointed.

This apartment is perfect. The location could not be any better and the apartment is amazing and one of the best apartments I have stayed in. I was concerned with the damp and gas meter I read on the reviews, thinking it might an entrance on the back, going through a dark dingy alley to get to entrance but it couldn't be further from the truth. Entrance is on the main road and you collect the key from the keysafe. As you walk in there are meters on the right for the apartment, did it bother me? Not 1 bit. I'm there to enjoy the town, the beach the apartment, why would I focus on the entrance that I will spend less than 10 seconds in?<br/><br/>This place is amazing. I have already looked at booking it again next holidays.<br/><br/>This place is perfect. I can nit pick and look for faults or what could be better, but then I should do that for my own house first!

This is a well located stylish apartment. The furniture is is comfy and modern. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms have lovely wooden beams and you can peak out the windows and we saw lovely night views. The downsides were the cleanliness, it was disappointing at a £60 charge for the cleaning, in particular dirty crockery and grubby kitchen cupboards. The apartment lacked things that were needed, spare bedding - sheets, duvets, blankets etc and a lack of kitchen items such as... only 2 glasses! Best bit - location.

The bunk beds were very badly made, shaky and unstable! not suitable or safe for two teenagers. All the mattresses were were soft and lumpy. The dishes were all unclean and needed to be washed before use. The rugs had not been put back after an attempt at cleaning therefore we had to arrange them on arrival. The internet was too unstable for use. Very disappointing.

Fantastic location and beautiful apartment. Everything we needed for a short stay on the coast! We really loved Saltburn by the sea.<br/><br/>We self catered and love to cook so a little more kitchen equipment would have been useful, but we managed fine as all the basics were provided.

Lovely and clean well equipped apartment, location ideal. Ate at the sea view restaurant for lunch and dinner, fantastic! Definitely recommend this one to try! Also Brockley Hall for dinner is just as good if you're looking for somewhere nice to eat.<br/><br/>No mirrors in the bedrooms to do hair and make up. Having read through reviews right back to last year, all reviews mention "lack of mirrors" Do you not read the reviews? Are reviews not passed on to the owners? I'm pretty disappointed nothing has been done, especially after a YEAR of guests saying this is an issue!

Great apartment located in the centre of town. Exceptionally clean, with a spacious bathroom and kitchen area. Bed is super comfortable and the place needs for nothing. The pier is only yards away as well as the shops. Will definitely stay again.<br/><br/>Nowt

Good town and location , very good decorations and lovely space and well resourced.<br/>In October it was very quiet.<br/>In the summer this property would be lovely.<br/><br/>It would have been excellent if the central heating had been working when it was 12 degrees and cold. More info on heating controls and how to turn it up or a portable fan heater would have helped.

Thought the toiletries and towels were poor quality for the price

The apartment was super nice and and comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed. It was cleaned to a high standard and felt like a home from home.<br/><br/>The double bed could be improved, as the bed is very soft which was ok for one of us but he other needs firmer and the slabs underneath kept falling out through the night so was woken up at different points through the night.

Povision of toilet rolls and cleaning products. <br/>Washing machine and drying rack. Provision of tea, coffee, milk a bonus and not expected. (Would have been good to know)<br/><br/>Nothing disliked. Helpful suggestions: a second key to front door. Full length mirror upstairs or one in each bedroom. Soap holder and cleaning rubber blade in the shower. Scissors, bread knife, oven gloves and second teatowel in kitchen. If 4 people more pans and a larger frying pan would be needed.

Beautiful apartment , spotlessly clean and a high standard of decoration. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and cafes. Easy walk to the cliff top , and steps down to the beach.<br/><br/>The bedrooms were lovely, minimalist in design, had hairdryers, but no mirror...only mirror was in the small shower room, not suitable for electrical appliances. And a small wall mirror in the lounge, wasn’t really suitable <br/>Only small problems, the freezer was iced up , and we couldn’t use it. The remote for the tv didn’t work, we bought some batteries, and then it was ok . Just little things, but didn’t spoil our stay..

Beautifully presented spacious apartment which is perfectly situated for exploring Saltburn.<br/><br/>Wouldn’t be suitable for somebody who struggled with lots of steps as it’s on the top floor but then I would say the same about Saltburn as a whole due to the steep incline down to the beach.

The flat is beautiful and perfectly located. The area is quiet but super central. We loved the big living room with the dual aspect windows and such beautiful furniture. We loved the beach and the gardens. We recommend Saltburn. Definitely one of our favourite beaches.

Lots of positives for this lovely apartment but a few things to be aware of:<br/> - Perfect location, central for the beach and town! <br/>- Beautiful lounge area, so much light and space :) <br/>- Great looking apartment - modern, sleek and clean. <br/>- Welcome additions such as milk in the fridge so you can have a cup of tea on arrival! As well as bathroom amenities which was a lovely touch. <br/>- Great customer service if needed - Stay contacted us to make sure we had everything we needed so I mentioned lack of dishwasher tablets and no coffee pods. This was rectified, albeit took over a day but that was miscommunication between them and the cleaning staff. Stay staff were attentive and polite 5*! <br/><br/>Things to consider:<br/>- No mention in description about the bedrooms and bathrooms being on an upper floor - I am pregnant so after walking around hilly Saltburn and then up flights of stairs to the apartment, my legs had just about had it going up and down these during our stay. <br/>- Missing some small convenient set ups:<br/>* Lack of mirrors - only a mirror cabinet in the small compact bathroom and one small mirror in lounge hung at a height where I could only see half my face. Would be great to have a full length and a more assessable mirror for makeup and hair styling (no plug near lounge mirror). <br/>* No hanging hooks so no where to put coats etc. - Aware this is very minor but we ended up with coats living on the kitchen chairs as we had no where else to put them. <br/>* Kitchen generally well stocked but there were a couple of times I noted not having what I needed such as a pair of scissors. Again aware very minor but just annoyances when you can't open something but easily rectified. <br/><br/>All in all, this is a great apartment if you get a good price. We paid premium being post covid and I think my expectations were just a tad too high so it just missed the mark on the small things which can make a big difference when they all add up. Regardless of where you stay, Saltburn is a delightful town, full of lovely people and dog friendly (only small area of the beach with restrictions which is clearly marked). We rarely say we will return to a location but I am very tempted by Saltburn because it was a little seaside haven. Highly recommend Coco & Rum restaurant - we had takeaway from here twice in 4 days!

Beautiful apartment - really nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed (including a pint of milk for cup of tea on arrival)! Spotlessly clean, easy to find and park too. Hadn't appreciated from photos that the apartment was split over two levels but that made it even better. Lovely location within a few minutes walk of cafes, bars and the sea. Couldn't be better really! Highly recommended

What a really lovely apartment, super clean and stylish, with beautiful light coming through the large windows in the living room. It was bigger than expected with lots of space. We had a great stay and would really recommend Saltburn as a place to visit. Lots to do, slow pace of life, nice independent shops, great beach. Go visit!

Returned today from a one night stay with my husband and daughter in this gorgeous apartment. On entering the apartment,we were very impressed with everything about it. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has all the things you need for a self catering stay(we were left milk in the fridge,which was a nice touch) The whole place has a lovely modern,spacious feel to it and has obviously had a lot of thought put into the decor and design.We were lucky with the weather and so were out for most of the day but it was lovely to come back after our meal out and relax in such lovely surroundings.The beds were lovely and comfy and we enjoyed a great sleep-one little thing that could be improved in the bedroom,would be to have a mirror as it was a little tricky to do your hair without one. The apartment is in a great position for everything that lovely Saltburn has to offer and if we need accommodation in the future we would definitely return.

Super apartment! Spotless, stylish and quiet... and we all slept well in the very comfortable beds. The shower was great too. Only wish we could have stayed longer! We had a wonderful day on Saltburn beach... highly recommend to anyone looking for a family coastal break and we'll return when we can :-)

We had a great time in the apartment at Saltburn. The apartment is very stylish with all the facilities we needed. Finding a Nespresso coffee maker with pods and a pint of milk on arrival was lovely. There was also teabags, coffee and sugar and plenty of toilet rolls.<br/>Beds are comfortable and it was very quiet at night for a good night's sleep. <br/>We didn't actually cook whilst we were there, preferring to eat out at the lovely cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk, but there seemed to be ample pots, pans and cooking utensils (all of which looked new) if you are cooking.<br/>All in all we had an extremely pleasant stay in Saltburn and hope to return!
