Generally facilities were very comfortable and clean inside the flat

Normal Tv didn’t work, no towel rails, no ice box in the fridge, entrance poor state

Could see the sea
well equipped kitchen& all areas
quiet
convenient for all amenities
comfortable bed and clean throughout
Super heater. Was never cold even though the weather turned cool.
Little extras left around eg shampoo

Needed a long mirror
Needed a hook on bathroom door
Bathroom sink needs to be 6 inches lower or
a small stool to stand on
balcony only cosmetic
Needs a new front door OR a new letter box
as it's stuck open
Power cut one evening about 9.30pm so had
to go to bed early. Unfortunate but it came on about 2am, so disturbed sleep.
Top stairs very narrow

Pleased with the stay overall. The communal area did not set a good first impression and i would be keen to see better locks on the flat front door - Especially as the main front door did not look massively secure.

Although only one small window in the bedroom has a view of the sea, this window is oriented well, and you can see the sunrise over the sea directly from the window in the morning. The room is large, clean and cosy. Because I'm afraid of the cold, I'm happy with the whole-room heating feature of this house.

The address marked on Google Maps is wrong, and I have not found it for a long time. Calls to the host were not answered, and no calls were returned. The host needs to update its location on Google Maps.

The property was amazing , newly renovated and very clean , near everything , ideal position

The flat as u come in needed , freshening up new carpet , it wasn’t emarald hideaways fault the flats down below needed to do something

Great property and amazing location

Lovely touches like fine crockery, tea pot, quality linens - well equipped. Quiet house and location. Sadly, because it’s in the roof space, windows are too high for a good view of the sea! Annoying that I paid the deposit and only after was told it is ‘optional’. Information is inaccurate and the response of the company to my messages was ‘gushy’ but ineffective. There is no washer or dryer despite these being listed - and I made my choice based on the listing. Otherwise, the place is lovely- just the ‘host’ not in the spirit of Air bnb.

The apartment was very clean and looked just like the photos. Kitchen was nice and everything worked well. Heating worked well. We'll set out and sofa was comfortable. Good location very central. Would go back again if they put a new mattress on. It met my expectations but has room for improvement

The bed was 2 pushed together and seen some action the mattress made noises as you moved. You could hear the springs .Entrance hall had damp and wall paper coming off the wall and dirty carpet. The shower wasn't thermostatic and not very good. Put the TV on Netflix on Saturday and it told me there was too many people watching it but I could subscribe for another £3. Don't think so?

Just come back from a 3 night stay at the Emerald Hideaway over the New Year weekend . The apartment was clean , warm , fresh and well equipped for all our needs . The decor was modern and it was nice to have a coffee machine as well as other teas , coffee and milk. plus the shampoo and other lotions in the bathroom . Plus only a 5 minute walk to the shops , pubs and beach . Will book again in the future.
Don't let the communal hallway on entering put you off . It just needs a touch of paint and a new carpet then I'd say would be perfect .

Communal Hallway needs sorting

Clean, decent apartment with most of what you'd need for a week stay

Unclear instructions as to the location - hard to find, google maps shows the wrong building. Photo of actual entrance attached below, it is house 52, and you are flat C on the top floor.

Hidden costs around a security deposit (£25 for an insurance policy or a refundable £500 deposit) this is hidden in the apartment listing.

No freezer.

5 star

Apartment itself was clean and WiFi was good

Be advised, this host will want a £250 damage deposit fee on your credit card, then a £10 (ADMIN FEE), just to give you the entrance codes, in still waiting for my £250 back 9 days later, Access up to the apartment on 2nd floor is up filthy stairs covered in dog hairs, wallpaper hanging off and dog in 1st floor apartment and it stinks.. A proper crack den.. Not been hoovered in ages... I'm still staying in this area for work but I won't be using this place again, not for me these high fees and crack den staircase.

Absolutely amazing location. Quick walk down to the beach and pier, equally short walk into town for supermarket, trains, buses.
The apartment itself is well decorated, clean and tidy.
Saltburn beach is very under rated, long with soft sand.

Parking can be a little chaotic, but there is plenty within a short walk.
Very minor point, the entrance to the main building is a little shabby.

Nothing

Enforced damage waiver insurance, front door insecure, dirty stairway, small dirty stairs a trip/fall risk, multiple fire risks - no fire extinguishers or fire blankets, poor quality mattress, no welcoming note, dirty chipped cups, no sea view from settee or bed, balcony in kitchen unusable and no view,

Really enjoyed our stay.

The property was clean, modern and comfortable. Great location near the sea front and also close to the town centre.

Need a towel rail in the bathroom. A scourer for washing up. A blind or curtain for the living room.

Location

Scruffy/dirty front yard, dirty stairwell.

A great location, comfortable stay and easy to access.

The entrance is a bit dated and can be off putting.

Flat was more or less as described. However, bed was quite uncomfortable (two single mattresses not a double), and location isn’t as per instructions - luckily a neighbour came out and directed us to the correct property (it’s one of the period properties on the street, not the newer- build block that the directions suggest. As per other reviews, entrance hall is very dilapidated - very dirty and a bit damp. Flat itself was basic but ok for a short stay.

Apartment were comfortable, clean and perfectly located. Lovely to see the beach from the windows. Kitchen well equipped and clean. I really liked the decor of the bathroom. Easy to find free parking close to apartment. A perfect birthday break

The flat is clean ,modern and comfortable. But the building , garden , front door , hallways and stairs are very scruffy , damp and run down. Very offputting. I had no hot water for most of my stay ; other reviewers have had this problem before.

I booked through host and stay. Never again. Their systems are over complicated , I received 18 emails during the process and they are hopeless at resolving problems. The whole insurance/deposit system is a rip-off and it has taken me 13 days to receive the refund of my deposit , despite their t and c saying refund in 7 days.

Perfect location
Perfect price
Inside property, beautiful decor, extremely clean, comfy, modern interior
Close to beach and amenities.

Liked everything.

Good location

Had no hot water for the entire stay, contacted host & stay but unfortunately the problem was not fixed.

The place was really quiet and chilled, just what we wanted. The whole place was very nicely decorated, the bedroom felt relaxing and private and the kitchen was well equipped. It was slightly missing on a few practical things (like side tables in the living room and a larger mirror in the bathroom).
We had trouble finding the actual building, mainly because the gmaps location provided was of the next door flats. Thankfully a friendly gentleman pointed us in the right direction. I also had trouble loading their guide app/link because I didn't have a great phone reception, so had to struggle to find the correct apartment. It would be super helpful also to provide more details on the local area. The locals are really helpful however and we got some great tips for places to eat/drink and explore from the man who helped us out when we were wandering around the flats carpark trying to find the front door.
Overall though, a great weekend. Thank you!

Amazing place with fantastic views, the team were always quick to respond to any queries and helped solve them, would definitely stay again!

Lovley appartment but a lot smaller than it looks so not worth what i paid. Entrance hall was dirty and needed a lot of work. However location was perfect and once inside it was lovely.

Location after we found it

Condition of the outside of the property and the old door entrance. Condition of the staircase was shocking the carpet was a trip hazard waiting to happen, 2 nails on each step held the torn carpet together. Wallpaper hanging off walls, dog hairs covered the carpets hadn't been hoovered or cleaned for months

An absolutely fantastic location, great kitchen facilities and a very roomy apartment! Only little negative is that the bed could be comfier- but we still got a fab nights sleep after an exhausting day surfing!

Self catering

Everything was excellent

Lovely location and the room was as described, clean and had everything we needed.

3rd floor room wasn't ideal with a dog and when we use Host and Stay again (which we will!), we will look for a ground floor apartment. The lobby, hallways and stairs were horrible, old wallpaper and paint falling away, damp etc, which is the only thing that lets the experience down a little. If that was tidied up like the room is, would be 10/10

The property was well furnished. But we had no hot water and heating for the full stay which was unacceptable

I have put a complaint in to host and stay, which I am waiting for a satisfactory outcome. There was no heating or hot water for the full stay. The support from host and stay was below standard

The Sea view and it was very quiet. The apartment was nice but I don't think it was worth what we paid. Just needs a bit of attention.

The 3 flights of stairs, the state of the hallway was in need of cleaning and decorating but the apartment wasn't what the stairs showed it was OK once inside. The balcony we didn't use because it just looked out onto the flats across and no sea view. The sink in bathroom was too high also mirror in bedroom. There's no freezer and it looked like it didn't fit in the space. The bed was noisy and the mattress was lumpy also they were single ones I'm guessing was easier to get up the stairs? No where to sit and do hair had to stand at the mirrors which for a 5ft 3 person I couldn't see bottom of hair. Had to use the one in the hallway. We won't stay again but just because the stairs and not having anywhere to sit out unless climbing 3 flights of stairs with a bad back.

Entrance, parking and heating

Excellent accommodation very close to beach & Town centre great location.

Really nice apartment, stairs might put some off, but worth the effort

First class accommodation, very spacious, clean and very close to all town facilities.

It was on the second floor with great views of the sea. If I was staying again with my dog I might look for a ground floor.

However the accommodation was large enough to be very comfortable for more than just two days.

Spacious apartment in a great location with a view of the sea.

location and cleanliness

the hallway / entrance needed some TLC

The actual flat is as seen on advertising photos

The out side is rundown the front garden in a poor state weeds, rubbish broken light fittings, no outside light, front door in poor repair, entrance hall run down peeling yellowed wallpaper, badly fitting stair carpet, rubbish on the floor etc. The boiler was switched off on our arrival when we did get it on the thermostat didn’t seem to regulate the temperature of the heating and the hot water was scalding hot!! dangerously so!!

Great location apartment had everything needed . Tv did not work but had netflix .

Main entrance and shared staircase needed upgrading

The flat was just ok

The entance and stair carpet was poor, it really was a poor first impression.
The company asking for an extra £25 after booking was sharp practice.

Thermostat didn’t work so no heating or hot water

The location is excellent

The stairs to the upper/attic accomodation were
Very steep and therefore carrying up and down with your belongings were a little difficult.

Great location, near to beach and town centre, within walking distance of good restaurants and bars.

Couldn't get TV signal on one night, coffee machine didn't seem to work.
Outside very scruffy needs attention. Entrance hall and stairs to first floor, wallpaper coming off under the window, stair carpet is loose in places.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance of everything Saltburn has to offer.
Spacious , clean and comfy apartment. Exactly like the photos.
Lovely comfy bed, fluffy towels, and many homely touches.
Thoughtful milk , tea , coffee and sugar supplied. Really is a home from home.
If you ignore the communal entrance hall which has seen better days this is a lovely place to stay.

The apartment itself was great and well equiped

The outside of the building and the stairway were in poor decorative state leading to a disappointing first impression.

Very cosy apartment which was beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location (close to both the sea front and plenty of bars / restaurants / shops). Facilities were great, there was everything you would need and tea / coffee / sugar/ milk / shower supplies were provided.

The building itself (leading up to the apartment) wasn't as well kept and the stairs were very narrow and difficult to walk up / down. Cupboards were already full with stuff so there was no where to put any shopping and the handwash in the bathroom was watered down.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Saltburn. Although the instructions were very clear and detailed we managed to miss which flat it was in the building (it's the one on the top floor). The property is newly refurbished and in a great location near the sea but a short walk to shops and restaurants. We didn't have any problems with parking but the streets did get busy, especially on the weekend. There's lots to do in the area as it's well located for the sea and countryside.

Beautifully decorated. Lovely location. Pet friendly.

There was only one fork in the cutlery drawer. Minor issue I know, and as luck would have it I was on my own as my partner couldn’t make it. Had to re-tune tv several times. Nothing major obviously, just little things. On the whole had a well needed break in a lovely apartment. Would definitely come back x

This property is an absolutely lovely space in a great location. We stayed as a couple for a two night visit for our friends wedding in the area. The apartment is absolutely lovely with all the facilities you would want or need. The brilliant information provided by the host meant that our stay was completely stress free, and helped us enjoy the area. Highly recommend this apartment!

Our short stay was really nice and the communication was clear by the management company that run this. At first glance the building is unkept and even the hallways of the shared flat entrance is a little run down. As you make your way to the top it cleans up and then the flat in itself is as pictured. Mind the last 2 flight of steps as each step is quiet narrow. Location is good for beach and town access, parking is ample and the property has plenty of amenities. We would stay again for sure.

Perhaps extra security on the balcomy as bars quite wide for a small dog!

I liked the great location and view of the sea. The property was easy to find and just down the street from the train station and town centre.
Modern and minimal.

Wow what a pleasant surprise this place is, airy and decorated to a nice taste immaculate clean and fresh, quite location right next to the sea the views are amazing love the balacony on the kitchen.

advised incorrectly. not correct full advertising of the property

dirty entrance
loads of dog hair
4 sets of stairs to-get up
stable carpet up some of the stairs
balcony looks shocking and doesn’t feel safe.
not worth £100 per night

Mike M

What a pleasant little apartment, I have read the reviews on here and another site, the apartment is immaculate and looks like it has freshly painted out, yes the apartment is on the top floor (3rd) but what views - parking straight out side very quite location 2 mins from the sea, right next to the promonard for a lovely stroll along it on the evening, with stunning views of the cliffs and beach. The apartment is located near town we’re there was lots of nice restaurants and bars, shops and train station, we will not drive next time but will get the train

The interior of the accommodation was really nice and it was good value for the money. The location was fantastic too.

The corridor was not in the best condition.

very clean and tidy

No breakfast Location was good

No parking belonging to property

only the location

it was three floors to climb and stairs were not cleaned and was difficult to climb due to narrow steps

Location superb. Apartment spotless and very comfortable. Parking was easy.

The initial appearance from outside was poor, quite off putting. The front garden and door looked shabby and uncared for, so did the stairs and hallway. It is a real shame as the apartment and it's location is superb. This is the only reason I dropped my score rating.

The view, the balcony also right next to the beach

No full length mirror all the mirrors were so high. Also no freezer

Very well appointed - great location.

Only minor - but the balcony was very small.

Lovely flat, well equipped kitchen. Excellent location

Toilet seat was broken, reported on arrival

The view from the apartment was brilliant!

Right on sea front, loved the veiws. Close to shops.

Very disappointed with the landlord. He was informed that the television was not working, and said he would come in the afternoon, but despite waiting in all afternoon he did not turn up, same again second day..

It was exceptionally clean and tidy, all the furniture/plates etc were for a very good quality and the location was wonderful.

It was difficult to find. The link in the virtual guide book and the one in the confirmation took us to two different locations. Neither were the property. We were able to find it eventually by calling the office but it added a lot of unnecessary stress. Also the code for the keyboard we recieved was incorrect which again made arrival more stressful.

Very clean, modern facilities, great location, everything within walking distance!

lovely apartment perfect for a couple quite spacious and great decor. Almost everything you could need was provided.

Entrance was a little off putting although I realise this is communal area for other apartments in the building.
no full length mirror available and the toilet seat was extremely loose with no way to tighten up.
also think the ‘balcony” is deceiving in advert.

Booked this little cracker for a weekend away, and what a surprise we had when we got inside the apartment, the attention to detail was second to none, from the decor, to the furnishings, and even the nice little touches such as tea and coffee and milk on arrival, they even provide fresh towels in the bathroom. the view from the kitchen balcony looking straight out to the sea is just to die for, the beach it's self is just a stones through away, and also there is free car parking outside the apartment as well. There is everything that you could ever want from this lovely sea side town.we will be coming back very soon......

Great location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The front door and staircase are rather off putting and definitely need some work/attention/cleaning. The communications from the hosts were fantastic and readily available. The shower facility was the only thing that bothered us inside of the flat and the screen definitely needs fixing.

maybe an extra chair in the lounge

Very cute, clean and surprisingly spacious flat with sea views and a brilliant location in Saltburn. We'd definitely come back :)

great very comfy, clean, everything you’d need was there

nothing

Lovely peaceful stay in a great apartment. Location was great for everything. Very quiet during day and night.

Would just chose to stay in a different apartment due to lack of sea view. Would chose one on main road for that reason.

great location, right on the sea front

difficult to locate, top floor, communal area up to flat need updating but flat it’s self really nice

This was a lovely, clean and perfectly located apartment. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

n/a

What a fabulous place! The location is perfect as long as you’re OK with 3 flights of stairs. The flat is very welcoming, comfortable, well appointed and clean, there’s information available on where to visit and a great walk along the coastal path. The town offers lots of artisan shops as well as a Sainsbury’s and train station at the top of the road. We’ll definitely be back to explore this lovely town more. Thank you ?

What a fantastic apartment with a sea view. Thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend in this place which was spotlessly clean and every need catered for. Would highly recommend.

really clean and pleasant inside, quiet - had a great sleep… view was lovely and location was great

the entrance to the venue isn’t very nice - appreciate it’s a shared block of flats but it’s not got much kerb appeal.. the inside and outside don’t match

This is a great little flat. Ignore the access and common areas of the building, which need some serious attention. But when you get inside, everything is lovely. Comfortable, good bathroom and kitchen, well-equipped, everything works. Perfect location, between the beach and town centre.
Hosts were attentive to my requests/changes and very kind. Also, I asked for more glasses and they were delivered fairly quickly.
The suggestions below may not make any difference to a lot of people, but they did to me. It was SUCH a nice place, I just think that a couple of tiny details would make it perfect.
Lastly: Please note, the flat is 3rd floor with no lift and the last flight is really steep. Don't know how I would have gotten my case up there without the aid of my son. Just saying, in case you're a senior, like me!

Suggestions:
Hooks! Hooks in the hallway to hang your coats; hooks in the bathroom to hang your towels (not even any towel rails); hook on the back of the bedroom door to hang... whatever.
Mirrors: A mirror over the basin in the bathroom would be a basic amenity. ANY mirror, actually.
Lighting: in the kitchen. One stingy bulb in the ceiling makes the kitchen dim and dingy after dark. Can't see to do anything! A decent light fixture with say, 3 bulbs, would make such a difference.

Lovely apartment, exactly as it looks in the pictures. Beware AFTER you have paid you'll get an upsell email trying to get you to buy overpriced insurance at more than 10% the cost of the rental. You don't have to pay (we didn't) but you have a series of tick boxes confirming you are responsible for everything from spills to what goes down the toilet! I don't have any problem with id verification, but this seemed a bit much.

Great apartment everything you could need. Excellent location.

Nothing

The location and layout and the flat itself was brilliant comfy sofa and very quiet.

The mattress... very uncomfy can feel the metal bits through it. Really not comfy and both slept badly on it. Was a shame as everything else we loved. Oh coffee pods to go with the machine would of been good as a bit pointless without.

Excellent location and very good facilities in terms of having things we needed (plates, cups, cleaning products etc).

Definitely not worth the money. The building is very run down (wallpaper hanging off and only underlay - no carpet - on some of the stairs leading up to the apartment) and whilst they have clearly tried to make an effort with the decor it is overall very disappointing. The kitchen has obviously had a fire or something at some point so the walls look dirty. A freezer for a self-catering facility would have been expected. Considering you are asked to wipe down surfaces it was not clean. The light fittings and switches were filthy and there were cobwebs hanging from the walls/ceiling. The dirt that was coming off on the wipes had not been made by us (for example the dirty cup rings on the bedside tables - we did not take drinks in to the bedroom) as we had barely been there due to going out and about each day. Leaving a third of used a toilet roll, when we are supposedly meant to be careful with Covid etc, was unhygienic. Previous dogs that have stayed had clearly urinated up the bath and the side table in the living room as my dog was going mad sniffing them - he was fine everywhere else in there. We left it cleaner than when we arrived.

The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated with a fantastic kitchen and bathroom. It had absolutely everything I needed and for somewhere that is dog friendly, it was so clean! I had my small dog with me and I was impressed at how lovely the apartment was. It was very comfortable as I was there for a few days, and it was lovely to relax in after a busy day visiting family. The location is fantastic with great views. Step out of the door, and you're a minute away from beautiful views and steps down to the beach. The best fish and chips await you at the bottom, at Sea View!

The main front door is a bit tricky as you have to turn the key and the handle as well. When you've got a dog on a lead, a bag, a suitcase etc it's not easy. But that's a minor thing. The hallway when you first go into the building looks really bad, with mail all over the floor and it's a bit offputting until you get into the fantastic apartment, which more than makes up for it!

Really lovely apartment and perfect to access the beach and town. Plenty of parking outside and close by.
We’d booked for the sea view restaurant and this was a perfect location to walk there and back!
It is on the top floor so a couple of flights of stairs but once you open the apartment door, the place is lovely and really lovely welcoming feel to the apartment

Good location
Plenty of hot water and a powerful shower

Entrance was appalling
Lighting very poor in both kitchen and bathroom
Bulbs needed replacing
Towels provided are full of holes and stained with make up
TV stopped working and no info as to how to rectify
Kitchen walls were filthy
Rubbish left on balcony did not add to the ambience

This place is great. Very handy for the beach and Saltburn’s amenities. Lovely and clean. Perfect for a two night stay. Would book again.

Location was great. We found the property a little tricky to identify and was pointed to the right building by a local by chance whilst walking over to a block of flats around the back of the property. Better signage of the building would help so it is easily recognisable from the road side. Other than that, plenty of parking opportunities up and down the street, very clean, newly decorated, modern and had everything we needed for our nights stay.

A mirror in the bathroom above the sink would be useful but not deal breaker.

The flat was spotless and spacious, the owner left a pint of milk which I thought was a lovely touch . Nicely decorated too. It was in a prime place for everything, would go back again .

I thought it looked scruffy when you first go in the building, but as you go up it gets better .

The photos are not an exaggeration, the apartment really is that nice once you get into it. Really well stocked kitchen with cooking oil, salt and pepper if you are planning on cooking your own meals. Beautiful views over the sea and a good location close to the local supermarket and restaurants. Short walk to the pier and a good base to explore this part of the world. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Flat was clean and well presented

The shared stars were not the cleanest or well decorated up to the first floor after that they were well kept up to the second floor

Third time staying with Host and Stay, the flat was clean, warm and relaxing. Location was perfect, another Jewel street location with easy access to the beach. Everything was to our liking.

Everything you need, very local for beach, views, town and eateries.
Facilities are good.
As others have mentioned the outside and stairwell is a bit scruffy and made me initially nervous ?
The apartment itself is clean and well equipped, and we would definitely recommend and would use again.

Nil

Old building but the apartment on the third floor is clean and spacious.

Saltburn by the sea has an old-fashioned style about it which is not unappealing. Excellent fish and chips down on the front.

Good location at the beach end of Emerald Street. Not easy to find parking on Emerald Street itself, but parked nearby.
Lovely decor & very clean & fresh

There are a lot of stairs as the flat is on the top floor

LocationTe

Telly awful no realtime tv.
Apartment dark.
Up three flights so though dog friendly not easy and dog easily slip on floirs
Stairs leading up to very damp and wallpaper falling off walls.
Everything smells damp.

Once inside we had everything we needed a lovely apartment clean and very comfortable really lovely bed and sofa everything in the kitchen spotless and all facilities met

The outside of the property and common areas up to the apartment are very scruffy needing a good clean and a lick of paint the garden full of weeds

Lovely apartment right on the sea front. Very quiet property very relaxing

The view. Comfy sofa. Good shower.

No welcome pack apart from a pint of milk. Bathroom sink at near chest height- ridiculous! Dingy/ dirty communal entrance area.

Great location, bright, clean and spacious flat, ideal spot for a short break.

Good location, right on the sea front. The apartment itself is lovely but definitely not luxury. It had everything we needed for our stay and we definitely made the most of it but it could have been a lot better

The address is flat c 54 emerald street, it isn’t in the apartment complex but a house at the side converted into 3 apartments. 3 key boxes, 2 broken so that’s the first mission to even get the key. The entrance looks like a crack den but once you get past the first 2 floors it’s like walking into another house. The apartment is nicely decorated with everything you need, cutlery, crockery, coffee machine etc. The balcony comes off the kitchen, you can’t sit out there as it’s all rusty and dirty so not quite what we expected. We had heavy rain during our stay, this meant the balcony was full of water as there is no drainage and the water filled the kitchen floor within no time. The place was covered in cobwebs, blankets in the living room were not clean and the sea view was bending your neck round windows covered in bird poop.

Excellent position, spotlessly clean, comfortable, everything we needed really.

It was expensive but this year everywhere was.
We did have issues with finding the rubbish bins and ended up disposing of our rubbish by taking it on days out. Not ideal.

This is a lovely little flat, in an ideal location, close to the sea and the train station in Saltburn. My only criticisms are; the sink in the bathroom is a little high - I’m only 5ft and it was a bit awkward reaching up for it - and there’s only one seat at the kitchen table, which means you can’t sit at the table for a meal in if there’s more than one of you. Otherwise it’s a cosy little nook with everything you could possibly need.

Great value, can’t beat the location or the modern flat. No complaints at all.

Location was excellent and apartment was very well presented and Covered most of our needs, Lovely fresh modern feel. Good quality kitchen utensils/crockery/cutlery. Every thing you need if you wanted to self cater.

Lack of hooks to hang bathrobes etc and no ice compartment in the fridge. A full length mirror may have been useful.

Decor and location fantastic

Communal corridors a little shabby

Breakfast not applicable; location excellent

Hallway and first set of stairs needs refurbishment. I had to buy light bulbs for the bathroom. There appeared to be limited fire safety measures, no escape route identified, and no information on what to do in the event of a fire; no fire extinguisher.

Great Apartment. Very modern and a great location on the sea front.

Great location by the sea

We spent an ideal short break in the property, it is just as described, ideally situated for walks on the sea front, bars, restaurants and all transport links.

Lovely cozy get away with views of the sea and everything you'd need, in a lovely little seaside town

A beautiful appartment. We had a fabulous time...so clean and home from home! Even the puffin napkins were amazing ! Thank you...it was an amazing place for a break. Will be back! X

We booked to stay here the weekend we should have been getting married and what a lovely little apartment it is. So beautifully decorated and clean! We had an issue with the oven and they we're out within an hour to help fix it. We will be back - great location too. Short walk to both the beach and the bars and restaurants

1st time here and Saltburn which had everything we like walks, beautiful beach, pubs and nice places to eat. Emerald Hideaway was ideally situated central to everything so ideal location. Lovely apartment clean and comfortable and everything you’d need to enjoy your stay including comfortable bed with stunning view from the window . Our only negatives were as people who are not tall (5ft 7 and 5ft 4) the bathroom sink was far too high making it awkward and uncomfortable for us to use and also for over 60,s as us no shower mat. All in all tho a fantastic most enjoyable weekend in a lovely apartment.

The apartment is very well equipped, clean, comfortable and cosy. A great base for exploring the surrounding coastline.

The Nespresso coffee machine and a generous selection of pods was a nice touch. Thank you!

A fantastic apartment recently refurbished to a very high standard. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Coffee machine with loads of pods supplied was excellent. Excellent location. Highly recommended..

Amazing place and as described, however there was a neighbour below that played really loud guitar until gone 3am over the weekend. Please consider taking ear plugs and some sleeping pills.
That said am sure it was a rare incident. The place was immaculate and located right by the sea. Hosts have been very friendly too, it’s a shame the weekend was ruined by some idiot with a guitar.
