The house was really lovely and clean. Spacious kitchen and really nice bedrooms. Living room could do with a bit of an update but still it was really comfortable and nice to be in. My son loved that he could watch his YouTube favourites )) The only confusing bit was that when you looked at the little map underneath the advertisement showing location in the Saltburn by the sea centre but when I received the address it was 7 miles away. In the description it did say that it was in different village. Missed that one. That aside it was really nice area and quite. There is a church next to it. Expect bells ringing every hour. Lol.

Nice quiet location. Could do with a kitchen and bathroom upgrade to make it the usual host and stay quality. Shower switches itself on and off randomly and should be replaced.

The place is cute, cosy and works well for a family. I would say it’s nicer than the pictures! The village is very small and without amenities but it’s peaceful and close to the sea.

An Impulse stay in this super cosy cottage - so comfortable, clean with everything you would need. Moorsholm was a a very pretty, quiet village and really well placed for visiting the whole of the area, Whitby nearby, numerous coastal villages and fantastic views, including the moors - totally spoiled for choice, had a wonderful time exploring and eating in historic inns of smugglers gone by. We had loads of information available in the cottage about the area, and a massive supply of interesting places to seek out -fantastic help. Thanks Margaret for a super stay, absolutely perfect.

My wife and I discovered this charming, well equipped cosy cottage in the quiet and peaceful village of Moorsholm some years ago. As the location is ideal for exploring the North York Moors and so convenient for visiting the nearby coast, we have returned many times. On our recent visit we found, as usual, the cottage spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard by the friendly owner, Margaret. Our ideal day is to visit the picturesque coastal village of Sandsend, just a short drive away, then return to Honeysuckle Cottage to relax on the garden bench and enjoy the quiet village atmosphere or, if cool, to relax by the warm fire. We would definitely recommend this little gem!

I stayed in this tranquil cosy cottage with my two sons. We had the most wonderful time exploring the coastal villages with tiny cobbled streets and the outstanding Moors from the peaceful haven of Moorsholm. So clean and beautifully decorated, everything we needed for a home from home made for a particularly enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need, especially if you have a baby. Great base for Saltburn, Whitby and everything in between. The owner (not sure of their name) helped me get a hat back I had left too - just wish they didn’t use a third party for booking and normal comms as it was so hard to get questions properly answered. But wouldn’t put us off staying again- lovely place!

Honeysuckle Cottage is a little gem - located in a tiny village, such a cosy quiet retreat but really well placed to visit all the historic coastal fishing villages and the rugged moors area. Spotlessly clean, well appointed and lovely attention to detail - the beds were wonderfully comfortable and just added to an amazingly relaxing stay. We totally enjoyed our visit which exceeded our expectations in every way.
