Located right on the doorstep of Saltburn beach, this holiday apartment is the perfect place to head to for a getaway on the North Yorkshire coast. True to its name, Pier View gives guests a spectacular sight of Saltburn’s famous pier, meaning that you’ll also be able to look out to the North Sea horizon during your stay. Sleeping up to four guests (please see 'The Space' for how to increase the occupancy), Pier View is a great apartment to call home during your retreat by the sea.

The Space
Pier View really is a stunning apartment with sea views. With a fresh and modern feel throughout, guests are guaranteed to enjoy a stylish stay.

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area boasts two comfy armchairs, a flat-screen TV, a breakfast bar, and a fully-equipped kitchen with all of the modern appliances you need to make the most of your self-catering stay.

Head upstairs and the ultra-chic feel continues into the bedroom at Pier View. This four-poster double bed is situated within a tranquil space where guests can be assured of a quality night’s sleep thanks to the plush bedding and premium bed linens used to make the bed up.

There is also a snug room with two large chairs which can also be made into sofa beds which makes Pier View versatile for both couple getaways and family breaks. Please get in touch with us prior to your stay if you would like the sofa beds to be made up.

Pier View’s bathroom maintains the classy feel. With a shower, WC and wash basin, this spotlessly clean room is spacious and well-equipped. With brass fixtures and feature tiles this is a truly stylish space.

There is also a separate WC downstairs at Pier View.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Located in the heart of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast, you’ll be perfectly placed just a short walk from independent shops, bars, bistros and restaurants as well as the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.

Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and Saltburn is included. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are truly beautiful!

Getting Around
The apartment is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.
