The Seaside Escape is a two bedroom first floor apartment located in the heart of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Recently refurbished, the apartment is modern throughout and feels large, bright and airy. It is close to all of Saltburn’s amenities and just a 5-minute walk from Saltburn’s award winning beach. Sleeping up to four guests, The Seaside Escape is also dog friendly.

Property Details

The Space
The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area at The Seaside Escape is a real social hub where you can enjoy quality time with your loved ones. The space is light thanks to the large bay window whilst it also features a comfy sofa, matching armchair, and a large Samsung Smart TV.

Also sharing this space is a fully-equipped kitchen with modern appliances and cookware, so you can cook up your favourite meals during your coastal getaway. The dining table is spacious and has seating for all guests.

The first bedroom at The Seaside Escape is a cosy and tranquil room featuring a king-size bed, as well as a dressing table that could easily double up as a convenient workspace. The soft furnishings in mustard yellow add a pop of colour to the space.

The Seaside Escape’s second bedroom has twin beds with a teal green theme woven through the room. The space is bright and features ample storage space for keeping your belongings neatly tucked away during your stay. The beds can be merged into a king upon request.

Both bedrooms feature premium bedding and linen and have space for travel cots, ideal if staying with your little ones.

The family bathroom is a simple space with a generously-sized bathtub and overhead shower, wash basin and a WC, as well as a towel rail.

The Seaside Escape is located within the same building as, License to Chill, a three bedroom apartment. Together the apartments can sleep 10 guests in total. Please contact our friendly team if you are travelling in a larger party and wish to enquire about availability for both apartments.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
The Seaside Escape is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast.

Located in the heart of the town, the apartment is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.

Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful!

Getting Around
The Seaside Escape is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Free on-street parking is available outside the property on a first come, first served basis. No permit is required.

Please note that a travel cot isn’t provided in the apartment.
