Overall the property is very good. It is well decorated, large enough for a good sized group, the location is brilliant and it is clean with comfy beds. However, we had 3 children with us and were not able to use the oven as it wouldn’t heat. We weren’t forewarned that this was an issue and went and spent money on a food shop which was then binned as we weren’t able to freeze it due to the freezer being over frozen and drawers not opening. We tried to get assistance with this but as you are not able to talk to the owners directly this was not possible and we did not receive any helpful responses only an automated reply from host & stay. This meant that we had to bin our food shop and order food which we did not intend on doing. Overall the property is good but be mindful that if any issues arise when there you aren’t able to contact the owners for assistance.

Excellent property for a big family trip. Plenty of space and great location for both beach and town. Easy communication and very simple process. Nice little yard out the back for those sunny morning coffees. Nice neighbours was a bonus!

The property was large, it was nicely decorated and I loved that there were books in almost every room. The rooms were spacious and generally clean.

When I arrived there was around 50 large flies (dead and alive) - there was a lot of post behind the door which meant that the house had not been cleaned on the day of arrival. The bathroom floors were dusty when I arrived.

Thanks for a great stay, the house was perfect for us as a group. Easy to walk into town and to the beach. Parking was easy right outside and the beds and linen were so comfortable.

The house has been renovated well and the situation is lovely. Just disappointed in the ‘surface clean’ approach to the let. It basically needs a declutter and ‘deep’ clean. Dust under bath, pet hair from previous people, broken shelves in fridge, freezer iced up, dishwasher needed hot run through because of smell, dirty/wet cleaning cloth left in bathroom cupboard, drawers cluttered, greasy, dusty ornaments in kitchen area, oven needs some TLC, outside furniture needs a good wipe down and settee in lounge area needs replacing and rethinking for 10 people. Kitchen and dining space is a great area. When you pay a cleaning fee you expect a place to be spotless.

The location was great.
Nice comfortable beds with good quality linen.
The big dining table was great.
The house was well equipped and on a quiet street, on street parking was easily available

The house is on 3 floors, so not great for anyone with mobility issues.
The light fitting in the kitchen had one bulb out of 3 working which made it very gloomy. We didn't use the dishwasher as it was in bad state, smelling stale with food particles stuck to the drainage area which seemed to have been disassembled. Usually self catering places have meticulously clean cutlery and crockery, unfortunately this wasn't the case here so were washing everything before we used it.
The lounge is very narrow and dark, the TV is so high on the wall its uncomfortable to watch.
Not a problem if you are out all the time but big problem if you want a quiet night in or the weather is bad so you want to just watch telly. One bathroom leads directly off the lounge and has no lock on it.
The other is on the second floor and the door is stiff so needs forced shut.
With a few tweaks this place could be lovely and it was fine for the short time we were there, not sure I would stay for longer though. The landlords were very understanding and have said they welcomed my honest feedback.

We were visiting family nearby. The house is as described, and the living areas and the bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. Very easy walking to the beach, shops and restaurants. The road was pretty quiet, and we had no issue with street parking. Loved having the large kitchen table to sit around.
Only thing to note- while there is a washer and drying rack (inside and out), there is no tumble dryer.
