Great place, good location.

Being an old house split into 3 apartments, on occasions, there was a fair amount of noise. This I totally understand, but 5.30am and 6.30am meant we were woken up very early on 2 of the mornings we stayed.

All the rooms in the house were light and airy. Bathroom was smart and modern. Kitchen has very good size fridge/freezer.

Kitchen equipment needs updating,no scissors, plenty of pans but past their best. Kitchen cupboards all full but no room for anything we brought or bought fresh.

Spacious accommodation for a family/group, including a sitting out area and BBQ. Great residential location with supermarkets, local shops, pubs and restaurants close by. Parking on street with scratch cards/parking discs provided.
We walked to the castle and south beach, but drove to Peasholm park, north bay and Alpamere - never had a problem parking on our return to the property. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing to complain about at all. A few more glasses may be useful if there is a large family/group staying.

The place was huge and every one of us loved the large rooms and it had a bedroom on the ground floor which was great for two of our party.

No ironing board to iron clothes. Other than that it was great

The rooms are exactly same how it is showing in the picture. It was nicely cleaned and clutter free. Owner of the home is also very helpful. But we were having issue with the heating for all the rooms. Heater was not working at all, particularly during evening and night hours. We tried to connect with the authority multiple times regarding the issue over the given phone number, but no one was picking up the call during late evening and it was going into there voice mail. They tried to connect over message with the instruction, but things were not worked at all. I think there was lack of communication as they do not have any direct number to connect with them, each time we need to connect via board number. But I must say, apart from the room heating issue, rest of the amenities was quite good, and as expected. Hope the authority will resolve the heating issue for the rooms and introduce any direct numbers for communication during late hours or out of business hours.

We had a really lovely break in this fantastic apartment. It was clean, very comfortable beds, good place to cook although we did treat ourselves to takeaways as we never do at home! Its very close to a big tesco and the shopping centre of Scarborough whilst being in a quiet street. It only took about 10 to 15 mins to walk down to the beach with our dog, we were able to park our van in the street using the scratch cards daily and didnt even have to move it for 3 days until we went to alpamere. We would definitely book again, great value for money and dog and child friendly, loved it.

The property was modern and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the facilities it offered were perfect. Loved the closed front garden, perfect for the dogs. Only a 15 minute walk away from South Bay beach front. Plenty of information and guidance on recommended place to eat or visit while at our stay. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Nothing, Everything was lovely.

The place was extremely spacious and it was great value for money. The kitchen was very equipped and the house was overall quite clean. The host was also very friendly.

The only problem we had was our delayed check-in time. The place was not ready at the promised 3pm check-in time, and we were asked to return at a later time which was quite an inconvenience. In addition, the soap given in the toilet was barely enough for 1 person for a night, and we were a group of 6 staying for 2 nights.

Overall, my friends and I had a pleasant stay and will definitely return if we decide to give Scarborough another visit in the future.
