Great place, good location.
Being an old house split into 3 apartments, on occasions, there was a fair amount of noise. This I totally understand, but 5.30am and 6.30am meant we were woken up very early on 2 of the mornings we stayed.
All the rooms in the house were light and airy. Bathroom was smart and modern. Kitchen has very good size fridge/freezer.
Kitchen equipment needs updating,no scissors, plenty of pans but past their best. Kitchen cupboards all full but no room for anything we brought or bought fresh.
We had a great stay! Lovely and spacious accommodation, well located for the station and local attractions. Any messages were answered promptly. Would stay again.
Convenient location , clean , good sized rooms and dog friendly. Parking sorted by landlord
Wooden floors , some upstairs noise
Always a shame about late check in and early check out, but I suppose this is the norm !
Perfect location for us.
Spacious apartment with perfect room for the children.
Nothing
Spacious accommodation for a family/group, including a sitting out area and BBQ. Great residential location with supermarkets, local shops, pubs and restaurants close by. Parking on street with scratch cards/parking discs provided.
We walked to the castle and south beach, but drove to Peasholm park, north bay and Alpamere - never had a problem parking on our return to the property. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing to complain about at all. A few more glasses may be useful if there is a large family/group staying.
The place was huge and every one of us loved the large rooms and it had a bedroom on the ground floor which was great for two of our party.
No ironing board to iron clothes. Other than that it was great
The rooms are exactly same how it is showing in the picture. It was nicely cleaned and clutter free. Owner of the home is also very helpful. But we were having issue with the heating for all the rooms. Heater was not working at all, particularly during evening and night hours. We tried to connect with the authority multiple times regarding the issue over the given phone number, but no one was picking up the call during late evening and it was going into there voice mail. They tried to connect over message with the instruction, but things were not worked at all. I think there was lack of communication as they do not have any direct number to connect with them, each time we need to connect via board number. But I must say, apart from the room heating issue, rest of the amenities was quite good, and as expected. Hope the authority will resolve the heating issue for the rooms and introduce any direct numbers for communication during late hours or out of business hours.
lovely spacious property, absolutely ideal.
nothing
Had a great stay celebrating New Year with friends. Was a great base to explore the Yorkshire coast from and a warm and comfortable place to come back to after the Flamborough Fire Festival!
We had a really lovely break in this fantastic apartment. It was clean, very comfortable beds, good place to cook although we did treat ourselves to takeaways as we never do at home! Its very close to a big tesco and the shopping centre of Scarborough whilst being in a quiet street. It only took about 10 to 15 mins to walk down to the beach with our dog, we were able to park our van in the street using the scratch cards daily and didnt even have to move it for 3 days until we went to alpamere. We would definitely book again, great value for money and dog and child friendly, loved it.
Everything was exceptional
Not enough parking permits for all visitors
Nice roomy house,good location.
Great sized apartment for small group. All bedrooms great size, plenty room for suitcases. Spotlessly clean throughout (except 1 thing, some dishes at bottom cupboard were dirty as if previous guest had hidden them not the people who run it.) Lovely kitchen all set up with all things you could need. Minutes from sea fronts in car, Did not try any public transport. Street Car parking badge was provided on arrival. Unbelievably quiet street and neighbourhood. Easy check in/out. Unfortunately the beds were too hard for the 3 adults (2 kids had a great sleep) perhaps that’s personal taste but they are very firm. Bedding and pillows were great and clean. Plenty towels. Could not find a hairdryer anywhere, we all had a hunt, the kids thought it was a good game but with no joy at the end. One was advertised so the 2 ladies didn’t bring one. We used to messaging service that contacts you via txt msg to enquire about it. Next morning no reply and we had to go out quick for a booked activity. There was a folder with contact details on the house but By the time we were back I was too tired to chase it and we were checking out next morning anyway. If any problems assume the txts are automated and not checked and use the info provided in apartment. I would have done so if staying another day. All in all I wouldn’t look much further as this pretty much will tick most peoples boxes for a seaside stay. Having done this many times with the kids in Blackpool and scarborough and been stung with some expensive horrors this has been the best place we have used with kids, absolute value for money.
The property was modern and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the facilities it offered were perfect. Loved the closed front garden, perfect for the dogs. Only a 15 minute walk away from South Bay beach front. Plenty of information and guidance on recommended place to eat or visit while at our stay. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Nothing, Everything was lovely.
2 supermarkets in walking distant. Town centre also walking distant n seafront a 10 minute quick stroll so can leave car at property most of the time. Rooms spacious n v clean. Large Bathroom/wet room with great shower. V comfortable lounge area with well equipped kitchen On the whole a superb property
Street Parking was a bit hit n miss depending on time of day but once we got used to it wasn’t so bad.
Great size, lots of space. excellent location. clean and tidy. fully fitted out.
beds had extremely hard mattresses unfortunately everyone had uncomfortable sleeps and woke in pain. a hairdryer was advertised, could not find one so messaged the owners who never replied.
Nice big rooms
It's a new property so a few teething problems. Needs sweeping brush and airer. Owners were lovely.
We recently stayed at this beautiful apartment and enjoyed a bbq in the front yard. Very close to the train station and bus stops (which do day trips to Whitby etc). Short walk from the beach. Large TESCO and Sainblsburts in close walking distance. If you're really lucky with timing you might even see a steam train arrive at the station in the summer holidays. Ideal for larger families. Lots of space.
The place was extremely spacious and it was great value for money. The kitchen was very equipped and the house was overall quite clean. The host was also very friendly.

The only problem we had was our delayed check-in time. The place was not ready at the promised 3pm check-in time, and we were asked to return at a later time which was quite an inconvenience. In addition, the soap given in the toilet was barely enough for 1 person for a night, and we were a group of 6 staying for 2 nights.

Overall, my friends and I had a pleasant stay and will definitely return if we decide to give Scarborough another visit in the future.
Beautiful house with nice big rooms and friendly neighbours and a perfect location as its only a short walk to all the shops and beach :)
