The Townhouse

General size of property.<br/>Enough seats for us in front room. <br/>Dishwasher.<br/><br/>No curtains in living room.

This is a great house in a really useful location- roughly 15 minutes walk to the south beach and about 7 minutes walk to the quieter north beach. There’s a wonderful park very close to the house which has pedalos, a band, miniature train and loads of other things to do. With three young boys, the location was perfect for us. <br/>The house is clean, comfortable and has a lot of bathrooms which for a big group of people is so useful. We were sent a guide to staying there which was useful and had good communication with them throughout. We really enjoyed the stay.

Location is excellent with all local amenities nearby. The property is really well proportioned, with plenty of space for 10 adults. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean<br/><br/>No negatives at all

Nice size, comfortable, showers were excellent, slept fine (and that's from a very fussy sleeper)<br/><br/>No curtains or blinds in the front room meant people could easily see in during the evening, and the kids toys on site could really do with a refresh.

An excellent stay at a brilliant house, more than enough space for 6 adults and 4 children. Big rooms, clean, great amenities, can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to be back!

A beautiful house with a lovely spacious feel and with the beach just a 5 minute walk away. However, for the money we paid, we were surprised at a few things: <br/>~ radiators on the top floor did not work, making it very cold<br/>~ a broken toilet seat in the en suite and a broken flush in the downstairs toilet (which my husband fixed)<br/>~ a broken plinth on the main coffee table in the lounge<br/>~ no hairdryer even though listed in the amenities<br/>~ no stair gate supplied so hard to follow rule of keeping the dog downstairs<br/>~ no dustpan and brush, can opener, grater or lid on the teapot<br/>These are all things that can be easily fixed, so hopefully they will be for the next guests.

We went on our first family holiday with my husbands parents, his sister and brother in law and nephew and our 2 sons as well as 3 dogs. We were celebrating his parents 80th birthdays. We needed to use the car to and from the property but for normal we could have parked up and accessed everything we needed on foot. We had plenty room in the property and didn’t feel like we were in each others way. Would certainly recommend this property to others. Only downside was the property is in need of some exterior attention ie weeds quite bad out front. Cafe a few doors down was a favourite of us all .

Very relaxing house to stay in we all loved it

A nice large house which was ideal for our family group. Good location. Kitchen could be slightly better equipped with big pans, lots more mugs and scales / mixer.

Location perfect for access to both bays.<br/><br/>Furniture tired and not very clean. Drawers weren't clean and carpets needed cleaning and Hoovering properly. Window frames and skirting boards dirty in places

Second time we have stayed here this year and it was perfect again, thank you!

Location and bathrooms and games room and space and nice lady came out to sort complaints<br/><br/>Cleaning definitely below par. Stained sheets,sticky work surfaces, rubbish dumped outside deck area and other things.

Lovely property, really well furnished and a great location!

Great location, kids playroom was fab. Comfy beds & quality bed linen. New bathrooms throughout with shampoos/conditioner<br/><br/>Cleaning was quite up to scratch. Dead flowers on the coffee table when we arrived, lots of dead bugs on the windowsills. Wasn’t any cleaning products to use, no dishcloth and only bin bag for a 4 day stay for 8 of us! Broken tv unit.

A very spacious house that worked well for our family group of 10. An easy short walk down to North Bay or Peasholm Park. <br/>The only things missing are some better kitchen items to cater for large groups- very little in terms of large dishes and pans etc. I've never seen so many wine glasses however!

Brilliant property. We had a fantastic stay. Inside was beautiful and clean and as a big family with lots of couples and dogs we all had plenty of room. Only concern we had was that there was lots a rubbish bags piled up on the decking of the property. It was incredibly windy one evening during our stay and the rubbish was blowing about! <br/><br/>Other than that, fantastic stay and im sure we will be rebooking.

Lovely lovely house! Great for a big group of people. Fabulous location and fantastic set up!

The location was very good. The size of the property was great.<br/><br/>On arrival the property smelt of stale cigarette smoke, there were piles of rubbish in the rear yard, only 6 mugs in a property for upto 10 people and the cleaning looked like it had been rushed and not to a very good standard.

Overall we had a great stay and the house was excellent. It was really spacious, plenty of seating in the living room, comfy beds, and lovely big bathrooms with great showers. There were a few things that could have been improved: there were quite a few light bulbs missing (the one in the entrance was missing so when we arrived in the dark, i had to use a torch to find a light switch that connected to working lights), there were big bags of laundry left in the hallway, and the bin area was filled with old rubbish. It was still great value and a great stay though

Property was beautiful very spacious and comfortable<br/><br/>House next door wasn’t very pleasant the people were always drunk and standing outside and were very loud. I don’t think it is something children should have to see.

Great stay with family.

Great location, North Bay and Peasholm Park very close. Places to eat and North Bay Fisheries just around the corner. Property is ideal for large family groups but would benefit from some updating (windows, front door etc) and kitchen having wider range of pots, pans and utensils.

We had a great time here, perfect for a group of friends.

My family and I (6 adults, 3 children and 3 dogs) stayed at The Townhouse and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. It is in a great location just a short walk to the beach and town. The house was very clean and well equipped and we instantly felt at home. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
