Baslow Road is a beautiful two-story holiday apartment located in Totley, near Sheffield. Sleeping up to four guests, Baslow Road is the perfect place for families and friends to enjoy a getaway with both bustling city life and stunning countryside right on your doorstep.
With stunning interiors throughout, Baslow Road has been recently renovated to the highest standard.
You’ll be welcomed into the spacious and stylish living room which features cream walls and a flat screen Smart TV. The furnishings perfectly combine modern and traditional, with the grey sofas and glass dining table, along with the log burner create a really homely feel.
Head just along from the living space and you’ll find yourself in the kitchen. The traditional, wooden kitchen units are contrasted perfectly with white coloured walls. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. All cookware and dishes are provided so you’ll have everything you need for your self-catering stay.
BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
Head back to the living room and the stairs will take you up to two bedrooms and the bathroom.
The first bedroom is a tranquil haven. Plush grey carpets compliment the cream coloured walls. The comfy, king-sized bed is perfect after a long day exploring South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
The next bedroom is yet another modern space. Premium bedding and linen makes the king-sized bed even more comfortable so you’ll look forward to your sleep at Baslow Road.
Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a clean, bright space. The immaculately clean space has everything you need with a bath, a separate shower, a wash basin, and a WC.
Baslow Road has a secure private garden with plenty of space for you and your guests to relax outdoors and take in some fresh air.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
A small Co-op convenience store is located directly across from the apartment. A well-stocked butcher is located around 100 yards up the road. Further shops and takeaways are located around 100 yards down the road on the opposite side. A large Tesco and Sainsburys are located around a mile away, off the A621.
A number of pubs are close by to Baslow Road. The Cricket Inn is highly recommended, especially on a sunny day. There are several coffee shops and restaurants which are easily accessible from Baslow Road, and you’ll find a number of country pubs if you head down the road into Derbyshire.
In terms of attractions and nearby sights, you’ll find Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Castleton and Eyam all within driving distance. Sheffield has a number of theatres, including the Lyceum, Crucible and Sheffield City Hall. Museums and galleries include the Millenium Gallery, Graves Gallery, Ruskin Gallery, Weston Park Museum, Kelham Island Industrial Museum, Bishops House, Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet and the Shepherds Wheel.
Totley is on the outskirts of Sheffield and has great transport links into Sheffield via bus. Bus no.97 goes to the centre of Sheffield from the bus stop outside the apartment.
Dore train station is close by and has trains operating to Sheffield and Manchester. A number of connecting routes can also be found from the stations mentioned above so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Please note that the apartment can only be accessed via stairs. There is no lift at the property.

Had a lovely stay here over the new year, the apartment was really well equipped, everything was clean and modern, great location for local shops, restaurants, lovely pubs, we had a great dinner on New Year’s Eve at The Cricketer which is a four min drive away and so close to the Peak District for some lovely walks with our dog. Definitely would return.

Lovely, spacious flat. Would much prefer not dealing with a management company as the owner himself is very reactive and easy to communicate with. We stayed for a few weeks between houses and it has been perfect for that. Great that it’s dog friendly too. Equipped with everything you would need. Big garden too! Co-op very convenient. Close to Peak District-plenty of local walks and pubs.
Bland, basic, didn’t feel safe. <br/>Issues with this AirBnB included:<br/> <br/>- Smell of damp<br/>- Hard to find <br/>- Greasy kitchen utensils <br/>- Got locked in for 2.5 hours<br/>- Asked to pay unrefundable £25 deposit (or £250 refundable one!)<br/>- Very basic, student accommodation furnishings<br/>I do not recommend this place to stay; and have made a formal complaint. <br/>Very high price for a very poor experience. <br/>I won’t be back or staying with this host again.
Good location and plenty of room.
Great apartment, great size and very nicely presented. Nothing in it looked ‘tired’. The furniture looked new, the kitchen was very equipped and wanted for nothing.<br/>Both bedrooms were of a good size as was the bathroom. <br/>The description online was accurate with no nasty surprises.<br/>I would definitely stay there again.

This apartment was located in a great place, just a quick walk from a small grocery store and restaurants. There was a lovely view of the Peak District from the windows. We did read that the apartment was dog friendly, but we didn’t think that it might have smells because of that. The living room area has carpet and smelled strongly of dog urine, covered up with air freshener. If you are sensitive to smells that might be a problem for you.
We were very impressed with the standard of the apartment. It was extremely well appointed and immaculately clean and comfortable. It was also ideally situated on a very regular bus route to the city centre or into Derbyshire. The 218 to Bakewell must be one of the most scenic journeys in the UK passing through Chatsworth estate. Hope to stay again when visiting family. Highly recommend
Apartment was clean and exactly how it was described, big garden and pubs and shops in walking distance. <br/>It did smelly quite musty when we walked in so we aired it but other than that it was great. One thing I would like to say is that I was sent numerous messages advising me I MUST vacate the property by 10am and no later. This was very annoying as I knew to check out at 10 so no need for the constant reminders during my visit and again this mornin bb when I’m departing.
Nice and clean but entrance smells fusty. We didn't know that this entrance is shared with people in neighbouring office who use a small kitchen so wondered what the noises were at first. There were three of us staying at the flat and we all have a car,parking not always easy outside on the dual carriage way.the shower is nice with good water pressure and the towels clean and fluffy..overall flat was fine as we live in sheffield and just needed somewhere to stay whilst our house had work done. We think the extra 25 pounds we have to pay on top of the price and the service fee is not fair...
Very comfortable flat that was more spacious than expected! Lovely towels. Convenient for the buses into Sheffield and Bakewell.
Nice flat, great location, short drive to City Centre walking distance to countryside. Nice pubs very close by.
Nice 2 bed apartment, second time staying here. Down side is the non refundable “transaction fee” for the security deposit. Understand it can sometimes be necessary to take security deposits but taking a fee & not refunding after departure is a major turnoff and would make me consider booking somewhere else next time.
Would highly recommend a stay here- it was spotlessly clean, very well furnished, quiet and comfortable. <br/><br/>I stayed with my dog and although the garden isn’t ‘spaniel secure’ (I kept him in the lead!!) for a sensible dog it would be perfect for an off lead explore. <br/><br/>Easy parking outside in the road and a ver convenient coop opposite the flat.
Great location for getting out into the peaks. 15mins taxi to town. Clean and homely. One bedroom is quite a lots smaller than the other. Lacking a few essentials E.g. washing up liquid

We had a lovely stay at the apartment and was perfect for my mum and I and my pup. Was located in a very convenient spot and was incredibly quiet. The only downside was that we asked for a late checkout a few days before we were meant to check out and we never got a response - even a 'no' would've been helpful for our plans. Other than that, the apartment was very clean and comfortable and we used the log burner which made it even cozier!
Nice place, heating worked well but took time to fully warm up. Spacious and was a handy location with easy access to surrounding areas. If dining in Deliveroo and city grab deliver from many of the best restaurants in Sheffield.

Nice simple and cosy flat conveniently located and with plenty of parking available. The flat had what we needed for our stay and had nice large comfy beds.
It was a lovely apartment and very close to our family<br/>We thought it was a bit expensive and we had a problem getting in the apartment as there were two key safes on the premises and we got the wrong one and had to telephone only to be told it was the one on the left hand side of door
The original website was called Home Away, and we very soon felt totally at home here. A clean, light, comfortable, well-appointed apartment in which every detail had been attended to. Rarely have we encountered such a well-equipped kitchen or bathroom (and we rent regularly). Do note that the bathroom is upstairs (relevant for anyone having problems with stairs). The neighbourhood is a quiet, mainly residential one. The property is on a dual-carriageway road, but is well-insulated and we experienced hardly any traffic noise. Friends visiting (by prior arrangement with the firm concerned) were also most impressed. We were ideally situated, with Sheffield city centre about 20 minutes away (by car, though there are bus stops very nearby) and the Peak District 10 minutes..I only hope that this recommendation (a most sincere one) means that there still might be a few days left available for us when we want to visit friends and family in my native Sheffield again!
good apartment in a good location.
This was a nice modernised space with comfy beds and good bath and shower. Very good location with parking right outside and a Co-op just across the road.<br/><br/>Check in was frustrating but I don't imagine it's like that most of the time.<br/><br/>Nice enough. Would probably stay there again.

We loved our stay here. The place is lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable and perfectly located to explore Sheffield and the Peaks (depending on what kind of mood you wake up in, you could do full-city or full-countryside!). The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for yourself. There's also a great workstation upstairs, with lots of natural light, it would make a great location to work remotely from. 100% recommend.

We had a great experience with this apartment! It's in a nice part of town, and very easily accessible. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and well appointed. Despite being on a main road, there was no noticeable street noise. We will absolutely book this apartment for future stays!
Great location, very clean with great facilities. Beds are very comfortable and there’s everything that you need in the property. Good pubs and restaurants close by and a convenience store just across the road.
Lovely apartment, perfect for 2-3 people. Lots of parking available on the street with great access to the local shop just across the road. Second bedroom is smaller in size so really only suitable for one adult. Apartment was lovely & cosy with everything you’d need.

This is a great apartment, especially if you're after a location that's minutes from the beautiful Peak District National Park, yet with all the benefits of Sheffield right on your doorstep as well. Easy for transport into the city and good parking availability, with fantastic utilities and all the comforts of home - great find and we hope to return.
