A round, white dining table also shares the space and seats four people comfortably. On the first floor, you will find two delightful double bedrooms along with the family bathroom and a separate WC. The master bedroom features a combination of white and navy walls to create a calming atmosphere to relax in. The king size bed features a dark blue coloured headboard and is dressed with crisp, white linen and colourful soft furnishings. The second bedroom features a double bed and has a bright theme to it. The bed is dressed with a navy blue throw and matching cushions. This light and airy space is the perfect retreat after a busy day by the coast. Head to the bathroom and you’ll find a modern space fitted with a rainfall walk-in shower, WC and basin. Large grey tiles cover the walls and the room is finished off with a wall hung towel rail and silver heated towel rail.

Just a short stroll from Marsden Beach House is Marsden Bay and Marsden Rock. Here you can admire the spectacular views on offer and as the site is home to one of England's most important seabird colonies, you can expect to see thousands of pairs of kittiwakes, fulmars, gulls and cormorants. Above the bay is the The Leas, a two mile stretch of grassy land designated as a site of special scientific interest. It's is a great spot for walking, cycling and flying kites. If shopping is your thing, there are plenty of great deals to be had at South Shields Market. Enjoy browsing a variety of stalls in the friendly atmosphere at one of the oldest open-air markets in the North East. The market is held in a traditional square with the 18th-century old Town Hall at its heart.
