The Space
KITCHEN
Kurnell Cottage has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster so you can prepare meals easily during your stay. The cosy dining area features a wooden table and four matching chairs.

LIVING AREA
With a flat screen TV, comfy leather sofa and an armchair, the living area is perfect for relaxing with your loved ones.

BEDROOM
Head upstairs to the first floor and you'll find two bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom is a tranquil space with a king size bed, a wardrobe, drawers and a flat screen TV.

Ideal for children and teenagers, the second bedroom has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a single on the top.

BATHROOM
Bright and modern, the family bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, WC and wash basin for your convenience.

GARAGE
Head outside and you’ll find a small garage which provides the perfect spot for storing your outdoor equipment such as bikes and surfboards.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Staithes is the quaint coastal village which was recently named one of Britain’s most beautiful seaside villages. It has high cliffs, winding streets and mismatched cottages bursting with charm.

The village is also known for its abundance of fossils which can be found along the small beach and in the cluster of rockpools. This area is nicknamed the ‘Dinosaur Coast’ as it’s packed with history.

Staithes is a magnet for art and artists alike. Throughout the village you’ll find amazing painted illusions known as the ‘Painted Illusions Trail’ created by the famous artist Paul Czainski. It is also the home to the impressionist art society, known as Staithes Group, and their work can always be seen dotted around. Getting Around
Kurnell Cottage is within walking distance of all that Staithes has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Whitby.

Staithes has great bus links to surrounding areas including Whitby, Sandsend, Saltburn, Middlesbrough, and Scarborough. The X4 bus runs from Middlesbrough to Whitby passing Staithes Lane End making it very accessible to other desired bays.

The closest train stations are located in Saltburn and Whitby.
