Good location. Close to Whitby. Great amenities

Shops a little too far way

The facilities and equipment in the apartment were first class. The location offered us a good base for walking. The local pub, 10 min walk was a bonus with a good menu and generous portions. The view in the distance from the bedroom and hallway were a bonus. Waking up to see the Abbey from the bedroom window was special.

The unsatisfactory cleanliness on arrival resulting in my wife and l needing to immediately hoover and clean several areas. I complied with the request to submit a first impression review. However l did not receive an acknowledgement or a reply. However l did receive numerous, too many email messages during our stay.
The number on the key for the apartment was number 6 yet we were staying in apartment 7 causing unnecessary confusion.

Nothing will never use Host & Stay again, anyone doing so needs their head testing.

Laziness was the main problem here, that and a healthy dose of stupidity. The hosts had previously been informed the key box had no number on it, however because here you have stupidity of the highest order, nothing had been done about it. This pales into insignificance when you consider we were also given the wrong postcode. Directed RIGHT into the back of beyond, continually circling around Danby. If prizes were given to the most stupid, idiotic hosts on booking.com these clowns win hands down, it's just not possible for them to be beaten. Few other points, accommodation was untidy and it took an age to work out how to turn the hot water on. Everything was just rubbish from start to finish

Lovely spacious apartment in a wonderful location. The rental had everything we needed for a great getaway, as well as spectacular views over the countryside out to the sea. The host was very communicative and helpful. Sneaton was perfect to escape the bustle of Whitby, I highly recommend the Beacon Farm cafe and ice cream parlour!

Lovely spacious apartment with fab views. A proper home from home. The only slight glitch was that the bed had not been changed and the bathroom still had last occupants towels in the shower. A quick phonecall sorted it. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely would stay again.

The apartment was really lovely, it felt like visiting someone’s home rather than a holiday let. Extremely spacious and very warm which given the current situation regarding fuel prices was fantastic!
Bed very comfortable with beautiful white bedding.
I took a star off for cleanliness, overall the apartment was clean but some of the cupboards full of ornaments and the like were a bit dusty, which was understandable.
Location was great as long as you have a car, being within a very easy drive to Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and countryside walks. Sneaton itself is very small, not a lot to see or do but The Wilson Arms is worth a visit, we ate there twice and both meals were really good.
Check in and communication with hosts great.

The property was spotlessly clean, luxurious even, with every amenity. It is spacious and airy, with great views over to the Abbey. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was crisp and brilliant white. The bathroom was modern, well appointed, roomy and bright. If there is a fault, it is that the parking space is a fair way away and at the bottom of a quite steep slope. Nevertheless, we would not hesitate to recommend it. It is brilliantly located for exploring the area, being just a short drive from the likes of Whitby, Sandsend and Goathland etc. Also, there are lots of great pubs and other places to eat in the vicinity. A strong 9.5 from us!

This is a very comfortable first floor apartment with absolutely stunning views of Whitby Abbey! There is a pub with excellent food and friendly staff just a few minutes' walk away, so it's pretty simple if you want to eat out. We enjoyed using the apartment as a base to explore the coast.

This is an extremely comfortable and peaceful place to stay. The accommodation is beautifully presented and fully equipped to a very high standard. It has beautiful views from the bedroom over countryside to the abbey and sea. It is ideally situated for exploring the Whitby coast and moors. We can throughly recommend it.
