The facilities and essentials they have were plentiful and as good as you’d have at home. The best we have ever been to.<br/><br/>Only one door key although we could have put it back in the key safe but didn’t like leaving it in there.

Wonderful house! Plenty of space for our extended family of 10. Location is 10/10!

Very clean and well presented<br/><br/>Could do with an outside retractable washing line. Exceptionally hot in the bedrooms so electric fans would be good as no main window panes to open. Smell of damp in front bedroom and front room downstairs.

Location and size of the property was a determining factor.

The owner was charming and helpful. <br/>Very professionally run operation. We will return.

Fantastic house, very well thought-out and great location with sea views, parking and a short walk into Whitby. <br/>The owners the Vittys were very helpful and answered any questions we had during the stay. <br/>It would have been a 5 star review except for the one downside - Host&Stay require you to pay an additional security deposit or waiver outside of the Airbnb platform. They have written that somewhere on the listing but we didn't realise that until afterwards, it doesn't seem right when Airbnb has its own rules anyway and I've never had to pay extra external fees in that way with any other Airbnb booking.

Wonderful location and a fabulous house stocked with everything you might need. <br/>The owner called us when the house was ready and, as we were close by, took the time to show us round the house. <br/>We had a lovely stay

Absolutely loved the property! It was perfect for our Xmas get together with our family. The house was perfectly equipped, immaculately clean and very comfortable for all of our group of 9. We had a fantastic time and the dining and kitchen area were fantastic!<br/><br/>Nothing at all to comment on!

Excellent location with just a few minutes walk down cliff path to large peaceful sandy beach, and tremendous sea views from lounge and several bedrooms. Also just a short walk in to Whitby. The house was very well equipped with all sorts of extras like picnic mats, maps, games, large umbrellas, and very comfortably furnished. Beds were really comfortable. Large patio with plenty of chairs and two large tables, also large table in the kitchen/dining area which our group of 8- 10 could comfortably sit round together. Easy to get to wonderful walks on the Yorkshire moors by car.

Our stay at Bird’s eye view in Whitby was all we hoped for. With 3 people over 60 and 2 under 6 it accommodated all our needs. AMAZING views of the Whitby coast. <br/>Spotlessly clean and well equipped, very comfortable for families. Nice spacious and well designed lounge and amazing family kitchen with easy access to the garden. No bath for the little ones but managed to get them to shower. <br/>Big porch and hallway for storing all the coats for 7 of us and 2 car parking spaces. Very close walking distance into the town. We will definitely stay there again!

Spent a very special weekend in this amazing house, as a family group of 9 adults and we never felt on top of each other at all. There are sufficient bathrooms to never need a queue to form on a morning and lots of different areas that folk can find a quiet spot should they want "me time." We had a wonderful weekend, the view of the sea from the front of the property was only rivalled by the gorgeous tranquility of the open plan kitchen/diner, a fantastic area for a large group to spend quality time together. The contemporary, tasteful decor and presentation of the house was beautiful, the beds and bedding heavenly and we found every possible item we could possibly need in the kitchen/utility room even down to milk in the fridge and ice in the freezer. Between us we had 5 cars, 3 of which were catered for on the premises, and Iain went out of his way to ensure we felt welcome parking the others at his own home nearby. Can't wait to plan another trip to stay again, thank you!

Ian and Heather were brilliant hosts, Ian got in touch before the stay to check that we had all the information we needed and to suggest places to visit and things to do. This personal touch made all the difference, and was greatly appreciated after all of the (slightly annoying) automated email messages from Host and Stay. Ian kindly posted back our son's charging lead which he left behind! <br/>The house was warm and really well appointed with everything we could need. The spec of all of the appliances was first rate. Would definitely recommend this to any large family wanting to explore Whitby and the coast in a first class house.

What a truly fantastic Christmas we had at Bird's Eye View. I was desperate to stay here from your very first post saying you'd bought the property because I know that it would be phenomenal - and it was! This has been the most relaxing relaxing and enjoyable Christmas yet and I'm totally not ready to go home. Thank you for the attention to detail and making everything effortless.

Myself, my husband, children and grandchildren, 10 of us in total plus our small dog Maisy have enjoyed a fabulous weeks stay at Birds Eye View. The location of this beautiful property is perfect. With gorgeous sea views yet only a short walk to the town centre. The property has off road parking for up to three cars and a lovely, secure south facing rear garden. The house is finished to an excellent standard, with everything you need for a perfect holiday. So typical, of any Vitty‘s holiday property. We all absolutely loved our stay at Birds Eye View and will return!!

Wow! our first stay at Bird's Eye View and what a fantastic week we've had. The house has been fully tested by 6 adults, 4 grandchildren and 1 pooch. We have all absolutely loved it. Another beautiful Vitty property.
