Very close to the seafront and shops, the cottage is very cosy and the beds are great.<br/>The shower is a accident waiting to happen as inside cubicle my partner nearly slipped twice as so slippy. The mugs in the kitchen was very tea stained had to wash and scrub them and 2 of the glasses was cracked which they should of been checked. We got confirmation with key code and departure time was 12 noon but on other details was 10am as a error on there side it should be about customer and given the 12 noon departure. Paying ther 25.00 damage beforehand should be paid back as obviously regarding glasses etc was not checked after previous holiday makers

Great location a lovely little cottage, couple of points I would say - could have done with a mirror in top bedroom, more clothes hangers (only had 6 between 4 of us) and the light next to the kitchen table was broke in half on arrival and should have been removed by cleaners.

Just as described. Great central location.<br/>Bed in ‘blue’ bedroom was very comfy but very squeaky!! <br/>Would definitely return.

Loverly and cozy. Central. Clean.<br/>Host n Stay - terrible admin. No communication. No follow up. Had to call them for info on self check in on the way to cottage!! Problem with insurance, through wrong link sent. Insurance not on their Wen page.

Gawjus little Cottage in ideal location to all amenities.. we absolutely loved our short stay ther .. Cosy and Warm .. Would definitely stay At Jet Cottage again ?

Really nice apartment located in the heart of Whitby!

Location<br/>The heating kept turning off

Great little place in the heart of the town. Never more than 5 minutes from anywhere! <br/>Warm and clean and comfy beds with nice amenities. <br/>Only advisory would be for anyone with mobility issues the loft steps are quite steep and not the easiest to climb at times! <br/>And there wasn’t a huge amount of essential add ons such as toilet paper or dishwashing equipment or oven gloves-we did get some and leave them but just as a future note for anyone who does stay. <br/>Parking is available about a five minute walk away. <br/>The guide provided is great and detailed. If out of hours it’s not the most responsive but they are very helpful!

Very good

Fabulous location in Whitby, nicely presented little cottage, made good use of compact space, everything we needed, neat decor and good base for a stay in the town; near to bars and cafés. Parking and WiFi welcome too.<br/>Be aware of the additional charges for insurance. E-guide book is useful but has conflicting information on arrival and departure times. A few things broken or not working; front room light, door blind, window blinds. Wear and tear; could do with some maintenance and a deep clean.

The location, was very central but also quiet so best of both worlds<br/>The level of cleanliness wasn’t the best<br/>Cobwebs on the ceilings, sofa and chairs in the living area were very grubby and smelly!<br/>Along with the carpets<br/>Needs a deep clean <br/>Also no toilet roll holder in the bathroom, fitting was missing from the wall, very poor

overall a lovely, homey place to stay with a nice central location. had everything you'd need including some shower soaps. only possible downside is the volume of the blue bedrooms bed, it's incredibly squeaky so may be a problem for any lightsleepers/shufflers.

A great location and lovely little home away from home

Absolutely fantastic ?

Well presented property with everything you need, excellent location.

It was in whitby<br/>The door key jammed, would not release, made three calls before maintenance arrived late at night. Lock had been previously fixed, not changed, old key still in lock.<br/>No internal thumb lock fitted, isn't this a fire risk<br/>Bathroom light broke, settee dirty, not cleaned, throw had been placed over ot to hide.<br/>States free parking, it is but nowhere near cottage, its zone w

The cottage is very central & the bedrooms were both very comfortable<br/>Parking could be a challenge finding a space in our zone near the property but saying that it would not deter us from staying again

The location.<br/>15 years in holiday cottages & this is the 1st where a welcome basket was not given. No toilet roll, no washing up liquid. This was a poor start to the holiday.

Angela G.

On arrival we were given postcode to another Jet cottage that we tried code to get key but didnt work. Contacted agent who gave a different postcode. When i queried this he said it was the same location...but it wasnt. So didnt start our trip well hunting around whitby. Then into the cottage and our first impression walking in...very large stain on settee. Lots of mould around edges of shower. Toilet flush broken, resulting in having to take lid off citern and flush inside. Toilet smelt of urine on arrival. Stairs to top floor need to be pictured on website as very narrow and steep. However perfect location and with some TLC could be lovely

Brilliant location and quaint cottage.<br/>It wasn't very clean, carpets needed hoovering shower tiles and seals needed scrubbing. <br/>Furniture downstairs need a clean and I certainly wouldn't leave an oven glove looking like that one in my cottage.

Property location good<br/>Great beach & lots of lovely quaint shops<br/>Plenty of cafes & restaurants<br/>Lots of things could have been better. <br/>Uncomfortable beds; lack of essentials (ie: soap, washing-up liquid, crockery, glassware). <br/>Very bad dog odour within the property, feel a deep cleanse all over would clear this up

Great location, everything we needed was there<br/>Could have been because it’s nearly the end of the season, but some areas looked tired could do with deep clean <br/>Also the stairs up to the second bedroom are extremely steep, this should be mentioned on the website

Just lovely and it was at the heart of Whitby with easy access to everything in walking distance - The cottage is just lovely and had everything you need for a short stay - the coffee machine was just excellent and my son was excited to climb the steps to the attic bedroom. Wifi was good and we enjoyed a movie night on the TV - if you like chinese food, you HAVE to try Whitby WOK on the sea front opposite the arcades.<br/>The parking is obviously a problem in Whitby - so plan to park with the scratch card which is provided which is FREE - but plan to keep your car there as it is difficult to find an alternative spot. Whitby is hilly, so be prepared lots of walking in steep hills.

Very good

Location good shops and restaurants nearby<br/>Yard leading to property could be cleaner and the property <br/>Could much cleaner. No mattress protector on one of the beds <br/>Just a sheet did request for one to be dropped into property but never arrived. <br/>Beds were so uncomfortable and creaky

Beautiful cottage in a great location in Whitby! Everything was great and the host was very responsive as I changed my booking slightly a few weeks after the initial booking. Overall a great cottage and we had a lovely time!

The cottage the location<br/>The stairs to the attic no chair in the attic bedroom

The location was absolutely perfect.<br/>Parking and the availability, especially since zone W was not local to the property and was challenging with my disability.

Excellent location, close to the harbour, restaurants, shops etc. <br/>Lovely decor and well equipped.<br/>Mattresses old, soft and very uncomfortable. <br/>Bathroom door difficult to close.

Nice little cottage<br/>The smell of drains when we arrived . Parking miles away to take luggage

Lovely cottage in perfect central location. Close to sea front and all nearby attractions. Clean and spotless throughout, very comfortable. A little tricky to find close parking but an excellent guide is provided which discusses parking locations and a permit is provided to park nearby in designated zones. <br/>Overall a very nice stay and would love to return should we visit Whitby again in future.

The cottage was lovely. Unfortunately it did smell of dogs

Jet Cottage was perfect for our needs. It's centrally located to get around Whitby's landmarks/shops/restaurants, to/from the train station, etc. We found it to be nicely appointed and a peaceful and relaxing space to spend a few days. It looks just as shown in the photos and was generally quite clean (other than a couple of cobwebs and some pet hair). We would suggest a couple of improvements - the bedrooms are lovely, but the mattresses aren't great and could use toppers if not replacement The bathroom shower is really nice, but there's nowhere to put soap, shampoo and such; a caddy that hangs on the shower head would be a simple and helpful solution. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

A well equipped, great located apartment.<br/>Although parking vouchers were supplied, it was a long drag with suitcases.

Great little cottage perfect for a week away as a couple or with friends and dog friendly. The location is amazing just a couple minutes walk to local pubs, cafes, restaurants, the beach and more. Also there is plenty of parking available within walking distance.

We liked the quaintness of the cottage setting.<br/>The stairs to the attic bedroom, which were very steep and narrow, were unacceptable. A photo of these stairs is absent from the booking photographs, which must be deliberate. I have concern that the attic room actually fails the legal test for being referenced as a 'bedroom'. There is no safe means of escape from this space should there be a fire in the cottage and the stairs are not appropriate for such use.<br/>The cottage was, in reality, much smaller than represented on the photographs and therefore didn't provide an accurate picture of what we were paying for.<br/>There is no unloading or parking space nearby, so expect to carry your luggage for a long way. The free Parking Permit was pointless as you couldn't get parked up in the W Zone and this was a good walk away from the cottage in any event. Finding the cottage is challenging and is not clear on the booking details. It took us 15 minutes to establish where the cottage was whilst dragging around our luggage.<br/>The Management company sent numerous email messages before and throughout our stay, reminding us to leave at 10am on our departure day. How could we ever forget?! Its frustrating to receive such constant contact, especially at 8am on the day of departure.

All was good with our stay at Jet Cottage, the home is exactly as described and was so well located for its location in Whitby, we were quite happy with the home. The host had clear instructions on how to find the narrow laneway. As for parking, we were provided with scratch cards so that we could park our car nearby in the correct zone for which the parking pass was applicable. In the event we couldn't find an available space to park the car, St. Hilda's Terrace park and display car park was a good option.

We arrived as two couples, assuming we’d paid for parking within the booking fee (specific permits are needed). One permit was left for only two days of our 5 night stay. This resulted in us not only having to pay extra for parking (15 minutes walk away), but also 2 parking fines. We had thought our permit covered 5 days, hence the first fine. <br/>Meanwhile, we tried to buy permits from the host but they were the most unhelpful host we’ve ever had. <br/>Had the parking situation been made clear in the first instance, we probably would have been okay with it, but because of the hosts complete and utter incompetence, they ruined our only vacation of the year. <br/><br/>It’s a shame, as the cottage itself is lovely (though much smaller than expected - again, rubbish communication!) and the location of it is perfect. <br/><br/>Make an informed decision before you choose to stay at Jet Cottage, don’t get caught out and have to chase the host for answers. You’ll get nowhere and be left frustrated!

It had a smart TV and free wifi. Good location as was in the centre.<br/>Parking wasn't the best plus the directions they gave were awful, we actually had to ring the company to find where it was. Behind a cabinet there was someone else's bra, which showed they didnt hoover properly. In the top bedroom, the duvet and matress, were stained and looked like blood or ketchup stains were on it. Plus suspicious stains on the matress. Everywhere was dusty, duvets were too small for the duvet cover, radiator had stains on, microwave was rusty. Because of this I will be making a formal complaint.

Cosy cottage in the heart of Whitby. Comfortable rooms, good shower, practical, well laid out kitchen with all appliances and utensils available. Good TV with Netflix and wi fi.

Lovely little apartment in the heart of Whitby. Perfect for our short stay. <br/>The only challenge we faced was parking, but other than that, we had a fantastic time.

Love the location.

Lovely little cottage. Great location <br/>I would definitely book again<br/>Slightly too small for 4 adults (especially tue bathroom)

Lovely cute little cottage right in the thick of it. We had an awesome couple of nights - very cosy and homely. Would stay again

Lovely cottage right in the centre of Whitby. The cottage is located down a private alleyway so was also really quiet. <br/>It was lovely and clean, with most essentials provided. Good sized rooms and cosy living area. <br/>Would definitely recommend!

This was our first visit to Whitby and the cottage is really central and well located so you can walk to everything. It’s a bit tricky to find as it’s up a small alley off Flowergate, but it’s lovely inside and has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is good and you can see the sea from the top bedroom! The downstairs kitchen/sitting room is small but cosy and was absolutely fine for the 3 of us - plus the dog, who had the best time! We loved the walks, the beaches, the shops, the pubs and fish and chips from Magpies! Parking was pretty busy, even in February, but the vouchers given worked well. Some more glasses especially water/juice glasses would be useful. Looking forward to a return visit soon, thank you for a great few days!

A wonderful cosy cottage nestled right in the heart of Whitby. Great views of the water from the top floor, and brilliant location. Everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend away!

A lovely, clean little cottage in a great location.

We arrived to a beautiful cottage that was exactly as the pictures and perfectly situated for everything. It was a little hard to find but following the instructions we managed to find it tucked away down a small alley called a yard. The parking scratch card was invaluable and even though we couldn’t park as close as we liked the 5 minute walk was pleasant. We felt immediately at home and my daughter who’s birthday we were celebrating was happy to stay in the cottage in the evening so that’s what we did. We are looking to book again soon when the season is fully open

This place is a hidden gem! It is a little bit hard to find at first - you will definitely need their instructions to find it. The place itself was lovely - it had all of the amenities needed to have a lovely weekend. Everything in Whitby is within walking distance and the welcome guide the sent through was really helpful!

A lovely quiet corner of Whitby. Perfect location and very clean. Host was always quick to respond to and questions.

location was excellent<br/>it could have been cleaner. lots of dust behind the headboard and the upstairs bedding smelt foisty although it was white and looked clean.

A lovely cottage in the centre of Whitby. It’s a bit difficult if you travel by car as you need to drop your things off then find a place to park according the the guide provided. But once you find a space it’s only a very short walk. The place was very clean, and we had a nice view of the sea from the top bedroom! Very responsive and informative hosts.

The cottage was lovely and clean and in a great location. Perfect for a couple with a dog. I was really disappointed that we weren’t able to turn on the fireplace as this is one of the main reasons I booked this property. There were no obvious switches or controls and no instructions in the welcome book. I contacted Host & Stay 3 times to ask how to use it and was met with automated responses ignoring my question each time which was frustrating. Other than that it was perfect and I’d recommend!

Great location, if you arrive by train and in summer.<br/>Dark unlit alleyway, difficult to find in the rain. Alleyway sign difficult to see and poorly light from the street. It's not just this property but the whole area will be difficult to find parking slots. There should be a clear warning, don't come by car. No heating on arrival. Disappointed with Booking.com not pointing out you committed to paying a deposit immediately due to short booking time and having to accept T&C with a 3rd party called ''Superhog.com'' and admin fee for the pleasure of processing you card.

Great location, spotless accommodation and very comfortable. We will stay again

it was quaint , small but adequate!<br/>wasn’t cleaned properly, couldn’t park ! had a scratch card for one car ! 20 minute walk with cases to get to the property. we’re from Australia, a local I. Whitby and to explain how parking worked !

Lovely cottage in a great location!

The property is up a very narrow gunnel which is hard to find. But a cute little area when found. Very central.

We really enjoyed our time at Jet Cottage. It was a lovely location and communication throughout the booking process was easy and responses swift. <br/>We would definitely visit again.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking distance to everything. We were lucky and managed to find parking in one of the ‘W’ spaces and left our car there all weekend. We would stay again.

Lovely clean little cottage with a great location near to everything but so quiet at night. The beds were extremely comfortable & although small it had every thing you would need for a comfy stay.

Jett Cottage is exactly as described and pictured. It's a small property but this just makes it all the more cosy and quaint. The decor is really homely and the location of the property is amazing, right in the centre of everything. Being set back off the road means its still quiet and cosy. The property was clean and had everything you might need for a break away.

Fabulous location and very quaint cottage with everything one could need. WiFi excellent.<br/>The beds were way too soft and saggy for us. They just need new firm mattresses and the place will be perfect.

Central location accommodation was basic but clean<br/>Parking was a nightmare especially with a child we had to park half a mile away Heating was inadequate on top floor The stairs to the top floor are not suitable for children or anyone with mobility problems

What a fantastic quaint cottage in a perfect location in the centre of Whitby. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend this property to anyone as the finish is of the highest quality with all mod cons. Grab W parking in Flowergate if you can then your only minutes walk to the cottage with cases. Will definitely be back next year.

Location in centre<br/>Lack of waste paper basket in bedroom

Couldn't fault anything about our stay. The cottage was lovely exactly how it was described and the location was perfect. We would not hesitate to book again.

Absolutely cannot fault this cottage. The location is ideal. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle but so close to the centre of Whitby. Surrounded by gorgeous shops and a brilliant pub called “The little angel”. The cottage was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The second bedroom has VERY steep stairs so bare that in mind but was a wonderful sea view from the window. Comfortable temperature in the cottage and the sun beam doesn’t heat the building up as it’s tucked down an alley way. Great amenities in the cottage and quiet at night. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Made our first visit to Whitby wry special.

The cottage was perfect for our 3 day break. Great location. Comfy and cosy cottage with everything we required. Our 5 and 3 year olds loved it too. Great information from the host for arrival and departure and the info/guide app was brilliant. We would definitely return here for our next trip to Whitby.<br/>Nothing.

very clean<br/>nothing

Location, decor.<br/>Was not well equipped to cook and the oven didn’t work very well.

Ideal location, cosy and quiet.<br/>Parking was the issue.

Once I’d mastered the lock it was easy<br/>Nothing

Great location- easy access to the town and restaurants. Accommodation was great (tv Ariel didn’t work so could only log into BBC I played). Apart from that just perfect.<br/>Parking- little stressful on arrival when couldn’t find a space nearby. More spaces available later in the days the designated parking zones

Parking is an issue, scratch cards are provided for parking in w zones however in the description of the property it would lead you to believe that parking is guaranteed. This is not the case and after a fair amount of driving around in the summer holidays we happened to find a space. This then meant however that we felt we were unable to move the car during the duration of our stay as we were concerned we would not be able to get a space when arriving back. A walk to and from the car is a definite parking is not available next to the property. Secondly we felt our stay was tarnished by work being done outside the house (not the main hightstreet, in the actual alleyway outside the front door) starting every day at 7:30am this was not light building work but stillsaws/hammering general banging. No fault of the builders as they are doing the work they are hired for however this was right outside the front door of the property and the noise inside the house is at times like they are with you there. We felt awkward when leaving and coming back to the property as they would need to stop what they were doing and lay temporary planks to cover the trenches/holes they had dug for us to cross over. Had we been made aware of this work we would probably have decided to stay somewhere else. Thus work started on the first day and did not stop when we left again making it very awkward for everyone when they are trying to work and we are trying to load a car parked 5 minutes away continuously having to excuse ourselves to come past (we should not have to feel badly when we are paying guests). Lastly on noise the house has very thin walls you can hear the neighbours/ people passing by. Blinds would need to be shut to provide privacy and this included the bathroom.

Excellent cottage in a marvellous secluded but central location

well kept, clean and a great location in the town centre

Location perfect, short walk to everything.<br/>Parking was awful, long walk from where we could get parked to the accommodation.<br/>Bed matress to soft as I suffer bad back but not to the point it was a problem.

great standard of condition and furnishing, very convenient location.<br/>parking

ideal location- very close to town centre<br/>nothing

Nice and clean. Good facilities. Excellent location to shops and harbour.<br/>First floor bedroom mattress is a bit soft.

Very good

Location was excellent, clean, nice space, dog friendly<br/>Nothing it was great

the property was well located, right at the centre of the willage. parking cards were available.<br/>the property wasn’t cleaned at all. there were marks on the toilet, and the floor wasn’t clean.

This was booked for a trip for my grandparents.<br/>They had such a lovely stay, the property is in a central location with all amenities. <br/>A couple of things were not as “polished” as the photos but easily solved with a quick refresh.

Very good

Lovely cottage, exactly as stated in descriptions and extremely clean and tidy!

very cosy, perfect for 4 travellers, excellent location<br/>There is absolutely nothing to dislike about Jet cottage

it was cozy and clean had everything we needed and a great location<br/>nothing

Perfectly located in Whitby. A cottage with everything that you need for a comfortable short break. Communication was excellent and facilities were superb. I would definitely go back!

fab location and well equipped cute home... very much recommended.

cute & cosy, very central & quiet<br/>the biggest bed was on the top floor up the very steep steps. <br/>the bathroom door didn’t shut or lock.

Perfect location , cute and cosy cottage .

We cannot thank the team enough for making our stay so special! We loved the property and location - a sea view was a huge bonus. Thank you for this quiet gem.

Lisa L.

The agency where amazing and available at 21.30 .think the ladies name was Laura so helpful. List all info off my phone and she was straight on it.

Bed wasn’t long enough and poor repair to bed leg

Excellent location<br/>No en-suite. Bathroom extremely small

Great little cottage in ideal central location... sadly our stay was spoilt having been given the wrong parking scratch card by the host, whilst admitting it was their error they refused to cover the cost of the parking ticket.. Please read the small print on the parking scratch card to make sure it covers your length of stay..

We had a really enjoyable stay at Jet Cottage. The location is fantastic - just a couple of minutes walk from the sights of the harbour while tucked away in a quiet courtyard. The welcome information was excellent and had some very useful recommendations for local cafes. Thank you!

excellent can't wait until next time

Location was excellent compact and cosy .<br/>Think they need to replace the bed in the 1st bedroom .it had been repaired but it was very rickety.

This cottage was so lovely, in a great location and immaculate! We loved all the extra touches such as a coffee machine with pods and milk in the fridge for when we arrived. <br/>The team were always on hand if we needed anything.<br/>Nothing.

Lovely and clean little cottage , ample room for 4 people . Comfortable beds and good size bedrooms. Good location 2 minutes walk from the front .<br/>No mirrors in the bedrooms for women to get ready , no rack inside the grill pan

Centrally located in Whitby. Lovely quirky little 3 storey cottage. Tastefully furnished, clean, cosy & comfortable. Wonderful sea view from the top floor bedroom. Very quiet area, which was lovely.<br/>There was no storage in the kitchen area. We only stayed for 3 nights, we ate out each night, so only brought fruit, breakfast items & alcohol. However, if you were staying & not eating out each day, you would struggle to store any food. The fridge had no freezer compartment for ice/frozen food storage. Access to the 2nd floor bedroom was via a very steep narrow staircase. My parents, both in their late 70’s would have struggled with this. In fact, my husband & i (mid 40’s) had to be careful when going to the bathroom during the night, as this was on the first floor. I don’t remember there being any mention of the staircase within the description of the property.

From booking with my usual site ie booking.com this went down hill. I was repeated asked to supply ID which I didn't want to do. However I did get numerous messages about directions and how to access the cottage etc which were clear and concise. Parking was difficult as the town has a lot of one way roads and parking is on roads only marked with W for us. A couple of times round town and we found a spot for two days but quite a walk to the cottage. On finding the cottage we were greeted with a dirty access entry but stepping inside the cottage we thought it was quaint and appeared clean. It was not. Lounge area had a number of cob webs. The seating looked grubby and was not clean as crumbs etc were tucked into creases. Upstairs the bathroom was uncomfortably small with issues of maintenance incuding the toilot roll holder whicn had already fallen off the wall and the corner of floor were black as was parts of the shower cubicle.the stairs to top floor were far too small and steep although this room was ,larger than 1st floor bedroom. The windows couldn't be opened. 1st floor bedroom had major issue with the bed which had seen a lot of repairs and was the worst bed I have slept in. The furniture was mucky mouse and we didn't use them as bedside cabinets were also grubby inside.wardrobe was unstable. Blinds need maintenance. The location of this cottage was lovely so easy to get into town and the harbour and beach but for me it has a lot of maintenance issues which reading some older reviews have been reported previously but not attended to. Shame because it could be a cosy retreat even in winter

Its lo<br/>cation to everything was great but access to cottage was very poor. Litter, dirt untidy were your first encountered<br/>It was not cleaned to a standard expected and it has a lot of maintenance issues, including the bed which needs replacing.

Easy to use lock box.<br/>N/A

Lovely cottage, we were a party of 4 adults and 2 little dogs and it was perfect! The location is excellent, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and kitchen - cosy lounge area. We will 100% be staying here again<br/>Nothing to dislike

Well equiped<br/>Noisy because of builders

Absolutely loved our stay here! It's a beautiful little cottage, perfectly placed to explore the centre of Whitby.<br/>It's tucked away down a little alley and it makes it feel like you have a secret hideaway!

Very clean<br/>Beds were very uncomfortable one bed was literally nailed to get her to stop it falling apart

The cottage is immaculate, and very comfortable. The central location is great.<br/>The only issue was the difficulty finding a parking space in the designated area. I'm not sure how that could be resolved, but we seemed to spend a lot of time driving around in circles trying to find a space. On our final day, this proved impossible and we had to park at the leisure centre, which was quite a long way away.

The property was lovely, very clean and in a great location to explore Whitby. The owner provided a parking coupon as part of the price for street parking which was very much appreciated, where if available you can park your vehicle in a W zone of disc parking, which are located within 5 minutes walk of the property. We would definitely stay at this property again.<br/>Parking was difficult and we couldn't locate the blue bin for glass and plastics.

This place is ideally located and has over gone a lovely refurbishment since my last stay, comfortable and very well equipped.<br/>Really bad smell about the place, we bought Reed diffusers to try and mask it, worked out towards the end of our stay it was the drains so bleach was probably the answer! Also no mirrors in the bedrooms.

Beautiful cottage, easy access to the town centre.<br/>Only got given one parking permit so that was a bit stressful on the first day trying to find somewhere to leave another vehicle. <br/>Also some building work is taking place near the cottage so wheelbarrows of bricks/mud were being wheeled by the property leaving the entrance very dirty.

Location great<br/>The toilet was a little temperamental, cottage very small for 4adults

Jet cottage was clean and inviting in a central location down a pretty side entrance. It was tastefully decorated throughout and provided a comfortable base. <br/>The cooking facilities provided were good with a clean, roomy fridge. The beds were comfortable and there was central heating when required. <br/>We were able to contact the owner/ managers at any time and they always responded to our questions promptly. <br/>We would stay at Jet cottage again.

In the town centre<br/>The cottage was tidy inside but that was after you passed by the smelling bins. We did contact the management but nothing was done. The bins may still remain full!!<br/>There was no sanitiser on entry but the rooms were clean and tidy. Top staircase I feel is not safe but I they have informed. <br/>I feel that the cottage is for short stay so did not suit us.

We liked the location the cottage was very clean and comfortable we also found it to be nice and quiet contact from the hosts very good

The property was absolutely immaculate and in a fantastic location<br/>More mirrors needed in the bedrooms

Lovely well equipped cottage<br/>Nothing

Fantastic location, lovely little cottage. Would definitely recommend.<br/>Disappointed the cottage hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Dirty glasses and cutlery, cobwebs and dust…. Not the normal standard that we have experienced.

Very good

Location and standard of the decor and facilities

This cottage was cosy and well decorated, absolutely loved the look. Brilliant location within walking distance to everything really.<br/>A couple of things I didn’t like would be on first glance I noticed ALOT of cobwebs and dust gathered along all the ceilings and corners really which was disappointing considering such a lovely space to stay in at 160 per night you would expect it to be checked :( . Also the noise from the neighbours of which in our “rules” we were told to accommodate our curfew was a little loud which can’t be helped by the owner but just a comment. Overall we had a lovely stay though...

Excellent position and spotless<br/>N/A

good location and fantastic living experience

The cottage was lovely and cosy and in a great location to get to all of the local amenities. I would highly recommend.<br/><br/>Jess

Jet Cottage is a lovely gem of a holiday home in central Whitby. Decorated in calm, neutral colours and with nice furnishings. Clean and peaceful. Very comfortable beds. Thank you.

Very nice little cottage in a great spot, in the centre of Whitby but very quiet. Everything you need for your stay.

Great spot for all amenities

Great location and cottage was lovely and cosy, would definitely recommend and will be staying here again in the future!

Lovely cosy little cottage, would recommend and definitely stay there again

Lovely quaint cottage right in the centre of Whitby. Great location and amenities a high standard. Would<br/>Recommend.

Jet cottage is a really nice place to stay for a couple/2 couples or a few friends. Personally I wouldn’t go back with my family just due to the size of the property. It’s small, unfortunately my experience wasn’t the best when it came to parking with a little family, there are loading bays and an area you can park to take all your luggage in but then expect to park about 5-10 mins from the property and walk back). As far as comfort goes, the top bedroom expect a steep climb up and down the steps. <br/>I expected a nicer bed to sleep in to be honest for the price we paid. <br/>It was extremely clean and close to everything we wanted to do. I think there’s definitely improvements to be made but it was a really nice place as far as how clean and modern it is.

Although hard to initially find as its tucked down a side street and there is only a small gate in between 2 shops to access it, once we got in it was a lovely quaint little cottage that made you feel hundreds of miles away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby. The online pictures are ever so slightly stretched making it appear a bit bigger than it is, but this isn't really a problem.<br><br>The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay including tea and coffee and even a small bottle of milk on arrival.

We absolutely love Jet Cottage, cannot recommend enough! Fantastic location, but also nice and quiet. Bedrooms both so lovely and beds really comfy, always a bonus!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jet Cottage. It was in a great location and really easy to walk onto West Cliff and the town Centre. The parking is about 5 minutes away from the house walking so I’d suggest getting a loading bay when you arrive by the charity shop to easily unpack everything

Parking is a bit of a problem but the local pay & display car park is very reasonable so all good. Beautiful cottage, super clean, cozy and sweet. Many thanks

Good place

A wonderful place to stay in Whitby! This gorgeous cottage is tucked away down a little street so although it is right in the centre of town, you get very little noise. The cottage was decorated stylishly, and although it was petite, there is still room for our 6ft guest to stand! The top room offers a glimpse of the sea. The house was well stocked. The hosts were quick to respond to all of our queries and they had put careful thought in how to safely manage the virus. I would highly recommend.

Lovely, charming cottage with access to all that Whitby has to offer!

A great little cottage, exactly as in the photos, recently decorated & lovely & clean. Perfectly located with only a couple of minutes walk to the harbour & free on street parking 10 minutes away.<br/>The hosts communicate with you regularly & promptly to ensure you have all you need.<br/>We would stay there again if we revisit Whitby.

A lovely little holiday cottage right in the centre of Whitby, great location to all the local shops and pubs but still quiet and secluded.<br/><br/>Very clean and stylish throughout, would recommend to anyone visiting Whitby

Home Truths

Jet Cottage is located on a narrow walkway just off Whitby's central Flowergate. It can be hard to miss so look out for Oystons Yard.

Due to the nature of the property and it's central location, the cottage is on the cosy side.

Free parking is provided but this will be a few moments from the property.

The master suite on the second floor has sloped ceilings so please mind your head as you navigate around the room.
