Lovely stay at Oasis Cottage over the Easter weekend. Busy weekend with the scooter rally but despite this and the close location to the town, it was really quiet. Very clean, all amenities provided. Just be aware that the streets leading to the cottage are narrow and if you have a big car, you’ll need to take your time to park at the property. Once parked though, it’s great to have a parking space at the cottage - we would definitely book again.

Great little place. Perfect location, close to shops and restaurants and beach as well as other parking. It is a small back lane to park but fine we parked the other car in nearby car park which was free in the winter. Would highly recommend to family’s or a group of friends!

Very well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with excellent shower, good wifi, good location, own parking space. Close to shops, cafes and pubs. Modern furnishings and well-decorated.<br/><br/>Accessibility is difficult if you have restricted mobility - steep steps down to front door and extremely steep internal spiral staircase. No toilet on top floor and steep stairs means it’s unlikely to suit small children or older people. Also property is quite dark with some windows frosted out. Vehicle access is via an extremely narrow lane which was blocked several times by other drivers, bins etc.

Nice decor, great location.<br/>Bedrooms were clean and comfortable<br/>Wonderful shower.<br/><br/>Downstairs toilet was dirty on arrival with reminents of the last use in it. There was no toilet roll or soap in it and some dirty linen left on top of the bin.<br/><br/>There was no soap or washing up liquid in the kitchen.

Oasis Cottage was the perfect accommodation for us. We had our two children, aged 10 and 15 with us and the house was just perfect. First impressions was how clean everything was and how all the appliances were in great condition. Set across 3 floors with picturesque spiral staircase both children had their own bedrooms which gave them their privacy. The Host was excellent, ultra responsive and always on hand...not that we needed them because everything was perfect.<br/>Oasis Cottage is one of the best air bnb's we have stayed at and is perfectly located. A few minutes walk in one direction takes you to the clifftops and the beautiful beaches and a few minutes walk the other way takes you into the centre of Whitby, with the Abbey as a stunning backdrop. . <br/>A perfect family cottage in a beautiful place, I would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage. Well equipped. Decorated and furnished to a high standard. Perfect location - central to the town but in a quiet street and with parking. Excellent base for walking the North Yorkshire coastal path

We had a perfect stay at Oasis Cottage. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 and was clean and with all the amenities that we needed. Each of the bedrooms had nice big windows letting the sunshine in. The location was excellent for getting in and out of Whitby and a walkable distance to everything. I’m glad we were warned that the streets near the cottage were narrow because they were very tight and wouldn’t accommodate a larger car without some stress. I would be happy to stay here again if we visit Whitby in the future.

Had a fantastic weekend at this lovely little cottage, which is decorated to a high spec and has great little touches like biscuits and tea bags. It’s also in a great location to explore Whitby

Great place in a lovely location- everything was in a walkable distance. Cottage had everything we needed<br/>Street to access parking was a little tight but we still managed to get 2 cars on the driveway. Would go back :)

Pretty comfortable house. Had everything we needed and it was in a good location in Whitby. Despite the most annoying hosts, I would stay again.<br/><br/>Bath drain was totally blocked when I arrived and I had to personally unblock it with a fork (fishing our hair from previous guests). <br/> <br/>I also thought the hosts were one of the worst hosts I’ve ever experienced. I estimate I had over 50 emails from them before I arrived. Think it’s pretty shocking that after you pay on booking, they then hound you for additional fees. They weren’t accommodating either in terms of check outs (they want you out by 10, no flexibility).

Spot on holiday cottage very close to Skinner Lane(Botham's, etc) and West Cliff - which was excellent for taking Lola for a morning walk...

House was beautiful, location great just a shame of the company that hosts the lovely house. <br/>Very arrogant, short, rude and obnoxious. <br/>Please be aware of the small print, of deposits and wavers. £250 deposit 2 weeks prior to stay which isn’t really that noticeably stated and don’t get the refund until 2 weeks after your checkout. On top of this their is a £10 administration fee for paying/returning your deposit or you have the option not to pay the £250 deposit plus £10 administration charge and just pay a one of £25. Money making at its finest. <br/>Fortunately we could afford to go without £250 for 4 weeks but for some this could be their spending money. <br/>However as said great house and location just a pity about the company running it

Lovely house and location. Our only criticism would be that it would benefit from a WC on the top floor.<br/>And ‘the host’ needs to stop bombarding their guests with texts and emails during their stay!!!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful from top to bottom. It was decorated to a really high standard and spotless, the bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. This was in a perfect location, we will definitely return next year.

Great place close to the town and the beach. Parking is right outside the property and easy to get to even if the entrance road is a little tight. Everything was provided that we needed, just had to hunt around for the hair dryer!

Perfekt gelegenes Cottage für Erkundungen in Whitby, 5min zu Fuss zu Pubs, Läden usw. Bäckerei um die Ecke. Enge Zufahrt, Beschreibung beachten, geht mit etwas Aufpassen aber ohne Probleme. Zu beachten: Haustiere sind zugelassen, deshalb leichter Hundegeruch im ground floor zu riechen (hat uns nicht gestört).

Comfortable accommodation in a great location, just right for walking everywhere. Stayed with two couples and a baby and had enough space. Advertised crib did not include a mattress. Street was indeed tight to drive down but parking space was ample; a perk in Whitby to have a dedicated space. Good amenities and easy check-in/check-out process. Would recommend.

The property itself couldn't be faulted. Clean and had everything we needed really. Also it was right in the town centre, but still only 5 mins from the beach or park for our dog.<br/><br/>The only thing I would add would be a short description of how to find the property from host and stay. The satnav took us to the back lane and our cottage wasn't numbered.

Lovely cottage, perfect, quiet location and very clean. <br/>Cannot fault communication, even received an online ‘guidebook’ on what to do/see, where to go etc. <br/>Parking space was quite tight to get to (down narrow street) but plenty big enough for an estate car once in.

Excellent location in the centre of Whitby, just a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. A lovely bakery nearby. Cottage was very clean and had a good shower! Parking was a little tricky as tight spaces but we werewarned about this in the literature. Had a great stay.

Beautifully renovated wee cottage, well equipped. Lovely big main bathroom (but be aware, while it's conveniently across from the master bedroom, it's down a level of the spiral staircase for the other two bedrooms).<br/><br/>The upstairs bedrooms are beautifully bright and the kitchen has pretty much everything you could need.<br/><br/>An easy walk into the heart of town (it's uphill on the way back, but that's the case for most of Whitby - it shouldn't be a problem for most people).<br/><br/>It's great to have a space to park the cars. The approaching lanes are quaint - and narrow! But navigable with normal care.<br/><br/>We loved our stay here and would certainly not hesitate to book the cottage again if we go back to Whitby.

This was a lovely stay - perfectly located, clean and tidy, freshly decorated, and decent value. Everything we needed and more. <br/><br/>We were a group of three friends visiting for the weekend. The house was big enough that it didn’t feel like were on top of each other, but I think it may have felt crowded with any more (beds could have accommodated another two).<br/><br/>Nothing major, but parking wasn’t great. Fine once in, but very narrow streets and tight corners. We were in an SUV and struggled.

We enjoyed our stay here. The highlights were the powerful shower and the comfy beds. It was a very quiet house with no neighbour or street noise. The Host and Stay team were very efficient and all the information you could want is to hand. The cottage is in a very central area, handy for bars and shops. <br/>Downsides were that I did find dog hairs getting onto my suitcase or anything we put down on the carpets and there was a bit of an odd smell in the downstairs area. The key safe was a bit tricky to use as it's slightly broken but apart from that the check in was smooth. The road leading into the street is extremely narrow although once you're in, the parking space is big enough for a large vehicle. <br/>We loved Whitby and the cottage was a short walk back from town. Highly recommend the coast walk to Robin Hood's Bay.

A beautifully furnished house within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. It was lovely and clean, the kitchen is really well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches like tea, coffee etc. I would highly recommend this property, we had a wonderful stay.

Couldn’t recommend oasis cottage more! Such a beautiful house with plenty of room, all amenities were great and house was spotless. Really good location with a very short walk to both the beach and the centre of Whitby. Would 100% stay there again if I was going to Whitby. Host was really lovely as well :)

Oasis Cottage is in a wonderful location in the West Cliff area of Whitby, just a few steps away from many independent shops and cafes on Skinner Street. The seafront and town centre is only a few minutes walk away so it is ideally located yet in a very peaceful location.<br/><br/>The house itself is nicely decorated and comes with all the amenities you could need. 2 good sized double rooms plus a good sized single room, lovely bathroom and cosy downstairs open plan living/dining/kitchen area, plus downstairs toilet off the small porch area. <br/><br/>There is a parking spot although it is a little bit tight for larger cars. The garden area is very small but there is a table and chairs there and it is a pleasant little spot to sit out and have a drink in the sunshine.<br/><br/>The spiral staircase may be a challenge for some people but other than that I cannot fault the cottage at all.<br/><br/>I would absolutely recommend Oasis Cottage to anyone thinking of visiting Whitby.

The Cottage was lovely and clean and was beautifully decorated and furnished. The house was well equipped and the Whitby ginger choc chip cookies were delicious! It was only a 5 minute walk in to town and the house had the bonus of a parking space. An excellent stay and world definitely return.

Perfect location. Lovely house. Very clean and very nicely decorated. Was difficult to find at first and a little awkward to park up if you're in a big vehicle but we would definitely stay again although we'd come in the fiesta next time.

This is a very comfortable and welcoming little cottage. It’s a perfect location for the centre of Whitby. <br/>The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in Whitby. The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location. 2 mins from a great bakers and coffee shops. We were also very lucky to find somewhere so central with parking.

Oasis Cottage was the perfect location for our girls trip to Whitby. We were close to the sea, coffee shops, the abbey and the Cleveland national trail if you like walking. The cottage itself was clean and very cosy - the seagulls make themselves known at night so I’d recommend earplugs! Would recommend and would stay again! Thanks for a great stay :)

We booked 3 nights with our grandsons 8 and 13 all in all ok , very tight parking , broken dishwasher, toaster on the way out , spiral staircase all the way up difficult if older or younger kids . Seagull noise unbearable all night as the main window in double room doesn't close properly to attempt to muffle noise , also if you light sleep the bedroom is next to your neighbours living room , so if they are up till after 2.00am nightmare . Good bits well situated for town , loved the bathroom , the loo downstairs is good but no washing for hands .

This is a lovely and comfortable, well-equipped cottage. Ideally placed in Whitby, and just round the corner from Botham's Bakery, so ideal for the morning breakfast run of croissants!! Accessing the cottage is tight if you have a large car but having off-street parking is a massive bonus. We managed to get a both a large car (Audi Q5) and small car (Peugeot 107) on the driveway. <br/><br/>We had a lovely family meal at Casa Nostra and celebrated our wedding anniversary at Star Inn The Harbour - definitely recommend both.

Oasis cottage was perfect and in an ideal location for us! it’s literally up an ally from Skinner street so next to loads of little cafes and shops! Cottage itself was one of the best equipped Air BnB’s I have stayed in and you could easily stay there and eat in all week! Slept perfectly each night and bed was super comfortable! Bathroom was lovely and sparkling clean. I liked the touch’s of cleaning stuff already being there so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own! Little courtyard at the front is perfect to sit in the morning with a coffee and is a real sun trap! Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Whitby !!! Thanks so much!

We had a brilliant time exploring Whitby and the surrounding area with Oasis Cottage as a base.<br/><br/>The house was spotless and everything worked really well. Despite being empty for some time before our arrival due to Covid-19 restrictions, the property was warm, inviting and felt very comfortable.<br/><br/>The cottage is just a short hop to Skinner St with lovely one-off shops, and then just a little further into town and the beachfront. The neighbours were friendly and the information provided was very accurate and comprehensive.<br/><br/>Would love to come back!

A lovely little cottage in a great location

What an absolutely stunning cottage in an excellent location just a short stroll from the lovely town of Whitby. The cottage is immaculately clean and seems brand new with some beautiful features such as a wet room in the bathroom and 3 lovely bedrooms. The kitchen is really well set out and there is a lovely spiral staircase taking you up 3 floors to the bedrooms. An additional feature is the car parking space on a drive at the front of the cottage. We had an excellent short break in this exquisite cottage which I would highly recommend.
