Clean, modern and comfortable

Driveway. Very difficult to get 2 cars due to wall and angle. Front and back garden is a real mess. No gates and one side no fencing so not enclosed for pets or children. Annoying barking dog next door.

Lovely home, ideal for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area.

The house was nice and bright and in a good location. It was clean and facilities provided were acceptable. The driveway was a steep incline but it was good to have off street parking. Pannett park was a 5 minute walk away and was great for the children.

The road outside was a little noisy when in the front bedrooms. The garden was overgrown with weeds, would have looked a lot nicer with the garden tidied. Only one toilet roll per bathroom was provided, a spare would have been nice.

A lovely property set for a holiday let but we had a coupled minor niggles. Firstly on arriving we were expecting 2 parking spaces, no chance on this earth of getting 2 normal sized cars on the drive, listing should be updated. We did have one small car which we managed (just) to park in the garage, with the other on the drive.
Secondly we found a used vape under the bottom sheet in one of the beds, only found when getting in bed and lying on it, not great. And lastly, when we attempted to use the dishwasher we found that the door wouldn’t shut properly.
Having said all that we had a nice stay, it’s a fairly central location and we found it well equipped for our group of 6 adults. WiFi and tv good so, all in all a decent stay.

We stayed in Puffin Too with another couple for a short 3 night break. The house was well presented throughout and comfortable.
The bedrooms were lovely and it was great that we had a bathroom for each couple.
The kitchen was reasonably well appointed, although cooking for 8 (which the house can hold) may be a tricky as there were no large saucepans. The dishwasher door was broken which we reported to the host, who swiftly responded to say it was still usable - hopefully this will be fixed soon for future visitors. It was great to be able use the Nespresso coffee machine (and pods), range cooker and lovely china.
The location is great, within walking distance of the Whale Bones on West Cliff, the town and harbour, and the Abbey.
The property details say that there are 2 parking spaces, but we weren't able to fit our 2 mid-size cars there, so had to park one up the road. A small car and a large car would be able to fit, however.

Well equipped, good size and location.

I have stayed in this property before and by comparison this time was disappointing. Upstairs bathroom needed sweeping, both toilets needed cleaning and there was breakfast cereal under the dining room table. I reported chipped crockery during my stay as there was at least 3 plates we came actually with chips.

The house was lovely. Liked the layout of living room, dinning ,kitchen as it was open plan so we were always together as there was 7 of us . The bedrooms were spacious, the beds very comfy .
All the amenities iron, ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher etc . The host and stay experience were good . Kept me informed about everything I needed to know about the property Any problems Ryan sorted it out within minutes

The walk back from the town because of the uphill walk .

Great location, clean and modern house. Nice sized property. It was great for two families of three. The house was perfectly located in Whitby. Quiet location, but close to the seafront and close to the park. Great holiday location. And great property. Highly recommend.

Spotless rooms, kitchen had everything you need.

Great location for the kids, there's an excellent park a few minutes away.

Whitby bay is only a ten minute walk, quite steep hills so something to bear in mind.

Dog was yappy next door but not alot the owners can do about that ?

Lovely accommodation, lots of room for all of us, well furnished, great location, a few minutes walk to either beach or shops.

Only slight downside was house on busy road- if you are light sleeper and need windows open at night it is hard to sleep but there is a back bedroom which is better. Some fans would be helpful as v hot when we were there.

Really enjoyed the stay, house was very nice with nothing major to complain about. In a good location with the town centre of Whitby and the beach within walking distance (around 15 mins). The only point to note is the driveway is steep and a bit awkward to park cars on but we managed it ok.

Great place to stay, just a short walk to everything of interest in Whitby. Beds extremely comfortable, bathrooms very clean, showers excellent. Open plan kitchen dining living area at rear was great for socialising. Garden only factor that could be improved (limited space to sit outside and enjoy sun), however, we didn't book a Whitby house to sit in garden, as far too much to do instead. Overall highly recommended.

Nice and spacious house. Be aware that the driveway is very steep. Also they charge extra for accidental damage cover!

Nicely maintained property, very comfortable beds and well equipped. Walking distance into town and off street parking (although it is a very tight drive). Generally good quality and everything worked well. As this is a company not a private individual hosting I felt the experience was a little less personal (no milk or anything left in the fridge) and a bit more officious than I have come across before. You also need to go through an online verification process and leave a damage deposit/waiver.

I liked the bungalow was detached and had its own drive, it felt very spacious inside and had 4 big bedrooms and two bathrooms - Decor modern and everything you need for a comfortable stay
beds were so comfy

whoever cleans only cleans where you can see, all
under the deters we’re very dusty, mirrors not cleaned properly, I felt it needed a deep clean not a surface clean
the drive is narrow and on a busy road we had a 4x4 and it wasn’t the easiest to reverse on too, it says parking for 2 cars that would be two small cars only

Joanne

Good location, clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was that we couldn’t access the Wi-Fi which was a bit of a pain with 4 twenty year olds but it didn’t spoil our experience overall

Excellent stay at this very spacious house.
I stayed with three other friends whom all commented on how nice a place it was.
Everything is available there if you need it even tea coffee and sugar. Milk was in fridge as well to have a cuppa when we arrived.
All bedrooms where spacious, beds very comfortable and clean.
A bathroom downstairs as well as upstairs. All very clean with plenty of towels and toiletries available.
Plenty of room in living/dining area.
Off road parking and only a 10/15 minutes walk into Whitby.
Also Cinder Track is only a few minutes walk away.
Would 100% recommend and will be coming back in future.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

Big comfy beds, well equipped, lovely decor, spacious.

Driveway was steep and it would be very difficult to fit two cars (we only took one car).
The dishwasher was defective (plastic latch on tablet dispenser was broken) - tried to email the ‘host’ twice to report it but the message was undeliverable. Also the downstairs bathroom door needs adjusting as it makes a very loud noise when opening the door.

We stayed here for a family trip and were really pleased with this accommodation. The house itself is nicely decorated, all the rooms and fittings are in good condition, and the space is large and well-laid out. We were particularly pleased that all four bedrooms are equally spacious so everyone was happy with their room! The location was ideal, easily accessible by car or public transport, quiet, but just a short walk to the centre of Whitby. This was great value and we would gladly stay here again.

The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was clean with good facilities. Bathrooms were clean and shower worked well

There were a number of issues. The floors had quite a lot of bits on, suggesting a lack of vacuuming. The rear door was difficult to close and lock. The downstairs bathroom door was difficult to close and had to be slammed to shut and lock it. I had my 85 y o mother with me and she found the steep drive difficult to negotiate and this wasn’t mentioned in description, neither was steep rear garden which she couldn’t access at all. The bins were full to overflowing when we arrived, they were smelly and there were a lot of wasps as a result, the bins were right by rear door and access to garden, they clearly hadn’t been emptied for some time and it was left to us to push a heavy, over full bin down a steeply sloping drive. I informed host and stay staff who said they had informed owner but owner arrived during our stay and he said he hadn’t been informed re: bins and bathroom door issue.

The location was excellent, parking a squeeze for 2 decent sized cars but great that we could both park at the property. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of crockery and utensils with good seating arrangements. Very clean on arrival, smelt very fresh, very well maintained on the whole and lovely bedrooms.

Down stairs bathroom needed refreshing, the paint was peeling off the walls
We had our 2 grandchildren staying with us both very young (3 and 1 yrs) no facilities for them I.e. cots or highchair so had to bring them with us, however this didn’t detract from the overall stay

Really lovely house. Easy to get to and very comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay. Only slight quibble is the house next door has a small dog that barks day and night. Didn’t bother us but the neighbours on the other side weren’t very happy with it!

Well-located property in Whitby with a high standard of decor and cleanliness. Good sized rooms - 4 spacious double bedrooms, 2 good sized bathrooms (with a great shower) and a comfortable spacious living space for the 7 of us. Well equipped kitchen. It was easy to walk into the centre.

There was just about parking for 2 estate cars but one of the spaces was very awkward with a wall to negotiate.
