Really good location to stay in Whitby. Responsive host. Clean and tidy apartment. One big highlight is the secure undercroft car park, which is quite rare in the area.

Nice location, spacious and good beds. Handy for parking. Very nice.

Could do with better kitchen ware. Pans were tired. What we didn’t realise when we booked was that there was an additional damage deposit to pay. This is fine except they take a £10 administration fee. We understand that they need a damage deposit but it should be included in the original booking costs. Apart from that, it was very good.

Great little flat, just what we wanted - a base whilst we enjoyed Whitby. Lovely view over the river with the boats and 10 min walk to the center.

Very comfortable near to the centre dog friendly ?

There is a washing machine but found no where to dry clothes.

Location and apartment, great parking

Cleaning could have been better. Couldn't use the heating as instructions incorrect for the type of model in the bedrooms. We were cold.

Location was great, the parking was secure and the views from the apartment was the best you could wish for

Heaters in the bedroom were hard to figure out and couldn’t open the main bedroom window

Location, lovely views.

Double bed mattress doesn't fit the size of the bed frame, too small.
Too many messages from the holiday agency, lots of reminders about leaving, with threatening fines if you leave late.
£250 damage deposit taken a week before arriving. Waiting for it to be returned.

Secure parking - excellent, and a short walk to the town centre and attractions. Very quiet. Biscuits, tea, coffee, sweets, crisps on arrival. Lovely hot water for a deep bath after walking up and down those 199 steps and streets. Nice to watch the birds, and possibly a seal, in the morning. Excellent communications from the hosting firm.

We only stayed two nights, so one toilet roll was fine for the 4 of us, maybe another would have been put out if we'd stayed for longer?

The apartment was just lovely but it could have done with a good dusting

Except for the dust there was nothing we did not like

Loved it here. It was perfect. Had everything you could ask for. Amazing attention to detail. I loved sitting looking out of the window it was so peaceful. Dog friendly which was a bonus. Very good value for money with just a short walk into centre of Whitby. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you

We had a lovely stay. Location was perfect. Only a short stay and didn’t eat at the flat but we did notice that the kitchen was well stocked if we needed to use it.
Lovely view of the river but unfortunately didn’t see any seals.

Fantastic location, great views. Nice and clean. Lovely deep bath. Well equiped kitchen (could do with tongs and microwavable jug)

Unable to work out the heating, hob could have done with instructions. Beds a bit soft. Felt unable to use the washer as a unconnected water pipe was on the floor. TV a bit glitchy.

Perfect location. Accommodation was clean, well equipped and comfortable.

Beautiful, spacious apartment. Excellent location, parking. Lovely to hear seabirds just outside and very peaceful. Hardly any traffic noise. Just a lovely, peaceful space with excellent facilities.

Fantastic apartment, it is clean, spacious, well equipped, quiet and close to the town centre with lots of pubs and places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home as soon as we arrived.

Everything was as expected because of the detailed description and communication was 2nd to none

We had a lovely weekend.
Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at Seal Watch… it definitely lived up to it’s name, as on the morning of us checking out 2 seals ? appeared outside our window, scouting for a meal ?
We learned 2 new bird species, Redshanks and Turnstones, right on the jetty outside the apartment!
The hosts were very responsive with anything that was asked of, a xmas tree and decorations was a lovely surprise, plus music and goodies!
We enjoyed the 10 min walk into town, with plenty to see and do, even joined in the Boxing Day Dip ? not to be missed traditional spectacle, and atmosphere!

The apartment was lovely and tidy and felt very cosy with the Xmas tree and lights up . You have your own free parking aswell in a secure garage .they had plenty of facilities in the house. We Loved it would definitely recommend and would definitely stop again .?

No breakfast

Everything was lovely

Really lovely place to stay. Everything was nice and clean, very comfortable and warm. A safe parking spot was ideal. Beautiful views and a short picturesque walk to town. Would definitely go again

Location was good, parking was very handy.

Host and Stay are difficult to deal with, way too many emails. After you pay they force you to take out and additional insurance policy (why not include that in the price) or freeze money in your account. Thier system made it very difficult to take out the policy multiple attempts and messages to Host and Stay.

The space in the apartment and the location.

The view from the apartment was fantastic. Great apartment - everything you need. Parking space was a plus, too.

The bed in the master bedroom - mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows were feathers I dislike feather pillows.

Great location only an 10 Minute walk to the centre of Whitby and lovely view over the harbour, you could also see the sea. The apartment was a good size for us and our 2 dogs. It was clean and tidy and we would stay again the parking was a bonus it made everything so easy without having to worry about our car.

Really recommend staying here, beautiful views and excellent location.

Very clean and everything that you need is provided. Lovely little touches of complimentary biscuits, crisps and chocolates. Nice touches such as providing tea, coffee, washing up liquid, hand soap and hand cream. A short walk into town.

The bed is small.

Set in a good location, not far from town centre
Big bonus is having private secure parking
Accommodation, spacious , very clean and excellent relaxing onto harbour view

Stayed here for the second time so that says it all ??

When taking a shower ? the shower head kept tilting forward so you have to keep adjusting it

Perfect location, lovely views, nice walk into the centre of Whitby
Apartment itself as described ,nicely decorated, comfortable furnishings.
Kitchen well equipped.
Noted a small tear in a dining chair on arrival, would have been good to be made aware of this prior as think we would have been blamed for it and lost the damage deposit we had paid otherwise.
Main bedroom was nice but lots of dust and fluff under the bed despite it being a metal frame and easy to clean under.
Asked the host re replacing feather pillows and was advised they would ask the team to deal with it- no further contact from anyone following this which was disappointing.
Damp smell in the second bedroom throughout our stay. Also one of the clean towels that had been left in that room was dirty and smelly.
Bathroom had lots of mould on the ceiling, walls and floor.Extractor fan did nothing and heater dirty.Shower screen non functioning.
Window in living area opened by itself, had to do makeshift repair to close

The welcoming gifts on entry the views of the river. Very comfortable sofa and beds. Very quiet location speed of lifts. Use of tablet to make checking in and out easy.

Unable to open windows

The location a short walk from the town centre was really good. The car parking space was a bonus too.

The property could have been cleaner. For example toothbrush stains from previous occupants were still in the holders in the bathroom and the kitchen cupboard fronts needed a wipe.

How clean and close to everything in Whitby

Excellent place to stay, short walk to the main centre of Whitby or you could stay nearby, plenty of pubs and restaurants close by to eat at.
Nice clean apartment with everything you could possibly need for a nice relaxing break. We will definitely be back.

We loved the location of the apartment and the easy to access parking spot. It was very tastefully decorated with gorgeous bedding. Lovely treats awaiting us too x

The only thing that I would change is to swap the washing machine for a dishwasher as I personally hate washing up on holiday!

The location was great and the free parking an asset. The apartment is quiet and out of the way of the rowdy pubs further in town! Great view over the river too.

The bond we had to pay which was hidden in the small print of the booking was a negative.

A great flat in a superb location. It had all the amenities we needed including a parking spot which is unusual in Whitby. Would definitely recommend

The apartment was like a home from home, very comfortable and well kept. Location was ideal.

As we were 2 couples who travelled separately, only having 1 car parking space at the property was not ideal. We had to park our 2nd car about 1 mile away to get reasonable car parking charges for our 4 night stay.

The flat was perfect for our needs - clean, comfy, with two bedrooms, nice sitting room and kitchen, in a great location, right on the river. It was about 10 min walk from the middle. We would definitely go back. Thanks very much.

The only down side was getting the keys on arrival - it was extremely tricky! There were 5 lock boxes by the front door, none were numbered with the flat number, and we had been given the wrong code. Not what you need at 11pm. It felt like an escape room! Very stressful start.

After 10 mins of trying every lock box repeatedly, we rang the emergency number. The woman on the phone was very helpful and got us in.

Lovely location. Parking space was a huge bonus.

Bathroom needs some work. Shower head would not stay up making it difficult to use. Would benefit from a handrail for senior guests like ourselves. Tiles could do with regrouting in places.

The apartment was comfortable and just what we wanted. Good views of the tidal river and the North Yorks Moor Railway across the river. We could watch the steam trains during the day. Also there was secure parking and a level walk into Whitby Town Centre.

The lock box was not easily identifiable from the other four adjacent to it. We found some sand on the floor next to the bedroom dressing table. Also a couple of the kitchen cupboard doors needed a better clean.

Great location with parking is a winner ? well equipped kitchen.

Only a little thing but when we arrived there was a black bag of rubbish by the door so we thought the cleaning people were still there so we went for a walk. When we came back it was still there so I knocked on the door and went in as it was unlocked but nobody was there.
Also there was a note on the living room window saying not to open as very stiff and we could have done with some fresh air in the evening.
Other than that, it was lovely and wouldn't stop us staying here again.

Private and secure parking
Fairly quiet and secluded
Having access to a washing machine was a bonus
Heaters worked well for drying washing
Spacious
Lots of room to store your belongings

Flat felt claustrophobic
Windows were difficult to open and close which added to the claustrophobia effect (hence, no fresh air in flat)
Advised not Tom open the main living room window at all
Nowhere in the literature did it say that we would be 3 floors up which was difficult with our dog to get him to the loo!
Flat was a bit grubby and dusty (some kitchen utensils had to be washed before use)
Sky TV worked very intermittently, not good reception, couldn’t really watch tv at all
Shower screen did not stop water from going onto bathroom floor as the shower head would not lock in position
Didn’t like the signing in to the ‘big brother’ iPad on arrival
Got very fed up of all the emails that were sent prior to our holiday (must have been about 25 until we phoned and asked for them to stop!) Host and Stay made themselves a nuisance
Instructions not clear on where to park and which security box to use to access the key to the flat (not labelled)
Too much reliance probably on the 85 page guide book to be accessed through a smart phone which we don’t have (most of the content was unnecessary pictures anyway)
No separate internal recycling boxes
Floor a bit slippy for the dog (he had to be careful when moving around)
Lack of a nonstick frying pan
Lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes/towels
Heated towel rail was too small for two bath towels
Towel arrangements not good (two large bath towels provided and one stained hand towel which we didn’t use)
Fitted sheet and mattress protector too small for bed (uncomfortable)
Bed soft and unsupportive as mattress was worn out, misshapen and stained!
View from the third floor bedroom and living room was of a large car park with ‘goings on’ some nights, involving police vans etc! Not the pretty boat scene and the quay side as in the advert for the property
Not the sort of accommodation that we’d stay in again nor recommend
All in all, not good value for money (£1200 + paid for 10 nights

The underground parking was a big bonus, It was approx a 6mins walk into the centre of Whitby but was so quiet in the apartment overlooking the river.

Nothing to dislike

Great location. The apartment was comfortable, had most things we needed. Secure parking underground a bonus as limited parking in Whitby. Bed very comfortable & super clean. Bathroom acceptable. Kitchen well supplied & clean.

There was no toilet paper supplied. There were crumbs all over the floor underneath the dining room table. the whole apartment needed to be dusted. Not impressed about having to pay a non refundable security bond. We were travelling from Australia and the only viable option we had was to pay an extra $50.00.

Great location. Free parking. Great view. Appartment and rooms clean and spacious

The bath was deep and could do with a grab rail on wall when getting out of shower to avoid slipping.

2nd time staying here, excellent apartment everything you need

nothing

Location is incredible, secure parking below the property, wonderful views, including the river directly below, steam trains passing opposite.
Great facilities in the apartment, wonderfully comfortable bed. Care/welcome package was extravagant and very welcome.

It's only minor, no really a gripe, but some apartments we've stayed in provided milk for a welcome cuppa on arrival.
Other than that, hard to suggest anything to improve on!

stylish and well maintained apartment in great central location with handy parking. Had everything we needed.

initially difficult to find as numbers had faded on keypad but sorted with a quick phone call.

The place we stayed was perfect secure & Close to whitby centre, the view from the window was beautiful with the river & boats & could see all the town , the staff kept in touch leaving their number if any problems but all was great, would recommend to anybody else, we would go with them again. 5 star & thankyou.

Free parking. Easy access to town centre. Quiet location. Spacious apartment. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate. Dog friendly. Host and Stay offered to come and look at TV problems . Good position by the river to watch the world go by. Well lit riverside walkway so felt safe for late night dog walk.

Lipstick on cutlery. Heater not working in lounge. TV kept pixelating and was unwatchable at times. Write up didn't say it was a third floor apartment. Windows didn't open. Bathroom a little grubby, bits of mould and rust and shower head kept slipping down. Too many emails in run up to stay. Host and Stay actually took/debited damage deposit of £250 (rather than holding as a pending payment) and charged £10 admin fee

Not being able to get in until 4 pm.

We holidayed before the school holidays. Everyone was helpful and very pleasant. We live in London and did not expect other visitors and locals to be as welcoming

No televisions working radiator in lounge not working making the lounge difficult in the evenings. Also had difficulty getting into the key safe as person who answered the first calls was un knowledgeable lucky a gent was more professional - we are new to self catering but know a great deal more.

The location was excellent. We were left chocolate, biscuits, coffee, tea and crisps which was a nice touch.j

We have stayed at other flats in Whitehall landing where we could arrive at 3pm and check out at 11 am. In this flat we missed almost a full day if accommodation by not being able to check in until 4pm and having to leave at 10am. Had this been a large property cleaned to a high standard, I would have understood. HOWEVER, the apartment had not been cleaned properly. The shower and bath tiles were dirty. There was dust everywhere. The oven contained spills from the previous occupants curry and under the beds was simply dirty. In addition we were asked to strip our own beds and do the cleaners job for them. If the cleaners are not going to clean I am perplexed at having to give them 6 hours to do so.

Fab location and view

clean, well decorated and furnished, great views, well equipped and warm.

the location is brilliant and secure underground parking was a massive bonus. just a short pleasant walk from the apartment right into the heart of Whitby

Facilities were clean. Attention to detail.

Some blood on one of the single sheets, daughter slept in one of the throws. Only 1x toilet rolls, felt that should have been better stocked.
TV lost reception and some of the channels. Double mattress was far too soft but that's personal preference. Did not like the amount of emails from after booking, 12 X emails is a bit excessive for a two night stay.

Location, parking, apartment

No central heating so apartment was cold, took a long time for electric heaters to warm up the room. Most windows didn't open, no dressing table in either bedroom. A TV in both bedrooms would have been better.
Bombarded with e-mails from Host & Stay.
Issued with numerous rules and regulations from Host & Stay. Had to pay an Admin fee to Host and Stay. Will be unlikely to book anything involving Host & Stay again.

Fantastic location, great views, very peaceful and only 3 mins walk from centre. Apartment itself is very clean, well equipped and has plenty of storage. Highly recommend-we will be booking this again on our next visit.

Stunning view , short walk into town and really great to have a parking space.
Flat was really clean and had everything we needed, communication was excellent from booking all through the trip

Very nice apartment looking out over the water, very spacious and has everything you would need, you are only a short walk away from the town which is great because once you park in the very safe and secure car park you have no need to use the car until you leave.

Lovely apartment, really convenient for walking into Whitby, with lovely views across the harbour.
Clean, modern and well equipped with everything we needed, even a little basket of goodies to enjoy during our stay which was a nice touch.
Easy to access and find and the secure parking is a bonus.

Great place to stay, central location, clean, had everything we needed :)

Apartment was extremely clean well equipped, fantastic position near everywhere

No long enough stay, could easily stayed another week at least one

Nice and clean, comfortable beds, good location

Shower could be improved as not much more than a hand held hose. Also it would be useful to know which keysafe on arrival, I had to try a couple before finding appropriate one.

Excellent location with just a short stroll passed the harbour into Whitby Town Centre. There was secure underground parking at the apartment so we didn't have the stress of trying to find a parking space or change to pay for parking. The apartment was on the top floor accessible by using the lift or the staircase, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay, it was in a quiet location away from the main road and overlooked the river. There were also some treats left for us which was a really nice touch. We would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we didn't like about the apartment or its location.

Large clean apartment, free parking WiFi in a great location with lovely views. Would definitely stay here again when we next visit whitby

Nothing

Whitby.

Stain outside front door of apartment.
Sticking windows.
No toiletries or spare toilet paper.
Clothes left by previous occupant.
Poor quality shower and leaking shower screen.
Far too many emails before and during stay.
Inappropriate use of my surname, as in "Hello Everett"
Bent keys, locks need oiling.

Convenient for town and parking' comfy beds and sofa and tv options.

Water was boiling hot. Shower one of the worst. Water seeps through onto floor. Air outlet in bathroom clogged up, needs to be cleaned. Host & Stay bug you by email , no need for so many emails.

Pretty view from the master bedroom and lounge. Kitchen was relatively well equipped but the kitchenware wasn’t as clean as we would have liked it and neither were the beds. We got a message saying the hosts wish to establish themselves as a brand for luxury holiday rentals - on that note we found it a bit strange to be asked to strip the beds ourselves at a rate of over £250 per night. That did not feel very luxurious plus it is sad to see that previous reviews seem to have gone unheard.

On a positive note: Staff was really nice, the location is an easy walk from town, great views, welcome snacks provided (would have preferred enough toilet roll though), safe complex and great secure parking!

As mentioned by other it was strange that we had to strip the beds, towels etc ourselves. Plus only one toilet roll supplied. Could have been cleaner as well. Also no dishwasher.

good location, clean and easy parking.

the shower could do with some attention, doesn’t stay up and floods the floor.

the location was great. parking ideal too. Clean and homely with all facilities.

Few repairs that could be addressed. Tap in bathroom was loose, shower screen leaked, window in lounge difficult to close. Not deal breakers but could be so easily fixed.

Very large apartment
Complimentary welcome pack but could have done with cuppa but no milk.

Shower leaked on to the bathroom floor. Only 1 fan for the hottest days ever recorded in the UK ?
Constant seagulls noise, hard to sleep but that's the price you pay to be at the waterside.

fabulous views of the river, nice and quiet.
parking absolute bonus. Everything you need. check in really easy and communication with host outstanding

nothing to dislike, maybe a king size bed but that is a personal preference.

Good location, quiet, peaceful, good access to Whitby

The lock box wasn’t numbered and it was fiddly to operate. The hot water had a strange smell.

Great stay- really clean and well equipped accommodation. Would stay again.

We're it was

No shower cubicle

Absolutely wonderful

Had difficulty getting into

Quiet good location

Dirty windows! Some basic information about appliances was hard to find. It would haven useful to know we were looking for Scott House rather than Seal Watch Apartment.

lovely decor, everything you need, beautiful view.

difficult to identify which key lock to use as non had names on.

The view from the apartment and the size of the apartment and having parking.

It was in need of an update as the the window would not close and the twin bedroom window the latch loose. The bathroom flooded when you had a shower and the beds not very comfortable. No dishwasher.

Sel-catering so no breakfast provided. Location ideal. Quiet (no noise from other apartment occupants), easy to drive to with all local amenities within pleasant walking distance. Lovely view from living room.

Nothing comes to mind.

Location and secure parking

Bathroom tiles dirty

The property was beautiful
With fantastic views

Nothin

Have stayed in 2 or 3 different apartments over the last few years in Whitehall Landing and Seal Watch is by far the nicest !
Lovely and clean apartment with comfortable beds and nice touch of a little welcome pack on arrival which was very welcome and unexpected. Will definitely stay here again

Notice in the apartment to strip the beds and place in a laundry basket at the end of your stay.
Highly unusual and not the sort of thing you expect to have to do when going on holiday.

Very cosy indeed lovely views loved the lifts haha

The distance to town

Lovely apartment, great and quiet location in easy walking distance of town. Great to have own dedicated parking space in the garage.
Views of the harbour were lovely the double bedroom and living Room.
There is a lift, which was a bonus for our elderly mum was with us.
Away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to walk in. Our mum is 82 and has arthritis in her hip, but loved the walk into town and back each day, as in on the flat.
Overall, a lovely place to stay

the property was clean and spacious and in a good location

nothing

Will recommend to others

it was clean bright and lovely

nothing not to like

The View Secured Parking Building security no fault with the apartment.

One little problem was the television in the bedroom didn’t work. Same problem as our December stay. We could find no other fault with this apartment.

location, view from the apartment

bed too soft, not comfortable, two electric heaters not working, no toilet roll in the apartment on arrival.
no dish clothes or sponge for washing up.

On arrival dead flies in the window bottom of bedroom, twin room freezing we let the hosts know and we’re told to turn the switch on at the wall, obviously we had done this and it still didn’t work the temperature was dreadful. Sweet papers under settee freezer needed defrosting.

Location was excellent 10 min walk to shops and restaurants

Mattress on bed needs to be replaced as not very supportive

Great appartment, brilliant location

Tv in double bedroom was broken. Heater in twin room was broken, making it very cold.

Nicely decorated, the single beds were comfy, large rooms, lift access and private carpark, kitchen was well stocked, pet friendly. Was the only place in Whitby that was fairly priced and had disabled access. Great apartment, thank you for having us!

TV in the bedroom didnt have any channels or any apps. Main bed mattress was a bit springy and felt cheap (was also a double not a king size). A dishwasher would have been great. Low pressure in the shower. Outdoor bins couldn't be found.

Great place

Everything else.

Only complaint is the radiators in the twin room and in the hall were to complicated for me or my missus to get working.

A well appointed flat with lovely views n a 10 min flat walk into Whitby central.
We didn’t cook but the kitchen seemed well equipped.
Having free parking a definite bonus in such a popular town.
It was warm n comfortable n a pleasure to return to after exploring all day.
We would gladly return

A lovely apartment which had everything you could need - a very good sized apartment, spotlessly clean and very much home from home- the beds were super comfortable.
Lovely and quiet the whole time we were there and in a great quiet area overlooking the river - just a short walk (10-15mins) away from the centre of Whitby.
Added bonus was secure car parking in the car park beneath the apartments.

Nothing - very happy with the apartment and the service we received from first booking.

Booked this on behalf of my sister and brother in law. They found it clean and comfortable. They thought it was a nice touch leaving a complimentary welcome pack -thank you. Parking for the car was great. Quick response and fix to a problem they had with the toilet.

They found the mattress was very uncomfortable- a bit saggy-maybe time for a new one.

Good location. Apartment very clean and comfortable. Good to have secure parking. Plenty areas to walk the dog.

With the bath being deep maybe a rubber mat in the bath for shower use as very slippy especially with being used by multiple guests or even a grab rail added. I am a short person and slipped getting in with manoeuvring the screen and the bath height

Location was great with lovely views of the estuary from living room and bedroom windows and only a 10 minute flat walk into Whitby.

The double bed in the main bedroom was too soft for us!

Clean, welcoming, location

Could not open windows

Great location and lovely little welcome pack

Could be cleaner - areas of the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was mould on the grouting snd a damp, mouldy smell

All very good and a great location, easy walk into the centre and secure underground car parking included. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of a few niggly things. The bed in the master bedroom was quite small for two people (probably only a standard double). The mattress was terrible and practically bent in half when you lay on it. The sheets kept coming off the bed, there was no toilet roll, no sponge to wash up with and no cooking oil. Also, I tried to take the bins out to the main bins outside but they were located behind a locked door with a code on it. The code was not provided and when I called up to ask for it, nobody knew it. So couldn’t take the bins out. These are small things really and overall a good stay, would book again.

Everything was absolutely perfect!spotlessly clean and every little thing catered for, nice little touches like the complimentary snacks and tablet to use while staying, the underground private parking is fantastic as parking in whitby is near impossible at the moment, would definitely rebook and recommend to friends and family

The only thing letting this beautiful place down was the mattress in the double bedroom,it seems to dip so much in the middle and is quite uncomfortable

Lovely place and perfect location for exploring Whitby! Everything is energy and in walking distance.

The property was spacious, good location and the view out the living room and bedroom window was great.

Location was great, not far to walk to ammenties but far enough for it not to be noisy

Nothing, except extra toilet rolls were needed

The apartment is roomy and clean with good facilities

I'm not sure why, as paying guests, you are asked to strip the beds and put the sheets etc; in a laundry bag and put new liners in the bins. Surely cleaners get paid to do this? I'm fine with taking the rubbish out, as that is normal for an apartment.

The apartment was a nice size and the lounge furniture was comfortable to relax on at the end of the day. The use of Sky satellite was a nice touch. The little welcome gift of Chocolates, Crisps and Chocolate biscuits etc; was also a nice touch, especially for those with children.

The cooking facilties were not all that good. The oven was difficult to turn on and the hobs not all that quickly controllable. The single beds were not comfortable and too low to the ground. (The elderly gentleman was using one of these beds). Probably okay for children, but as for adults, not really suitable. The main double bed had stains on the mattress.
The bathroom shower was within a bath and the elderly gentleman with disabilities, of our party had extreme difficulties getting in and out. So not really suitable for people with disabilities. We were charged £25 for amenities and only had one toilet roll for the three of us and it didn't survive the duration. Although we had washing up liquid and a cleaning spray, there wasn't any toilet cleaner supplied.
The dining table was way too small and four people would never fit around it, especially if they were of large body mass. One of us, had to eat at the lounge coffee table each morning.

Location fine we are 79 and we walked into town easily nice little pub halfway if we needed it ! And lovely views of the river .

Nothing

Had a lovely few days in a lovely apartment

Everything you need fir a lively stay is here, bonus a car space

Communication with the host and check in was easy, and the location of the flat is pretty good as well. It is in a quiet area and we were able to walk everywhere in Whitby that we wanted to go. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended. The cleanliness of the flat, especially for COVID times, was pretty poor. The floor wasn’t properly cleaned, there was hair left in the bathroom, and the bedsheets were dusty and hairy as well (not to mention of very cheap quality). The pots and utensils supplied were also of cheap quality and were dirty, so we had to wash everything up before using it. No store cupboard essentials were provided for cooking, and only one roll of loo paper and the end of a roll of paper towel were left, meaning we had to go out and buy our own as soon as we arrived. The TV was unwatchable on some channels due to a scrambled signal and some catch up TV requires a PIN code, meaning it can’t be watched - the host’s solution was just to watch it on your own device. The mattress in the master bedroom was completely broken and had no support, resulting in uncomfortable sleep. The doors in the flat are extremely loud and creaky, meaning that it was impossible to open the bedroom door without waking the other person. At the end of the stay, you are also expected to strip the beds, clean the counters and take out the bins (though no code was provided to actually do so). Surely a professional cleaning service should be responsible, rather than the guests - especially at the nightly rate being charged? Overall, disappointing and not worth staying at.

Beautiful space in a superb location.

A good place to base a stay in Whitby. About 5-10 minutes' walk from the Old Town along a fairly flat road, though the slope up to Spital Bridge can be treacherous. The views over the private marina are lovely, but light sleepers may beware of the noisy gulls. The flat itself is comfortable, the beds are very soft and warm.

A lovely stay. Very clean and tidy. A great location, only a very short walk into the main town of Whitby. Has a free parking space which was very useful. Great views from the living room and main bedroom. Our little boy loved watching the trains from a distance and being able to see the boats!

Seal View is in an ideal location. Close to Whitby centre but in lovely quiet spot with the added bonus of private parking. We would recommend this property to other guests.

Accommodation was clean and modern with a lovely view. It also has its own car parking space. About a 15 minute walk to centre of Whitby.

scrub, shower screen leaked, light over mirror didn’t work. Kettle wouldn’t turn off. When we opened windows loads of flies came in! Overall property tired feel rather than luxury.

This is a lovely apartment within walking distance from Whitby centre. It is very clean and tidy with good facilities and, has a locked garage with allocated slot. There are two very comfortable, spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom. The apartment also had Sky television and internet access.

A very comfortable apartment in an Ideal location in Whitby. We did have a problem getting the cooker to work and due to Covit restrictions we wanted to use the cooker more than we had planned. We could also have used a spare toilet roll, additional hand towels and cleaning cloth ..also there were only 3 dinner plates...these are I rented as constructive critisms rather than complaints as we did enjoy our stay

Nice and clean, well appointed apartment. Good location within easy walking distance of Whitby harbour. Check in and out procedure was straightforward. We had a nice break and would stay here again.

Excellent location really well within walking distance to everything.
Views from windows lovely !
Really handy and quick responses from host if contacted!

We had a great stay here. The apartment was super clean. Check in and communication was very quick and easy, with quick replies to any questions. The apartment was very nice and comfortable, with everything we needed. The location is great. A reserved underground parking space and a short walk into town. The area around the apartment is really nice too for a walk. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice stay in a good location. Clean flat and excellent correspondence prior to arriving. Biscuits on the side where a nice touch too

Absolutely perfect location, close to the local town but far enough to enjoy the benefits of free parking!
Waking up to a harbour view was great, and suitable for all ages as 3rd floor apartment with a lift (we had our 9 month old with us)
Would definitely stay again!
