All excellent

Best nights sleep I have had in a while so comfortable, super clean, and very close to the center would 100% stay again

It’s quite difficult for me to get the keys. Without the neighbor’s help I can’t find the keys at all. Because it should be parking plot 3, which is after the flat’s number, but the number actually written on the ground is 8

Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay here - the location was ideal for exploring Whitby (5 minute walk to the harbour, great food options and Co-op supermarket) and the surrounding area. <br/>The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped with everything you’d need for a few days stay - the bed was also one of the comfiest I’ve slept in! I loved the little terrace and the view over Whitby to the abbey, it was a lovely place to sit (weather permitting!) with my morning coffee. There were also some lovely little touches, such as coffee pods and milk sachets in the fridge to get me started.<br/>The communication before, during and after my trip was great, the directions and arrival info were clear and I found the digital guidebook, sent before my trip, really handy. <br/>Thank you for a very relaxing and hassle free stay in your apartment, I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Whitby!

Great location very central to everything only a very short walk from the centre which was really handy, the property was immaculately clean and very spacious had everything we needed during our stay. coffee machine is a lovey touch, very well equipped kitchen. the balcony was lovely for enjoying the views of Whitby. The bed was so comfortable and the bath is nice to use after a long day of walking, with plenty of fluffy towels provided also. The guidebook provided through email was very informative during the stay ensured that everything was easy to find and the food recommendations were great. <br/>excellent overall would definitely stay here again!<br/><br/>The parking is great asset of the property, however it was very tight to try and fit the car in may be difficult for people with a larger car.

Clean and great location<br/><br/>wasn’t the easiest to access with information given bit more detail needed ie car parking space what number better description on were the key was located there’s a few key boxes around and car parking spaces

We had everything we needed, the place was warm and had all the facilities we needed<br/><br/>The parking space and key safe was hard to find.

The property was great, well equipped, neatly presented. It’s in a great location with a great view from the front room & balcony.<br/>The parking spot allocated is a bit tight for larger vehicles.<br/><br/>Host & Stay issued conflicting advice regarding the check out time 10am & 12am. <br/>To confirm it is 10am prompt.<br/>Also the return of the £250 damages deposit was quoted as 7-10 and also 7-14 days. <br/>My deposit was returned after 10 days, despite having to pay an additional admin fee. Personally I feel this is unfair, other deposits with other companies have been returned within 5 working days.

Just returned from a few great days in Whitby staying at the Skyline Appartment, although there are some negatives I dont want to take away from the postivies and that it is a lovely little modern apprtment with the added bonus of having a large balcony with a great view of the Abbey, the kitchen is well stocked with glassed plates utensils along with a fridge freezer, dish washer and washing machine, if you need to use them, they also provided a few extra bin bags, cloths, washing up liquid and a few dish washer tablets, Being March it was still a little chilly outside but the apparment was well heated and controlled from the thermostat in the living area and also has free wifi and a large TV, The beds were comfortable with a good selection of pillows. The appartment is idealy situated for short walk into town or walking distance to the Train Station, however I would point out that the last 20-30 metres of the walk up to the appartment get quite steep and with 4 short flights of stairs if you have a mobility issue you may stuggle, the parking bay is tight, if you have a small car you may be able to drive in but in most cases you will need to reverse park (as google maps has yet to be updated search for images for Spa Well Court Whitby for some images) however if this is too much they provide a few W Zone parking permits that can be used for the duration of your stay. I wlil say that the apprtment is cosy and for 4 people sharing the same space for any more than a few days may be testing. I personally enjoyed my time in the Skyline Appartment and look forward to staying there again sometime in the future however remember the seaside is full of seagulls and they have a habbit of sh###ing everywhere

Location, nice and quiet , warm and comfortable , balcony a bonus , short walk to harbour front ,and a parking space ,<br/><br/>Bin full on arrival

we liked the position of the property easy access to the town. Nice and modern property.<br/><br/>Getting the keys was a nightmare as given the wrong code. Took age for someone to answer the phone for us to get the correct code. <br/>There was a smell of cooking oil as soon as we entered the apartment, on closer inspection realised the extractor fan needed a clean. Had a problem with the hot water, once the heating went off in the evening.

The apartment is lovely and the location is great. The view of the abbey is a bonus.<br/><br/>Our stay was 2 nights which totalled to 42 hours, due to check in being 4pm and check out being 10am. The guide book on the QR code in the apartment says checkout is 12pm. In this period of time we received 7 messages in total from and Host and Stay, 6 of which were reminders that we had to check out at 10am. We are 2 adults that can read and understand from just 1 message. By the time we left we felt very unwelcome.

Great apartment in a great location

The view.<br/><br/>Beds were small and pillows hard. <br/>Settee in lounge area very Argos!! uncomfortable.

It was a beautiful apartments<br/>Very central<br/>Had everything you needed<br/><br/>Could fault it

This is the second time we have stayed in a host & stay holiday let and I can’t fault them, this was a great location literally 2 minutes walk into town the property was very nicely laid out and the beds where super comfy we had everything we needed for a great weekend. We will certainly return here as love the balcony area but a little too cold to sit out this weekend. All in all I can’t fault host & stay no fuss check in and always contactable if any problems need sorting. A+++++

Very clean and had everything needed and close to the centre<br/><br/>Finding the lockbox for the key wasn't straight forward

the view from the apartment ,the location is spot on<br/><br/>better directions where to park the car ,it was a bit of confusion as the bay was not well sign posted

An amazing find . Local to Whitby . Clean and modern lovely apartment and a terrace that faces the Abby . Will definitely return .

Lovely clean modern flat in great location, 5 mins walk to centre of west side. There were a couple of broken items that need mending like towel rail and a stain on the carpet and bathroom bin required but other than that it was great.

The location was good. It was good to have a car space. It was fairly clean though there were cobwebs in some of the windows and dust that clearly had not been removed for some time.<br/><br/>The car space is tiny but fortunately we had a small car; anyone with a big car would really struggle to get into it. The lock box was fiddly. The place was a bit shabby in places ~ for example, the side of the bathtub is loose. There were no bins in any of the rooms except the main room. There is no extractor fan in the bathroom, which we think needs to be rectified. "In short the regulations require: UK bathrooms must be ventilated with either a window or an extractor fan. If there is only a toilet, a window alone is sufficient but in new-build bathrooms with a bath and shower, mechanical ventilation in the form of an extractor fan is required." Being asked to clean and tidy the apartment and remove the rubbish seemed a bit over the top, considering we pay a cleaning fee as part of the overall costs. The way the breakage fee was added after booking and paying was just another way to increase the income in a sneaky way. There were no instructions for using the oven.

Clean & modern. View of Whitby Abbey from the balcony. Location close to town centre<br/><br/>Sofa not the most comfortable & the carpets could do with a clean

Excellent flat, fabulous view and easy walk into town

The view. The security. The comfort and the shower<br/><br/>Walking up three flights of stairs. Having to locate a mysterious key box in a mystery car park (we don’t drive and the place wasn’t obvious). Lack of someone to come and help us enter. Neighbours did the job instead. The door handles. They are a safety issue and both of us knocked our elbows. My injury is ongoing. Swollen painful. It finished me off for enjoying Whitby.

The location was brilliant<br/><br/>I had to clean the apartment, there was dust on all the bedside tables, the bathroom shelf and the widow sills. there was decorative vases which were covered in dust and there was toe nail clippings under the sofa which you could see from siting on the chair opposite. Dust on the tops of the bed headboards. There was paint scuffs and scrapes on the walls and the bath panel was loose and looked like it was going to fall off until I pushed it Bach on, i did report this immediately but had nothing in return.

Location and modern<br/><br/>Hairs in bath, dusty, few cobwebs, cleaning product marks left on toilet and basin, cloth marks and streak on glass surfaces

Great property to stay in to explore Whitby. Easy to find and easy to access, parking slightly tight if you have a big car but great to have access to parking. Very close to main town. Property and balcony very quiet. <br/>Property tidy and generally clean, could have done with some touch ups on paint and cobwebs removing, windows cleaning etc - but nothing major. <br/>High end materials used in property and everything to a good standard. <br/>Great to have a handbook of recommendations - we went to many places on the list and loved them.<br/>Very comfy beds and amazing shower! <br/>We loved our stay here to explore Whitby and surrounding areas. We would absolutely stay here again!

This apartment was perfect for our short break with two grandchildren. Everything was very clean, beds so comfortable and the centre of town was only a ten minute walk.<br/><br/>Parking space a little difficult to get in and out of and check out time is very early 10am. Wouldn’t stop be booking again but I do feel that check in at 4 and checkout at 10 is not ideal especially at this price point .

lovely apartment. v clean & comfortable. super view from living room. parking space was difficult to locate & hard to manoeuvre into.

Beautiful apartment, fantastic view, great location. Was great to have somewhere to park and the host also provided a parking pass we could use in Whitby. Would definitely stay again!

I would avoid staying here again because Host & Stay take a £250 deposit off you for 10 days (we were only there one night) and then charge £10 for doing it! The balcony was filthy when we arrived and as we wanted to use it we had to spend 30 minutes cleaning it.

Great location and beautiful view from balcony

In a very close location to the centre of the hustle and bustle of Whitby. Easy free parking which was a bonus and the apartment is beautiful with a lovely view of the abbey.<br/><br/>Nothing

A beautiful apartment with all you need for a stay in Whitby . <br/>Only downside is the seagulls that are very noisy all night long .

andrea v

Apartment nice, parking very very small with wheelie bins in the way, cleaner was in our space when arrived. THE BALCONY WAS DISGUSTING covered in bird poo, contacted Host and stay as soon as arrived, they tried to say it happened between the cleaner leaving and us arriving ? her car was still there ! VERY unhelpful saying had to report in 5 days ! Reported arrival day but said beyond their control! What to clean it ? Also the table covered in poo but I cleaned that!

Gorgeous apartment and well kitted out. Beautiful view and loved the balcony. Would return.<br/><br/>Size/awkwardness of parking space - horrendous. Should be a warning about it as a lot of people now have larger cars. A welcome ‘bag’ woukd have been appropriate for the price - proper milk, biscuits, tea bags etc.

The location was ideal for what we wanted.<br/><br/>The beds were a little uncomfortable and the bedrooms a little small

Location location location, private parking space, comfortable beds, great shower, well equipped kitchen, lovely balcony with agreat view..<br/><br/>Cleaning had been rushed and bits missed.

Location to centre, facilities<br/><br/>Car parking a little tight

Lovely apartment in a great location, just a few minutes walk into Whitby centre. <br/>The apartment was clean and the decor was lovely. The beds were comfortable. <br/>The view from the balcony was lovely, however the decking was quite slippery.

The view and location<br/><br/>the parking space was terrible and could t use it

location, view<br/><br/>parking is tight. bed uncomfortable. balcony was not clean.

Central location with good view of the abbey. Clean with all the facilities of home.<br/><br/>Parking space is limited, I was glad to be in a small car as manoevring space was limited.

Location<br/><br/>The balcony is filthy and very slippy and dangerous. We moved the table to try to cover the worst of it but the whole area was slippy and dangerous.

Very close to town centre and parking<br/><br/>Apartment needs a little Tlc

location and private parking space<br/><br/>no handrails in bath/shower makes it dangerous for older people like me not to slip getting into and out of the bath/shower. I did mention this last year and did expect something this easy and cheap to sort, would have been done

Lovely place<br/><br/>Could not sort hot water for bath

Good location. Very clean. Nice design of apartment. Stunning view of Abbey. Clear in property guide not overloaded with info.

Great place, perfect location for the centre of Whitby! We did have issues with parking at the place as we were in a transporter van and the parking space has a height restriction but this wasn’t mentioned until we arrived and saw! We were able to park on the street a short walk away with a free parking pass so not the end of the world but we would have gone in another car if we had known!

The flat was in a great location, with amazing view of the skyline with the Abbey on the hill in the distance, you had your own private parking and the facilities and comfort were great. Would highly recommend this flat.<br/><br/>Nil.

The was lovely and clean and fully equipped with everything along with beautiful views.<br/><br/>n/a

-5 mins to town centre<br/>-parking place<br/>-balcony with view<br/>-comfortable beds<br/>-good kitchen/diner<br/><br/>-both sofa & chair in sitting area very uncomfortable. Sitting on chair could feel wood base underneath<br/>- sofa had bad stains on<br/>-bath side panel was detached and had already been stuck with mastic once but had come unstuck again<br/>-bedroom carpets were dirty and needed cleaning<br/>-fridge still smelt a bit of sour milk which noted been cleaned on a previous review

Lovely apartment in a great location with parking which is a a real positive. It was very clean apartment in general<br/><br/>We unfortunately couldn't use the kitchen facilities and were unable to cook. On arrival the cleaners had to return to remove spilt sour milk from the fridge and clean the freezer. The leftover smell was too bad to store food so we therefore didn't use the kitchen.

Quick and easy to use.<br/><br/>We had an allocated parking space under the building we stayed in. However, the space wasn't big enough for our car and because we have a 4x4 our car wouldn't fit under the RSJ which ran across the top of the parking space. We contacted the hosts, and their reply was to park in a public car park. This we didn't want to do, as accommodation with parking on site was important to us, hence why we booked the accommodation with an allocated parking space. Unfortunately, they were unable to help us and asked if we had read the guidelines, which we had and there was no mention of height restrictions or that the spaces were tight/small. They told us that if we parked in another space on site that they would not be responsible if we received a parking ticket! So not helpful in that respect. The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. Very well equipped and nice and warm. The only let down was the parking!

good size & close to town centre<br/><br/>the apartment door didn’t lock from the inside at night

the property was clean, modern and in a good location for exploring Whitby.<br/><br/>the parking was too small for our car, and had to park elsewhere.

The whole apartment was very modern and lots of equipment in the kitchen and a very nice balcony.<br/><br/>We couldn't fault it at all

Good location

Lovely apartment, very modern and clean, beds were comfortable and the rooms were a good size, lovely view from the balcony, very good internet connection, parking was very good and under cover as we had motorcycles, we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again

Great stay in superb location. Very easy to interact with professional host who provided lots of support to make the stay as good as possible.

Gorgeous apartment, perfect position, lovely & modern will definitely stay again!

I like how close it was to the centre of Whitby. <br/>The process of checking in and out was all straightforward <br/>I love the interior of the whole property and it had everything we needed. <br/>The property itself was maintained immaculately.<br/><br/>Nothing

Really nicely situated <br/>Beds really comfortable <br/>Nice balcony and views were amazing<br/><br/>Steps too many

Lovely apartment perfectly kitted out, plenty of kitchen utensils lovely touch with milk and coffee. Beds were very complimentary i sleeped like a log, very comfy, location was great nearthe coop for essentials, 10 minutes walk to the harbour, gorgeous view of the Abbey from the balcony, great parking spot would definitely rebook.

Keys were mistakenly taken by cleaner and not available. How this was ultimately resolved deserves 10/10 however it should not of happened in the first place.<br/><br/>Parking was unsuitable for my vehicle (Mercedes-Benz Vito People Carrier)

View and standard of fittings<br/><br/>The terrace needed cleaned but they got it sorted for us straight away.

Perfect location minutes from harbour, very well appointed apartment excellently equipped and comfy beds. Balcony looking towards the Abbey<br/><br/>Nothing

The location was very good for walking to the seafront (5 minutes) and the rooftop terrace was great to view the city. The kitchen was very well equipped with supplies of coffee, tea, cooking oils, salt, pepper etc.<br/><br/>As others have said you can't rely on getting a car into the allocated parking space unless it is very small. They did provide a parking permit for the duration of our stay but that meant we had to drop off our luggage at the property and then drive to a location 10 minutes walk away to park the car. As we didn't use the car during our stay this wasn't a big problem.

n/a<br/><br/>better direction was quite difficult to find and parking space was very tight only room for a small car

Good view of Abbey.<br/><br/>A description of how to find the apartment would have made it easier to get there. Also, a warning about how tight the car parking is. Previous reviews mentioned it but it really is not easy to park in the space allocated under the building.

Great location close to harbour and centre . Lovely view of Whitby Abbey.<br/>Short drive to beautiful locations between the moors and the sea.<br/><br/>Not much you can do but parking extremely tight.<br/>Good there is parking.

Great location and great view.<br/><br/>The parking is small, would struggle to fit a big car in.

The apartment was extremely clean, very well equipped, excellent heating and a good location for access to the town centre, train station and amenities. In addition, both bedrooms were of an equal size and standard. It was great to have the terrace with a view of Whitby Abbey, even if it was rainng!

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, great location.

Everything<br/><br/>The parking is only appropriate for small vehicles.

Location was good<br/><br/>N/a

location fine, self catered so no breakfast provided<br/><br/>the shower in the bath worked fine but there were no handrails to assist an older person (i am 70) climb in and out of the bath. Also the showerscreen was not fixed and it is possible to fall sideways through it. A manual for the microwave and oven would have been useful.

Fabulous views in a prime location.<br/><br/>It was difficult to find the car park. We drove past it many times. It could do with a bigger plaque on the wall. You could include the parking space number to which would help.

Easy to communicate with, and great place

The parking space was too tight

We had a great few days in Whitby enjoying walking in the town and surrounding area. The museum just across from the flat is well worth a visit, as is its tea room.

Excellent ;)

everything , first class<br/><br/>had a bit of trouble locating it as postcode on site does not reg on sat nav ha to ring to get correct one . but staff on the phone were great

Lovely place with gorgeous view.

Perfect location, 5 min walk to bars/shops and harbour.<br/>Exceptionally clean throughout<br/><br/>Nothing we didn't like

Great location and fantastic view of the abbey. Well equipped and very generous supply of tea and coffee.<br/><br/>For 2 people it was ideal but we think it would be a little cramped for 4 people for sitting and eating. Parking space a little tight but not a problem for a smallish car.

Property had everything required, very nice comfortable beds was all a good experience, definitely recommend<br/><br/>Some people may find the allocated parking difficult, I managed but it is thought

Well equipped and in a great position for getting out and about.<br/><br/>Nothing

Wonderful location with a great view. Clean and airy.<br/><br/>The parking bay was tiny with restricted height (too low for our vehicle). <br/>Beds were rather small for two people.

Secure and quiet<br/><br/>Cleaning was very poor

Close proximity to all locations, superb breakfast view, brilliantly comfy beds, plush/modern feel, just perfect ?<br/><br/>Nothing we didn’t like!

We stayed at the skyline apartment in Whitby (2 adults and our 9 year old). Apartment was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The location is great and we were able to walk everywhere, we did not use our car all week. Whitby was super busy and we found finding places to eat a bit of a challenge so I would recommend booking if you like the look of somewhere. We had a takeaway from Passage to India near the train station which we were able to walk back to the apartment before it went cold, and that was lovely.

Lovely central location and well-stocked apartment. Slight snag with one towel having what looked like a foundation stain and a hair found in one of the beds on arrival. Otherwise great stay and easy and clear communication.

The balcony had such a lovely view of the abbey in the distance. The location was super close to restaurants and pubs in Whitby. The beds were really comfy and the house was lovely and clean.

Beautiful, clean and spacious. Very modern and well kept.<br/><br/>Nothing, enjoyed it all

Beautiful apartment, well stocked and with a great view.

Reasonable location, nice balcony, tasteful decor.<br/><br/>Bad smell being the first thing that greeted us on entry. Seems to come from the boiler cupboard. We had to keep the bathroom door closed all week. Can also smell it in the bedroom adjacent. <br/>Could be the boiler/ flu? Suggest a service and clean. <br/>The property is small, which for the money paid doesn’t really equate. We had three properties booked in Whitby for family, and skyline was the smallest and most expensive. <br/>This doesn’t relate to the property, but the constant e mails and texts from super hog were very annoying. I am concerned that a third party app now have my passport photo and all my details despite having paid and confirmed my booking. If you use isn’t that enough. I don’t trust super hog or see the need for them at all. Correspondence from the host and confirmation of payment is surely all that’s required. Who are super hog and what service do they provide for me?

Had an excellent stay, beautifully kitted out and perfect for a weekend away

Great location and stunning views. This is a really comfortable spacious apartment in which to explore Whitby, the view of the Abbey from the settee is spectacular and the host is very helpful

Lovely clean and tidy apartment with a great view and the perfect walking distance from Whitby harbour.

Everything bar the car park space<br/><br/>Parking area

This apartment is lovely and in a great location with around a 10 min walk to the harbour. The styling of the apartment was gorgeous and has made me want to redecorate my whole house! The view from the balcony was amazing and such a nice added bonus. The only thing for us was that the check in wasn’t until 3pm and check out was at 10am.. it did feel like either check in could have been a little bit earlier or alternatively check out could be at 11 or 11:30. I appreciate that the apartment has to be cleaned between stays but I can’t imagine it takes 5 hours (between 10am and 3pm) to clean. Possibly to do with COVID but that was the only thing that I could provide feed back on as otherwise a really great apartment and a lovely stay!

Overall very clean and tidy apartment and great scenery.<br/><br/>When sent email about pass code for apartment key and its where a bouts... This should have been sent with bold print instead and not concealed through several emails and written in small print, so it was difficult to find and to read... Causing confusion on arrival.

Great apartment would definitely stay here again

Excellent flat with amazing view !!

Immaculate apartment, excellent location and easy to find

We absolutely loved our stay in Whitby, beautiful apartment, well equipped, close to amenities, the highlight was definately the balcony looking out over Whitby!

Beautiful apartment - a great location.
