You’ll be able to enjoy stunning sea views and explore the town’s beautiful beach with ease, whilst there are also plenty of restaurants nearby so there is plenty of fun to be had. What’s more, private parking and a hot tub are also available!

Property Details

The Space
Spindrift has a bright and spacious kitchen diner on the ground floor. Ultra stylish, this space includes a white high-shine kitchen and a large dining area with sea views. Ideal for preparing meals, the kitchen features modern appliances and cookware to ensure you can really make the most of your self-catering break. Gather your loved ones together and enjoy your home cooked meals at the dining area.

The living area, located on the first floor, has a light and airy atmosphere, two comfy sofas, and an armchair making it perfect for relaxing and unwinding. In the living room, you can kick back in front of the flat-screen Smart TV or simply admire the breathtaking sea views.

Stay on the same floor and you’ll find the first bedroom and the family bathroom. Bedrooms two, three and four are located on the second floor.

The first floor bedroom at the property is a double room, as are bedrooms two and three. The fourth bedroom is home to a single bed. Each bedroom has plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have a great night’s sleep throughout your stay at Spindrift.

The single bed at the property also has an additional single day bed which can be made up to increase the occupancy to eight. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the living room which can also be made up if required to come to a total occupancy of ten at Spindrift. Any additional beds should be requested to our friendly team after booking.

Modern and clean, the bathroom has a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and wash basin. An ensuite shower room is also available on the second floor, along with a separate WC on the ground floor.

Head outside and you’ll find an enclosed rear courtyard boasting a hot tub and outdoor seating for up to eight guests, perfect for retreating to after a busy day exploring Whitley Bay.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Whilst you’re visiting Whitley Bay, we’d recommend visiting the two miles of golden sands and taking a look at the incredible views of the coastline from the Victorian lighthouse on St Mary’s Island. Spindrift couldn’t be any closer to the beautiful beach!

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, head to Spanish City where you’ll find a Renaissance-style hall transformed with a fish and chip restaurant, a traditional tearoom, a waffle and pancake house and a champagne bar inside.

You’ll find yet another stunning beach if you visit nearby Tynemouth during your stay. Enjoy relaxing walks along the seafront, amble along the promenade to the popular North Shields Fish Quay or explore the Blue Reef Aquarium.

Getting Around
Whitley Bay is just 10 miles from Newcastle and there are two Arriva bus routes which travel to the city centre. The 306 bus route has stops in Tynemouth, North Shields and Jesmond. The 51/51A has stops in Jesmond and Northumbria University.

There is a metro station located in Whitley Bay with regular routes to South Shields and Newcastle City Centre. The closest mainline train station is Newcastle Central Station which is 25 minutes away. From here, you’ll find regular services to and from London, Edinburgh and York.
