Such a beautiful welcoming cottage.
Warm, cosy, comfortable, spacious, and clean.
Amazing decor, attention to detail.
All amenities.
Tranquil location.
Can't fault this beautiful place.

Staying at Bluebell Cottage was lovely. Very smart and clean. Easy to find. Peaceful countryside location a short drive to local villages.

Great location, comfy and warm.
Would have perhaps expected Christmas decorations.

Lovely well equipped cottage exactly as pictured in a group of 6. Remote location ideal to get away from everything. Near enough to towns for restaurants and places of interest to visit. We were able to get the train to Edinburgh easily for a day trip there. Take what you need as no shops close by.

I'd love to be able to review bluebell cottage bu unfortunately, Host and Stay did not provide the pin to access the property so we were prevented from accessing the stay we have paid for.. This property requires a £250 deposit ( extreme eh?) but about 10 days before our planned stay, we were contacted and asked to also provide ID (driving license/passport) and details to Superhog within 24 hours and pay an additional fee- This wasn’t mentioned before, so we had no time to do any due diligence on superhog ( superhog add these details to a database that they hold for 7 years) -personal data requested and time pressure are hallmarks of a scam. The data being requested would be enough for identity theft and cannot be guaranteed to be kept safe. In the event that this copied ID was then used to fraudulently obtain credit it will be harder to prove fraud. Host and stays position was that we either provide these details and pay this new charge or forfeit the booking and money.
Host and stay have set up the Superhog “know your guest” portal to charge a £10 handling fee when paying the deposit OR a £25 damage waiver ( they apparently set these charges)
While Booking.com agreed that Host and Stay were trying to change the conditions we had booked under, and told us not to pay the additional change or provide ID, apparently they have no power to force Host and Stay to honour their booking terms and conditions.
We consider this to be a breach of Contract.
These conditions have apparently been in place for over a year for all Host and Stay properties so why have the listings not been updated to include this? We were concerned that this was just the first of many spurious charges given that we had already agreed to a £50 cleaning charge, a £25 service charge and a £250 deposit on a paid in advance, non refundable booking.
I expect this review will be deleted by Host and stay so it will be copied elsewhere.

Beautiful little cottage, it was very cosy. Has a great modern feel in a converted farm building. Perfect for a couple getaway, myself and wife loved it, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The decor & location.
No washing machine in actual property.

Warm and cosy. We'll equipped.
Internet was very bad

Cottage was immaculate, everything you need for a cosy stay.
Extras included reclining sofas, high quality towels, really warm.
Location is excellent for Bamburgh - We had looked at staying in Bamburgh but was so expensive, this was very good value and only a few minutes drive
Nothing - everything we needed

The cottage was wonderful.
Unfortunately we will not use Booking.com again where host and stay are involved.
The reason for this is the demand for a £250 damage deposit is completely out of order...I paid a £25 waiver as reports of people having problems getting the deposits returned was worrying.
There was a subtle suggestion of us losing our holiday Booking if this was not paid.
I find this completely unacceptable as this was only made clear after you made and paid for the holiday Booking.
Once again, we will not use you again where Host and Stay is involved.
S Grimshaw
See above.

Peaceful
Internet was non existent Customers need to be warned of this
Continuing emails from host & stay felt intrusive.

This was a really comfortable apartment close to Bamburgh. Looks as though it has recently been refurbished with new fixtures and fittings. It was cosy and warm.
This looks to be converted farm buildings. As a consequence they were situated out in the countryside, only accessible by narrow roads. It was also probably the reason for the poor wifi. When booking this property had to fill out an online Host & Stay Registration Form - not something I've had to do for Booking.com properties. Also in addition to payment, they required a refundable £250 deposit against damage or breakages, which they took at least two weeks before arrival. It was returned about a week after leaving the property. They charge a £10 admin fee for this.

Cottage very nice, looks exactly like the listing. Great space in the bedroom especially nice to have a dressing table
Great shower although takes a while for hot water to come through, nice quality towels and bathrobes a nice touch
listing says internet is intermittent but we found it non existent some days which did cause us issues

The property was lovely and very well kept. If I were to slightly critical with the position of the bathroom I would suggest a blind of some variety on the adjacent front door for privacy. Other than that it was well appointed and beautifully peaceful.

Very good

Clean, peaceful had everything we needed.
Loved the property. The micro management of host and stay spoilt the experience for me.

The space and the reclining sofas. The cottage was well equiped.
The bed was a little too soft for us and the quilt too heavy. The cottage was more remote than we expected and it was difficult to find initially.

Cottage is in a great location to explore the coast and we enjoyed trips to the farnes and holy island. The house is part of a set of holiday cottages in a fairly isolated location and you’ll need to get in a car to find a shop or restaurant. Comfy inside with a well provided kitchen. Internet was slow/unreliable, this didn’t matter to us but you might want to check if you do need connectivity. Will recommend to friends.

Beautifully decorated and furnished.
Nothing.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country. Just utterly let down by the management of Host and Stay. Will come again to this area but never again with a Host and Stay property. A real shame but not worth the hassle.
Property management experience. *warning* They take a £250 bond that I had to chase to get back - and a £10 admin fee that you don't get back at all! You have to do an online ID check required beforehand, but link didnt work - no support on that. Being bombarded with messages and emails and texts but all automated so nothing helpful, no human interaction. Code for the keys was sent a few hours before we arrived not 7 days as they said it would.
We booked for longer initially then reduced the days. We amended the booking very quickly but it took ages to finally get the difference back. Booked through booking.com but there was no automatic refund. Had to ring and chase Host and Stay who had to "send an email to finance" before getting it back.
Also as others have said Wifi is so poor to the point that they shouldn't advertise as having any.

Not happy to be charged after booking for a damage charge.
Unwelcome & unexpected.
I’m still unaware how long my £250 will be refunded to me.
Perhaps you can advise & I hope it won’t be “x amount of working days”
I pay on time, so should you.

The cottage was immaculate and spacious with everything we needed. There was tea bags, coffee and milk left for us. It was in a quiet court yard with several other cottages, and plenty of parking. It was an easy drive to where ever we wanted to go.
Internet wasn’t great.

Everything you need for self catering
No blind on main door, blackout blinds in bedroom would be great.

Nice clean cottage

Lovely clean cottage with everything you need. Great location

Comfortable, clean, well equipped, nice walk to local pub, footpath opposite, warm, welcoming, very nice all round, good location for visiting the area.

Bluebell cottage is a great place to stay. The cottage is a restful, peaceful and in the countryside. It is a very central place, to stay, only 2.5 miles from Bamburgh and 12 miles from Holy Island.
The entry is by keypad, with clear instructions of the number. The cottage has everything you require and is spotlessly clean. There are two large modern televisions, one in the lounge and ones In the bedroom. The bedroom is large, with a comfortable bed and a chaise lounge, dressing table and bedside tables.
The bathroom has a large shower, with large and small shower heads for a great shower.
The kitchen has all the amenities required. There is also a large pantry where all the pots and plates are kept. There is always lots of warm water, but be patient.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Heerlijk huisje, smaakvol en fris ingericht, dichtbij Bamburgh en de Farne island. Heerlijk rustig plekje.

-

Very good

Excellent stay, had everything we needed and was a great location

fantastic very clean

Absolutely lovely place to stay and the surrounding areas are just stunning

Wi-Fi reception

beautifully presented clean and cosy
nothing

Property was great.
Nothing.

A lovely property located in a rural setting, allowing us to walk locally or venture further afield to explore the many places of interest in Northumberland. A perfect spot for visiting Bamburgh and Holy Island.
The accommodation was spacious enough for two people and well furnished. We found the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and there was a good supply of hot water for taking a shower.

Self catering. Privacy.

Beautiful little cottage. Very cosy for a winter break. It is nicely furnished and generally very well equipped and comfortable. The location is very quiet but an easy drive to local restaurants, and to Bamburgh and other local attractions.
The cottage was generally excellent, but a few small issues mean its a 9 not a 10. Wifi was very weak, so it's not possible to use smart tv functions and even loading webpages was very slow / impossible. The cottage lacked much information or instructions for e.g. heating, access to laundry facilities, there was also no information about the many local attractions. There didn't seem to be any option for recycling so we ended up bringing ours home. There were a few light bulbs out (facing fireplace and in bathroom), no basics in the kitchen (salt, pepper etc.), flat batteries in kitchen scales and the bedding seemed cheap in comparison to everything else. It was fine for winter but if it had been warmer there is no private outdoor space and certainly not the 'garden' listed. Like other reviewers the Host & Stay communication was frustrating, their email system doesn't seem to work, they bombard you with automated emails but never reply to any so I had a few unnecessary phone calls. It's all rather impersonal collecting the key from the box and never meeting anyone associated with the property.

great location
just need a bit more attention to cleaning - cobwebs everywhere and grubby wall near splash back in kitchen
the whole booking process was rather stressful - I kept receiving emails asking me to complete damage waivers despite already having done so and then threats in emails that our booking would be cancelled this resulted in at least 3 phone calls which could have been avoided

Very good

Had a lovely stay in Bamburgh. The cottage was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, wifi is very poor and there is no reception so difficult to keep on track of work or stream films. However, would come back again!

Cosy cottage. Lovely setting. Well equipped kitchen. Second visit.
All good

The cottage is just beautiful. Tastefully decorated with a touch of luxury
we liked everything

would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet break out of the way.The cottage is decorated to a lovely high standard that is both modern but also very cozy. Each room was decorated to high standard. The accommodation does have everything you need from lovely fluffy towels and dressing gowns to a all the essentials in the kitchen to whip up a nice simple meal should you need to. The only thing I have to say is the wifi was available throughout our stay but hopefully this is something that is easily resolved for other users. we will definitely be saving this property on our list to return in the future was just what we needed the relax and enjoy our few days away.

lovely place, just like the pictures

We enjoyed a long weekend staying here on our first trip to Northumbria. The cottage is warm and nicely decorated with a good shower and useable kitchen. The WiFi isn't reliably so I wouldn't say it's possible to work remotely here or get good quality video streaming (we did manage to watch a football match but it was low quality). There wasn't anything particularly welcoming or with that special touch you get from self hosted air bnbs but communication with the company that runs the property was generally fine.

Great location. Very comfortable accommodation. Had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

A really lovely property in the perfect location to visit popular attractions in Northumberland, such as Bamburgh, Holy Island and Alnwick. The property was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days. Thank you, we would recommend it to anyone!

Great place.

Everything!
Salt pot was found to be empty as the bung had been pushed up into the body of the thing, but I rectified that.

A cosy cottage, perfect for two.

Bluebell Cottage was beautifully decorated and spacious for two people. The artwork on the walls was lovely and by a young local artist. The shower room was excellent and the kitchen quite well equipped. The property was very well situated for exploring the Northumbrian coast.
Unfortunately the property description was not accurate. There was no washer or drier in the kitchen - a laundry across the courtyard housed a poorly functioning washer and drier shared with multiple other properties. We had to contact the letting agency to get a password for an alternative Wi-Fi as the cottage Wi-fi didn't work and even the alternative was slow and insufficient to stream anything to supplement the basic TV coverage. There was also no garden as advertised but merely a paved / tarmac area shared with the adjoining cottage. We were also bombarded with confusing and conflicting emails from 'Host and Stay' before and during our stay including two emails and a text telling us to make sure we checked out on time or else!!

Immaculate accommodation perfect for a couple and vacation in Northumberland. Very spacious lounge/diner, large bedroom, nice small kitchen with standard fridge and cooker. Shower room has hot water on tap and modern. Location in a very peaceful and down country lanes.

great location, warm, comfortable bed, parking onsite was good
fire didn’t work, check in and check out times were restrictive, extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work, spotlight out facing fire

Very good

Bluebell cottage is a lovely cottage in a convenient location for exploring the main sites in Northumberland. It’s spacious, comfortable and has good facilities. The Wi-Fi is a little slow but that’s understandable given the remote location.

We loved our stay at Bluebell cottage. It was just as advertised.

Lockbox could be easier to open.
Lots of cobwebs all over the property, needs a good clean. Windows only opened a little, hard in hot weather.

The accommodation was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay, the location was great with only a short drive to nearby areas. Really enjoyed our stay

Our only suggestion for improvement would be to ensure the salt cellar is replenished

The cottage was set in a beautiful rural location, just 2 miles from Bamburgh. The property was clean., modern and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped and the lounge and bedroom spacious, light and comfortable, especially the bed and reclining sofas. The bathroom was excellent with a powerful walk in shower.. The property far exceeded our expectations and we would thoroughly recommend.
Everything was fabulous

Description of property accurate, very light, airy, modern and clean. Easy access by car to Bamburgh. Very quiet surroundings with beautiful sunsets. I would book the property again.

A beautiful cottage, would return in a heartbeat. Comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and really well equipped. It's in a good location for exploring Bamburgh and the surrounding area. Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend

Superb country location. Very peaceful and quiet.
Nothing

Extremely spacious and modern inside
Beautiful quiet location, overlooking fields.
Very comfy bed and sofas. well equipped kitchen
There was nothing that we didn’t like but a little area information might be useful with a map of the immediate area. I realise those can be googled but logged in on one device then had difficulty with a second.
There was no information or receptacle for recycling. We brought ours away to recycle at home. May I also suggest not providing little plastic bottles of shampoo etc? Use nice refillable stone bottles instead.

Loved the peace and the location. It could not have been better. A totally unspoiled area and perfect for a nature lovers like us.
There was nothing that we did not like.

Excellent property clean and tidy great location very well equipped with all you need

This beautifully presented cottage and it's rural surroundings gave us everything that we required for a peaceful relaxing holiday. The modern furnishings and spotless rooms emphasised how much thought and effort the owners must have given to ensure that visitors are comfortable from the moment they enter, and with excellent kitchen and shower facilities also included it far exceeded our expectations. This property also represents excellent value for money and is definitely one we will becoming back to.

Fantastic location for the Northumbria coast with Bamburgh literally down the road. If you want to do the three castles Lindisfarne , Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh you couldn’t be more better situated. Seahouses is the place to be to organise trips to the Farne Islands.
Bradfords cottages are well equipped with only the internet being fairly erratic on connection. Lovely comfortable bed and nicely equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water for a super shower.

Amazing place. Perfect location. Has everything you need! Wonderful host, very each to get in touch if needed! Would highly recommend!

This property is in a perfect location for exploring Banburgh castle and its surrounding coastal areas.

The accomodation is immaculate and really well presented. I highly recommend staying at this property.

The hosts had thought of everything

Excellent place to stay as a base for exploring the coast. Really clean, nice accommodation, would highly recommend

Charming Cottage and surrounding area were beautiful
Perfect location for all sightseeing beach and walks
Wi-Fi was intermittent at best.

Excellent accommodation, well equipped, comfortable and in a quiet location but only a short distance from Bamburgh and surrounding towns and villages. The cottage is clean, pleasantly furnished and has parking available right outside. Very happy with our stay and would consider rebooking in the future.

Very quiet location. The accommodation was very modern and we'll equipped. Loved the high ceiling with roof lights in the lounge. Some great attractions close by as well as wonderful scenery. Close to major roads but far enough away to not hear them. Good selection of restaurants within a short drive. Highly recommended.
Door hinges need a drop of oil, but hardly a major spoiler.

A wonderful place for a quiet escape. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Spotlessly clean. Very cosy. A few miles from Bamburgh Castle and Seahouses. Try the lively fishing village of Craster, about thirty minutes drive, for excellent seafood. Excellent and prompt communication from the management team. Broadband speed can be limited, though.

The communication from the host was excellent. really helpful. the cottage is well located and you can access the coast and other local villages with ease. the cottage is beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. the shower was wonderful! the heating is toasty warm. the bed was SOOOOO comfortable. perfect for a short break for 2.
the only issue is I had no WiFi the duration of the stay. there is WiFi at the property but it does not work well.

This is a deligthful place to stay. Perfectly positioned for access to lots of lovely walks and sights in Northumberland. A peaceful haven to retreat to at the end of a busy day. Bluebell is cosy as well as bright and airy, tastefully decorated and scrupulously clean. It offerred everything we needed, especially sumptuous towels (1 small, medium and large each!) and bathrobes. The bed was large and very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful and the surroundings tranquil and beautiful.

Lovely cottage in great location, just a short drive from Bamburgh and the Northumberland coast. Spacious and well equipped for any length of stay.

very considerate and accomodating host who had to move us at last minute

A fantastic property for 2 people in a quiet location but only 5 mins drive to Bamburgh.
Very clean and kitchen has everything you would ever need.
Agents communication was very good.
WiFi was ok, a bit hit and missy sometimes but your on holiday so do without it for a day or 2, it wont do you any harm. 2 bars on EE 4G there if you can’t do without it.
We will definitely be back !!
Julian & Mandy.

Lovely and cosy but with lots of space great all round.
Could have done with wifi.

Excellent accommodation in a superb location. Sparklingly clean, very cosy and comfortable living room and bedroom, with modern bathrooms and hot shower. Kitchen had every facility and gadget you could think of. We had a brilliant time on a crisp, sunny winter weekend, warm and cosy indoors and enjoying the wild, peaceful beauty of the Northumberland countryside and coast. Many thanks

Very nice cottage a few miles from Bamburgh. Would stay again!

The quiet country setting
There was no Wi-Fi during our stay

Lovely cottage for two. Everything thought of. We'll equipped kitchen. Lovely rural location.

Everything! It was just what we expected. Peaceful, luxurious, clean and relaxing.

Really lovely place to stay! Amenities great and so cozy and comfortable. Definitely will be staying again. Only issue is with WiFi/internet and had no 4g as it's in the middle of the countryside.

We left Blubell cottage this morning. Its a lovely cottage with comfortable furniture and bed. It's really clean and the location is great. There are some stunning places and beaches to visit along with castles. In particular Bamburgh, Alnmouth, Alnwick and my favorite Warkworth. I would recommend this cottage if you enjoy peace and quiet with close access to wonderful Northumbrian venues.

Bluebell Cottage was quite beautiful, and in a great spot to take a long walk or bike ride into Bamburgh. Would recommend.

This was a lovely place to stay, very cosy and clean. Lovely size for 2 people and has everything you need. Hosts are very helpful when it comes to communication, we had pretty bad weather and they made sure to call back even though it would have been busy for them. Quite remote but there are plenty of things to do nearby with pubs, restaurants etc.
We will hopefully be returning when we can, would 100% recommend.

Brilliant size, nice and cosy, everything you need to relax after walking around bamburgh castle. shower to die for, parking right outside the door. would definitely recommend, will be going again.

We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay here and would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the stunning Northumberland coast with all its beaches and castles. The cottage was spotless, tastefully furnished and well equipped. A pint of milk and tea, coffee and sugar were supplied, thank you. The large bed and the sofas were really comfortable, and lovely fluffy towels and bathrobes were supplied. It’s by a farm on a very quiet country lane, barely any traffic, occasional horses going by. A problem with the central heating programmer was swiftly dealt with - a relief as the weather was turning much colder.

Lovely modern cottage, clean and comfortable and in a quiet location but not far from the nearest towns. WiFi not strong enough to stream Netflix etc. but we had a wonderful stay and would come back if we are in the area again.

Perfect location for some peaceful time in Northumberland in easy driving distance to many great walks, beaches, castles and villages. This was perfect for the two of us including fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom, and cosy living area. It was very clean, easy to communicate with the host and useful instructions.

Amazing cottage, beautifully presented and very clean. Nice touches like some milk being provided to start us off. Lots of utensils and cooking equipment and essentials like a cafetière!
Walking/running/cycling distance to the beautiful Bamburgh castle and beach. Also a nice walk across some fields to a pub at Lucker. A short drive to Lindesfarne and Alnwick and other nice places to visit. Only issue is the wifi and lack of reception. Wasn’t able to get on their wifi at all. But other than that is a wonderful place and will definitely visit again.

This cottage is perfect for two people and in a really great location. Felt really rural and off grid but super easy and to drive places if you have a car. Everything in the cottage is a really high spec - we had a gorgeous stay!

Lovely rural cottage - stayed for 2 nights and walked to/from Bamburgh as we didn’t have a car. Bed was so comfortable!
My only criticism is that it was rather expensive considering it’s a 1 bed cottage.

Lovely place to stay. Ideally located away from busy roads and towns but with good link roads to places for little trips out. Bamburgh very close, and Seahouses too and we even took a day out to drive to Edinburgh! Internet is very intermittent in the cottage so make sure you've downloaded some Netflix or something before you go if you plan on watching anything on an evening etc. Plenty of safe parking for cars and bikes. Generally very good and would use again.

Be warned, the minor roads to/from the cottages were OK for us mid October but in colder, harsher weather I imagine they could be quite tricky for less confident drivers, particularly at night. The roads aren'tin bad condition or anything but some roads to/from the cottages are single lane and if anythings coming in the opposite direction it can be a bit tricky to pass.

We could not find the property when we arrived so phoned the number we had been given. The two people we spoke to were both very helpful and one came out in a storm to guide us the 4 miles to the cottage.

It was modern and quite new , decor lovely , there was everything inc in the cottage that you would need for a pleasant stay , quiet location .
The signal WiFi was very poor so watching tv at night was not always possible or connecting to internet. Think it would be an idea to have some info on local walks nearby places of interest within the cottage .

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location, would definitely recommend the property.
Quite a few cobwebs (and spiders) especially in the bathroom.

Clean modern fully equipped.
Lovely decor and soft furnishings
Great location for all sights
Nothing

Lovely cottage, great location ?

Perfect country retreat, great and well equipped accommodation. Lovely decor and spacious modern cottage with all mod cons. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely area, not far from all the national trust and heritage places. Lovely and clean , everything we needed was there. Comfy sofa with cool footrests, lashings of hot water for showers with large soft towels and beds comfy , slept very well . Big TV in sitting room and one in bedroom what a treat.
Coat hangers needed to make use of spacious wardrobe ,maybe a fan but that's being picky and wouldn't stop me coming again that's for sure.

The setting for the cottage is beautiful with a public footpath through a field right opposite the cottages. The cottage is decorated to a high standard with all the comforts of home. As I cooked in the kitchen I often saw from the window rabbits running around outside. Really comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom.
The cottage is remote and not in Belford. It is in Bradford so best to book if you drive. As a non driver, I would recommend booking a food shop as this was a problem carrying food shopping home for an hour from the bus. I would also recommend pre booking any taxis too.

Lovely space. Comfortable. Rural but fine with car. Spotless.

Location
Price
All excellent

Lovely cottage in a quiet rural area. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need and a comfortable place to relax. Great location and base to explore the Northumberland coast. WiFi was a little slow but otherwise we had a great 5 night stay and would highly recommended

Great location with lovely accommodation

Great stay, really high standard and good quality accommodation. Close to Bamburgh for access to good restaurants.

Just spent 3 nights at this gorgeous little cottage in a remote location but only a 5 minute drive into Bamburgh. We found it was a good base to visit other areas of Northumberland. The cottage was tastefully decorated and well equipped and wished we had booked it for longer, would definitely stay there again.

Lovely house, very clean and well equipped. Wifi signal slightly weak, but the owners allowed us to use their private one, so all good.
Would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bluebell Cottage. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
The bed was really comfy and we would definitely stay here again if in the area.
The only small problem is that the wi-fi was a bit hit ‘n miss.

We had a brilliant couple of days in this stunning cottage close to Bamburgh. Really great set up, everything you need and then some. Beautiful cottage in a stunning location.

Beautiful place. Very modern with touch full touches. Great host

Great location, nice and clean. The cottage was bigger than expected and nice touches in the cottage leaving milk and bath robes for our time there.
Great location 5 minutes to Bamburgh castle and the beach.
Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful accommodation. Spotlessly clean, immaculately presented and so comfortable. The location was perfect for us to easily get to Bamburgh. The dog had a great time and there is a nice walk through some fields straight from the house. We’d definitely book again!

Lovely clean and comfortable stay in an excellent location.

A lovely place in a great location

The cottage was nice, lovely feeling of space in the living-room. It was warm and clean. The shower was lovely & the robes a nice touch. We were let down by very slow wifi (computer struggled to load a web-page) but i believe this issue is being dealt with now. Our biggest disappointment was to discover there was no open fire. The listing said there was an indoor fire and the photos showed a pile of logs on the hearth. Unfortunately it was just an electric fan heater and the logs were 'for show'.

We stayed at Bluebell cottage at the end of September for 3 nights, and all I can say is I wish we stayed for longer!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay in this well equipped cosy cottage. The decor was lovely and the place looked brand new and was impeccably clean.

Great location for tourists with it only being a few minutes drive from Bamburgh and Alnwick.

Highly recommend, and I will definitely be staying again

Quiet out of the way cottage, as seen on the website.

The cottage was lovely and had everything you need on your stay away

We really enjoyed our stay at Bluebell cottage - it is in a really fab location only a few minutes drive from Bamburgh. Well equipped kitchen, good amenities and really clean. Thoroughly recommended.

Bluebell Cottage was a real delight, much higher spec interior and decor that we were not expecting. Felt brand new and lots of lovely touches such as sumptuous towels and dressing gowns. Perfect location in between the coast and the national park. Lovely peaceful spot but easy to find. Communication was excellent with the hosts. Highly recommend.

New, clean and stylish cottages set in a great location near to Bamburgh beach. The lodge has all the facilities you’d need for a short stay and it was a comfortable stay although a little warm at night in the bedroom. As a new development it provided good value (but with the airbnb costs added it did soon all add up) and we had a lovely weekend exploring Northumberland with our dogs.

The cottage is really well done out with premium touches and a lovely place to relax for a few days. The location is fab, only a short drive from Bamburgh.

The only small problem we had was the WiFi wasn’t very good and we weren’t able to access Netflix or anything like that on the TV. Obviously don’t come away to sit in front of the TV, but we were there with our 6 month old so wanted to relax and catch up on TV in the evening!

Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a comfy and cosy home from home break.

Beautifully designed with all mod cons .

Great stay will definitely book again
