Gorgeous house, beautifully furnished. very comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect. walking distance to the centre. Lots of different restaurants at the end of the street. And quirky food and coffee places in the box park opposite.

The building site is straight outside... which can't be helped. However, I made guests aware of this as I was witnessed to offensive language, of which some of it was directed at myself. Very upsetting.

Excellent location, nice decoration

1. Big nest of spiders at the side of the twin room Cupboard.(we have a photo of that)
2. A small pan we couldn't use because of previous burned food. (We have a photo)
3. There were 2 hair dryers that were not working, as noted by a cleaner or an inspector who let you know about that on 7th of July. We had to buy our own hair dryer
4. We had to pay 35 pounds fine for parking because we were given wrong information multiple times by the staff. When you say we can contact you for any assistance, you should provide correct information and your answer shouldn't be read the on line guide!
5. There were washing tablets for dish washer not for washing machine, unless I am not aware of FINISH tablets for washing machines.
6. The 25% deposit should be mentioned at the time of booking, not afterwards, which resulted in an extra 25 pounds fee as a damage payment as the 25% deposit does not include 10 pounds administration fee.

The location was fantastic and the house was very nice. Loved having a bath.

Having no hot water or heating when we arrived. Spending the first evening trying to communicate the problem to the out of hour’s team and having to sort the problem out without enough help. Other people’s comments showed this problem had occurred before.
Not being warned that the property was directly opposite a building site which started work by 8 am.

The house was clean and comfortable. It was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped with high end appliances, utensils and dishes.

Had an issue when we locked the key in the house. It was resolved, however it could have been done in a more timely manner.

The location is great, all the major sights easily accessible on foot. Train station being only 20 minutes walk from the apartment. The beds and bedding were comfortable and a good collection of kitchen equipment made it easy to cook dinner at the apartment. The seating area outside was alright and when the sun shone we could have our morning coffee out there.

Though the apartment was relatively well looked after there was a broken door handle, broken light in the kitchen. The sink faucet in the kitchen was leaking. And the outside area could've been tidied up a bit, surfaces swept and broken table removed.
Upon arrival the heating did not work and in instructions we weren't told were the heat link was situated and therefore the first night went into trying to find it and then troubleshoot the thermostat.
Then the day after the heating was still not working properly and the hosts wanted us to try to work it out. So quite some time went into doing that. On our third day there the hosts finally managed to get someone to come fix it so we could have a shower and do the washing up. Fortunately it wasn't cold outside and therefore ok in the apartment, just very damp as it was pouring rain and it would've been nice being able to put wet clothes and shoes on warm radiators.
There are bus lines that run on the street in front of the house and for light sleepers that can be a bit difficult waking up every so often to the house shaking when the bus passes.
