Getting Around
With Taddington being a small village nestled in the heart of the Peak District, this peaceful and scenic location offers limited public transport options due to its rural setting. However, there are still ways to get around and explore nearby areas, especially if you're open to a bit of walking or using nearby towns for connections. There are a few bus routes serving Taddington, including Route 172 which is a primary bus service connecting Taddington with Bakewell and Buxton. Alternatively Route 173 will take you to Matlock (around 8 miles away), this route connects Taddington with this historic town. Matlock offers attractions such as Cromford Mill and the Matlock Bath area, as well as good rail links for further travel.
