The Space
The stylish open plan living, kitchen and dining room offers a TV, a comfortable seating for all guests, as well as a bright and airy atmosphere.
The lovely well-equipped kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher, and in the dining area, there’s plenty of seating and all the crockery, cutlery, and glassware you’ll need.
The apartment features two bright bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with twin single beds. The two single beds can be merged into a king upon request prior to your arrival. Both rooms provide ample storage and space to relax.
The family bathroom has a toilet, sink, and shower over the bath, with a vanity cupboard for toiletries. The king room’s ensuite is home to a large walk-in shower.
Enjoy a spacious patio with uninterrupted views of the beach and sea. The garden furniture is perfect for relaxing with drink or dining alfresco. Bike storage is also on offer at Folk-a-Casa.
Neighborhood
Folk-a-Casa is a 10-minute walk to Folkestone Harbour and the old High Street offering a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and museums. Also, a short walk away is the Lower Leas Coastal Path. The park has won the Green Flag Award and offers a multitude of activities, including a large free adventure playground for children, a labyrinth, picnic areas and a cafe.
The apartment is on the King Charles III England Coast Path with scenic walks to Dungeness via Sandgate and Hythe, and to the White Cliffs of Dover.
The property building is about a 20-minute drive from Port Lympth Safari Park which is Kent’s biggest wildlife park and a breeding sanctuary for rare and endangered animals. A 30-minute drive away is Kent Downs National Park, offering many opportunities for exploring wildlife, woods, chalk grassland, pretty villages and allows many activities such as walking, cycling and horse riding.
The Wine Garden of England can also be found 30 minutes away by road with its many wineries offering wine tasting and restaurants with local produce on the menu.
Getting Around
Folkestone has easy access to the M20 motorway
Folkestone Central Train Station has regular direct services operating to Dover, London and Ramsgate. The Eurotunnel Folkestone Terminal is a link to the Eurostar service operating between London and Europe.
Folkestone has great bus links to locations across the South East with regular routes operating to Ashford, Canterbury, Dover and Lydd.
The nearest airport to Folkestone is Southend Airport which is 39.4 miles away. Other nearby airports include London Gatwick (58.2 miles), London Stansted (68.5 miles), London Heathrow (75.5 miles) and London Luton (86.8 miles).

The keys to Folk-a-Casa are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.
Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle.
Up to two well-behaved small dogs or one well-behaved medium to large dog are welcome to stay at Folk-a-Casa per reservation.
Please note that there is CCTV in the communal area of the estate. There is also one outdoor security camera overlooking the patio Folk-a-Casa.
