A lovely house situated in a very quiet location. The only real problem we had was the access to parking. The few spaces at the end of the terrace row was very difficult to get into and turn around in

Great little cottage in a very convenient location in the centre of town and just a short walk from the beach.

We had to pay an additional £25 policy charge for damages. I expect this on a high end property, but not on a place like this. On arrival a lamp is hanging off the wall, the mirror on the bedroom wall is wedged behind the radiator, and the dvd player shelf is loose and hanging off the wall, considering the place sleeps 6 people the stand alone fridge freezer is very small. There is no iron or ironing board. I rang to ask where it was to be told it doesn’t advertise as having one. I’m sorry but unless you are camping this is a basic. I have never stayed somewhere that doesn’t have this. All this said the property was generally nice and well presented, the village of marske by the sea is pleasant and people are friendly. To access the property to unload could be tricky if you are in a large vehicle. We have a VW Transporter. Although I could get in and turn round to get out there were no spaces to park. (Used by residents, which is fair) we parked on the free public car park 100yds away
