Great place in a great location. Very comfy cottage, well equipped with everything you need including a nice garden & plenty of parking. Short walk to 2x good pubs, a row of shops and the coastal path. This was a perfect spot to base our stay.

Cottage was comfortable, warm and good beds. Spacious well equipped kitchen, apart from absence of teapot! Our dog was also very contented.

This is a fabulous house to stay in with 3 good sized bedrooms, and extremely comfy beds, and all the mod cons you need such as a dishwasher and washing machine plus garden and washing line so dont have to bring a loaf of dirty laundry home. The real positive is the location, we could actually see the marshes and Holt island from the garden and the walk to the 2 pubs was minimal and fantastic walk to Brancaster beach.

Kitchen well equipped. Young children's toys, books and board games available. Plenty of hot water for all of us to have showers. Beds were comfy.

Lock box for house keys was open and empty when we arrived so I called the out of hours team to try and gain access. First person was rather rude, put me on hold then hung up on me. Second person was helpful and provided information on accessing a second lock box with the spare set of keys - unfortunately this meant going through the neighbours garden. Was told housekeepers would bring the original set of keys but this never happened.
Crisp crumbs on the sofa and litter on the lounge carpet, damp and mould throughout the property, garden unkempt, cobwebs everywhere, generally just run down and unloved but you can tell it was once a lovely place. People visiting neighbours parked in our allocated space.

Great location, brilliant local amenities, lovely simple cottage. Good for a family with kids and dog.
Just needs a microwave and maybe a hairdryer!
Couldn't find oven gloves or a pizza cutter either ? but no complaints otherwise.

2 Ruscon Cottage is in the perfect location, near to the marshes and close to two excellent pubs and is great for visiting the rest of north Norfolk. The house was clean and very well equipped, with a garden and eating out space, very useful as the weather was wonderful during our stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April with our 2 daughters aged 16 & 11.
We love Norfolk and this cottage is perfectly located for exploring the north coast.
The cottage offered all the facilities we needed, the rooms are comfortable and it's a cosy, warm cottage, especially at Easter when the weather can be unpredictable! We were very lucky, picking the only sunny weekend in the Easter holidays it would seem.
The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment and cleaning materials. The lounge is spacious and comes with games to pass the time if it's wet.
Upstairs is a good sized bathroom and a further loo. The 3 bedrooms are a good size with views towards the sea.
Plenty of space outside to park and unload. In walking distance of a good pub and of course the coastal path. Nearby are the well-stocked Dalegate shops for food provisions and gifts.
