Great location. No parking but there’s a free car park literally 20 seconds away and we had no issues getting a space on a Saturday evening. Lovely, quiet street with good local amenities should they be required.
Bright, tasteful property with everything you could need for a short stay. Coffee machine and pods was a welcome bonus and I was delighted to find a few cooking basics in place, eg olive oil, salt. Not sure if they were left from the previous guests but they were very handy!
We stayed as a couple with our 16 year old daughter. The property is quite dinky but we were comfortable throughout our stay.

It was a shame we weren’t able to request a later checkout on a Sunday.
Arrivals info was slow to come. I had to chase up the details of key collection on Friday afternoon for a
Saturday arrival. I would’ve liked this to come Thursday/before lunch Friday without having to seek it myself.
I wasn’t happy that and extra £25 was requested after booking for insurance. At the time of booking, it stated all fees included.
Would be tight for 4 adult guests as the loft room wasn’t ideal for tall adults! Stairs very steep. Not an issue for us but worth bearing in mind if booking with young children or older guests.

16 St James Street is well positioned in Wetherby. It is warm and cosy. It is on a busy road but the double glazing is good. Just don't open the bedroom window. The property has all you need for a short stay (except Live TV). The double bedroom while comfortable is sparsely furnished it could do with a chest of drawers and a second bedside table and light). We were asked several times to complete a damage waiver (at extra cost) but there was no link. It only came through an hour before we were due to check in! We paid the damage waiver and then received the joining instructions. Communicating with the host was impersonal and v poor. Calls go to a switchboard who merely pass on messages or say they will 'get in touch with the developer'. We were disappointed when we reported that there was no LiveTV as advertised. We had to keep repeating what the problem was. We were eventually told the 'maintenance team' would attend. As far as we know they didn't. Disappointing.

Suited us well and I’m originally from the area so knew exactly where it was. Plenty of car parking choices. Wetherby is a delightful market town and good choice of restaurants etc.
