This Victorian terraced property is deceptively spacious as it has four floors of accommodation with all the rooms being well-proportioned and with period character. What’s more, Gray Street is within a short walk of the town centre and harbour. Built at the turn of the century, this property sits proudly above Whitby Harbour and has views of Whitby Abbey in the distance. Gray Street promises a great base to stay in Whitby.
The Space
On the ground floor there is a through lounge/sitting room with a fireplace and bay window that lets in plenty of natural light, along with a downstairs WC.
There is an open plan kitchen/diner with solid oak cabinetry and space for a dining table with seating for up to ten, along with a utility and a pantry store on the lower ground floor which has access onto a private yard.
Upstairs on the first floor, there are four double bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedrooms three and four can be found on the second floor. All bedrooms benefit from having modern gas central heating and double-glazing to the front.
To the rear is an enclosed rear yard that has access to the back ginnel, making it suitable for storing bikes.

Whitby Train Station is also a terminus of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway where you can travel back in time on a heritage rail journey to the market town of Pickering, along with the countryside villages of Goathland, Grosmont and Levisham.
A number of bus routes operate in Whitby offering services to Guisborough, Leeds, Loftus, Malton, Middlesbrough, Scarborough and York.
