The neighbourhood is a peaceful, seaside, residential neighbourhood with an established community and attractive sea-side surroundings . Residents are within a short walk of the West Cliff area, beaches, coastal paths, and panoramic sea views. The town centre, harbour, railway station, and a range of cafés, restaurants, and independent shops are all accessible on foot or by a short drive.
