Duke Street Abode

The apartment is shabby. First impression on entering the hallway is ‘grubby’. There are marks on the walls and doors. In the bedrooms and the main living area, the windows are dirty and plainly have not been cleaned for a long time. The toilet seats are loose and slide from side to side. The sofa bed is a poor sofa. It is not comfortable for sitting on.<br/>On the other hand, the floors were clean as were the kitchen work surfaces. We didn’t use the cooking facilities except to make toast for breakfast.<br/>We didn’t use the apartment’s streaming services, but the Wi-Fi worked fine.<br/>The location was excellent for us – halfway between the Anglican cathedral and Liverpool One. There are lots of bars and restaurants close by.<br/>It is expensive for what it is.

Very clean and amazing location! So close to everything which meant we saved money on ubers etc<br/><br/>1. There was no antibacterial handwash in any of the bathrooms.<br/>2. Key collection is at a different site. May be easier to have key boxes by the property instead.

- Really spacious property <br/>- Parking provided <br/>- A home from home<br/><br/>- The lift was not working at the time (appreciate it’s not the fault of the property) but it was difficult navigating lots of stairs with 2 children and a pram in tow!<br/>- Bedrooms were really warm<br/>- if you’ve booked a travel cot, you need to tell the property in advance that you want it putting up

The set up worked for us as a group and the position to town was good for us.<br/><br/>It was fine, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like, except the road works in the morning on Friday, but that was out of your control.

sehr schönes Appartement, sind zu 5 angereist. Es waren 2 separate Badezimmer und 2 separate Schlafzimmer (1 S<br/>Zusatzbett) vorhanden und eine schöne Küche mit Wohnzimmer inkl. Couch wo auch noch eine Person schlafen könnte. Die Lage ist perfekt, zufuß nicht weit entfernt von Liverpool One und Lime Street. Die Gastgeber sind immer gut erreichbar , check in und check out sehr einfach gestaltet.

We were visiting Liverpool for work and stayed at the apartment for 3 nights. I collected the keys but struggled to find the front door as maps took me to a courtyard rather than the entrance which is on duke street. The apartment is a good size and well equipped. Though it’s a bit run down and could use a lick of paint to spruce it up. Great location for town!

Stayed here with 3 friends for a girly weekend. The apartment was in a really convenient location for our plans. The team were very responsive to our questions and recommended car parks and restaurants near by. <br/>Would definitely recommend as a great base for a weekend in Liverpool.

Katy, Joe, Charlie, & Team were great throughout the booking process. My family stayed at the flat which was extremely comfortable and just as shown in the pictures. The location is great, being close to loads of things to do in Liverpool and right on an important road which made everything easier. Would definitely rent it again for them next time they visit.

Property is in a great location for a city break with all the main attractions within walking distance. Apartment was modern, clean and well equipped. Bonus to have a parking space in a secure garage as well. Slept the 6 of us comfortably and good value for money. Hosts were very responsive to any queries/issues! Would definitely stay again.<br/><br/>Only issue during stay was the balcony door would not close/lock properly. Made hosts aware and they assured this would be sorted by their maintenance team.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!<br/>This company is a scam. The property they provided was not safe. There was a balcony door that did not lock and anybody could have accessed the building from the outside. I reported this to Host-So-Simple as soon as I arrived. They claimed a maintenance man came out to look at it and stated it did lock. However when we returned to the property the door was still able to open from the outside. I was staying in the property with my daughter and did not feel safe. I asked to be moved and they only other property they had had awful reviews by previous guests stating it smelled of fish and there was no hot water. In addition to this they told me that the only way to access the parking was for my daughter to enter the building on her own, go into the basement garage and locate a button to open the garage door. Again safety is clearly not high on this company's agenda. They have not replied to my messages. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID!

Great location for all the bars and restaurants in the Ropewalks. Everything else in walking distance too. Really clean apartment and had everything we needed for a short stay. The car parking slot was a bonus, though it's extremely tight getting in and out - you might want to park elsewhere if you have a really big car.

The location of the flat was perfect for us. Quiet, but yet not far from all that Liverpool has to offer. Car parking a bonus. Comfortable apartment, clean, good facilities, comfy beds.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was gorgeous and suited our needs exactly. The hosts were so fast and responsive whenever we contacted them and every detail had been thought about. Would highly recommend it and would stay again if we are in the area.

Great flat, exactly as advertised. Comfortable, large sofa bed in the living room. Restaurants on same street as apartment block so can walk to and from dinner within minutes.

Nice play , good communication

Great clean apartment within walking distance of the waterfront, shops and restaurants. We had a great visit including a ferry across the Mersey, Beatles tour and much more. Loves walking along the waterfront.

The perfect apartment for our weekend away! We used all of the beds too and all were incredibly easy to use and really comfy. Definitely would recommend our stay to family and friends looking for someone to stay whilst in Liverpool. Communication was fantastic and nothing was too much of an issue.

We would thoroughly recommend. Very comfy beds and everything you could want for a stay away. The location is perfect for exploring Liverpool and parking on site was an added bonus.
