Ubicación. 1. Mala señalización del apartamento. 2. Muy dispendiosa la consecución de las llaves para la entrada al apartamento. Las llaves se reclaman en una tienda a unas cuadras distantes del apto. 3. Apartamento no apto para ofrecerlo en renta, ascensor dañado, aseo deficiente con toallas del anterior huésped en la lavadora y colchón de sofá cama con basura y sucio. 4. Tuberías tapadas que originaron mal olor en el ambiente y limitación del uso de los sanitarios, sin una respuesta real del arrendador a pesar de haber sido informado inmediatamente sobre la situación, quien solamente se limitó a ofrecer disculpas.

Our party have used Air bnb for all our trips over the last 6 years. This is the first time we have left negative feedback on a property. Major pro for the property is the location in Liverpool city centre. You couldn’t ask for better. However the cons we experienced are very disappointing. A previous guest from October mentioned a broken window, so very disappointed to us over this window was still clearly not repaired and causing a major draft during our stay 2 months later in December! They did come and fix it but only after expressing my unhappiness. We also had an unsecure toilet in one of the bathrooms which leaked waste when flushed. A video was sent but this was not fixed. It caused an inconvenience to us as 2 couples as we always select 2 bathrooms for our stays. But having to avoid walking in your own bodily waste is not what I expect when staying at an air bnb. At online check we had to pay £25 for any damage caused or leave a £200 deposit. Crazy! Given our issues.

Location is great, right in the city centre. The decor was lovely and the apartment was very clean. The mattress on one of the sofa beds is stained. The tv remote was missing and there was only 5 mugs when it sleeps 8 people. The window in the living room was slightly open and it couldn’t be closed so we could hear a lot of noise from the road.

The location was good and the apartment was good too. It is quite spacious and is good for a few days away. Use should really share the location or put the exact address for key pick up. The link wouldn't work and it just took way to much time to try and solve or a private message stating the exact address. Also as much as everywhere was clean I'm not fussy but for other people use could get protective mattress covers for the sofa beds, the stains are terrible. For any1 who needs this information there is a storage box that has the duvets and sheets inside the living room. Also lift not working and there doesn't seem to be any effort to try and get them fixed.

Loved the location, tea and coffee were left for us which was nice for the morning. Two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. We didn’t have a duvet cover for the sofa bed which we had to make up so had to buy one (contacted the host and they didn’t do anything to help). Quite noisy at night but we knew it would be due to central location!

Die Unterkunft hat die perfekte Lage, was den Preis auch wert macht. Das ABER: ein Fenster lies sich nicht schliessen, dadurch sind wir in der Wohnung fast erfroren. Das war beim check in schon so und die Eigentümer hatten es provisorisch repaiert. Zusätzlich ist das Apartment schmutzig wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Der Lift ist ebenso kaputt und das schon seit mehreren Wochen… alles in allem war nur die Lage gut. Dennoch nicht zu empfehlen.

Location was good very close to city. Lift didn’t work.

There were 8 of us that stayed here. Finding the building was a little difficult and it doesn’t make it very clear that you have to go and pick the keys up from a newsagents round the corner! I also tried ringing the number provided for help and no one answered. Lift was out of order which I know is the building responsibility however lugging cases up the stairs was a pain. It was also extremely hot in the apartment as only one window in the lounge only slightly opened. We had to have the fans on constantly!!

Great location and facilities in the apartment

Location was excellent right in the city centre. Good size apartment. Bed mattresses were awful. Not comfortable. Carpets and sofa cushions were dirty. Lift broken. 4 flights of stairs. Communal area entrance and staircase filthy. Sofa bed mattress really stained and no covers supplied. Shower and bath blocked.

I liked the proximity to the city center. The kitchen is relatively new, the equipment is average. There was dust and dirt everywhere. The carpet is dirty! Beds with a worn mattress. The water in the sink and in the shower did not drain. The windows were closed, no ventilation!We contacted Charlie about the mess. At first he asked us to send pictures of the mess, but he gave us the wrong email address and kept extending it. In the end, we gave up because we didn't want to spoil the trip by constantly solving problems.

Great location and lovely apartment.

The decor was lovely and close to the centre of town. There was no key box at the location as instructed and had a hard time trying to find someone to tell us where to get the keys. Had walk 20 minutes across town with all our bags, buggy, a baby and a senior citizen mother to find the keys. When we got there the code didn’t work and we were put on hold for ages waiting on a new key code. The lift was also out of order which we weren’t told about until we had booked and the money had come off our account.

The apartment was perfect for a group of us travelling, the location was perfect as well as the facilities themselves in the apartment. The lift was out of order during our stay so had to climb up a number of set of stairs

Fantastic stay, it was everything we wanted in the most perfect location being around the city centre it catered to our needs especially, great communication from the host and easy check in instructions, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have an amazing stay in Liverpool.

This apartment is in a great location in the centre of Liverpool and is a really nice, clean place. The only negative is that the windows seem to be really thin and due to the location is noises at night time. To improve it they need to replace the windows with double/triple glazing or leave ear plugs people to sleep with.

Lift being out of order

Central location however property entrance was adjacent to a major bus stop littered with cigarette butts and general litter. 65 stairs to the apartment. Dirty apartment; stained rugs and doona; coffee/tea stains on floor; food scraps between cushions on couch; clumps of fluff and hair on the floor; filthy cupboard housing the washing machine (reluctant to use washing machine); rubbish from previous occupant not cleared. Only one Windows able to partially open. No toilet brush and very slow draining sinks in bathrooms. Did not receive 2nd set of keys despite numerous requests. Extremely disappointing stay which coloured our overall impression of Liverpool.

good location. terrible lumpy bed. they also sting you £10 for the pleasure of offering them a deposit after signing another contract. IMO a chain managed place that takes all the fun out of using air bnb, and it needs improvement anyway. wouldn't recommend.

My first ever negative review of an Airbnb stay. Be aware that they will ask for more money after you book. £25 accidental insurance cover up to £500 or take £250 accidental damage deposit. Fair enough if they mentioned it before booking in their listing on Airbnb, but they don’t. I had to get Airbnb involved and they agreed that the host could not charge this as it was not in their listing. AirBnB we’re very helpful and tried to speak to the host company, but they did not reply to them. I then tried to reason with the hosts, but they kept saying I had to pay. After 24 hours Airbnb phoned the host company again and eventually spoke to some one at the hosts company. Airbnb told them they could not charge this unless it is in the listing and they agreed to not charge me. It still does not say anything in the listing! The window in the main bedroom is screwed shut so no ventilation in there and there is no way of opening the window in the other bedroom, so ventilation poor in the flat.

Very noisy and felt a bit unsafe. Needed some more equipment in the kitchen.

Great location and had everything you need. Comfy beds and modern interior. We were told about the stairs so expected that we would have a bit of a hike. Apartment building could be improved with a working lift and a tidy-up of communal area. Instalment of air-con would be beneficial in the apartment.

We had a fantastic stay in Liverpool celebrating a birthday. The location was perfect and the apartment was just what we needed for 7 of us. We all felt comfortable with lots of space and no walking over each other. We had fantastic communication when requested an extended check out which helped us a lot as train home was not until later in the day. Will definitely recommend to others!

Beautiful apartment! Great value for money and has a great amount of amenities close by! Most things were walking distance. Loads of stairs lift not working. The batteries in the TV remote not working.

It was a pleasure to stay at Katy & Joe place. Great location in the heart of the vibrant Liverpool ! Super helpful hosts with very well made welcome pack alongside with tourist attraction booklet. Definitely a great value for money and a really nice and clean apartment. Would recommend to anyone who would like to be in the central location where nowhere is too far away to go on foot. Thanks!

The place is exactly like the photos….it’s a lovely little flat and very close to the city centre etc, the people that run it are very helpful with booking in etc, but only one window opened and the place is very very warm, it was so uncomfortable at night.

Location Heat was unbearable

They were great. We had trouble with the first place we had booked but they solved the problem and found us a new place which was great. The first place was not as the pictures would suggest.

Clean and convenient stay for our recent work trip. As city centre location noisy at times on street below however expected this and it did not bother us. Our trip was during the recent warm weather and the added touch of fans were very much appreciated as the apartment got very warm. Well equipped kitchen. Clean bathroom. Cannot fault. Hosts were friendly and provided clear information prior to check in and checked we ok during our stay.

The apartment is on the 3 floor. No lift on the building. 20 kg luggage by stair, backache At 04:00 am hour the building alarms… The keys apartment was in a store 2 street from the apartment. We have to go to Livio the keys, and return there. Nobody from the apartment take care. Is a real lazy hostess.

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. It was easy to find based on the info given to us beforehand, collected the key and it was a few minutes walk to the apartment. Parking is available in the next street at £13 per day. The lift is broken so we were quite breathless by the time we reached the apartment. We were advised of this in advance. The apartment is stunning - it was spotless on arrival, it looks better in real life if that's possible! The rooms are big and airy, it was a very comfortable stay. There was tea and coffee provided which was great, thank you. Plenty of Towels for us all. All the rooms were very nice. my teenagers were very impressed and said they could live in it! The only problem for us was the water was not very warm for a shower first thing in the morning. The location is great - few minutes walk from the cavern club and the shops. All in all we had a great stay Thank you! We would stay again

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location in the center was perfect for exploring. The apartment had everything We needed. The host was friendly and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend!

Katy and Joe’s place was the perfect spot for me and my friends weekend away in Liverpool! The flat was conveniently situated 5 minutes from the train station, local supermarket and city centre. The street was bustling but the flat was surprisingly quiet at night meaning we slept easy. The flat comfortably fit 7 of us, some on sofa beds which were surprisingly comfortable. Everything was clean and functioning. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked dinner a couple of nights. Katy and Joe were also super responsive and replied promptly to any questions with clear detailed answers. Thank you very much!!!

God beliggenhed og pæn lejlighed Der var meget koldt og vinduerne især i det ene soveværelse var ikke tætte og ikke lydtætte. Der kom derfor en masse støj fra gaden. Opgangen beskidt.

it was a nice apartment that exactly matching the picture shown in the advertisement. As well as, it is located in perfectly center of the city. Kindly reminding, the bed in the bedroom should be changed due to it's main part slightly softened.

The apartment was perfect for 2 couples to stay for a long weekend. All of the amenities were spotless and a good spec for our needs. The apartment was very central to the city centre attractions, bars and restaurants. The only thing I would note is the apartment is located above a busy bus stop and the bedroom at the front of the flat is single glazed so it can be very noisy throughout the night on a weekend, don’t let this out you off though, the apartment is fantastic and would happily stay here again.

Precise and timely information before and during our stay made it an all-over great experience. Easy to follow instructions and a nice city guide that had us experience sides of Liverpool we wouldn't have without it.

Apartment was great! Very central and everything you need is in walking distance. The apartment was clean and well presented. Exactly like the photos.

We had a great stay at Katy and Joe's listing. Location was great as it was in the heart of everything and walkable to most of the places we went. The apartment itself is nice and contemporary in the inside and had great facilities. Only minor downside is there was a lack of hot water during our stay even when the booster was on. Other than that, we had a great time and would happily visit again, thanks.

it was a great location, decor was gorgeous. Beds were comfortable, staff were very helpful on arrival. I really didn’t appreciate the 10am checkout, considering we couldn’t check in until 3pm on the dot the day before it wasn’t very long. I have never stayed anywhere with an earlier checkout of 11/12. apart from that it was great

El departamento es hermoso, muy cómodo, la ubicación excelente . Pero no había nadie para recibirnos, tuvimos que ir a buscar las llaves a otro lugar, muy difícil la comunicación. El ascensor no funciona por lo cual tuvimos que subir 3/4 pisos con las valijas por las escaleras, no había agua caliente y nos comunicamos todo x mensaje para que después de dos horas saliera tibia . Las ventanas no cierran y abajo hay paradas de buses x lo cual no se puede dormir del bullicio. Una pena

This apartment has a great location, everything is within a 10 minute walking distance from the flat. The decor was lovely and the apartment was bright and open. All the bathrooms were spotless with fresh towels. The ceilings are a little low which is fine if you're family is 5ft 6 and below like mine is! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The apartment was lovely and spacious and very clean. Ideal for our family, much better than being squashed in one hotel room. Communication was excellent, as was the checkin process and instructions. Feedback was requested in order that any improvements can be made for future guests. If an early night is needed earplugs may be recommended until 10-11pm due to loud music from a local venue. It’s didn’t last too late though and it didn’t bother us.

The airbnb apartment was very modern, clean and location was ideal for shopping, bars and resteraunts.I would definitely book again.The only drawback was that there was about ten flights of stairs and the lift wasn't functional.This would make it impossible for old or disabled people to book.

Another great apartment from Host so simple i have stayed in probably more than a dozen of their apartments over the last 10 months whilst working in Liverpool and all have been very clean, well presented and very well equiped. Location wise this apartment is great for the nightlife areas of the city centre but being on the 2nd floor we found that the noise from the street below was minimal and it was warm while we were there and we had the windows open all night. There are a lot of stairs to the 2nd floor so probably not ideal if you have any mobility issues.

The only good thing I have to say about our stay in this flat is that communication with the team was excellent, both prior and during our stay. I decided to book this flat for its glowing reviews - it looked spacious, clean and with great location. Firstly, the flat is not “calm” at all, it is on a busy street and there is a club next to it, not to mention the numerous clubs around. We arrived during a heat wave to find the storage heater in the combined living room and kitchen area working. The heater continued heating the area for nearly 2 days, so we could not use the living room or kitchen, it was just too hot. The windows are connected to the frames and can open only about 15cm, but even if we could open them, the room is in the full sun most of the day. The flat was not clean enough, the floors were not vacuumed/mopped well and one of the toilets was not clean. The window latch of the front bedroom which overlooks the street was broken, so we could not close it. This meant excessive noise from the street and clubs, which made sleeping there impossible. What was even more disappointing was that a previous guest had left a comment about this in July which was ignored by the host (I wish I had seen it earlier, though the host’s cancellation policy would have meant a significant loss). There is also quite unpleasant water damage above the bed in the front bedroom. The back bedroom has no window that can open, so there is no way to air it. There are three fans provided in the flat. The description of the flat says it can sleep 8 but when we decided on the second night to see how noisy the living area is for sleeping, we discovered that one of the windows there also had a broken latch and couldn’t be closed, so the noise made that room impossible to sleep in as well. Overall, because of the heater and the noise due to broken window latches, we could only use the back bedroom for sleeping. This meant we could use about 1/4 of what we paid for and I do wonder how 8 people could use this flat for a comfortable stay. I complained to the host team who were very apologetic but didn’t/couldn’t do much during our 2-night stay to resolve the problems. In short, this was the worst experience with Airbnb I’ve had since I started using the platform over 8 years ago when travelling all over the world.

Window latches we’re broken which made the noise even louder in the front bedroom. Also, good idea to label the dish liquid pods and other pods because I couldn’t tell what was what :) maybe just a shelf with labels so it’s easy to read

Excellent location, clean and has everything needed

We had a wonderful time in Liverpool and Katy & Joe’s clean, comfortable, and well located unit played a huge part in that. Matthew Street is just a block away or so. Walking distance to terrific restaurants, shopping, and architecture. Thank you!!

Great location to visit Liverpool. The bus station Liverpool One and train station Liverpool Central are in a distance of a short walk so it is easy to travel to Chester and Manchester also worth visit. The contact with the host was perfect. The possibility to leave luggage before check in and after check out in the nearby office was very convenient. Thank you for your hospitality.

Stunning property and central to the Liverpool shopping centre. Only 5 minutes away walk to the Museum. I would definitely return here again in the future.
