The Cavern Quarter Loft

Had a brilliant stay here! A few complications with check in as the housekeeping were still in there. We waited a total of 2hrs to got in but we did get compensation and everyone at host and stay was very helpful! The apartment is a little difficult to find and once you get in it’s a bit of a maze! As long as you follow the signs you should be fine but be prepared for a lot of stairs! (Around 5-6 flights) The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed, only change I would make is to put some blinds on the skylights as I can imagine in the summer you’d get woken very early! Overall a really good stay and definitely value for money, highly recommend even with the few complications :)

The flat is lovely and the location is superb. The flat is modern but it would do with some TLC. We had a great stay here for the price we paid but there were a couple of niggles. The bedroom smelt of smoke which did air out over the afternoon and evening but when I mentioned this to the host it wasn’t acknowledged. The flat had everything we needed however it’s worth mentioning the upstairs en-suite is just a shower and sink, there’s no toilet like the listing says. Overall, the flat was great value for money and was nice but I think it could be even better with a little extra care and attention

the apartment is right next to the city centre so everything is in walking distance. the apartment itself only had the bare necessities and was not the tidiest. However it was very cozy and you have little to no noise from the vibrant city centre.

Very nice place easy locations too

Vi var väldigt nöjda med boendet, mycket bra läge. Trapporna var jobbiga men funkade. Trapphuset var dock lite skitigt. Trevlig lägenhet i största allmänhet. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse.

Horrible, broken down apartment in a dangerous area. Inaccessible, broken lift, disgusting stains and mold. DO NOT STAY HERE. Should be fraud

Beautiful apartment in a very central location however up a lot of stairs and the lift doesn’t work

Photos were accurate, however there were lots of stairs up to the loft and the elevator was broke so just be mindful of this, we had some issues with towels and bedding- only 7 towels were given for 8 guests and we were only given a sheet for the pull out bed and no covers for the duvet or pillows. We did text and they told us to check the wardrobes etc and then told us we would be given the extras needed but these were never delivered to the room so this was a bit frustrating. Collection of keys were from a shop 3/4 minute walk. Location was very good and everything was within a walking distance.

Great location in the centre of Liverpool, close to the shops and Matthew St. Some negative comments about the stairs but that’s clearly noted in the listing description so we got exactly what we paid for - a well presented apartment that comfortably fit our family of five. Would happily stay here again.

Had a great couple of days in Liverpool with friends. The location of this apartment was what made it.. Everything is a short walk or taxi ride away (especially Matthew Street, which had incredible night life) A video is sent to you on the day of arrival which shows you how to find the flat within the building, which is super handy as it's a bit of a labyrinth! Hopefully the lift will be working soon as there are a fair few stairs to climb but it's doable. The flat itself was just what we needed for a few nights. It would have been useful to have a second toilet but that didn't cause us too much bother. My only negative comment, which other reviewers have mentioned before, is the cleanliness of the flat. You can see someone had whizzed round with a hoover in the open spaces but it was easy to spot a good layer of dust along side the base of furniture, over light bulbs and elevated surfaces. It felt like the place could do with a deep clean/dust.. otherwise, spot on!

Place was great and convenient. Unfortunately the elevator was broke while we were there, so there were quite a few stairs to manage, but the place was beautiful and well worth it. Highly recommended.

Location is really good. Lovely to see the Liver building out of the windows upstairs and the apartment was a lovely lay out exactly as it looks on the pictures. Although kitchen utensils weren’t the cleanest when we arrived and it was boiling on a night as we went in summer.

Lovely apartment in a really central area. The flat was very hot when we got in and there were a couple of fans left but they didn't do much. only a few windows open so we didn't really cool down until the morning! the beds were comfy and clean, the bathroom shower head could have done with a clean and was pouring water out of the side. Another toilet would have been helpful rather than a second shower but we managed! Would recommend based on the location, just be aware that the lift is still broken so pack light!

Had such a a great experience with this Airbnb, such a central location. Very walkable to anywhere you would want to go to in Liverpool! Very clean and modern furnish, great feel to the place. Overall wouldn’t definitely recommend to a friend.

It was a great location and the accommodation was pretty, well thought out design for a small area. We arrived on time to collect the key, firstly the shop we was told to go to wasn't called muskers so it was confusing, then the key wasn't ready for check in and I was asked if we could wait, I advised we were pushed for time due to bookings that we had that evening and that we couldn't wait. The key was brought back but we was not told what apartment number we was or how to actually find the apartment. I had to rering as the address we were given took us to a street, not accommodation. Once we were there we finally got in and then noticed there was stairs. I asked the lady on the phoen what floor we was on and got lied to, was told we was on floor 1 but it was actually 10 flights later and we were there. We was not made wara in advance that the lift was not working and I have recently broken my back so the stairs and carrying luggage up and down was not suitable. With all of this missed information and waiting around we then missed out first booking!!!! Once we got into the accommodation it was not cleaned well, bins had been emptied and a brief wipe down but there was dust, piles of dirt, marks all over the walls and the fridge was dirty. Then the WiFi we was told to use was not correct infact was nothing of the sort so we had to find the router and get the WiFi information from that. Other than that, I would book again but for first time visiters the interformation provided was crap.

Beautiful apartment. Lots of stairs as listed but didn’t bother us. Very comfy beds, amazing view from the upstairs shower. Felt right at home!

Very nice apartment if you make it up all the flights of stairs to get there. Had no running water or flushable toilet for 24 hours and the response was that there was nothing they could do. We should not have been allowed to stay in those conditions and we should have been offered alternative accommodation.

We loved our stay at Sir Thomas Road! Super local and lots of things, pubs and restaurants in walking distance. A few crumbs were left in the kitchen from previous tenants otherwise a nice place to stay!

Great location. Apartment was nice and furnished well but it was not that clean when we arrived. It needed to be hoovered and to wipe over all the surfaces for dust and marks. There is no blinds in two of the skylight windows which made it very bright to wake up to. It states that there is a toilet in the upstairs bathroom, how ever there isn’t one, which left us with 1 bathroom for 8 people.

So central, very clean and ideal for a group

Location This apartment while centrally located was difficult to access. The keys were located approx. 19minutes away and had to be returned to same location which was unacceptable for visitors with no access to a car. This apartment was also not cleaned before our arrival and that is totally unacceptable. The bedding was changed but that was it. The floors were dirty and unswept, the counter tops stained and the bathroom uncleaned.

The property looked exactly as was published in the pictures online. The location of the property is fantastic. Very central but also very quiet while in the apartment. I would not advise for anyone with mobility issues as there were a lot of stairs and no working lift. We did have an issue with the wifi while there (we were given the wrong wifi password) but when we contacted Host and Stay they were very helpful and emailed me on a few occasions to ensure the issue had been resolved promptly.

Great location. Great apartment. Really great place to stay for a break in Liverpool. Only bother was the lift not working and having to climb about 100 flights of stairs!

This was a large spacious loft and was warm inside and beds comfortable There was no lift and the stairs were very high- was a treck to the flat once you were inside. There are sky lights with no window covering which means the light wakes you up in the morning.
