The Georgian Coach House 2

Arriving late on a Friday night after having spent all afternoon at the hospital, to find a broken bed was not a great start. Then the cleanliness of the place also wasn't great (dirty sofa, FILTHY window sils with about 15 flies, hairs on the tiles in the en suite) and little things like kitchen cabinets not fitting, broken pendant lamp... It all added up.<br/>On the face of it, the appartment looks great. However it is tired, needs a proper clean and the beds fixing.<br/>After getting in touch as soon as we checked in, we were told someone would come on the second day (while we were out at a wedding all day and night) to sort the bed and clean the areas we mentioned weren't. However, when we arrived back the at the ppartment in the early hours of Sunday morning, no one had been and the bed was still broken. My fiance is 34 weeks pregnant, so the bed issue was one we couldn't get past. <br/>Not good value for money, wouldn't recommend until they sort the issues out.

Great communication & the property was absolutely fine. It felt a bit smaller than in photos & alley way was a little bit grotty - but the property was NOZT GROTTY AT ALL. Bed in master bedroom was a bit uncomfortable, very soft mattress & wobbly bed head. Also , one handle missing g from the bedroom door. Nice to have bathroom products.

Needs a bit of TLC, very quiet, beds comfortable, really small communal area, but bedrooms lovely. Fresh and clean, fairly well equipped. Go to Blackburn arms for food, 5 minutes walk and good. Interesting area to explore

The house was lovely & had everything we needed to enjoy our stay ! The house was great for us as a family of five & we had plenty of room. The location was good & not too far from town. It was a quiet location & we managed to get a great night's sleep every night.<br/><br/>It was a bit cold in the evenings in the house.

The finish was stylish and modern. Good location, very quiet around.<br/><br/>The living space is way too small for 9 people. The dining table accommodates 6 and I think this would be the right number of guests for the property.

Super fijne, mooie plek. Dicht bij centrum in een mooie wijk van Liverpool. Huis is mooi ingericht!

First impressions of the property were good. The rooms were spacious as photos. It was in the Georgian quarter. Parking was a short walk away and as described. The location was great with a shop at the end of the road. It was around 15 minutes walk to the center. The Uber drivers where amazing <br/>The beds were comfy<br/>The people of Liverpool were very welcoming.<br/><br/>1. The booking system is annoying. We booked on booking.com then I have to rebook on the host page and pay a Security deposit charge. <br/>2. The faulty boiler (we did report a problem, which they did resolve the following day. However The first night was freezing, we also had limited heating the second night) for this reason we would NOT stay here again, and to be honest if they valve us as a customer they should have been given a reduction in the rate. <br/>3. The coldness of the property. Only one radiator works in the first floor bedroom. The rad' by the front door doesn't work. The temporary portable radiator do not work. <br/>4. The flys. <br/>5. The massive gap in the front door. <br/>6. Owners ration supplies. The heating is programmed to go off after one hour. Really not a good move for February ! They also rationed coffee pod (one each), dish washer tables (X2) left on a clean tea towel. Which marked the tea towel. <br/>7. The 10am check out! The text message reminded us that we had to be out of the property on the Sunday morning. When we had already left. This is unheard of in Liverpool. With no option for a later check out.

Loved the accommodation! Was just like the pictures. <br/>Hosts were fantastic with communication and always got back to us extremely quickly. <br/>Location is good for taxi journey to Liverpool. You could walk, but not in heels. <br/>The only downside of the property was the smell. From the moment we arrived there was a drain smell that would not go. <br/>Other than this a fab property and great value for money. Thank you ??

Lovely apartment. With everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable and the location was really quiet. Loved the fact that there were 2 baths!<br/><br/>Check in was delayed and we hadn’t been notified. However the cleaners were lovely and allowed us to leave our luggage while we headed into town.<br/>There was a problem with the heating but this was resolved promptly. <br/>The only thing I didn’t like was there were lots of flies in the apartment. Oh and the creaky stairs were a bit annoying!

Nice deco and great for our group to be together<br/><br/>Unfortunately there were lots of flies some dead on the window sill when we arrived and at times a very unpleasant odour.<br/>Could have had more and bigger towels

Lovely apartment, spacious and clean<br/><br/>The boiler needs a service. The radiators need bleeding, as they very noisy and heated up erratically

Classy and mostly well equipped but the downstairs bedroom set up that is clearly a feature was disappointing. The 'stable doors' didn't fully close or lock. The bath and shower had sketchily intermittent hot water. A bigger bed would have made me happy.

First class, immaculate lodgings and very good communication. Will defintely stay again when next in Liverpool, definetely recommend!

Size and decor of property<br/><br/>The dead blue bottles on the floor and kitchen work tops with some still flying about , also the upstairs shower that the 2 bedrooms share the shower screen isn’t fitted properly so the water pours out onto the floor , mentioned already in a few review back but thought this issue had been fixed

The location was good.<br/><br/>There was an infestation of flies which spoilt our stay. Also the cleanliness was not as we would expect.

Great place & location

Nice place. Well kitted out with modern utilities. Just needed to twist a thermostat dial to heat up the house or cool it down in the evenings. Espresso Coffee maker was great nice touch. No complaints, we'll back.<br/>Sorry, one issue was parking. We parked around the block on a quiet road. It did say something about resident parking only 8am - 6pm but so did every road in that area. I asked a neighbour, they said it would be fine at weekends. And there were loads of empty spaces everywhere. However, unbelievably some warden gave us a parking ticket on Sunday morning at 9.30am!!! On a bank holiday weekend n all. Madness. Anyway, we're Irish so we don't have to pay :-)<br/>But I do think Joe & Katy should work out a parking disc, seeing as they own a property there and as such entitled to free parking there. So the place itself is great. Just a couple of maintenance issues, with a loose shower fitting and toilet seat. Wi-Fi was very patchy too, and parking is tricky. Otherwise very clean and comfortable. Perfect for exploring Liverpool city Centre.

The apartment was fantastic. It was nice and clean, fantastic location and the apartment itself was well decorated and had everything you would need. <br/>Check in and check out was very easy and straightforward and the hosts were very helpful prior to our stay recommending parking, things to do, places to eat etc.

The location was excellent, 10 min walk from the centre, very quiet location.<br/>The cottage was very modern and what could you not like about it.<br/>Beds all clean and very comfortable <br/>Will definitely stay again<br/><br/>Nothing it was all excellent

Great location, lovely property. some tlc was needed, such as in the bathroom, taps, and waste broken. in downstairs bedroom the clothes rail came off the wall as soon as you hung one item on it, lose fixings. Door lock needs attention. shame, otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. Yes, I would go back if the need was there.

The cottage was perfect for a family of 5 sightseeing and shopping in Liverpool. We walked into the city and the docks area on both days and found our way around easily. Perfect!

Beautifully presented with lovely fixtures and fittings, spotlessly clean, well equipped.<br/><br/>Our only niggle was the lack of broadband and Wi-Fi which meant that we couldn’t watch the beautiful big smart TV in the evenings but that was all and communication with the hosts was good as they apologised for the temporary problem which they knew about and will be fixed. There really was nothing else not to like. Recommend.

cute looking nice furnishings<br/><br/>pillows were very uncomfortable. shower leaked. blinds downstairs were not very good the light came in too much so it was very light first thing in the morning! walls very thin you can hear conversations downstairs when in bed upstairs! I asked to checkout at 11am as that’s the usual time I checkout when i stay in Liverpool and they wanted £20 which I thought was quite harsh.

very stylish and clean<br/><br/>the shower screen had no seal so when we had a shower we needed to put towels on the floor as it got really wet. would recommend shower screen to be fixed and a bath mat.

the properly was very clean. exactly like the pictures. excellent location and the staff were very quick to answer any questions. the place was safe and easy to navigate heating etc.<br/><br/>the shower didn’t stay in the holder, but this is minor.

We spent a lovely few days at Katy and Joes and found it totally met our requirements as we're spending much of the time visiting family in Wallasey. Beds were lovely and comfortable. There is limited comfortable seating if spending any length of time in the accommodation - a good excuse for spending additional time in the comfortable beds. Also one of our party was working from home during the course of our stay and it would be helpful if there was a desk or table for this purpose in one of the bedrooms- the dining table and benches are not really suitable for this purpose. These issues did not affect the quality of our stay. A small welcome pack of essentials may also be a nice touch - we had gone equipped with our own and it would also be nice if the heating could be switched on prior to arrival particularly if wet or cold - would be more welcoming. <br/>We loved our stay - top class accommodation and we were very comfortable - any queries were responded too promptly. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay but the house was a little cold for us and the shower wasn’t very hot. Other than that we had a fantastic stay, great location, walking distance to everywhere, peaceful and quiet. We love Liverpool. You could see it was a new build so I’m sure the issues will be rectified. Thanks
