Lovely property. The entire place was decorated very nicely and was very clean. Beds were comfortable and spacious bathrooms per room. Location had lots of shops near by for supplies and easy access to city centre. A few more kitchen utensils (cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs ect) for large groups staying together would be helpful. Also some more cleaning supplies for guests to clean up while staying would also be helpful.

The home was beautiful as described in the photos, it would have been perfect if not for the mould. However the rooms had mould and the basement bathroom had plumbing issues and so we were unable to stay. Staff were extremely helpful if getting us an alternative home. The home was dusty and carpet would have benefited from a clean. Overall the home was beautiful but not sure I would book again due to mould and poor hygiene.

We arrived around 4.30pm Friday afternoon, was easy to find, lock box was easy to get into but unfortunately we couldn’t find the electric box straight away! Looking around in the dark .. no welcome pack or any instructions on how to find where to turn it on ..eventually we found the electric box outside the property! Bedrooms and en-suites were clean and very comfortable! Lamp was broken in one room Some small damp issues but didn’t effect us heating went on took a while for the house to warm all the way through but again it was all lovely once it warmed through. The fridge and all cups and glasses needed cleaning before use. 12 of us staying in the house so not enough glasses for everyone to make use of! But that was all really, everything else was lovely. We got a uber into city centre Saturday took around 15-20 mins! We had a brilliant weekend and would definitely return. Would defo recommend some information left by the fire alarm pad on Info on electric and heating use.

The house was ideal for what we wanted during our stay. Plenty of space, the rooms were comfortable and amenities good. After a day out we came home to no electric on the meter so were sat in darkness until this was rectified. This took approximately 90minutes. Cleanliness was mostly ok but could be a bit better as rooms needed hovering and shower plug holes full. Ubers were quick so access to the city was really easy. Overall we had a good stay and would happily return.

Our review is extremely mixed as certain aspects were faultless but other aspects were extremely disappointing. 4 of the 6 bedrooms were perfect/ pristine clean beds & clean bathrooms. However one had no towels, damp spot staining all over the pillow & the bathroom smelt of urine. The basement room bed had dark black hairs made into the bed, the towels felt damp despite Being folded & there was human faeces on the bathroom tiles. The kitchen& lounge were very clean but the stairs had crumbs & food on them. After seeing previous reviews about lack of plates I messaged before we arrived & they left a brand new box of dinner plates which was really good but then we found we had 6 forks for our 12 guests. It’s a shame as the property is good looking, well lit, well decorated & nice sofas etc but it clearly needs a deep clean as there is dust in a lot of places, glitter from previous party’s all over rugs & marks all over doors etc. We complained & they cleaned one bedroom again

The group found the place very comfortable and spacious and perfect for their requirements for a busy weekend of meetings and travelling around Liverpool. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at The Kensington Townhouse for my Sister's surprise birthday weekend with 12 of us in total. Everything was exactly as pictured, lovely clean rooms with comfy beds and all rooms with nice en-suite bathrooms. Couldn't fault the place and it was the perfect location for all of our plans in Liverpool. Parking was free on the street the house is on. I literally was able to park right outside with no problems after speaking with a friendly neighbour who confirmed it was free! This, you guys should advertise! All in all I thought it was amazing value for money and would certainly stay there again if the occasion arose! Thanks again for your timely and helpful responses. Would recommend

When we arrived the house did not feel clean, the cleaning cupboard fell open and was cluttered. The house holds 12 but only 5 dinner plates and forks!!!! Horrible little flies all over the lounge and kitchen, when messaged host they ignored the issue and simply offered an extra night at a slightly lower price. The bins outside the house were over flowing and unsightly and the neighbourhood was not as described on the listing. We would not come back here and we would not recommend this house. No curtains on the windows leaving you feeling a little exposed in the downstairs front bedroom and the smell of damp was pungent, we had to throw food away due to the flies in the kitchen and lounge and all 6 of us had bites from the flies within hours of being there. Thankfully we had a great trip into the centre that made the time away better.

Great place to stay for a group, everyone has their own bathroom and TV in their room and there’s an adequate kitchen and dining area

We were left with no electric as the owners did not top up the meter meaning the property was not fit for use.

The house was clean and spacious. When we arrived (1 hour after check in) their was no electricity for 2 hours. The hosts could have been more informative about how long it would take to come back on however they did help to get it sorted. We stayed with 4 other couples each one had thier own toilet, shower and space to get ready. Liverpool center is a 10 minute taxi ride away which made it easy to get back and forth.

Nice place

The Kensington house was nice. We were 5 adults and 7 kids. The kids settled very quickly. Apart from an issue with getting the electricity running after we checked in and having to wait for maintenance to come round and fix it, everything went ok. The maintenance man was very responsive and proactive and so helpful to us. All in all, we had a nice stay and a nice time.

I raised an issue and am still waiting for a outcome from the investigation over two months ago.

Lovely stay at this house, all bedrooms are really nice with en suites in every room, all with a modern decor. Kitchen is well equipped (all though the guide needs more of an explanation for the child lock on the digital hob). The host had really good communication, would recommend this Airbnb!

The number of rooms with en-suite - modern decor. Lovely fluffy towels. Sighting of a rat two days - in the courtyard trying to get into the kitchen. Courtyard scruffy with tall weeds Bins full in the front Hoover smelt terrible and held together by cello tape Some mattresses and pillows had evidence of old staining Some cooking utensils had evidence of old staining (eg metal rack on grill tray and baking trays)

Thank you for hosting us! B Slightly disappointed with the piles of rubbish bags in the front and rear garden and the sticky floors that turned our white socks black. We would like to suggest black out blinds/ curtains in the bedrooms as it’s very bright from 5am and more plates (6 plates for 12 of us). Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had no heating and was told a technician would be out the following day. I had no communication whether he had been or not. So there was still a fault. Oven was dirty and smelt. Back yard was full of the previous guest’s cigarette butts and rubbish. All these were reported. No response. On a positive note the house was decorated lovely and clean. But lacked the communication that I needed from them to put my issues right especially not having any heating all weekend.

The host was very friendly polite and responsive to issues brought up. The neighbourhood Is in a not so nice area. No parking available. When you get inside the lounge and kitchen area look good and spacious. Bedrooms are good. Very comfortable beds. Good amenities in each room. Although bathrooms could do with refurbishing and cleaning.

Went for a friends 40th, at most there were 9 of us occupying the property. 6 double bedrooms all with own ensuite which was great. The house was lovely, as shown in the advertisement. Great spot for exploring Liverpool. Host very responsive and helpful. We all hope to return again in the future. Thank you!

No, heating for 3 nights!! ? the oven did not work at all. Rubbish left behind from the previous tenants!!

Every room is wonderful decorated and has an equally beautiful en-suite. The property was freezing cold. The thermostat wasn’t working as the batteries were dead. We also had to restart the boiler to get the heating on. For such a nice place, the garden area was a bit of a let down. It doesn’t reflect the well decorated house.

La casa está muy bien equipada, con todo lo necesario. Muy bonita la decoración y todo estaba impecable en cuanto el aseo. Maravilloso que cada habitación tenga su baño privado. El host siempre estuvo atento a responder mis preguntas.

The property was brilliant and could not fault what we walked into on Saturday evening. There were 2 occasions where 2 other parties seemed to have booked a Room 4 only - even tho we had booked the whole Townhouse for the 3 day stay. The 1st party left on Saturday but on Monday , the 2nd party actually broke into the property via a back upstairs window and refused to leave. We rang Booking.Com , Host & Stay and eventually the Merseyside police to resolve the issue. - MP said it was a civil matter and to discuss with Booking.Com - Booking.Com told us to contact Host & Stay - H&S , after 6hrs , still no member of staff arrived at the property. We were told by Eva that Daniel (Night Manager) could not ring me and was unable to send someone to help - this lasted over 5/6hrs. We checked out this AM and we are still awaiting an update from H&S staff (Josh - Coordinator). The most concerning thing is , liability for the property is still on my CC and when we left this AM , the trespassers were still in the property so anything could happen.
