Great townhouse that did recommend for large groups including extended families

What an absolute gem of a find ! The house was absolutely spotless, all bedrooms including 3 en-suite rooms, were beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and a huge lounge area with dining table. Plenty of room for everyone without feeling hemmed in like other places. Everything was perfect for our get together, you could not ask for more and all within walking distance of the city centre. Absolutely superb ! On top of that the hosts were incredibly accommodating with great communication all the way. If you are ever lucky enough to stay here, I can guarantee you'd want to go back time and time again. Excellent !!!

Very good location, comfy beds and nice kitchen. Although it has 4 bathrooms, 3 of them are en-suite, which makes it awkward for sharing.

We liked how all of the rooms were a good size and well kept.

The location of the property was great and the rooms were a good size. The 3 ground floor rooms had an overwhelming smell of damp which had an adverse effect on those with asthma and we could see where the rising damp had been painted over. The wallpaper was peeling off some of the upstairs bedrooms due to damp. The house wasn't particularly clean and it wasn't to the high standard projected in the photos. Most of the shower trays overflowed. The fridge smelt really bad and there werent enough cups for everyone.

Large house perfect for a group of of girls, but beds spread out among lots of rooms to give a gd but of privacy aswell Most of the bathrooms were on the ground floor and there were a lot of steps, not grt for anyone with mobility issues

We had a great stay with Host and Stay. There were just a few things I would double check for next time before check in. The cleaners were 40 minutes late finishing cleaning, but that’s completely understandable with this time of the year and so many properties that need to be clean. But maybe it was a bit rushed as they know they were running late… There were no bin bags in any of the bins in the house and two showers hadn’t been properly cleaned. There were water still there and black bits at the bottom of the shower. We also couldn’t find the wifi router. Maybe this needs to be written on the wall in the kitchen somewhere? ( i had to phone Air BnB to ask for it). Other than those little tweaks, the place was beautiful and the location was great. We have a big family and there was enough space for everyone there. A great place to stay especially if you have little children (plenty of place for them to run around and play). Thank you for the lovely stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Great location! The WiFi did not work when we arrived, which we were not notified of before arriving. This is a huge problem if you are working remotely. The bathroom shower did not drain in the shower that was accessible to 3 bedrooms. The place was dirty when we arrived with food all over living room and kitchen furniture.

GREAT LOCATION. PLENTY OF SPACE. NOTHING MUCH TO REPORT. ONLY SUGGESTION IS TO POST WIFI INFORATION ON THE SHEET ON THE DOOR RATHER THAN TELL US WHERE TO LOOK FOR IT. WE COULDN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE AND HAD TO CONTACT THE HOST. THEY PROMPTLY REPLIED AND IT WAS FINE

Fin leilighet og bra beliggenhet. Vi reiste flere familier med barn. Upraktisk med hvordan badene var lokalisert. To bad i første etasje var inne på soverommene. Det tredje badet var i andre etasje og hørte til et soverom. Så de fra 3 soverom i tredje etasje måtte gå ned og inn på andres soverom for å benytte bad. På bildet var det bilde av bordtennis som ikke var der. Ellers fin beliggenhet med gangavstand til sentrum. Lite støy. Rent og pent.

A group of 12 of us stayed to celebrate a friends hen. The space was perfect, plenty room for us all to interact in the living areas. The bedrooms are big and spacious. Everything was within walking distance of the house. Would definitely recommend to any large groups looking for somewhere to stay in Liverpool.

A great place to stay. Directly next to a 24 hour carpark at the Cathedral. Lovely house with plenty room for all guests. Everyone commented on how well they slept and the beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Leading up to our stay the communication was great. The townhouse was very well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. The beds are comfy and all rooms cleaned to a high standard. Location great everything only a short walk away.

A fantastic place for a large group

I enjoyed my stay, If I am to go back to Liverpool with/in a large group, I would go back to the property. I would recommend it too without hesitation.

Lovely house, clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend with friends l. We would definitely go back as suited us and had easy access to the city centre The hallways could do with a tidy up as they were our first impression and did not do the rest of the house justice

No one to meet us . The code that was given to us was incorrect . It took about 20 minutes in the rain and wind to work it out . Very poor , nobody contacted us throughout the duration of our stay to check if we were satisfied . I spoke to the manager of host and stay about the lack of Christmas decoration , and she promised she would phone on the day of our arrival - she did not - very poor customer service . Where to begin ! The property was damp, dirty and poorly furnished for a family of 10, never mind a party of 20 which it was described as being able accommodate. It was more like upgraded student accommodation, decorated for hen/ stag weekends. The stairs were dirty, walls marked and there was even chewing gum stuck on the wall ! There was not enough comfortable seating for six people , never mind 20. The fire didn’t work. Within the kitchen, the oven was tiny so we struggled to cook Christmas lunch for ten. The photo of the oven online had clearly been stretched to make it appear much larger than it was. This is blatant misrepresentation which should entitle us to a partial refund as we did not get what we paid for. There was very little in the way of kitchen implements, baking trays etc so the accommodation was not set up for a family to cook. Very little in the way of basics were left - no washing up liquid, no cleaning products , one bin bag etc etc . The top bedrooms were riddled with damp (see photos) the windows had gaps so the rooms were freezing and draughty. My children couldn’t sleep and had to move rooms. The bathrooms had obviously been replaced but one smelt of sewage and the top bathroom shower didn’t drain. The garden was not Maintained . I suggest that this place requires much improvement before it is marketed for anybody other than hen / stag weekends . It is most definitely not suitable for families as it doesn’t meet the basic minimum requirements . It was extremely poor . Plus , despite my request , no Christmas decorations were supplied . I have stayed at numerous holiday homes over Christmas and this is the first that has provided nothing . I don’t think it was too much to ask for a small Christmas tree , never mind a welcome pack . Everything about it was poor and disappointing and most definitely NOT worth the money we paid.

We had a great stay at the townhouse. Beautifully decorated and perfect for bigger groups/families. Rooms were big and clean, however, 2 of the en suites had a sewage smell coming out the bathrooms and sink drains were blocking up, maintenance did come round however this seems like an ongoing issue reading other reviews. Just to beware, there are 3 en suites on the ground floor and then between the rest of the bedrooms/living space on the 2nd and 3rd floor there is only 1 bathroom. The hosts were very quick at responding and it was really easy to check in. The location was also great. Overall everyone had a great time and it was lovely staycation weekend in Liverpool. Thank you!

Location and space. Great family home and we all had a really great time as a family Beds, bedding and towels all very good - really comfortable stay . Great communication from the hosts and if you have a family event would recommend. Thank you The ground floor bedroom and en-suite to the front has a terrible smell. Damp and likely a drain issue as sink and shower took too long to drain. I did call about it and was told someone would visit but it never happened. Also on cleanliness, it’s a massive house to clean so understand the challenge - check the bin, when we took out the liner the actual bin was horrible at the bottom. We also had to rewash glasses and some plates. No biggy really but thought best to mention. .

Amazing place , highly Recommend for big groups :)

We had such a lovely weekend staying here. It’s in the perfect location and has everything you need. All the rooms are really spacious and layout is great. The hosts were great and kept communication constant throughout the booking. Thank you so much we all had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend to any hen parties! The only slight downside we found was that for the first day there was a strong smell of drains coming from downstairs so we all stayed on the first floor and above but this seemed to disappear on our last day.

Excellent location. The house was perfect for what we needed. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were. Great exercise for those on the third floor ? Would have benefited from having a key to double lock the front door purely for security reasons.

The property was spacious for all 16 us. Clean. I left my charger and I got it back staff were very helpful That there is only one tv throughout the property. There was several leaks when it rained and was told maintenance would come and no one came, the upstairs shower was blocked

Fantastic huge WHOLE house to ourselves and we had A LOT of family members. 8 big rooms with 4 bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable with huge living space The 4th bathroom upstairs shower box - water draining was a bit slow but no biggie. Perhaps the drainage needs to be cleaned or flushed

Great location and communication from Charlie, always there to help with quick responses! The accommodation was a good size and really clean and every bedroom was really spacious.

We stayed at 71 Rodney st over the august bank holiday. The location is really great and the size was perfect for our family gathering. I had asked for the cot to be available for my 11 month old daughter and paid for early check in so she could have her lunchtime nap however upon arrival the cot was missing and it took them nearly an hour to get another cot to me. The cot arrived dirty. The house sadly had not been cleaned properly and we found fake eyelashes and nails in some of the rooms, there were also a pair of pants that the previous guests had left behind! The roof was leaking as it had been raining and there was a smell of damp (and visible damp) in some of the bedrooms. Cooking wise there are limited pots/pans especially for a large group which the house is designed for. The communication from the hosts were quick which was a positive. If the damp and cleanliness is resolved we would stay again but until it is I cannot recommend staying here as a family with small kids.

Honestly couldn’t say a bad word. There was 17 of us for a hen party and it was perfect. Everyone had a room with their own bathroom and for a group of 17 girls that’s exactly what we needed. Location was perfect, communication between the hoist was amazing and very attentive. Will 100% be back and fully recommend.

This was a really great house, perfect for large groups. There is a electronic keypad for access so you don’t need to worry about sharing keys. Very quiet location and comfortable beds so had no trouble sleeping. The location was really good too. We were able to get a later checkout as well for a small fee which was good. We would stay here again for sure.

Great facilities, really spacious and easy to access and find. Majority of bathrooms were en suites on the first floor, would have been best to have had a better spread. Location is a bit outside the centre when going back at night.

Great place to stay and great value

Had a good stay but a few things to note: - There is an indoor security camera downstairs, even though the description said there were no security cameras. - All the windows had screws fixing them closed. - 4 bedrooms (6 Beds) all share one bathroom. - Quite a bit of damage to the property which isn't great when you pay £500 deposit off AirBnB. + Great location. + Quite nice shared spaces.

We had a fantastic weekend at Rodney Street. What a beautiful place! So much space and beautifully decorated throughout. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Safe area. We used the Cathedral Car Park which costs £14.50/24 hours. 3 minute walk. Hosts been very responsive throughout with any questions I had. Damage deposit returned within 72 hours of checking out. Overview: 3 En-suite double bedrooms on ground floor Kitchen/Living area on the first floor 2 double bedrooms and one bathroom on the first floor 1 double and 2 'twin' (2 x double beds) rooms on the top floor My only recommendation would be if you could create another bathroom/toilet. There are 3 en-suites but the other 5 bedrooms (potentially 14 people) all have to share one bathroom which is not ideal. Also it has an outdoor patio area which is unkept and no outdoor furniture- such a shame when the weather is beautiful that we couldn't sit outside. We shall be booking again! A great place to stay. Lots of positives as highlighted in other reviews. But a couple of things which left us feeling short changed included the noises at night! The birds/seagulls were very loud and woke us up at 3am onwards. It was crazy! The house needs double glazing or something to prevent that level of noise. Finally, and more disappointing, was the smell coming from the ensuites in the three bedrooms downstairs. There is a sewage smell coming from the down stairs bedroom ensuites which is very unpleasant and makes it difficult to use. Even the bedrooms have that smell lingering! This problem needs to be urgently addressed before renting to other customers. I would strongly recommend that Katy, Joe and Team, investigate this as a high priority. That smelt made for an unpleasant stay for three of our friends this weekend. They had travelled from Canada and Australia for a family reunion and to watch a Liverpool football match. Sadly, this sewage smell spoilt our stay.

The pictures do not do this property justice as it’s hard to get an understanding of the floor plan. There are 3 rooms downstairs with Two en-suites. second level one double with the main shared facilities. huge kitchen/ living room then upstairs another two twin rooms. it’s so easy with a main door access and it so centrally located. A taxi back from the Docks was under a tenner. Plenty linen, towels and glasses. It is a faff with the pre checks etc- having to deal with a third party above and beyond booking.com isn’t the norm and sending driving licenses etc is time consuming. The actual property did cancel out the hassle.

We loved how spacious, clean and central the house was. The kitchen had great facilities and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was fantastic. Check in was very accessible as well. The hot water ran out but once we re set the boiler it was okay.

great location. clean, lovely decoration. the rug in the lounge could do with replacing or sticking down as rolling up at the corners. could be a trip hazard.

Really nice stay. Great location, quite central but quiet. Lovely house, ideal for a group of people celebrating 70th birthday. Everyone was very satisfied with the experience. Can't fault the house at all. One small thing which might improve it slightly is if one or two rooms had twin beds but definitely worth staying there regardless of that. I think the £500 deposit should be transparent throughout the time of booking and not after you've made the booking. Felt a bit unfair to not let people factor that in when making the decision to book the place as some people don't have £500 to spare for a few weeks.

Loved our stay. Massive house, perfect for our big group and close to all amenities in Liverpool city centre. Would absolutely stay again.

Brilliant place to stay!

Stunning accommodation in a great location! Perfect for our weekend away and spacious enough to meet everyone’s needs.

Place itself was perfect for us. Nice rooms, well kept, and really appreciated the common-areas. The sofas were uncomfortable but that's nitpicking! Location is also good, with bars/restaurants nearby, and a short walk into town. However, they required us to pay a £500 deposit to 'SUPERHOG'. Superhog also took a £10 "transaction fee". Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since we checked out (the deadline for me to leave a review) and this deposit has not yet been returned. I've messaged the team - they have not reported any problems and just said that Superhog 'usually' return the deposit within 2 weeks. I'm currently expecting the money to be returned (hence 2* rather than 1*), but £500 is a large amount of money for them to hold onto - especially for so long after we've left the property. Plus, I still don't know for sure that I won't have to fight for the money to come back. I didn't like having to leave a deposit with a 3rd party that I have no way of validating, exactly in case of these sorts of issues, and I probably wouldn't do so again despite being happy with the venue itself.

This is absolutely a great apartment to stay in with a large group of people. It is spacious,, comfortable and very clean. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect

A beautiful property in a lovely old part of Liverpool. Very comfy rooms. Perfect for a large group - I travelled with work for Conference and it was ideal. Think also great for wedding parties. The communication with the hosts was not always the easiest - think they confused my booking with another from their portfolio on occasion. There was a small issue with the plumbing in one of the bathrooms and they weren’t able to book a plumber in time to fix.

We couldn’t recommend Katy, Joe & Team and the property enough - it was clean, had everything we needed and then some. It was the perfect place to get ready and celebrate our wedding weekend. A beautiful property in the best setting!

Great property in a fantastic location. Clean and well looked after. Recommended. Please note that the kitchen has basic utensils and cookware though and is not very well setup for cooking at home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is nothing short of Grand! It is on one of the historic streets of Liverpool, very close to the centre, easy access to restaurants, bars, clubs the philharmonic and a nice stroll from the docks. We were a large family group (11) spanning many decades in age and we all enjoyed the house very much - including a very relaxing living room and big, well equipped kitchen. In short it was Ace.

We really enjoyed our time in Liverpool at 71 Rodney Street. It's a fabulous property in a wonderful location in the amazing Georgian Quarter. It's close to the city centre and we enjoyed some great days shopping, eating and drinking. Number 71 is just around the corner from legendary Liverpool pubs like the Pilgrim, the Philharmonic, the Cracke, and Peter Kavanagh's. The team are very responsive and got back to us very quickly when we had questions.

Great property! Eight of us stayed here on a work trip. It was much better than staying in a hotel because we could relax and spend quality time together. Rooms are all a great size with comfy beds. The three rooms on the ground floor are all en suite. Unfortunately there was only one bathroom for the other 5 rooms which made the mornings quite congested. Great living room space and kitchen. Few bits in the kitchen would have improved things - no cloths or washing up liquid. A cafetière for morning coffee would also have been a welcome addition. All in all, a great stay.

Beautiful apartment, spacious and nearby the hotels and restaurants. Quick responds via the email and very helpful and serviceminded. All in all we had a great time! Thank you for making our stay in Liverpool so pleasant!

Nice place, shame about the hosts

a beautiful city centre house, stunning decor and extremely clean!

Despite of a big issue during the first night without electricity and water, the rest of the stay was fabulous with a group of friends.

The apartment is stunning. It had everything we needed and was in a really good location. It is around a 15-20 minute stroll to cavern club and a 10 minute walk to lime Street Station. The decor is lovely and made it feel home from home. It was very well equipped and spacious. We all had a go at playing table tennis. 3 of the bedrooms are downstairs and had an ensuite. Other bedrooms didn't but there is another bathroom located upstairs and everyone made use of the ensuite when needed so no stress over everyone needing to wait for the shower. Charlie was very helpful and on call to answer any questions. The cleaners had left some rubbish in the hallway from previous guests. I informed Charlie and she arranged for this to be collected straight away. We all had such an amazing stay and so glad to have found this gem! We would come back in a heart beat! .There is nothing we didn't like, however, no one bought hair dryers as we had assumed there would be some at the property. We couldn't find any and therefore thought there were none available. We were later told they are provided so may help if there is an inventory of where to find these. Also instructions on how to use certain items (working out functions on dishwasher confused me)
