Clean, nice touch with the extra soap, toilet rolls etc. good location! Broken door lock on arrival that needs to be replaced, creaky floorboards make it very noisy, needs darker blinds especially as bright street light outside!

Arrived at the flat at the late check in time of 4pm on Friday to find no heating on in the flat (this had not been on for some time, the place was freezing!) Adjusted the temp, but after looking at the boiler could see there was a fault. Rang Host and Stay and got through to a call centre which was obviously not in this country and tried to explain the problem. Sent a photo as requested and did not hear a thing until Saturday evening when someone requested another photo. Feel a bit aggrieved at paying nearly £300 to sit in a flat fully clothed with a quilt wrapped round me! Quick to take £25 for insurance but useless at putting basic things right. The flat itself is quite nice but not what I would call dog friendly. The kitchen is strange.....nice cupboards but no drawer for cutlery. Had to get on my hands and knees to get a fork!! No more Host and Stay for me

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway - Local to everything you don't need your car until you leave. Property was as described, beds were comfy and bathroom/kitchen clean and perfect for a family with children. As regular to Saltburn we hope to be back at Huncliffe soon.

There were no keys on arrival. When I rang we were told to ring booking.com and find somewhere else to stay because they didn't know where the keys were! We were eventually let in by other guests who took pith on us....we had travelled from Ireland on a ferry that day! I was promised a refund of 10 per cent....it's now September 23rd, the start if the holiday was 7th August! Not getting a key. But what really put the nail in tyf coffin was nobody came to hflo in thd morning either....I had to hunt down anyone who worked for host and stay to try and get a key!

I’ll start with my biggest gripe on this AirBnB, and something I’m really quite angry about, is being charged £25 extra over and above what we have paid through AirBnB, surely that shouldn’t be allowed? The timing of it was as customer unfriendly as you could imagine, booked 22nd March, paid what we thought was our final payment 29th August, and on 5th September we were told ‘So that we can send all your check-in details to you ahead of your stay, this is a friendly reminder that you need to fill out our check-in form and arrange for your damage waiver or a damage deposit prior to arrival’. In other words you cannot now get a full refund, but you have to pay extra to be allowed to use the apartment! Very underhand and not acceptable, how can AirBnB allow this? The main benefit is the location, which is great. The apartment itself doesn’t have a smart TV, or a washing machine, very little storage space for clothes, the shower is very good, but overall could be better equipped.

Everything Nothing it was great

This is the second time that we've stayed here. It's great for being in the centre of Saltburn with easy access to both the beach and the town. The apartment is a decent size and has everything that you need here. The first time we visited we were the 3rd guest to use the place, 4 years on and it's still immaculate. There was always a place to park our car on the street and the area is very peaceful. The Spa Hotel does an amazing breakfast, No23 fabulous pizzas and the Gun Bar some brilliant ales. There's so many more places to eat and drink. Oh and there's a Sainsburys right at the top of the Road. You really don't need a car at all. Lovely beach and the whole place just has a nice vibe about it, chilled and not too busy.

Location and cleanliness. Advertised in Booking.com as having a fully refundable damage deposit, the deposit increased once we booked and a £10 admin fee was taken from it before returning two weeks later. The front door lock didn't work, meaning it can just be pushed open, we left messages on their ansafone and via Booking.com but got no response meaning we had the first night with the property unsecured. Eventually we did get to speak to a member of staff who tried to say it was the way we were operating the Yale lock, despite us sending a video of the door not locking. Eventually someone came to repair it but it still doesn't lock properly. Avoid Host & Stay, very poor!

Location was great No ckeck-in instructions, called the number provided while standing on the road with kids including 2 years old after traveling about 80 miles. The lady I spoke to was very unprofessioonal and I would say rude . She mocked me of not having to read the check -in instructions wich were sent to me. However, I have not received any instructions from the host. she talked to me in very demeaning manner and asked me to pay £30 online before I can give you the key code. I felt helpess stading on the road with all the luggage, It took me about 25 minutes to complete the process. The positive thing is the weather was good. After managed to get the keys and enter the property. kids were excited to connect to Wifi, which was another issue. had to call back to get the the details, I was advised speak to the neighbours to get the the password at around 8pm.

Great location. Well decorated. Great shower, comfy bed and pillows. Well equipped kitchen. The same gripes that come up in the comments again and again, but don’t seem to get addressed but here goes…again! Thin ‘entry level’ roller blinds. Be prepared to be woken between 4-5am in summer. Rooms are very hot as a result. No storage in bedrooms. Your smalls have to stay in a pile in the corner of the room. Why a set of drawers can’t be provided is beyond me. It’s been mentioned since 2021 lol. Very weak, almost pointless wi fi. Front door will not shut without rocking the building to its core! Hidden fees that are never mentioned prior to booking. Never encountered this ever before with other accommodation companies. Sofa firm and uncomfortable.

Clean, well-equipped apartment in a great location. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Bright and spacious. Bed and sofa not comfortable. It was very bright in the bedroom as the blinds were not great. WiFi not good.

The property was quiet and peaceful, it had all the necessities. It is in a good location to reach both the shops and the beach. Good communication with the property hosts. Following the booking I received an email re payment for damages, this isn’t altogether clear in the description. A one off payment of £30 or a £300 deposit which is retained for 14 days and a £10 admin charge is deducted. This needs to be more transparent prior to the booking.

It was a great place to stay. Location brilliant. Very clean well cared for apartment. Everything there you could need.

Location and facilities were excellent ? Only one slight negative, the main front door kept being left unlocked by the downstairs residents. The door to the apartment was difficult to lock, you need to really push or pull the door to get the latch to click, slightly insecure if your not careful.

Would come again. Felt at home and relaxed very quickly. Lovely airy apartment.

Great first floor flat in a perfect location, near both the high street and the beach. Cosy, warm and with a logburner.

The location was excellent. Also the facilities matched the description on Booking.com. I did like the contact and the links provided by Host & Stay regarding the property, also they responded very promptly to the questions I had before and during the stay. I was not pleased to be charged an extra £10 on my damage deposit. It stated that it was £250 which would be fully refunded, however it does not state that they also charge a £10 admin fee for holding my money! I questioned this but was told that was what it was! You do not find this out until you have booked, and cannot back out! But overall for the price it is good!

The apartment is extremely near the sea and all the shops, cafes and centre of Saltburn. It's a lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, toilet, showeroom and living room. It was really clean and comfortable and had really nice decor and furnishings. It was nice and cosy. We had our labrador too and she loved it. Saltburn is her favourite place and being near the sea was lovely for her. The host company were really helpful and communicative and sorted out our fire alarm, as it started beeping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Nothing!

Great place !!! Just needs a few jobs doing … little things like kick plates in kitchen and loose tiles .. Make it perfect ?

Decor was nice. Beds were comfortable Cutlery in a cardboard box, tiling unfinished. Nothing to stand your toiletries on in bathroom. No hook to hang clothes in shower room. If this Was addressed I would give a 10!

Das ist unsere Meinung und muss nicht das Meinungsbild anderer wiedergeben +Lage +Dusche +parken auf der Straße vor der Tür -Betten -viele Stufen innerhalb der Wohnung( auch auf der Wohnebene( sollte im Angebot stehen, Fotos sind trügerisch) -zersprungener Fliesenboden im WC -lieblose Ausstattung , insbesondere der Küche -Besteck imPappkarton, -Kühlschrank -durchgesessenes Sofa -Kinderzimmer ohne Schrank oder Ablage, stattdessen steht dort ein Staubsauger -Kein richtiger Spiegel im Bad, rostige alte Ablage -Schlafzimmer nur mit Kleiderstange -WLAN Gerät im Schlafzimmer flackert die ganze Nacht hell grün!!!

Convenient yet quiet location Host and go send loads of emails and they demand either a hefty damage deposit or an extra £25 insurance waiver. Parking is on the street without permits. Very difficult at busy times.

Very central only 5 mins walk from the front or shops. There wasn't enough clothes space wardrobe etc. No draws in the kitchen. Cutlery was in box.

Really nicely decorated. Good location with parking. Hidden charges when using for security deposit/waiver. Not advertised or communicated until after making a nonrefundable booking. Split level apartment, constantly going up and down stairs to access other rooms. Toilet room is tiny, you can hardly move in it.

Location was great, flat was clean and welcoming. Daily emails etc from host and stay, also not beibg informed of the extra payment for damages etc, till after we had booked, (a bit cheeky). Someone kept trying to get into our key box.

The beds were really comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. The shower was a perfect size. Great location and plenty to do. There were no draws for clothes in the child's room and only four hangers in the master bedroom. A bigger mirror in the wet room would have been better.

Heating system good. Kitchen well equipped. Housekeeping were on the ball when we had an issue I didn't like the additional fee of paying Host & Stay insurance when my booking was with Booking.com That is who I had the contract with. Never had this before. Think it's a new trend to extract more monies and I suppose it is in the small print but its not obvious until booking confirmed. Even if paid deposit of £250 rather than insurance...they charged £10 admin fee to get it back. That's never right!!

Super Lage, zentral aber ruhig gelegen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 2 Minuten entfernt Strand, Promenade 2 Minuten entfernt Wohnung sehr gut und modern ausgestattet Sauberkeit war okay Zimmeraufteilung sehr gut Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche ausgestattet (Dusche ging während des Aufenthaltes leider nicht, war aber durch die Badewanne kein Problem)

When we entered the property, we found a pool of water on the kitchen floor which we had to mop up and clean. When we went into the bathroom, as soon as we stepped on the bathroom tiles, putty was oozing out on all sides and this continued for our whole stay. It was very off-putting that whenever you went to the bathroom or took a bath, you came out with your feet covered in white sticky putty

Despite being the upstairs half of a residential terraced house, it was actually quite spacious with a well equipped kitchen and front living room. We were warned a week before arrival that the wet room shower was out of action- and looking at the feedback book at the property, had been for a while. Despite communicating with a different person every day from the company they failed to offer any resolution or compensation for this. The result was a sticky residue mess on the bathroom tiles whenever you used the bath or sink as an alternative. The cleaning was not great with dust and finger marks spotted in numerous areas , dirty cups and a distinct lack of decent sized mirrors. This property could be great with some investment and care from the property owners and a bit more attention to customer feedback and acting on it.

Great place for exploring the town and coast. Comfortable apartment. Unfortunately we had difficulty with a blocked shower and a broken bath - but otherwise good.

It was in a great location. Very nicely decorated and well equipped. The customer service agents are also very helpful should you have any queries. We all had a lovely stay - including our dog! We would love to come back! As mentioned before the wet room does take a little draining but it didn’t spoil anything for us.

excellent location. easy to park. very clean and well decorated. neighbours very loud until gone midnight on a Tuesday. extremely warm inside properly (not the company’s fault as it was the hottest few days recorded!) however no fans available which would help even on a normal warm day. shower very slow to drain and drenched entires bathroom! (wet room) plus far too many emails from the company throughout stay

Great location Shower. It was a wet room which meant that if someone had a shower, the next person using the bathroom had to walk on a wet floor.

Lovely apartment, in a great location. Comfy beds. Kitchen equipment good. Very modern decor. Easy to park car outside. Roller blinds at windows too thin for summer nights / street lights. Wet room / bathroom beautifully done ,but didn't drain away properly & bath plug didn't fit properly. No wardrobe or drawers to store clothing.

Easy to find location was excellent. Saltburn is super place to visit.Visiting family. Had a great time. Will return for sure. Clock was still on winter time. Flowers were dead on arrival so they were left from previous occupants. Attention to detail.

clean and tidy. brilliant location as so close to the beach and the shops and restaurants. sofa a bit uncomfortable. a tv with Netflix would be ideal in an evening that could put our own account details in. we’ve got kids so we don’t go out in the evening. also the shower/bathroom is a wet room but doesn’t drain well so make sure you brush teeth etc before having shower as floor very wet afterwards.

The shower in the bathroom needs checking as the water comes right up to the door into the passageway. It is quite slippery. The double bed is two mattresses.

Well where do we start with this beautiful apartment, bright area and fabulously decorated and it has a real fire for those cold North Sea wind blown at you after a good walk on that fantastic beach which is only a stones through away from this lovely land very spacious family getaway, the apartment itself is clean fresh and nicely decorated, with all the mod cons not that you will ever need them as this lovely little place is only a stones throw away from all of the local shops bars and restaurants, and also the beach which goes on for miles and miles and it’s a blue flag beach as well, and dog friendly, you will want for nothing stopping at this lovely apartment with family or friends it caters for everyone, enjoy we will be back..

Booked this last minute - fist time in Saltburn, wow spacious clean and modern with a nice beach theme in the kids bedroom, it’s within walking distance of the beach and town centre. We will visit again as we loved it.

Amazing view from the aptly named "Lookout" flat. The 4 stories staircase will keep you fit but is definitely worth it for the view. Well equipped and tidy.

Very clean, and extremely comfortable with great facilities and a hotel feel

We loved it here. We took our daughters, aged ten and seven, and it was a perfect family getaway. Right in the middle of Saltburn, but quiet street, easy reach of everything, by the sea, no problems parking, good spec on the apartment's facilities.... really pleased.

The accommodation was ideally situated for the beach. The place was so clean and tidy. There were nice touches with the tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. Such a lovely place, I will definitely book again in the future.

Lovely 1st floor apartment with modern appliances. Wifi worked perfectly and it was very comfortable. The apartment is only a short walk to the beach and the supermarket is also just a minute walk at the top of the road. We did not struggle to park on the street. It was also very quiet. We will be looking to return at some point.

What a wonderful place to stay. Sea view from the front door, comfortable beds with feather duvets and pillows. Very modern furnishings done to a high standard. Kitchen with everything you need and more (including a nespresso machine). Only thing that could have been adding was a washing machine, but was fine without. Had an issue with the heating which was sorted out very efficiently. We would definitely stay with Stay again.

The flat is beautiful and modern, everything is provided for a comfortable stay. There’s all mid cons including a coffee machine, tablet and a beautiful walk in shower. The beds are really comfortable with lovely crisp white bedding. The flat is sparkling clean and very cosy. The beach is 5 mins away with lovely restaurants and pubs within walking distance. If you want to stay in Sainsbury’s is a 2 min walk away. We had a lovely stay and would love to come again x

This is a stunning apartment and I would thoroughly recommend this for a couple or a family. Everything in the apartment is beautiful, from the decor and the comfy beds, through to the lovely coffee. Very clean, very spacious, and very much a home from home. The location is great too, a 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants and just a few mins walk to the town. The parking was easy, although there is no allocated parking we got a space pretty much outside the door every time. Extremely good communication with the host. There is nothing negative I would say about where we stayed or Saltburn itself, it was just perfect!
