We received no welcome email with the lockbox code so we’re stranded outside in -3C weather trying to get in. It took over an hour to get a response. We walked in to a house that was very cold and on a scheduled timer that kept it very cold in the coldest weather in 15 years. The house had an odor constantly. The bathroom is downstairs and was permanently freezing. The listing showed a washer and dryer which is one of the main reasons we chose it and it was a combo machine which is hard with an 18 month old. The bed in the master was so uncomfortable that we slept so bad the entire time and our backs still haven’t recovered. The kitchen appeared clean initially however opening cupboards and drawers revealed crumbs, hairs and scraps. Location was close to my parents was good but I would never stay here again.

The house was perfect for our needs and so well equipped. Lots of little touches like a whole array of spices, some cooking oil in the cupboard, coffee and tea, sugar. Everything was made easy and it was clean and airy. Such a great location too! Really impressed!

Very steep stairs with no handrail for assistance. The toilet seat was wonky and kept moving when sat on. The main bedroom was too small and the corners of the bed easily knocked against when trying to pass. The shower leaked (a very common factor in many bathrooms) It would have been pleasant to have a collapsible chair which could have been used in the yard area.

The house was lovely and modern and clean. We enjoyed being close to Saltburn beach. There were five of us so we needed more seating.
