Randolph House

It is a lovely house in a good location. There were various issues in the kitchen which I reported but no response. Badly dripping kitchen tap; Broken foot pedal on bin which was sharp and dangerous and which we put tape on to make it safe for our small grandchildren; Some utensils in kitchen drawer broken and unusable; Toaster broken and unusable; No oven glove so difficult to get things out of oven without burning oneself. The rest of house was ok, although the top bathroom had hair on the tiles and first floor bedrooms had hair on the carpet.

The house is lovely although there were snagging points, as it's winter we think that's probably due to it not being used recently but our issue with the heating was resolved although it did mean one room couldn't be used on the first night. We loved the lounge/dining area, great to be able to sit down with everyone and chat. Easy parking was appreciated. The beds are super too.

Location of the property is great, easy walking distance to town, beach, gardens and numerous restaurants. Parking is on street but we had no problems finding spaces for two cars. The house is spacious & comfortably furnished, lovely sofas, plenty of seating for every one. WiFi was very good.

Housekeeping / Cleanliness could of been better We also had an issue with no hot water first night , tracked down to a boiler issue which we found keys and re-set next morning Otherwise a nice stay

Very comfortable house, well presented with lovely decor, plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Within easy walking distance of seafront, park, pubs, restaurants & shops. All good would have liked a downstairs loo but no complaints.

Lovely family weekend break. Parking however isn’t as described, whilst there is parking available for 3 cars it is on a first come first serve basis - property is situated on a lovely but busy residential street and therefore difficult to park 3 cars at all times. Property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and perfect for family retreats.

The house was great - very clean and comfortable, well located (near to beach and shops, bars and restaurants), with plenty of parking etc. It was a lovely touch to have Christmas decorations put up for our arrival! Very obvious wifi information and useful online manual with extra information. Many thanks for a lovely stay, I would definitely recommend this house for large parties.

The house was perfect for both children & dogs as the garden was all enclosed with plenty of seating & a table for everyone to eat outside. Inside was large with a well equipped kitchen. N/A

This was a lovely house in a great location and it was very comfortable. The kitchen could have been better equipped for example there were only 5 mugs in a large house, no microwave or chopping board and it wasn’t clear about what to do with the rubbish/ recycling. I would also have liked somewhere to hang the clothes out to dry being a beech holiday but other than that I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed here for my 50th birthday and we were not disappointed. The rooms were fantastic, beds really comfortable, lots of space for us all and extremley clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the living/dining room was comfy and spacious too. The town centre was an easy walk and there are some lovely shops and restaurants. Saltburn beach is not far away and we had a lovely time there on the Sunday. Very clean and dog friendly. Would definatley come again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay. The place was beautiful, clean, warm and bright. Spread over three floors, it felt very spacious and cosy at the same time. Excellent location for walking into town to browse and eat. Super simple check-in and out and lovely, responsive hosts. Thanks for a lovely time and hope to see you again Xx

Lovely place. Very clean and tidy. Coffee and Tea were already situated in the kitchen. Perhaps a drop of milk would have been helpful! Location is an easy walk to all the amenities. Lovely beach/promenade. Very nice place to visit. Would have no hesitation in using the same host again.

Great location within walking distance of local shops, restaurants and amenities. Well furnished apart from the kitchen which was lacking equipment for a party of our size. Door handle missing from one kitchen cupboard meaning we couldn’t get into it. No chopping boards and bowls so shallow you couldn’t eat your cereal from them without spilling! Showers in the two en suites were unusable as the water went from scorching hot to freezing cold continuously.

Well who’s heard of Saltburn by the sea?! Not me until this visit. Will definitely be visiting again. Lovely area and the house is in a great location. The house is spacious and extremely comfortable. It is very clean and provides all home comforts. It is well equipped although due to my love for providing home cooked meals for my family I did take some larger pans a chopping board and a wok which you will need if your planning on cooking. The weather was unpredictable during our stay however this didn’t impact how enjoyable it was and during the warmer weather utilising the garden space would definitely be a positive. Lovely place very enjoyable and would definitely stay again.

Great location - the walk to bars and restaurants is only 5mins, well furnished, plenty of space for family and comfortable beds and pillows :-) I’d be nitpicking to detail anything negative about the property! Had a couple of issues with communications but the company are looking into this now :-)

We stayed here for 2 weeks - grandparents, myself, partner and 2 children, my sister and her husband. There was also 3 dogs!! The property had loads of space so we were able to have our own privacy when required. Each room with its own en-suite also was great - no queues for the bathroom in the morning or at nighttime. Everything was on hand - home from home!! It was in a superb location with beach, supermarkets and shops/restaurants within walking distance. It was also ideally suited for those day trips to places such as Whitby, Scarborough, Newcastle, etc. Street parking is fine. We had 3 cars and found spaces within a few metres from the front door but, more often than not, straight outside. Saltburn is great for families. Perhaps less to do for families with older teenage children.

Beautiful home, lots of space and very well stocked. Gorgeous decor. 10 mins walk from the beach and 2 mins from the park. Hosts were very communicative and allowed us an extra 30 mins check out when we realised the clocks went back! Would definitely recommend.

9 people staying for 4 nights including 4 children aged between 2 and 10 years - we had a great time! The property was clean, well equipped and layed out ideally for everyone to have a decent amount of privacy, access to bathrooms, comfy beds with good communal space in the kitchen, dining and living room. It was about 15 mins from the beach which we visited almost daily. Whilst inclement weather challenged some of our walking plans or at least dampened enthusiasm of the younger members of our group, the house provided a welcome retreat at the day's end. Good cafes, pubs and fish and chips found nearby in addition to soft play and local library when rain was too much for little people.

Absolutely stunning property! Newly refurbished, this place is beautiful and perfect for group stays who want plenty of toilets and gorgeous furniture and decor. We are actually renovating our home and have chosen the same sofas! Truly great stay in a lovely location and would thoroughly recommend to people!

Great location within a short walk to both woodland gardens and the beach. The house was surpringly larger than I’d though with 2 out of the 4 bedrooms being en-suite as well as an additional snug room, ideal for the kids to play. Pet friendly. Lovely & clean, a home from home.

Amazing house, which is better than the photos show. Recently renovated (I believe we were the first to stay), finished to a high standard. We will definitely book here when staying in N.Yorks. The team were in regular contact over the weekend checking in with us to see if we needed anything. Perfect stay with 6 kids
