Nice location. Outside area could do with some upkeep and bathroom shower cubicle could have been cleaner. Issues with stain on laundry but this was eventually resolved.

A great stay in a lovely house. Saltburn is a fab town - a great place in its own right with loads of independent restaurants, bars and coffee shops - and of course a great beach! And it was also a great place to explore the surrounding area - moors and seaside alike. Host and Stay were great hosts - particularly when we managed to lock ourselves out on a weekend! All highly recommended.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Felt immediately at home. Short walk to centre. Window didn’t open in small bedroom (key broken in lock) which meant it was too hot on summer night. No oven gloves was a bit annoying as kitchen otherwise great.

Spotlessly clean and beautiful house on a very quiet street. Perfectly placed for a short walk into town and to the beach. Would reccomend.

Spacious, well maintained. Stunning kitchen, whole house decorated to high standard 3rd bedroom small with no wardrobe

lock was not easy on the internal door. Host and stay charge a damage deposit which is not obvious so total cost at booking is not the total cost read all the small print

Just finished an 11 night stay at this property. the check in procedure is simple. The house was very clean and very well equipped. bedding was great. I was working long hours so I didn't get out and about but for a homely base it was great.

The location was great. The size of the property was really good , we were there for 2 nights and did not cook at all but everything you needed was there just like home from home . The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the quilts were just the size of the actual mattresses , no over hang but we did sleep well. The shower glass cubicle could have done with a bit more cleaning , water marks and old soap were visible. There were plenty of towels and a dog bed . The check in time of 4pm and vacate time of 10 am I find could be better at 2 or 3pm and 11am at least . We had a lovely family trip ,loved Saltburn. The Spa Hotel was great for food , we had evening meal and breakfast there , a great spot on the cliff top.The Tomahawk Bar at the bottom of the hill was a great spot for drinks but food disappointing , our breakfasts took a long time to arrive and a lot of it was luke warm when it arrived, the staff were very good they offered to redo it but we were hungry and happy to continue eating it - we did get a discount which was offered before we had to ask. The Coco Rum Thai restaurant was lovely , we had to sit outside because we had a dog but the weather was lovely so that was fine .Just on the road from tbe station is the main street and there was aovely atmosphere on there on Saturday night with bars and restaurants. Will definitely be going back and recommending Saltburn to to family and friends.A lovely break away with famy

Not our first trip to the lovely town of Saltburn. Some nice knick-knacky shops, couple of good cafés, decent sized supermarket and the Guns Bar is well worth a visit for its friendly and knowledgeable staff and great selection of beers. Also recommended is the Min Du on Milton Street is you fancy a takeaway. The house was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed, and all in great condition. Only thing to be aware of is the smallest room is small, just enough space for the double bed and getting around it. That said it didn't cause any problems during our stay, just meant the person using the smallest room had to use the wardrobe on the upper landing.

The house was great. Convenient location to explore locally or further afield. Saltburn is a lovely place. The beach is clean and we had a great time

very central location within a 15min walk to the beach, they is a big hill going down to the beach but my 83 year old father managed it ok. The beach is excellent and not too crowded or commercial, with some nice restaurants and fish and chip places. some good walks along the coastline too. The facilities were great at the property all you need for a short or long stay. Fully equipped kitchen and a nice walled back yard to sit in. It was very clean and well presented. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Old Fireman’s house, it’s been refurbished to a really lovely standard. The beds are particularly comfortable and the kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The only thing missing was hand soap in the kitchen and bathroom. The location is fab, only a couple of mins drive down to the sea front. The blue flag beach is perfect for the kids. I thought £450 for two nights is a little expensive, although we had a lovely time in Saltburn.
