Great Location to be out and about on the East coast. Good clean flat with all the facilities/kitchen equipment and toiletries needed for your stay. Great comfy bed. Nothing everything was good

This is a brilliant apartment, everything you need for a few days away and in a great location with lovely touches. The furniture is a bit tired and marked but honestly this didn’t bother us, the bathroom and kitchen are spotless and the amenities are perfect. We will come back.

Scarbrough and the closeness of the sea Apartment was not cleaned for our stay had to hover the entire place also the mattress was full of human/dog hairs all over. Cob webs all over walls my partner wore white socks most days had to throw them has floor had not been moped washing up liquid had been watered down only 2 bath towels for a weeks stay is not enough sugar was left all over the work top freezer door compartment broken and dangerous hall way to the apartment completely filthy and needs a good hoover stained settee nice window seat but cushions could do with a clean door handles hanging off to the living room door we dare not close it floor tiles in kitchen loose and coming up for us this apartment needs lots of work and attention

Generally a nice apartment. There was no welcome pack as advertised on their website. The lounge windows were dirty, the freezer was not useable, the entrance hall was very messy and not at all appealing.

Location, flat was nice and comfortable

Location was ideal for us only a 20 min walk from Scarborough town centre and away from the seagulls which are everywhere in the centre. Accommodation was cosy and comfy, shower was warm and powerful. The kitchen was also well equipped. Nice touch with the record player and some LP's to play, lots books to read as well if having a quiet night in. The entrance to the accommodation is narrow and difficult to negotiate if your luggage is a large suitcase. Lovely bay window in the main living room was missing curtains as was the kitchen window, leaving you feeling a bit exposed as room was overlooked by other houses and b&b's across the road.

The location was superb with parking available just around the corner (2 day parking permit provided by host) Freezer door broken and controol knob ffor cooker grill missing

It was tired and not clean but the flat had everything you would ever need and more, some nice touches, record player etc was different The important stuff was clean, the bed linen (although had fake tan stains and a few holes/ rips) Towels were clean and plenty of them. Other than that though the flat wasn't very clean, shower mouldy, the windows at the front you could see out of, if you stood really close, missing curtains in the living room, the TV had to be retuned every time you turned it on and sometimes wouldn't turn off. The oven had parts missing inside for the grill pan, it wasn't all that clean, smelt of the last bacon sandwich. the oven controls have no numbers on them so it's a best guess on temperature. The whole place was a bit shabby and could really do with some money being spent on it. I had to phone for instrucitons on how to get in when I was outside - no PIN for the secure key box had been sent and it wasn't easy to get hold of someone - when I did they were lovely and helpful - but shouldn't have to ask for that stuff at 6pm on day of check in. Communal are that you enter through is pretty hideous -never seen a hoover and smells pretty awful, it's also very dark. Now that I look back at other reviews I see the same complaints going back over 2 years - so the owner is clearly not interested in hearing feedback or acting on it.

The location was excellent. The actual apartment itself was comfortable, being relatively well equipped.. really liked the bathroom. The windows were unsightly and the window curtains to the front had been removed. Had to vacuum the carpet and damp dust the bedroom furniture. The entrance to the apartment did put us off and we actually dreaded going into the apartment so was pleasantly surprised. None of the clocks worked neither could we get the television to work Having said all that the only impediment to us using the apartment again would be the windows

Good Location, near beach,park,pubs,eateries. Parking although disc zone was easy to access.Would have been useful to know about zone timings prior to arrival. Space in apartment. Info given before arrival. A few bits not quite up to standard expected for price paid. Bed ok but not very comfy.TV not working and not sorted whilst there for 4 days. Did sort it out selves but very temperamental. Hot weather but very hard to ventilate property as windows hard to keep open.

Very comfortable, warm and friendly vibe in a great location with easy parking. Great value for money simple check in process and the property were in constant contact before our stay to ensure everything went well Very comfortable bed with a great shower and loads of room in the flat, really cosy and welcoming

Ideal space for two people, decor was lovely, relaxing and very comfortable bed. Excellent location as well for beach, outdoor theatre, old and new town. We couldn’t work the bath.

It was nice and quiet. In a good location . Comfortable bed with plenty of storage and good sized rooms. Adequately equipped. Was told no parking so paid for a week in local car park when I could have used a combination of scratch cards and discs. But no information on these and only 4 days scratch cards left. Parking bays are colour coded which isn't explained so got a parking ticket for parking in the right zone but wrong colour bay. The grill couldn't be used as the side shelves were missing. No cleaning products left. The shower had black mould around it. The settee was uncomfortable and stained. Only 2 teaspoons .no side plates.2 dinner plates . Not luxury. Only one shower gel left and one set of towels each for a whole week. Tv kept going off

Yeah location is good fir holiday let tbh Yeah tv not working properly you have got to reset it by the the trip switch in box not great. Dirty mop left in cupboard stinking. Firm alarms. Smoke detectors left on side board next to front door not good.

It was a lovely place and I'm ringing to try extend another night TV got stuck on for 3 days

Summary, numbered for ease of reference. This accommodation is (generally speaking), lovely. It is also good value for money and very well located. But, several things let it down quite badly. Items 1 & 2 could be easily sorted immediately. The problems with the bathroom would take much longer and be costly. 1. Consider putting a small supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the accommodation. Because of storm Babet, we didn't get to the accommodation until midnight. We were cold, tired and hungry, and remained that way until we could go to the One Stop Shop in the morning. The cost of this would be minimal, but the effect would be enormous. It is the little things that really matter. 2. The bathroom is cold! I suggest putting an oil heater in there. 3. Visitors need a minimum of a PhD in mechanical engineering to operate the bath taps. You are either frozen or scalded when trying to operate the them. The bath is badly positioned in the bathroom. As a result, it is far too small.

Had a lovely stay! Everything was spotless when we arrived. Clean and tidy and close to amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely flat, great window seat, great decor, central location. Comfy bed. Plenty space for dog bed Microwave needed a wipe down and curtains hanging off. You could hear noises from other flats at night. This didn't put me off and I would use it again

No instructions for the cooker - the symbols had rubbed off the dials so you couldn’t work what was what Bed was broken Windows were filthy

Very relaxing and comfortable set up, could walk in and be at home. Love the bay window. Kitchen, bath, tables clean but decor and lamps dusty, toothpaste spatter behind sink, soap container in bathroom gooey on shelf, dusty and unopenable bathroom windows, feathers coming out of lovely bay window seating area cushions. Small but important details that add up!

Spacious and bright. Good location. Comfy bed. Plenty of hot water. Repeated emails from management company reminding me when we had to vacate the property. Quite a few damages in the property on arrival. Entrance to the building was a bit grotty - not a good first impression. Some areas of property were dirty - all info was sent to management company.

lovely and airy, clean and very comfortable, all kitchen items you need were there, great location, easy process and instructions to gain entry to property, didn’t have to get anyone involved so don’t know response time on getting back to you, but a great place and would highly recommend x

Great location, great communication with staff, clear instructions. Sofa not to comfy and not positioned well for TV at sideways on.

The apartment was beautiful. Very tasteful and the decor was lovely. Very high standard and very well equipped with everything you’d need. Faultless on that score. Went home a day early and couldn’t get out of the apartment as the lock broke but the owner responded really quickly and was a lovely guy. After 3 phone-calls Host and Stay sent another locksmith to fix it. The entrance was unwelcoming and scruffy. The ‘courtyard’ was very unkempt and the area we we were in was quite sketchy with asbo people kicking off every night which I found quite intimidating, finding copious amounts of fresh blood on the pavement one night. We didn’t receive our parking permits or the promised welcome pack. We weren’t really bothered about the welcome pack although it came within the price, but the most annoying thing was we had to keep moving the car, even though I called three times about it to no avail. When we left somebody had put two scratch cards in the key safe without telling us to look there and we were booked in for a week, which meant we would’ve needed more than two anyway. It’s such a shame the apartment couldn’t have been picked up and transported to a better area as it was perfect in every other way. Communication with Host &Stay was difficult and unresponsive to say the least. The owner could not have been more helpful but I would recommend he tries a different letting agent.

Lovely apartment, well equipped, great location. Overall the apartment was clean. However the floor in the living area and carpet in bedroom had not been vacuumed. There was hair and dust everywhere.

Self catering. Excellent location. Close to beach, shops, great park, everything we needed We couldn't get the oven to work, and there were no instructions on how to work it. It wasn't a big problem to us, just inconvenient at the time. Apart from that everything was fine

The apartment was lovely in a perfect location, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Very good price. I would love to stay again. The only reason I have not given it a 5 star is that the wifi network never showed up and parking was an issue due to it all being permit only/ disc parking.
