Bright, clean, modern apartment.
Excellent location overlooking North Bay and easy walk to South Bay and town.
Quiet

No mirror in bathroom
Check in instructions unclear. Flat number not given we had to try all keysafes
Terms and conditions say one bath and hand towel per person. One bathroom towel and 2 tea towels. Any losses to be charged. Have reduced to 1 towel per person, one tea towel one bathroom towel. Not reflected in terms and conditions.
Following payment of non refundable apartment cost informed in order to complete booking either a £30 insurance or £300 held from credit card with £10 " admin fee" in case of damages. Having read back on reviews saw delays in getting held money back so reluctantly paid £30 as left with no choice. Told it was a legal requirement. Which is odd as I have made multiple rentals in past with other owners/companies and never been charged it.
A nice little earner for the company.
And no I didn't break or damage anything so just a hidden charge.

Great location overlooking North Bay. Easy to walk into town. The apartment was very clean and well furnished/eqipped.

Host and Stay took all kinds of extra payments, booking fee, £10 administration fee for accepting payment although I did it by bank transfer so there is no administration involved and £10 again for refunding the deposit, which I haven't had. We checked and on 17th May - it's now 10th June and I have nor received my £250 deposit although I have messaged twice and called 3 times. I was assured each time that it would be processed straight away. Am now going to raise a complaint with Booking.com.
There was a parking voucher in the room, but only for 4 nights when we were stating for 5 so I had to ring host and stay to get another one. I would advise people not to book with these hosts.

Location , modern decor , period property , clean , easy checkin

The apartment is lovely , a splash back behind the hob and sink would help keep it lovely , as there was splash marks evident on the wall that couldn’t be wiped off , a firmer mattress on the beds (this is a personal choice of course )

Lovely stay at Maritime apts. Had an issue with the hot water in the shower but someone was sent out that day seems the water didn’t have time to heat back up. The apartment has a lovely sea view and is walkable to town. Would stay again.

Lovely apartment in a good location. Great access onto the promenade.
It is listed in the description, but a bit disappointing that the damage waiver payment is asked for outside of air bnb.

First impressions the location was perfect, with sea views it was breathtaking hearing the waves and very soothing. The apartment was clean and tidy and the decor was beautiful throughout. We are a family of 5 which includes a 1 year old and a 4 month old. When booking the accommodation it originally listed a washer, dryer and travel cot so we did not pack a travel cot. When arriving these amenities listed were not present within the apartment. On messaging host & stay they were very responsive however as they are third party they had to further message the owners to double check. This was time consuming and slightly worrying as they didn’t fully know what the apartment actually had present. They confirmed the apartment did not have these and she shouldn’t have been listed. This impacted our stay hugely as our toddler then had to stay in bed with us, so what was supposed to be a stress free weekend caused us a lot of inconvenience and stress. They have since removed these amenities.

Fantastic location and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great nights sleep in the comfy beds and an ideal base for exploring the area.

The views of the bay were great but be prepared for a fairly steep walk uphill when returning from the shoreside ?

Spotlessly clean , nice decor good location.

Nothing however a washing machine may be more use than a dishwasher and was a bit tricky getying in while other visitors to flats in block were met by owners and settled in. They helped us out which was great after travelling along way .

The apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable and has been well converted.

It was a very hot weekend and Sting was playing at the open air theatre. There were no available parking spaces outside the building on Rutland Terrace or Blenheim Road and we ended up parked around the corner in Blenheim Street, which was the same parking zone. The car tyres appeared to have been damaged while parked up in Blenheim Street, I'm guessing intentionally by a resident, but have no proof, resulting in my needing two new rear tyres. So, I would say to anyone staying there, try and park on the front, Rutland Terrace or Blenheim ROAD.

The views were absolutely beautiful from the kitchen/ diner/lounge. It was a home from home and nothing not provided. Would deffo stay again

This is a matter of taste, so for me, the mattress was far too soft, I prefer a firm mattress, so did not sleep very well.

Excellent location, a lot of light, well equipped kitchen and good shower

The double beds are okay for a single person, but too small and not very comfortable for a couple.
Also, we were charged £10 for the security checks £250 holding deposit was taken. this only came to lights once we booked the non-refundable property. This should not have happened!

Excellent stay, minor problem with the parking which was sorted fairly quickly (took a couple of phone calls). Would recommend for location, space and access to the main attractions in Scarborough.

Good location, apartment was very clean, new and beautifully decorated. Nice to have towels provided and the kitchen had plenty of utensils etc.

It was advertised as having a washer/dryer but it didn't. The hot water wasn't hot enough to shower in and no parking permits were provided despite the property management people saying on more than one occasion that they'd have one dropped off.
Also twin beds would have been preferable in one of the rooms.
