Beach Pad

When we arrived at the apartment, the check in process was easy. Heaters were on, (this was appreciated after driving through snow to arrive)there was a welcome gift and the apartment had a welcoming feel. It is beautifully decorated and has ocean views. We immediately felt at ease as everything we needed for our stay was provided. The apartment was spotlessly clean and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Leaving - short stay but will return.

I had a great stay at the Beach Pad. The location was perfect (right on the beach and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions). The parking space was very useful especially as parking in the area gets busy during peak times. The apartment was clean, modern and had everything we needed. The only small niggle was the complimentary tea and coffee was empty when we arrived - although we loved the chocolate and wine on arrival! Would stay again.

Great location with private parking. Comfortable bed, spacious room. A couple of issues in the apartment with kitchen cupboard doors not closing properly and the main patio door in the living room wasn’t properly shut, the handle was broken so needed replacing. The stormy weather we experienced meant the wind and rain was coming in through the bottom of the patio door, making the living room cold and rain water pooling on the floor. There was also an unpleasant drain smell in the on-suite bathroom. All of these issues were reported to the management team who responded timely.

The accommodation is in an ideal spot only 10 mins walk from the the harbour and has parking at the rear which is nicely hidden from view. The apartment was spotless and comfortable and I would happily stay there again.

Accommodation in a very good location. Short walk into the town centre either via the Whale Bones and Kyber Pass or Skinner Street. Off street parking in a shared car park with other residents. Apartment building has a lift. Nice large open plan living area. Kitchen well equipped including dishwasher and washing machine. The only shower is in the ensuite room. Not a big issue, but a minor inconvenience. I used to live in Whitby and my family still do. I would choose this apartment to stay in again.

A lovely modern apartment which was very well equipped. The location was great for walking into Whitby. Commication with the was very good and the check in process very easy.

Extremely clean and well considered. It was comfortable, warm and in a great location. Very little! The toilet seats were a little wobbly and I would have loved a throw. This are minor quibbles as I can’t think of anything major! Loved it.

Brilliant apartment, excellent hosts

Excellent location, very modern and well equipped. Letting agent was annoying, £10 admin fee on everything and repeated unnecessary and often incorrect emails.

Modern The property flooded from water coming through balcony doors due to bad weather

Modern, spacious, clean. Lovely well stocked kitchen nice big comfy sofas. Large tv and good dining area. The on-suite bathroom was excellent with a great walk in shower. Good views of the sea. The large main bedroom could have had a dressing table and mirror for the ladies to sit and dry their hair and makeup. The smaller bedroom needs a clothes rack to hang clothes. The second bathroom has no shower which we found strange. A bath needs far more hot water and is time consuming. Our friends had to shower in our room which defeats the object of having 2 bathrooms which we always look for.

Location very good but workmen renovating next door wasn’t very good There was no information how to work appliances and security and we couldn’t open the patio doors. Tried texting and ringing but nobody to speak to just a download of advice that wasn’t applicable

Lovely spacious apartment No problems

Everything it’s absolutely spot on We’ve been twice now and the place is immaculate but the exterior windows are always really filthy. So bad you can hardly see the sea view. We actually cleaned a window so see out and it was so much better.

Me and my dad stayed in this apartment from the 13th May to the 16th May, and it was lovely! Such a nice view from the balcony and it looked exactly like the pictures! The whole place was absolutely spotless and it smelt very clean too! There was a dirty towel left on the back of the door of the single room but that is such a easy mistake to make but apart from that it was perfect! The communication was great, I felt right at ease and I felt like all my questions was answered. The beds was so comfy, the sofas was comfy too, it felt like I was at home! Everything you needed was in this apartment, from coffee to cutlery, the only thing we needed to buy was of course food which is standard! I would definitely stay at this apartment again or with Host and Stay again, for what you get it’s definitely value for money, having a sea view for the price is perfect! My dad is blind and he felt so at ease and comfortable in this place which is rare! He could be independent! Thank you!

Clean and homely Could do with a shower in the bathroom. As we were 4 adults travelling together, having to use 1 shower was not good

Beautiful apartment, very spacious and well decorated, balcony with sea views. Parking spot was a massive plus The bedrooms of the property face into a courtyard which must create a wind tunnel, and on the 1st night the wind noise was unbearable. Only 1 key provided

Lovely modern property. Decor and facilities were great and most importantly it was very clean. Very quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable. Private parking adjacent to the property. The TV didn’t have any aerial, so no freeview channels which was a huge letdown. In this day and age it is surprising to find this. It did have apps (Netflix etc) but sometimes you just want to watch the news etc. A shower over the main bath would also improve the facility as we all had to share the en-suite shower, which made getting ready a little tricky !!

We had a brilliant time in Whitby this weekend! The location of the apartment is great for walking into the town and exploring, lots of access to local amenities which was just what we needed. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, would recommend.

No heating on day of arrival - after several calls, maintenance came before midnight - heating system started fully to work only few hours after. Before 5am the house was still freezing cold. Second night was fine. Such a pity as it is a really nice apartment. All of us ended up sick.

A lovely property. Very clean and central location.

This was an amazing apartment to stay in. It was comfortable and cosy but modern and sleek. The view from the living room is just stunning and amazing to have a cuppa with! It was incredibly clean as well and the guides we were provided with were really helpful. I was really impressed with the apartment in general and they left us some cleaning up stuff eg dish washer tablets and tea towels etc. There was a real issue with the entrance door to the block of apartments. We were stuck outside on one of the nights for half an hour before we could get the door open. I did report this and other tenants were having issues with it as well. I had to let the downstairs people in as I heard them banging on the glass door! Also the TV was not working - we could not get any of the channels to work, only Netflix as it said there was no signal so maybe an issue with the antenna?

Facilities and comfortable space in the apartment. Great walk in shower in ensuite. Exceptionally clean. Having access to the side balcony a nice touch. Well equipped. More info needed in book regarding how to open french windows and to ensure wifi receiver near tv is facing the router. Key safe not easiest to access.

Das Apartement war sehr sauber und wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage war ruhig, aber dennoch zentral und fast direkt am Meer. Host & Stay sind rund um die Uhr erreichbar und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and in such a great location. From all the little added extras such as proper red wine glasses (I always take my own as nowhere ever has these) to games to keep us entertained if the weather was bad. Thise little touches on top of the apartment itself just made it feel extra special. The beautiful decoration and comfort of the place as a whole just blew us away the whole time we were there. Amazing value for money compared to other places we looked at The only criticism we had and its not even criticism really just a heads up for anyone else going. We never received details on our alloted parking space so parked out front and had a note left from a neighbour stating we couldn't park there but she left her details and after speaking to her directly she told us where our parking spot was. Other than that absolutely nothing to complain about

Absolutely everything it was amazing Furnishings and furniture all good quality Bed so comfy Spotlessly Clean Lovely view. Couldn’t fault it in any way apart from no signal to watch TV Noisy Saturday night with nearby bar being very rowdy and people shouting but it stopped at about 11.15 so no too bad then

The apartment was nice and modern,and was in a great location,only 10 mins or so walk to the main town,and with the addes bonus of its own private car parking space to the rear of the building. We liked the apartment layout and the lighting was great,also thought the sofas and curtains were lovely and went well with the decor. The kitchen facilities were also excellent. The only minus points we could give for the apartment was the TV,which had very poor reception most of the time and refused to tune into more than a handful of stations until later on. Also the weatherstrip on the bottom of the folding patio doors was coming away a little,making them a bit stiff to open.

Beautiful, modern apartment in a fantastic location. Everything in the apartment that we needed. Access was easy with the key safe & a very detailed welcome pack gave us all the information we needed. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable and all bed linen & towels were good quality. Would not hesitate to rebook in the future. One hanging rail in master bedroom but no hanging facilities in 2nd bedroom. Not a major problem but would've been nice to have one in there. Tv reception was very poor. Not that we were there to watch tv but having a child with us we were back to the apartment early evening so would've appreciated better tv reception. We were able to log in to our Netflix account which helped. Neither of these things would stop us booking again.

Close to the beach. Modern and comfortable. Cleanliness of the balcony and outside furniture was poor. No shampoo and shower gel provided. Lift not working. Too far from town, but hop on, hop off bus stop close by.

Our apartment was very clean and felt really homely, we liked that it was near the town centre and a lovely walk near the seafront. Would highly recommend to our friends and family and we would definitely stay here again.

Loved that the apartment was spotless and really enjoyed the seaview. Loved the welcome gifts wine, chocs, and all the little extras tea coffee, etc. All the linen and towels were crisp clean and super soft. We even had a game of Connect 4. Definitely recommend it to friends. The WiFi was slow, especially having 2 teenagers, we ended up using our own hotspot to keep them satisfied

Lovely place and a great location. We had no heating for the first day but they sorted it out very quickly
